[After a few minutes of sitting and talking within the locker room, Sam and Jack invited the first wrestler into the office: Lobo Blanco! The wolf in the white mask stepped inside and sat down in the chair.]

Sam Strong

"Good evening Lobo."

Lobo Blanco

"Hola Señor Strong, Señor Avatar."

Sam Strong

"We know that you've only had one match here in USPW but we wanted to welcome you to our country."

Lobo Blanco

"Sí."

Jack Avatar

"Obviously since we only recently hired you we are not looking to really fire you today. Do you have any questions for us, Lobo?"

Lobo Blanco

"Sí."

Sam Strong

"Well, what is it, Lobo?"

Lobo Blanco

"¿Dónde está el cuarto de baño?"

[Jack and Sam both look at each other for a moment. Then Sam pulls out a spanish to english dictionary and starts looking up some words. You can almost see the light bulb go on over Sam's head.]

Sam Strong

"Out the door and down the hall on the right. Could you send in the next person as well?"

Lobo Blanco

"Sí."

[Lobo gets up and walks out sending in Des Davids. Sam and Jack look at each other and just breathe out slowly.]

Des Davids

"Blue 21! Red 23! I'm ready to go in Coach! Put me in the game!"

[sam and Jack look at each other again. This is going to be a long night.]

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 3 March 2008

Location: West Texas Coliseum

Attendance: 2,000

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .42

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg

[Last night, USPW presented Liberty And Justice to over 8,000 fans in Virginia Park Fields! The crowd was hyped and got to see some good matches that all culminated in a main event match between James Justice and Steve Flash! Flash gave Justice a run for his money and then Acid and Adrian Garcia came down to the ring! Adrian attacked Blonde Bombshell while Acid attacked Steve Flash! Flash was ripe for a Liberation Slam following the attack and a victory for James Justice.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The crowd rose up in boos as James Justice stepped out from the back with the USPW World Title belt around his waist. It looks like the show is going to open with the current reigning USPW World Champion! Justice steps in the ring and takes a microphone, pausing to absorb the boos.]

James Justice

"Boo me all you want but I am STILL your USPW World Champion!"

[And James gets all the boos he can handle and then some.]

James Justice

"Last night a lot of people thought that it was going to be Steve Flash's night. They thought he was going to walk out of the arena with this USPW World Title. But I told each and every one of you out there and I told Steve Flash himself that I would be walking out here tonight with the belt around my waist. Jack Griffith, who got beat earlier in the night, didn't even step out to the ringside area. I did it all on my own. And now it looks like my next opponent is going to be the man that I've already beaten recently, the man who I beat for the USPW World Title in the first place: Bruce The Giant. Bruce, do you remember that wonderful day that I did what everyone thought couldn't be done? Do you remember when I lifted you up in my Liberation Slam and pinned your shoulders to the mat: 1 - 2 - 3? I do. And it's going to happen again next month. It's going to happen because I say it is going to happen and what I say goes around here because I am the World Champion and Bruce next month Justice is going to be served."

[James smiles as his music kicks up and he heads toward the back with no interruption!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MadmanBoone_alt1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PlayboyJakeSawyer_F3.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BlondeBombshell_alt1.jpg

Madman Boone vs. Steve Flash

Madman Boone and Playboy Jake Sawyer stumbled down toward the ring as they usually do, looking more well-fed than usual. Wonder what that's all about? Steve Flash brought the Beautiful Blonde Bombshell down to the ring with him and this match featured some high flying of Flash against the brawling style of Madman Boone. Flash was still favoring his leg and Boone went at it with bites and claws but didn't quite manage to break the flesh. Flash picked up the pinfall victory though following a Flash Bang.

Winner: Steve Flash

Match Rating: D+

[Following the match, Acid and Adrian Garcia came running down and Acid did another sneak attack on Flash that ended with the Acid Rain Bomb in the center of the ring and Adrian tried to come on to Blonde Bombshell again, only to be slapped one more time!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

[in a hallway, James Justice and Sam Strong are caught mid-argument.]

James Justice

"I still don't think I should have to face him! Isn't there another challenger out there that can step in the ring with me? Is USPW so devoid of talent?"

Sam Strong

"We've got talent, James. But I promised Bruce a World Title shot and that's exactly what he's going to get."

James Justice

"But he's so big and stinky and smelly. I'm afraid that after wrestling him that I won't be able to have any of the ladies that night to celebrate with me."

[bruce steps up behind James during his complaint and pats him on the shoulder. James slowly turns around and looks up and up and up at Bruce The Giant! Bruce just smiles down at him.]

Bruce The Giant

"I'll see you next month."

[And James just looked frustrated as he left and went walking down the hallway.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JumboJackson_alt7.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg

Jumbo Jackson vs. Freddie Datsun

Shane Sneer led Jumbo Jackson down to the ring for this match against the American Everyman. About the same as the last match really as far as the entertainment value went. It was a good back and forth match that really started to get interesting as the lights flickered in the arena when Jumbo had control. As Jumbo was setting up Datsun in the corner, several robed men began wheeling a casket down to the ring. Jumbo was slightly distracted at that point but managed to hit the Jumbo Avalanche! Shane Sneer walked over to the casket as it was stopped at ringside and Jumbo left the ring, knowing he has Datsun right where he wants him. Jumbo moved over to the casket and slowly opened the lid to reveal...PUERTO RICAN POWER!! PRP is lying within the casket with his eyes closed and Jumbo and Shane's eyes are wide as they look at him. And slowly PRP's eyes open and look at Jumbo! That was enough for him and Jumbo and Shane went running to the back! The referee had no choice but to count Jumbo out of the ring!

Winner: Freddie Datsun

Match Rating: D+

[Following the match, the lights went out and when they came back on, the casket was missing from ringside! But also Peter Valentine had come down to the ring! He attacked Datsun from behind with the USPW World Television Title belt! Valentine looked down at him, yelling that this is the closest he'll ever come to this belt before leaving Datsun lying in a heap in the center of the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CherryBomb.jpg

[Cut backstage where Cherry Bomb is looking down at her USPW Women's Title belt.]

Cherry Bomb

"Don't worry. Nobody is going to take you from me. Alicia Strong had her title shot and she didn't walk away with the belt. So she'll get no more shots from me. That's it. Tonight isn't even for you. You'll be safe. I promise!"

[And cut back to ringside.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JoanneRodriguez.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CherryBomb.jpg

Non-Title

Joanne Rodriguez vs. Cherry Bomb

Cherry Bomb was careful to keep the title nearby and in her corner as she faced Joanne Rodriguez in this non title bout. Cherry Bomb was pretty dominant in the ring, stopping a few times to preen in front of the title belt and make sure it's alright. This led to Joanne getting a few near falls as Cherry Bomb took her eye off the ball so to speak. But Cherry Bomb came back and hit the Cherry Bomb on Rodriguez to get the win!

Winner: Cherry Bomb

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[Cut backstage and a focus on the USPW World Champion again! James Justice is within his locker room this time sitting on a bench but focused on the camera.]

James Justice

"Everyone might be sitting at home thinking that I have been overlooking my non title match later on tonight against the man they call Mr. Wrestling but that couldn't be further from the truth. It's just that I even think this brand new masked man deserves a title shot moreso than Bruce the Giant does. I've beaten Bruce twice now but I haven't even faced 'Mr. Wrestling.' So I'll tell you what, Mr. Wrestling, since I am always talking about justice being served and everything if you can beat me in this non title match tonight then you can take Bruce's spot next month in that one on one match. How about that? All you have to do is beat me and you get a USPW World Title shot. That sound good? But believe me when I say that it's easier said than done, pal."

[James looks at the camera and we head back to ringside.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JimForce.jpg

Bruce The Giant vs. Jim Force

James' little speech a few moments ago didn't serve Jim Force very well as Bruce came out looking like the Incredible Hulk. You know you won't like him when he's angry! Bruce mowed through Jim Force with authority, using a huge body slam over the top rope to really maintain his advantage. Back inside the ring, he finished Jim Force off with a Giant Choke Slam, putting his foot on the chest of the Master of the Force and getting the 3 count!

Winner: Bruce The Giant

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JossThompson_alt1-1.jpg

[The crowd sat on their hands while Joss Thompson walked out to ringside. With him being a new guy they weren't sure whether to boo or cheer for this guy. He stepped into the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand.]

Joss Thompson

"I would like to introduce myself for those of you who haven't seen the best in wrestling today. My name is Joss Thompson. And unlike the majority of the roster here in USPW, I'm not 302 years old. I mean, the USPW roster looks like ages 65 and older should get in for free! Where did they go looking for talent for this place: the bingo hall? the rest home? Or maybe freaks R us in the case of Bruce The Giant. But now USPW has a new savior who is going to send all of these old fogeys back to their nursing homes. If they want to relive their glory days then they need to log onto the internet. Or maybe they need to get someone younger and hipper to log onto the internet for them and they can watch all of their 'classic' matches right on their computers. That way they can stay at home and leave room for the younger, fresher guys in this business like me: Joss Thompson. If someone was to date me, some might say that they've gone cradle robbing. But if someone was to date the majority of the USPW roster, they would be grave robbing since most of these so-called wrestlers have one foot in the grave anyway. But wrestling fans, don't worry, because USPW is going to be stepping into a new direction. It will be stepping into the new direction of me: Joss Thompson. Thank you and good night!"

[Joss takes in some boos from the crowd after his speech about the age of the roster here in USPW. But the crowd is still excited because our main event is up next!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MrWrestling.jpg

Non-Title

James Justice vs. Mr. Wrestling

This match was a pretty decent main event here on USPW American Wrestling. It would have been served better if James Justice and Mr. Wrestling could have gotten on the same page but there was a distinct lack of chemistry in the ring between these two wrestlers. Mr. Wrestling used some pretty good technical skills against James Justice, who at times was waiting for Mr. Wrestling to make a move so he could get pinned and face Mr. Wrestling instead of Bruce The Giant next month! But Mr. Wrestling didn't want to win that way!

This eventually ticked off the USPW World Champion and we had a match on our hands! The two went back and forth with some good old-fashioned counter wrestling. Mr. Wrestling hit a German Suplex and bridge on Justice for a two count. Justice came back with a DDT for a two count of his own. Toward the end of the bout, Mr. Wrestling was making his big comeback but missed a big splash in the corner. Justice rolled him up and put his feet on the ropes and got the three count!

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C+

[Following the match, James Justice put the boots to Mr. Wrestling, yelling at him that he was supposed to win the match. Justice put Mr. Wrestling down with a Liberation Slam and then looked up to see Bruce The Giant walking toward the ring! James looked trapped but quickly rolled out of the ring and grabbed his title belt, escaping through the crowd as Bruce stepped inside the ring, staring daggers at him. Bruce made the signal for the Giant Choke Slam to some cheers from the crowd and the show ended with Bruce standing tall in the ring.]

[back within the locker room before another edition of USPW American Wrestling. There is a bit of a buzz within the locker room since no one was fired last week. Things went pretty well, considering. After Des left, Ernie Turner brought Sam and Jack some women to put himself over and then Savage Fury came in and they could hardly understand each other but there were no plans to can Java and Tribal Warrior. But who could be next this week? Sam and Jack come in to tell just that.]

Sam Strong

"The interviews last week went very well, all things considered. This week we have decided on five more candidates: Jenny Playmate, Shooter Sean Deeley, Happy Elwood, Jack Griffith and Fumihiro Ota."

Jack Avatar

"Jenny will go last this week. We'll work our way backwards along the list. Now as far as the matches go this week, I have the schedule right here. If anyone has any questions, come and see us in our office."

[Jack posts the matches and he and Sam head off toward the office.]

Nadia Snow vs. Alicia Strong

Kirk Jameson vs. Burning EXILE

Captain USA vs. Fumihiro Ota

Bruce The Giant vs. Bryan Holmes

Le sigh! Does anyone else here hate it when you're working on writing something up, i.e. a card and then your browser freezes on you so you lose all of the work that you did?

A quick question for my readers, though, what do you think of the backstage segments? Good? Bad? Want more? Less?

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 4 March 2008

Location: The Arkansas Coliseum

Attendance: 2,000

Overall Rating: D+

TV Rating: .39

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MrWrestling.jpg

[Welcome to USPW American Wrestling where our tv ratings just seem to keep plummeting despite our best efforts! The show opens up with a recap on just what happened last week with James Justice and Mr. Wrestling in a non title affair that Justice picked up the win on. Justice, not satisfied with just a victory, attacked Mr. Wrestling after the match and Bruce the Giant came out to make the save, sending Justice running for the hills!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Acid.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AdrianGarcia.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AmericanElemental.jpg

Acid vs. the debut of American Elemental

Instead of the usual interview to open the card the show started out in the ring with Acid taking on American Elemental. Elemental is a newcomer to the show but comes in with a good resume on his shoulders and showed some excellent high flying moves in this match. Both men took to the air, including some somersault planchas outside the ring and high flying moves inside the ring as well! A little distraction by Adrian Garcia helped Acid maintain the advantage throughout the match and Acid picked up the pinfall following an Acid Rain Bomb.

Winner: Acid

Match Rating: D+

[Following the match, Adrian Garcia entered the ring with a microphone in hand.]

Female Voice

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Just wait a minute, Garcia!"

[The crowd cheered as Blonde Bombshell led Steve Flash out to the top of the entrance ramp!]

Blonde Bombshell

"Everyone has sat in these arenas like the one here in Arkansas (cheap pop) and watched you and Acid come out after Steve Flash has wrestled a match and they've seen me turn you down time and time again. We decided to see what it would be like to come out here after one of your matches."

[steve Flash looks toward Acid and adjusts his wrist tape, just staring a hole into him]

Blonde Bombshell

"At Freedom Fight there is going to be a one on one match between Steve Flash and Acid, Garcia. And I am going to make sure that the match is contested one on one because if you even think about interfering I will make your life even more of a living hell than it is without me. Think about it."

[blonde Bombshell stares at Garcia for a moment as Flash punches his hand just staring at Acid before the two leave.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NadiaSnow_alt1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AliciaStrong.jpg

Nadia Snow vs. Alicia Strong

It's the former USPW American Wrestling colour commentator taking on the Snowwoman, who just seems to be weaving her way back and forth and talking about death and the end of the world coming soon. Alicia Strong dominated the match to the surprise of, well, no one. Nadia Snow just kept coming back for more though! But Strong looked good inside the ring and took out Snow with the Strong Arm Tactic to get the win!

Winner: Alicia Strong

Match Rating: D+

[Following the match, Cherry Bomb came in the ring behind Alicia and hit her in the back of the head with the USPW Women's Title belt! Cherry Bomb dropped to her knees, putting the belt in Alicia's face and letting her know that this is the closest she'll ever come to getting the title!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/KirkJameson_alt4.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BurningExile.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AdrianGarcia.jpg

Kirk Jameson vs. Burning EXILE

That sound you hear is the sound of some very lively crickets chirping as this match takes place. Adrian Garcia tries to get the crowd riled up but his client, Burning EXILE, is off his game tonight and botches a top rope move. Kirk Jameson focuses on his technical game against EXILE, keeping EXILE grounded for most of the match. Jameson hits the move he calls the Bullseye and gets the pinfall victory!

Winner: Kirk Jameson

Match Rating: E+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CaptainUSA.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FumihiroOta.jpg

Captain USA vs. Fumihiro Ota

Knowing that this match was next, the vast majority of the crowd remained in the bathroom or buying Jim Force merchandise or just talking about any random thing aside from what was going on in the match. Ota was off his game tonight and that didn't help the match at all. Luckily, it was short, sweet and to the point and Ota got the pinfall following the Ninja Strike.

Winner: Fumihiro Ota

Match Rating: E+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion-1.jpg

[backstage, Nicky Champion is...walking!!! What an amazing feat of talent! Nicky is walking backstage and then he stops at a coke machine! The crowd goes wild, trying to help him determine which soda that he wants to purchase! Wait a second, I think someone else wants to help him. It's Bryan Holmes. Holmes looks at him and then at the soda machine and then back to him.]

Bryan Holmes

"I want some competition."

Nicky Champion

"I think you're gonna have all you can handle with Bruce tonight."

Bryan Holmes

"I want you in the ring at Freedom Fight."

Nicky Champion

"I don't have anything else that I'm doing that night so sure we can dance."

Bryan Holmes

"I want to wrestle, not dance."

Nicky Champion

"We can do that too."

[Holmes fires a forearm shot into the face of Nicky Champion and then hits his head against the coke machine a couple of times before a soda falls. Holmes releases Champion and reaches down and grabs the bottle that came out, holding it up to the crowd to show a Sprite! Some cheer and some boo for the Sprite before Holmes turns and walks off, leaving Champion down.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JesseChristian.jpg

Non Title

James Justice vs. Jesse Christian

A non title bout featured here on USPW American Wrestling as the USPW World Champion takes on Jesse Christian! These two just weren't on the same page all night and it showed in their performances. The USPW World Champion looked good inside the ring though and that made the crowd boo him even more. No one likes someone who is too good, you know? Jesse Christian used some crowd support to take the advantage and he nearly got James Justice up in the Human Torture Rack but Justice was able to fight out of it! Justice set up Christian for the Liberation Slam but Christian hit him with a few elbow shots to block that! Jesse Christian was able to lift James Justice into the Human Torture Rack and the crowd cheered as Justice winced in pain. He definitely needs some Doan's back medicine after this match! Justice used a rake of the eyes to break the Rack and came down with a DDT on Jesse Christian! Justice rolled him into an inside cradle and held onto the tights, getting the three count.

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JossThompson_alt1-1.jpg

[The ring is set up with a couple of chairs and a screen that shows a stock ticker moving across it. Sitting in one of the chairs is the man that everyone saw last week and that some people actually booed. It's Joss Thompson!]

Joss Thompson

"Hello wrestling fans! I'm Joss Thompson and this IS The Thompson Report. Tonight, I am here to speak to you about the state of the wrestling industry. We are in dire shambles as men like Bruce The Giant and Peter Valentine run amuck within our organization. These are men who deserve to be within a nursing home, not wrestling within our ring. But still they come out each and every week to bore each and every one of you to tears. There is one man who can answer to that and that man is my guest on this first edition of The Thompson Report: USPW Owner Sam Strong!"

[The crowd cheers the USPW Owner! Sam walks out toward the ring with a walker in front of him. The crowd doesn't know how to take it! They are stunned that our USPW Owner is needing a walker to get down to the ring for this interview. Sam makes it to the ring and he is helped in by Mario Heroic, who brings his walker into the ring as well and also hands Sam Strong a cane! Sam makes it over to the chair and sits down looking mighty uncomfortable.]

Joss Thompson

"Sam, I know that we've interrupted your busy day of drinking prune juice and eating your dinner at 4 in the afternoon but you need to account for some of the actions here in USPW as of late. Peter Valentine with the USPW Television Title? Bruce The Giant getting a shot to become the oldest USPW World Champion? What gives?"

Sam Strong

"Well, sonny, let me tell you. Ummmm. Ummmm. What was the question again?"

Joss Thompson

"Take a look in the mirror, Sam. You are a pathetic shell of your former self who let's face it wasn't all that good to begin with. You never wowed fans with your in-ring moves. Your finisher was a glorified elbow to the head. And still these idiot fans cheered you each and every week. And they still cheer you even when it's obvious that you shouldn't be coming near the ring. They don't know what's good for them but I know what's good for them. I am good for them: Joss Thompson."

[The crowd boos and then cheers when Sam stands up on his own! He grabs the walker and tosses it out of the ring before pointing the cane directly against the throat of Joss Thompson.]

Sam Strong

"Now, let me tell you something, boy. You think that I'm just some two bit has-been that needs a walker and a cane to walk around? I'm Sam Strong. I am the man who paved the way for future wrestlers all around this world. You're nothing but a young, brash, arrogant punk. Wrestlers like Bruce The Giant and Peter Valentine have helped to pave the way and they deserve respect just like I deserve respect. You're not even someone who is worth my time in this industry yet, boy."

[sam lowers the cane and turns his back on Joss, only to get hit in the back with a chair! Sam goes down and Joss grabs his cane, snapping it on Sam Strong's back! Joss taunts Sam as he stands over him, grabbing the microphone again.]

Joss Thompson

"The final verdict on The Thompson Report for you Sam Strong? You're a loser!"

[Joss gives a few parting kicks to the back and then exits the ring as Mario Heroic comes in and checks on the boss before helping him to the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BryanHolmes.jpg

Bruce The Giant vs. Bryan Holmes

Everyone thought that our main event this week might very well be a good one but they would be wrong! At least for a main event match that is. Bruce and Bryan were never on the same page during this match and that hurt the flow of it. Some high spots had Bryan working systematically to take down Bruce, even using the ringpost to ram the Giant into! Holmes worked on the legs of Bruce, even locking in a leg lock but it's hard to keep a submission hold on Bruce The Giant because it doesn't take much for him to be able to reach the ropes with his size!

Bruce started making his comeback though and Holmes did everything he could to stop it. The crowd cheered somewhat for Bruce during the comeback and James Justice started walking down toward the ring! Bruce got slightly distracted and Holmes somehow rolled him up for a 2 count only! Bruce turned green with anger, oh wait, he's not the Incredible Hulk. But Bruce did get angry and Bryan Holmes didn't like it when Bruce was angry because Bruce caught him around the throat and hit him with the Giant Choke Slam, making the pinfall and getting the victory as James Justice climbed into the ring!

Winner: Bruce The Giant

Match Rating: D

[bruce was caught in the head by the USPW World Title belt by James Justice! The Champ rammed Bruce repeatedly in the head with the belt and then went after a knee, much like he did with Steve Flash! He was trying to take out one of the wheels of Bruce The Giant and he may have been successful as Bruce was left laid out and James standing victorious as the show came to a close.]

Putting Bruce The Giant in a main event that doesn't include James Justice? Bad angeldelayette. ;)

LOL! I know but I figured with Bruce's popularity and Bryan Holmes' wrestling skill that they could carry each other to a pretty good match. Little did I know that they'd have bad chemistry together. :( But on the plus side Bruce has increased to an 'A' popularity in the States.

[This part of the story opens up at a little coffee shop in Huntsville, Alabama where many of the USPW shows have taken place so far. Sitting within a little corner booth are USPW Owner Sam Strong and USPW Head Booker Jack Avatar.]

Sam Strong

"I don't know if I can do this, kid. It's been such a long time."

Jack Avatar

"I have a lot of faith in you, Sam. Did you hear that reaction that the crowd gave you during the spot with Joss Thompson? You had the crowd in the palm of your hand, Boss. I think you still have a lot to offer as an on-screen character even if you haven't been used that much."

Sam Strong

"I'll do what I can, kid. Now onto other business, Bruce informed me that he finished his trip to the Great White North. He lost three times up there, once to Jack and twice to Alex. Now when are we going to get our end of the bargain?"

Jack Avatar

"Soon, Sam. I just have to set up the angle on the television show. We have Steve for three shows so we have to use him wisely. We don't want this to become another debacle like the one that happened with Bryan."

Sam Strong

"Yeah, I wasn't too thrilled about that but in his last show with the company he's taking on Nicky at Freedom Fight. Nicky is hurting for some momentum right now so you better elevate him while you still can. You only have 15 months to do it in."

Jack Avatar

"I have some major plans for your protege that I think you're going to appreciate. On another note, our colour commentator Mario Heroic has really been shooting up the card with his commentary. He's already reached a high level of popularity with the fans from when he came in. His popularity seems to be just a notch below main event status."

Sam Strong

"I'd put him in some matches soon then. Let's see if he can maintain that popularity while in the ring. The same with Joss. The Thompson Report is a great way for fans to get to know him and get interested in him but he's got to wrestle as well."

Jack Avatar

"I am working on that, Sam. I am thinking of making a match upcoming between Joss and Mario actually. Let's see who sinks and swims in that encounter and go from there. And Bruce is really doing good on the popularity front, Sam. He's almost nearing your status with the way he keeps the crowd in the palm of his hand during interviews. I just wish he could wrestle a little better."

Sam Strong

"Now, Jack, he's got some good psychology. He's just a big man wrestler. You've got to remember to always book to the strengths of your wrestlers. Also one thing I've noticed is that you keep introducing these wrestlers but not doing anything with them. I want to see more storylines and more of a focus on these wrestlers that you introduce. And until you can do so I am putting a hiring block on you."

Jack Avatar

"I understand, Sam. I know we have certain wrestlers complaining about their lack of television time, like Amber Allen, Jenny Playmate and Shooter Sean Deeley. And if I feel the need for someone new I'll look to our agreements with Pride, Glory, Honor, Wrestling, Angel Athletic Association, Mid Atlantic Wrestling or Canadian Golden Combat."

Sam Strong

"Alright, Jack, it's getting rather late so I'm gonna call this meeting for now. I am sure we will talk again on Tuesday evening at the show."

Jack Avatar

"Thanks for your time, Boss. I'll take everything we've talked about under consideration."

[sam actually pays for the coffee for both him and Jack and they head off on their seperate ways.]

From USPWWrestling.com...

Hello USPW wrestling fans! Dan Schneider here with your latest update from the world of United States Pro Wrestling! Last week saw several attacks from frustrated Champions, including attacks by Cherry Bomb on Alicia Strong and one by James Justice on Bruce The Giant! With USPW American Wrestling coming up on Wednesday night who knows where those feuds will take us!

Also The Thompson Report made it's inauspicious debut last week and ended with the host Joss Thompson attacking his guest Sam Strong! Joss has been outspoken about the number of veterans here in USPW in the last couple of weeks but he may have bitten off more than he could chew with our Owner Sam Strong!

We would like to toss a congratulations out to both foolinc and Lexa90 for getting the highest number of wins in our prediction contest here at USPWWrestling.com for the month of March. We're proud of you both. It's good to see such fine upstanding citizens here as fans of USPW.

With USPW Freedom Fight only three weeks away, we need to take a look at the card for our upcoming American Wrestling show this week:

Bruce The Giant vs. Danny Rushmore w/Jennifer Heat

Shooter Sean Deeley w/ Jennifer Heat vs. Nicky Champion

Steve Flash vs. Giant Redwood w/ Adrian Garcia

USPW Television Title Match: Peter Valentine w/ Shane Sneer vs. Mr. Wrestling

Non Title: James Justice vs. Des Davids

As you can see we have both a non title and a Television Title match on the card! It should be a great night of action. The prediction contest is still ongoing so if you have joined already, keep predicting! If you haven't joined, then feel free to jump in and enjoy!

And that's all for Dan Schneider this week! As always, God Bless America and good night!

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Tuesday Week 1 April 2008

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds

Attendance: 3,951

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .44

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DannyJillefski_alt2.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MarioHeroic.jpg

[Welcome back to USPW American Wrestling where our tv ratings have taken a turn for the better! The crowd here in the Huntsville Fairgrounds are all trying to get on tv as the focus turns to the announcers.]

Danny Jillefski

"Hello everyone and WELCOME to USPW American Wrestling! I'm Danny Jillefski alongside Mario Heroic and boy have we got a show for you! We've got a match between Bruce The Giant and Danny The Mount Rushmore. We've got a Television Title defense by Peter Valentine against Mr. Wrestling. Then comes our main event!"

Mario Heroic

"Hey uh yo that's right, Danny. We've got James Justice in a non title match trying to give the concrete boots to Des Davids. Or can the former football star pull out an upset here? Ba da Bing!"

Danny Jillefski

"I think we both know the answer to that question, Mario. And here to give the answer to us is our very OWN USPW World Champion James Justice, coming down here to do colour commentary for our opening bout!"

[James Justice walks down and shakes hands with Danny, giving a look to Mario briefly before shaking his head.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DannyRushmore.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JenniferHeat.jpg

Bruce The Giant vs. Danny Rushmore w/Jennifer Heat

James Justice took this opportunity to take as many shots as he could at Bruce The Giant throughout this match. He especially got on him when Bruce wasn't in control and the large Danny Rushmore was giving Bruce an occassional beating. Neither man sold very well though and Bruce made his comeback, hitting the Giant Choke Slam on Rushmore and covering with his foot on top of his opponent and making the 'belt' sign at his waist, pointing toward James Justice!

Winner: Bruce The Giant

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CherryBomb.jpg

[in a backstage area, Cherry Bomb is standing by herself looking toward the camera.]

Cherry Bomb

"Alicia Strong, after my attack on you last week, your father has been pressuring me to give you a return match for MY USPW Women's Championship. Of course I don't think you deserve one since I already gave you one match. So we came up with a compromise. I get to decide your opponent next week. If you can beat her then you get a title shot at Freedom Fight. Your opponent?"

[A well-known woman steps onto the screen looking fierce beside Cherry Bomb]

Cherry Bomb

"WANDA FISH!"

[Wanda just glares into the camera before we cut back to the announcers.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MarioHeroic.jpg

[With a focus on the announcers, Mario Heroic stands up at the announce booth holding a microphone.]

Mario Heroic

"Last week, everyone saw the attack that took place by Joss Thompson on our illustrious owner Sam Strong. Joss, you say that you are the best up and coming talent in the wrestling industry but I have to disagree. You've got some talent but you don't have the discipline or the respect to get very far in this business. So at Freedom Fight I have decided to beat the discipline into you, one on one. Just you and me, Ba Da BING!"

[Mario sits back down and gets the other microphone back on]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShooterSeanDeeley.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JenniferHeat.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion-1.jpg

Shooter Sean Deeley w/ Jennifer Heat vs. Nicky Champion

A very good warm up test for Nicky Champion as he heads toward Freedom Fight to take on Bryan Holmes. Deeley focused on the technical aspects of the match while Nicky Champion combated that with brawling skills. Champion was able to reverse a go-behind and shoved Deeley off into the ropes. Deeley came back --- HAWKEYE HAMMER! Nicky Champion hit Deeley with his finisher and got the pinfall win.

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: C-

[Following the match, Nicky got on the stick.]

Nicky Champion

"Bryan Holmes, you attacked me last week without just cause. You say you want competition? Well, you're going to get all you can handle at Freedom Fight! I know that you're a great technical wrestler but so is the Shooter here and I pinned him to the mat 1-2-3. And next week I will be taking on Mr. Wrestling to get tuned up for our match at Freedom Fight. But don't get me wrong. It's not gonna be a wrestling match. It's gonna be a Champion's Brawl! And I am going to pin you like I did the Shooter. Bank on it!"

[Nicky drops the microphone and heads to the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JumboJackson_alt7.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

[Cut backstage to where Shane Sneer is standing by with his client Jumbo Jackson!]

Shane Sneer

"Listen up, humanoids! Shane Sneer of the Sneer Corporation here where I get what I want and when I can't get it, I buy it! At Freedom Fight my man Jumbo Jackson is sure to get a measure of revenge against Puerto Rican Power. Power, you made a mistake making Jumbo here think that you were dead. As we can all tell you're still alive and just trying to mess with us. At Freedom Fight, we're gonna be the ones messing with you. Jumbo here is gonna flatten you into a pancake and we'll feed you to Madman Boone and Playboy Jake Sawyer. Then you really will be...What's that?"

[The lights begin to flicker in the area over Shane Sneer and Jumbo Jackson and then they go out and screams can be heard before we cut back to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BlondeBombshell_alt1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GiantRedwood.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AdrianGarcia.jpg

Steve Flash w/ Blonde Bombshell vs. Giant Redwood w/ Adrian Garcia

A definite David and Goliath type matchup here as Steve Flash goes up against the much larger Giant Redwood. Flash got speedy early in the match, trying to hit and move against the larger Redwood and it got over the majority of the time until Flash tried a cross body off the top turnbuckle and was caught in mid-air! Redwood turned him over in a powerslam and got on the attack, lifting up Steve Flash and bringing him down with a big boot and then an elbow drop. He only got a two count after the elbow drop though. And as Redwood was on the attack, Acid came down toward the ring and began speaking with Adrian Garcia. The two began stalking Blonde Bombshell around the ring.

Steve Flash started to mount a comeback in the ring, bringing Redwood down with a series of kicks! Blonde Bombshell rolled inside the ring to get away from Acid and Adrian Garcia, who stalked her into the ring! Flash pulled Bombshell behind him and took a kick from Acid, causing the DQ!

Winner: Steve Flash

Match Rating: D+

[Following the sound of the bell, Acid and Giant Redwood took turns attacking Steve Flash while Adrian Garcia held Blonde Bombshell back! Acid and Redwood were shocked when the Canadian National Anthem began to play. Out from the back came a man and a woman charging into the ring! They cleared house as they were introduced to the crowd as Steve DeColt of the famous DeColt family and Jenny Playmate! Acid just seemed to stare angrily toward the ring as he backed away from it. No one can really tell under the mask though. But Adrian Garcia definitely wasn't happy as DeColt helped Flash to his feet and Jenny checked on Blonde Bombshell.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JossThompson_alt1-1.jpg

[The crowd boos as Joss Thompson is shown on the AmericaTron walking down a hallway. He stops for a moment at a door labelled 'Alicia Strong.' He knocks twice and then opens the door and Alicia screams as he walks in on her in her bra and panties!]

Alicia Strong

"What in the world are you doing here?!? GET OUT!"

Joss Thompson

"I just wanted to know what time to pick you up for our date tonight."

Alicia Strong

"You seriously expect me to go out with you after you attacked my father last week? There is no way I would ever go out with you!"

Joss Thompson

"You will go out with me and we can do this the easy way...or the hard way."

[Alicia walks over to Joss, adjusting his shirt collar.]

Alicia Strong

"How about I think about it, Joss? Now get out of my dressing room before my father catches you!"

[Joss nods and turns to leave but Alicia drops down and gives him a low blow! She steps back and delivers a vicious kick to the head!]

Alicia Strong

"I thought about it, Joss. And there's no way I'd EVER go out with you."

[Alicia pushes him out of the room and the door closes and the lock can be heard as Joss just groans in pain on the ground and we head back to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine-1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MrWrestling.jpg

USPW Television Title Match

Peter Valentine w/ Shane Sneer vs. Mr. Wrestling

Well, at least Shane Sneer is alright after the lights went out backstage. He looks as white as if he saw a ghost though and is still visibly shaken as he stands in the corner of Peter Valentine for this TV Title defense. These two have great chemistry inside the ring and it shows as the match starts with hold for counterhold and several stalemates inside the ring. As the match draws on, Peter Valentine is definitely showing better performance skills in the ring as he works with Mr. Wrestling. Valentine is in control for the better portion of the match but Mr. Wrestling makes his big comeback.

Mr. Wrestling whips Valentine in the corner and climbs up with punches. You can guess how many. Then a monkey flip out of the corner! Mr. Wrestling takes Valentine out of his boots with a clothesline! Valentine sneaks over into a corner and when Mr. Wrestling comes in, Valentine gives him a shot to the throat, leaving Mr. Wrestling staggering and holding onto referee Baby Jamie. This gives Shane Sneer some time to place brass knuckles on the hand of Peter Valentine. Valentine pulls himself to his feet and gives Mr. Wrestling a shot with the knucks, tossing them out of the ring and making the cover and getting the successful title defense.

Winner: Peter Valentine

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DesDavids_alt2.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[backstage, Des Davids is getting himself all psyched up for his match coming up next with James Justice! Bruce The Giant enters the locker room area.]

Bruce The Giant

"Des, I want you to give it all you got tonight! I want to see what you can do against the USPW World Heavyweight Champion! But do me just one favor: save a little bit of him for me."

Des Davids

"You got it, Bruce! Blue 27, Red 28, SET HUT!"

[Des turns and runs right out of the locker room area.]

Bruce The Giant

"Go get him, Des."

[Cut to the ring]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DesDavids_alt2.jpg

Non Title

James Justice vs. Des Davids

What a main event we have here! The crowd was psyched to maybe see someone besides Bruce put James Justice in his place. It also helps that these two have great chemistry inside the ring. It made the atmosphere that much more electric. In fact, Danny Jillefski was having a hard time keeping up with all that was going on in the ring and outside the ring. James Justice rammed Des into the ringpost at one point and at another Des rammed Justice's head into the steel steps at ringside! Back inside the ring, Des took Justice down with a clothesline and yelled at the crowd, waving his arms and getting them all frenzied up for him! Des stood in a three point stance and then charged Justice but James moved out of the way and Des hit the ringpost with his shoulder!

James pulled Des out of the turnbuckle there and focused with armbars and kneedrops to the arm on the shoulder of Des Davids that had been hurt. Justice hooked Des into a Code Red stretch armbar but Des Davids was not willing to admit defeat! James Justice started getting frustrated! And that was a bit of his undoing as he went to the top turnbuckle and tried a flying fistdrop but Des moved out of the way! Des started muttering to himself '4th Quarter, 4th Quarter, 4th Quarter.' The crowd got behind the chant, ralling Des Davids against the USPW World Champion! Des hooked James Justice and planted him with a German Suplex: 1 --- 2 --- KICKOUT! Somehow the USPW World Champion kicked out! Des moves over to a corner and puts down his unhurt arm, staring at James Justice as the champion slowly climbs to his feet. This is it. The crowd are on their feet as Des charges --- KNEELIFT BY JUSTICE! James Justice caught Des Davids with a kneelift to the sternum and then swung around, rolling him up: 1 --- he's got the tights! 2 --- 3!!! James Justice sneaks this one out and we're out of time!

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: B-

[The scene returns to that coffee shop in Huntsville, Alabama. Sam Strong and Jack Avatar are sitting across from each other with Sam stirring his coffee for a few moments in silence.]

Sam Strong

"We have some trouble, Jack."

[Jack takes in a deep breath and a sip of the warm coffee before nodding for Sam to go ahead.]

Sam Strong

"Tommy is getting more and more popular along with his company so they decided to go on a hiring spree. We are losing two of our athletes."

[Jack sets the coffee mug back down and silently looks at Sam, tilting his head.]

Jack Avatar

"Who?"

[The little bell sounds signifying someone entering the coffee shop and Jack looks up to see two wrestlers walking toward the booth.]

Sam Strong

"I'll let them tell you themselves."

[Jack Griffith and Des Davids stand on Sam Strong's side of the table, looking down at Jack Avatar.]

Jack Griffith

"Sorry about this, Jack, but I don't know when else I might get a shot at one of these companies again. I have to take it when it comes."

Des Davids

"And this is my first real big opportunity. Tommy has the second best company in the U.S. behind Richard. I have to take this opportunity."

Jack Avatar

"Tommy runs a good company. If either of you ever end up looking for work though feel free to give me a call and I'll see if I can use either of you."

[Jack's voice was even-toned though he was definitely upset at the prospect of losing both Southern Justice and the football player. Griffith and Des nod to Sam Strong, having obviously already gone over this with him and they exit stage right. But another USPW wrestler steps in through the door.]

Jack Avatar

"Oh no. Don't tell me he's gotten a contract offer too."

Sam Strong

"He has, actually, but he turned it down and decided to remain loyal here to me and to my company."

Jack Avatar

"Nicky, it's good to have you here. You can bet that your loyalty will be rewarded. So who else has Tommy signed? Do you know?"

Sam Strong

"Curt O'Malley, Shawn Gonzalez, Mikey James and Carl Batch."

Jack Avatar

"Doesn't that mean Shawn is only on a ---"

Sam Strong

"That's right, Jack. Shawn is only a pay-per-appearance deal but we don't need him right now. We need to focus on the wrestlers that we have currently. This week is the go-home show for Freedom Fight. Here's how I see it going down."

[Nicky Champion sat in on the meeting with Jack and Sam as part of his reward for his loyalty to USPW.]

Steve DeColt and Steve Flash w/ Jenny Playmate and Blonde Bombshell vs. Giant Redwood and Acid w/ Adrian Garcia

A halfway decent tag match to kick things off with here on American Wrestling. A couple of definite eye candy women at ringside for the good guys. Adrian Garcia did a good job at ringside for the bad guys. After a definite back and forth match, a little interference by Adrian Garcia set up Steve DeColt for a Standing TIMBER! Splash from Giant Redwood and a victory!

Winners: Giant Redwood and Acid

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MrWrestling.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion-1.jpg

Mr. Wrestling vs. Nicky Champion

Not a classic by any stretch of the imagination but a pretty good match where Nicky showed more technical skills than he showed last week. Mr. Wrestling matched him hold for counter hold though and the crowd got into it some. Nicky picked up the win over Mr. Wrestling with the Hawkeye Hammer!

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: C-

[A video played showing highlights from last week's match between James Justice and Des Davids. Will Des pull out the victory here tonight with the USPW World Title on the line?]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AliciaStrong.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/WandaFish.jpg

If Alicia wins, she gets a USPW Women's Title Shot

Alicia Strong vs. Wanda Fish

The Women's matches are getting better and better here at USPW as the women's division grows. Wanda Fish came out of retirement for this match against Alicia and took the daughter of the owner to the limit. But Alicia was able to pick up the win and the title shot with the Angel Driver on Wanda Fish!

Winner: Alicia Strong

Match Rating: C-

[Cherry Bomb entered the ring following the match and turned Alicia around! A clothesline brought her down and then set her up --- CHERRY BOMB! Alicia is down and hurt! But next week she will get her title shot!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JossThompson_alt1-1.jpg

[As Mario Heroic entered the ring for his match tonight, Joss Thompson walked down and joined the announce team beside Danny Jillefski. Apparently, he will be doing commentary during the next match!]

Mario Heroic vs. Burning EXILE w/ Adrian Garcia

Mario's first match here in USPW! The only problem is that he doesn't click with Burning EXILE! Joss Thompson took the time to down Mario at every turn and it was pretty easy with the quality of the match. Mario finished Burning EXILE with the Hero Attack, a Charging Elbow Blow to the forehead!

Winner: Mario Heroic

Match Rating: D-

[A brawl took place outside the ring between Mario Heroic and Joss Thompson following the match that ended with Heroic knocking Thompson up the ramp and then rejoining Danny Jillefski at the commentary booth.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine-1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

[The crowd boos as USPW World Television Champion Peter Valentine walks confidently down to the ring alongside his manager Shane Sneer, who still looks a little worse for wear after what happened last week with Puerto Rican Power. Valentine is given a microphone when he enters the ring.]

Peter Valentine

"Ohhh Shane it's hard to be humble! After all, I'm the best wrestler on Television today. Want some proof? Look at this 15 pounds of gold around my waist. Sam Strong has been lining them up to face me and I've knocked each and every one of them down. I beat Mr. Wrestling. I beat Jesse Christian. I beat Happy Elwood. I even beat the golden boy Nicky Champion. As a matter of fact, you can just call him Nicky Loser. I beat them all and now at Freedom Fight I have an open challenge out there. If anyone decides they wanna walk that aisle against the great Peter Valentine then step right up but be prepared to get your heart broken."

[Peter laughs and Shane is about to say something when the lights go out! The crowd cheers when Puerto Rican Power appears on the AmericaTron! Then the camera zooms in on a tombstone of Shane Sneer with PRP standing behind it with a Sledgehammer!]

Puerto Rican Power

"Shane Sneer: rest...in...peace!"

[PRP drops the sledgehammer down on the tombstone, shattering it and sending a bolt of lightning striking at the top of the entrance ramp! The crowd is stunned as they watch and the AmericaTron slowly turns off and the lights come back up to show Shane Sneer hugging Peter Valentine! Their eyes go wide and they back off each other quickly but they are also quick to head to the back.]

Jack Griffith vs. Bruce The Giant

Get ready for total domination! Bruce completely destroyed Jack Griffith in this match, dominating the entire nearly 4 minutes of in and out of ring action. Southern Justice was hit with a Giant Choke Slam and sent packing right out of USPW.

Winner: Bruce The Giant

Match Rating: D+

USPW World Title Match

James Justice defends vs. Des Davids

In his last match here in USPW, Des Davids gave a good showing. Though the match wasn't quite as good as last week and several times the outcome seemed to be in doubt as Des hit his football tackle on Justice but Justice kicked out at 2! Justice had some members of the crowd cheering for him simply because they knew that Des was leaving the company. But Des did the right thing in making James Justice look good in this match as he heads toward a match with Bruce The Giant at Freedom Fight. Justice got the pinfall victory following a Liberation Slam!

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C+

[Following the match, Justice continued an assault on Des Davids, stomping away on the former football player! That was until Bruce The Giant came crashing in from the back! Jutice high tailed it out of there as Bruce helped Des up. Bruce and Des shook hands and then Bruce grabbed Des around the throat to a monster pop! GIANT CHOKE SLAM on Des Davids! The crowd are on their feet, chanting 'Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!'

Bruce grabs the lifeless body of Des Davids and tosses him over his shoulder and walks toward the back. The cameras follow him as he moves through the locker room area and then out the back door where a limousine is waiting. The door is opened and Bruce tosses Des into the limousine and looks toward the driver...]

Bruce The Giant

"Take this piece of garbage up to Tommy with my compliments."

[bruce makes the Choke Slam motion again to a roar of approval from the fans both inside and outside as the show comes to a close.]

I really don't like the break of kayfabe in USPW, but other than that nice show! :)

I was debating back and forth on that. I had recently watched the youtube video of ECW when Woman was taken to the back by 2 Cold Scorpio back in the day and that's what I based it on.

But thanks for your comment! By the way, look for an off-screen confrontation between Jack Avatar and Sam Strong on just that. ;)

[The meeting comes on Friday before the pay-per-view on Monday. The meeting place? The usual coffee house in Huntsville, Alabama. The door opens and Jack Avatar steps in, looking to his usual booth where Sam Strong is sitting along with Bruce The Giant. 'He knows,' thinks Jack as he slowly walks toward the table. Sam motions for him to have a seat and Jack slowly slides into the booth.]

Sam Strong

"I wish you would have told me, Jack. We could have worked something out."

Bruce The Giant

"You shouldn't have told me he agreed on it when he didn't, mate. That was uncalled for."

Jack Avatar

"I just wanted to get something back at Tommy for stealing two of our talents. He couldn't just have them scot free, Sam. We had to show him that we mean business. Besides, this is 2008 and kayfabe is dead. People just don't believe in the business anymore, Sam."

Sam Strong

"Two thousand people packed into that ballroom last Tuesday night would disagree with you, Jack. People want to believe. They want to believe in their favorite wrestlers and in the rights and wrongs that we present to them every week on tv. They want to believe in what we present to them. They want to believe that every pinfall could result in a win for whoever is making the pin. They want to bask in each and every character that we present to them. They want to believe that the rivalries and feuds we show them are real. That men in that ring really have an intense feud. The business is for them. It's for veterans like Bruce here and Peter Valentine and T-Rex. Those three may not have the talent to put on a five star match as determined by your latest internet fan but they give it everything they have each and every week. This business is for men like Mario Heroic and Nicky Champion. Men who have respect for the business and for it's past. Just imagine that feeling that Mr. Wrestling has every time he laces up that mask and steps out in front of the roar of a cheering crowd. It's electric."

[Jack smirked at that thought for a moment, just watching and listening and learning from Sam Strong.]

Bruce The Giant

"This business has given me a family. It's given me strong friends like Sam here. You know as well as anyone else, Jack, that we have a strong fraternity of brothers here. USPW is not about the internet generation. It's about what professional wrestling is all about, mate. It's about right versus wrong, good versus evil and in the end everyone going home happy."

Sam Strong

"Now, Jack, you need to take this weekend off and think about what we have told you here and determine whether or not you're on board with what USPW is. We're the United States Pro Wrestling. We are Professional Wrestling."

[Jack just nods and isn't sure what to say at this moment so he rises up and shakes hands with Sam and then with Bruce.]

Jack Avatar

"Sorry for leading you on like that, Bruce."

[bruce just nods and Jack moves out of the booth and heads for the door.]

Sam Strong

"I really hope he gets his head straight."

Bruce The Giant

"Me too. He's got a good mind for this business."

[sam nods and he and Bruce return to their coffee.]
