Tony: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another exciting edition of Monday Night Nitro! Hulk, can you just feel the electricity in the air?

Hulk: Yeah sure Schiavone.

Tony: No seriously Hogan, the wrestling world was shocked last week when the debuting Rhino took the United States Championship off our World Champion Booker T!

Hulk: I'm not as excited about it, after all Booker said that he wanted to face Rhino WCW-Style, and we got beat by that ECW reject.

Tony: Still, you can't say you weren't quite surprised could you?

Hulk: Brother, I was completely surprised. Hopefully Scott Steiner can teach him a lesson tonight.

Tony: And by that Hulk means our main event for the night, Rhino v Scott Steiner, should be a good one.

Hulk: It better be a good one.

Tony: And that's not all that's taking place tonight, we've got Lex Luger & Rick Steiner taking on Buff Bagwell & Mike Awesome, with Bagwell recently turning on his former partner Luger, I'm sure Luger will be out for revenge tonight.

Hulk: He sure will Schiavone.

Tony: Well that's all the time for us so far, here comes our opening contest.

- The match starts off with O'Haire starting off against Clark.

- Clark throws Sean around the ring in the early going.

- Until O'Haire manages to turn an arm drag attempt into a headscissors.

- O'Haire then kicks away at Clark's back as he then makes the tag to Palumbo.

- Palumbo goes for a clothesline but Clark ducks and then hits a neckbreaker, cover, 1...2.Kick Out!

- Palumbo slowly staggers to his feet but Clark kicks him straight down to the mat, he then makes the tag to Brian Adams.

- Adams comes in and continues the kicks to Palumbo's ribs as well but then picks him up as he then whips him across the ring...

- But Palumbo manages to spear him down to the mat! Tag to O'Haire!

- O'Haire unleashes on Adams with clotheslines, he then lands a running senton.

- O'Haire then goes up top and launches off for a moonsault.

- But Clark runs in the ring and catches O'Haire in time...

- But is nailed by a Superkick from Palumbo! O'Haire scrambles up from the mat and then heads up top, Seanton Bomb! Cover, 1...2...3!

Winners: The Natural Born Thrillers in 8:19 C

- Apparently KroniK dragged this one down.

Tony: So for the second week in a row the Natural Born Thrillers pick up the victory.

Hulk: And they did it in tremendous fashion with that Seanton Bomb.

Tony: They sure did...and here come the Dragons again!

Just as Schiavone said, The Dragons come running down to ringside from the entrance ramp and start beating down the Natural Born Thrillers for the second week in a row. Tajiri kicks O'Haire in the side of the head with a Buzzsaw Kick while Ultimo Dragon takes down Palumbo down with an Asai DDT, leaving the Tag Team Champions down again as The Dragons take off up the entrance ramp.

- Helms starts off by kicking away at Stasiak's legs.

- Stasiak doesn't sell it as he immediately clotheslines the Cruiserweight Champ down.

- Stasiak then continues to beat down on the grounded Helms but Helms manages to sneak his way outside of the ring.

- Stasiak chases Helms around ringside as Helms then slides into the ring...rebound off the ropes and Helms hits a crossbody!

- After a failed pin attempt, Helms starts to kick away at Stasiak's legs again.

- Stasiak soon manages to get back to his feet as he hits a stiff shoulder block to take Helms down.

- Stasiak then picks Helms back up and delivers a suplex, he then locks in a chinlock.

- But Helms easily slips out of it and then hits a dropkick on Stasiak.

- Helms then goes for a Shining Wizard but Stasiak easily evades it and then clotheslines the Cruiserweight Champ down.

- Stasiak then lands a scoop slam and then nails a running splash.

- Stasiak goes for the cover, 1...2..Kick Out!

- Stasiak knows that won't finish the Cruiserweight as he then picks him up, he then tries a big yakuza kick but Helms manages to roll out of the way.

- Helms then lands a headscissors, sending Stasiak into the turnbuckle.

- This allows Helms to roll Stasiak up, 1...2...Last Second Kick Out!

- Stasiak is visibly pissed off as he then tries chasing Helms around the ring.

- But the crafty Cruiserweight Champ manages to get his hand around Stasiak's neck, attempting a Chokeslam...

- Helms manages to get Stasiak up!

- But Stasiak comes back down to Earth, while planting Helms to the mat with a Future DDT! Cover, 1...2...3!

Tony: And Stasiak steals one! Helms was so close to stopping Shawn Stasiak's winning streak!

Stasiak: I think your hearing's starting to go Piper, I said I'll defeat any legend at any place, any time. You're on!

- Lockup in the beginning leads to Goldberg practically just yanking Bam Bam into a side headlock.

- Goldberg quickly takes Bam Bam straight to the ground where he starts to pound on Bam Bam's head.

- Goldberg then stands up and shouts up the entrance ramp for Sting to make an appearance, practically daring him.

- Bam Bam then rolls up Goldberg, 1...2..Kick Out!

- Goldberg looks furious as he then tries to clothesline Bam Bam but the larger man dodges the attacks and then hits an impressive Northern Lights Suplex!

- Cover, 1...2.Kick Out!

- Bigelow then gets Goldberg into an arm wrench and goes for a rear suplex, but Goldberg slips away.

- Goldberg then hits a running jumping boot to the face and Bam Bam goes down!

- Goldberg goes for a cover, 1...Kick Out!

- Bam Bam starts to slowly get up to his feet but Goldberg just shoves his back down and he seems to spit on Bigelow.

- Goldberg then waits in the corner for a Spear, Bam Bam's up...

- And Goldberg charges, but is taken down by a DDT!

- Bam Bam crawls over for the cover, but Goldberg starts to stand...with Bam Bam in his arms!

- Goldberg hoists Bam Bam over his shoulder and...JACKHAMMER! Cover, 1...2...3!

Winner: Goldberg in 10:09 C

- Lack of psychology in this one made it look a bit weak.

Tony: Wow.

Hulk: I know what you mean brother, wow.

Tony: And we thought that Goldberg was powerful before, he just hoisted Bam Bam over his shoulder from the ground and won that match!

Hulk: Goldberg is just a demonstration of sheer po-whoa Brother what's going on?

The lights start to flicker in the Nationwide Arena as the TitanTron goes to fuzz, it then flickers back on but with the house lights off as one man's face appears on screen...

Sting: Goldberg...last week after our match at the Bash at the Beach and after the brawl we had afterwards, you stated that if I was interested in yet another match between the both of us. My answer, is that I accept. But how about this time around Goldberg we sweeten up the deal, I asked WCW Management if they could add this stipulation to the match and they thought it was a great idea, at WCW WrekCage it will be Sting v Goldberg III, for the #1 Contendership to the World Heavyweight Championship! But Goldberg, with every reward, comes a price you have to pay...

*Goldberg now has a microphone*

Goldberg: Wait...what price I have to pay? Sting! Sting!

- The match starts off with Luger starting off against Awesome.

- Lex gets thrown around the ring for awhile by Awesome until Awesome takes him down with a standing headbutt.

- Awesome lays in the boots to his downed opponent until Luger manages to grab a boot of Awesome and pulls him down.

- Luger now gets up and starts stomping away at Awesome's arms now instead.

- Luger then picks up Awesome and whips him across the ring, taking him down with a shoulder block.

- The action continues like this for awhile until Luger tags to Steiner.

- This prompts Buff to ask for the tag, which he receives.

- Buff immediately takes Steiner to the ground, but Steiner soon shows off his wrestling expertise by rolling over and starting to try and submit Buff.

- That idea immediately fails as Buff manages to get back to his feet, he throws a forearm but Steiner ducks...

- German suplex! Cover, 1...2.Kick Out!

- Steiner then tries a headlock from behind but Bagwell slowly gets back up to his feet.

- Bagwell then throws Steiner over his shoulder and then tags to Awesome.

- Awesome runs across the ring and then plants a boot in Steiner's chest.

- Awesome then goes up top and lands a Diving Headbutt! Cover, 1...2..Kick Out!

- Luger is shown practically begging for a tag as Steiner starts to crawl to his partner, but Awesome stomps on his leg, preventing him from going any further.

- Steiner manages to free himself and then gets the tag off to Luger.

- Luger continously clotheslines Awesome down and then picks him up for a Torture Rack...

- And he's got it in! All the while staring at Bagwell. Bagwell then moves to get in the ring as Luger then hits a Fallaway Slam...

- Luger then immediately gets up and clotheslines his former partner over the top rope...Luger then goes back to Awesome....

- Cover, 1...2...3!

Winners: Lex Luger & Rick Steiner in 9:38 C+

- Average and decent.

Tony: How about that for retribution? Luger just sent his former partner Buff Bagwell over the top rope!

Hulk: And Luger hasn't looked better in in-ring action to my memory, great match for him.

- Prior to the match, both Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash are both shown outside of the ring.

- Rhino and Steiner then lockup with no clear advantage being shown.

- That is until Steiner throws Rhino straight down to the mat, then landing some mounted punches.

- Rhino kicks Steiner off of him as he immediately gets back up and starts throwing fists of his own.

- Rhino then follows that up with some headbutts as he then hits a quick snap suplex.

- Rhino then stomps away at Steiner as Nash tries distracting Rhino, it quickly gets the War Machine's attention.

- Rhino then lands a baseball dropkick to the outside as he then quickly gets back in the ring.

- Steiner takes him down with a big boot and makes the cover, 1...2..Kick Out!

- Steiner then tries a figure-4 leg lock and manages to get it locked in.

- Rhino sits up and starts landing some backhand chops on Steiner's chest.

- The US Champ then gets up and whips Steiner into the corner...

- And Rhino goes for the Gore!!! But Steiner moves! Rhino's shoulder hits the ringpost!

- Rhino then stumbles out of the corner and into a belly-to-belly suplex.

- Steiner then hits a leg drop as he then goes for the cover, 1...2..Kick Out!

- Steiner tells the ref to count faster as he then goes for a Steiner Recliner...

- But he can't get it locked in!

- Rhino's back up as he then lands a body drop, Rhino then waits in the corner...

- Steiner's up and Rhino charges! Into a Heartbreaker from Shawn Michaels!

- Steiner then goes for the cover, 1...2...Last Second Kick Out!

- Rhino then sits up and then gets back to his feet.

- Rhino starts hitting left and rights to push Steiner back.

- Rhino then whips Steiner across the ring as he then hits a big spinebuster!

- Rhino then waits in the corner for Steiner to stand...Nash gets in the ring!

- GORE TO NASH!!!

- Michaels is shown at ringside, pondering if he should enter the ring.

- Rhino then stands at the ropes and points to Michaels, this allows Steiner to roll up Rhino, 1...2...Last Second Kick Out!

- Rhino immediately gets back to his feet and then dumps Steiner over his shoulder...

- He then waits in the corner this time...

- Steiner's up and Rhino charges...

- GORE!!! GORE!!! GORE!!! Cover, 1...2...3!

Winner: Rhino in 20:15 B-

- Not a great night of matches, but this one was solid. Not solid to their standards, but solid.

Tony: Wow! Rhino's sure as hell focused heading into the World Heavyweight Championship match at WrekCage!

Hulk: Man that's going to be one hell of a match at WrekCage, Rhino v Shawn Michaels v Booker T for the World Title!

Tony: And speaking of World Title, here comes our World Heavyweight Champion Booker T!

But...we've also got two great matches for you tonight, with AJ Styles & Norman Smiley taking on the new acquisitions to WCW, The Dragons. We've also got the 'Monster' Toro in action against Hugh Morris. And now, we've got the first of those two matches for you folks, here's our opening contest...

- Tag to Tajiri leads to the Japanese Buzzsaw hitting a seated dropkick.
- Tajiri then lines up Styles for a Buzzsaw Kick but Styles rolls out of the way, tag to Smiley.
- Smiley ducks a clothesline from Tajiri and then launches him across the ring with a german suplex.
- Smiley then stomps away at the Japanese Buzzsaw but Tajiri manages to scramble away.
- A dropkick lays Smiley out on the mat, and a quick tag to Ultimo just might seal the deal.
- Ultimo picks up Smiley and just throws him back down with a body slam.
- Ultimo then picks Smiley back up and gets him in position for an Asai DDT...
- But with Smiley, Ultimo runs forward and dropkicks Styles! The momentum from that allows him to do the Asai DDT! Amazing!

- The Dragons were scheduled to be on the Main Show anyways so I guess I minds as well give them their official WCW debut. This match was also great for me for using Styles to get him more experience. Styles popularity has actually gone up recently, from F to F+.

Speaking of WrekCage, it's the first of its kind in all of professional wrestling as it is the first ever all steel-cage PPV. Goldberg: Thanks for inviting me.
Scott: Now, ever since WCW returned you've formed a rivalry against Sting, and at WrekCage it looks as if that finally might come to an end as you two'll fight for the #1 Contendership to the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
Goldberg: This all started back at Legacy when Sting screwed my chances before at becoming #1 Contender to Booker T's World Championship. Well this time it'll just be us two one-on-one inside a steel cage and this time Sting can't escape from me Jackhammering him straight to hell.
Scott: So you feel that the steel cage will play into your hands in two weeks?
Goldberg: I've demonstrated before that I can defeat Sting, and August 14th will be no different in Houston Texas when I claim my rightful title of #1 Contender. And then after I beat Sting I'll go on to face whoever the World Champion is at Fall Brawl.
Scott: Alright we've got some fan mail now, here's something from Joanie in Jackson, Mississippi. "Goldberg, I'm surprised WCW Management doesn't know how big of a talent you are, you should be fighting for the World Heavyweight Championship on every single WCW PPV!"
Goldberg: Pfft, damn right I should be. *Glares at Patrick*
Scott: *Cough* Anyways next question, alright here's one from Steve in Parts Unknown, "Goldberg...your time will soon come to an end...at WrekCage you will experience pain that you've never felt before...at WrekCage you're legacy will soon come to an end...
Goldberg: Wait...what the hell? Sti-

Hugh Morris v Toro

- Toro pretty much starts this thing with a big forearm straight to Morris' head, and Morris is dropped!
- Toro then stomps away at Morris' head, he then picks Hugh up and then drops him straight to the mat with a Fireman's Carry Slam.
- Toro then picks Hugh up again and drops him with another body slam.
- Toro then taunts the crowd that showed up to the arena so far as Morris starts to get up.
- Toro then turns and kicks Morris straight in the head!
- Toro then hits a knee drop and then goes for the cover, 1...2..Kick Out!
- Toro then pulls Morris up but Morris sweeps the legs and then tries locking in a leg lock.
- Morris then stomps away at Toro's legs but the Monster quickly gets back up.
- Morris throws a punch but Toro just grabs his hand, Toro then punches Hugh square in the face as Mitchell on the outside screams for some "DOOMSDAY!"
- Toro then nods as he wraps his hand around Hugh's neck.
- Morris ascends into the air and then crashes to the mat by ways of Chokeslam!
- Cover, 1...2...3!

Winner: Toro in 6:48 C
- This match didn't help the crowd get warmed up for the main show, but helped Toro's momentum though.

The main question about this match is if anyone will interfere, with either Buff Bagwell or maybe Booker T and Shawn Michaels coming to the ring to get in these two's heads. Lance Storm went straight to WCW Management to request this match, although apparently it's not for any personal reasons with Morris. Why did Storm request this match against Morris then? WCW.com tried getting the scoop from Storm but he was unavailable for comment. In what's sure to be an exciting bout, tune in to Nitro this Monday only on Bravo at 10PM EST/9PM CST!

Just as Sting v Goldberg II was billed at the Bash at the Beach, this main event should be dubbed 'Clash of the Titans.' These two teams' consist of partners that will face each other at WrekCage, with Booker T set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Shawn Michaels and Rhino (who isn't participating in this match), while Sting will take on Goldberg for the #1 Contendership to the World Heavyweight Championship. All four of these men have a lot of history together and are sure to have an absolutely unforgettable match. And an important note to make is if these teams will even get along together, as whoever wins between Booker T and Shawn Michaels will have to face either Goldberg or Sting. Should be on hell of match, so be sure to watch it on Nitro this Monday at 10PM EST/9PM CST!
