shadowmaster
I am currently a Cult promotion based out of the Tri-State area of the CVerse. I had a TV show being shown throughout the USA and it is doing very well. I extended the show to Mexico, where it is shown on El Canal Del Hombre Dos. The show has been running 3 weeks in Mexico, but each week gets a 0.00 rating. What am I doing wrong?
Krazy Killian
Nothing nessacarily. Just becuase its 0.0 doesnt mean that nobody is watching. Being a cult will mean that you probably wont be well known in Mexico in fact your probably 0 overall so expect small figures from them for a while! shadowmaster
OK, was afraid I would lose my show. I'm currently at D- pop in Mexico, so I thought I would have more viewers
Krazy Killian
hmmm in that case i dont know! But 0.0 doesnt mean that absolutely no one is watching.
mad5226
No...each point is...Im not looking at it....50,000 viewers. Therefore a rating of .01 is 500 viewers. So really all is means is that less than 500 people are watching
James Casey
Yeah, not anything to worry about. I had a show in '07 that was Mexico only and pulled tiny figures for the first several shows. It's only when the TV company starts complaining that you need to worry about low ratings.
Sagitta
I use some custom one-region-only very tiny networks (local UHF/Local VHF) and they never seem to pop ratings higher than 0.00. Actually, if they SHOULD start showing any signs of actual ratings, its a handy clue to maybe pursue a larger network for your shows.
