STORY: X-WA Owner, Nemesis, releases an official statement following "eXtreme Decimation".

[... A Man Hell-bent on answers ...]

For those of you who ordered the X-WA's PPV Event only a matter of a few days ago, "eXtreme Decimation", there is one segment that sticks out above the rest. The Owner of the X-WA, and Wrestling Legend, Nemesis fell victim to yet another sneak attack at the hands of an unknown figure.

The unknown attacker in question has generated a lot of heat within the company and, as of late, has even twisted the Owner's psychological state. Following, what can been documented as a second assault, Nemesis was in a state of complete rage... Breaking various objects backstage and, at one point, needing to be seperated from the rest of the roster as he was... and I quote... on the verge of "Killing someone".

After cooler heads prevailed, well sort of, Nemesis released this statement centered primarily at the mystery attacker and his potential accomplice...

"I've been the victim of many attacks in my career, however, this one really digs deep... Not because this supposed "mystery attacker" has floored me on two occassions... But more so because they still keep themselves in the shadows... As a mystery. Show your face, leave your name... Be a man & take the consequences like a man. While I may not know who you are right now... I will NOT REST until your "head is on my desk". You and all of those who stand as your accomplices. You will never forget the crimes you've committed as I will see to it that the X-WA becomes your own personal hell".

Shortly following Nemesis's official statement regarding the matter, The X-WA Owner set his plan into action... Booking himself into the Main Event up against the controversial figure, "The Silver Spoon Superstar", William Kingsbury III. The reasoning behind such a match.... There are rumors floating around that Kingsbury either may be an accomplice of the mystery attacker or could potentially be pulling the strings behind the operation.

Needless to say, This Thursday's Main Event will surely be a violent affair as the X-WA Owner looks to, and I quote, "beat some answers out of the Silver Spoon Superstar".

Less than 30 minutes ago... Joss Thompson was a member of the extremely touted youngster trio.... "The Next-Gen-Trio". However, as all things in life must come to an end... So did his alliance with Francios Cartier and Jacob Jett. Then again, it wasn't his decision.

The UK native superstar was forced out of the "up-and-coming" Trio with a quick, and extremely shocking, beatdown from both former Trio-mates. In a sense, his X-WA identity was ripped from him... So, what is next for the youngster? Only time will tell..... However... X-WA Interviewer, Jonathan Owens, was fortunate enough to snag a quick interview with the battered, and somewhat confused, superstar as he V-lined for the locker room area following being eliminated in the Chaos Championship match after only a few seconds.

This is what came to pass:

[The segment opens to see Joss Thompson staggering down the hallway of the Evanovich Riverside Arena. His right hand resting against the side of his head, his body looking as if he had survived a 10 round boxing match. As he continues to limp his way to the locker room area misc. noise fills the hallway behind him. Just then, Jonathan Owens quickly ascends upon the scene with a mic in hand]

Jonathan Owens: Joss.... Joss.... Were you expecting something of this nature? Did Francios Cartier give you any sort of hint that you were on your way out?

[in a state of shock, Joss is seen continuing down the hallway... Staggering the entire way... Oblivious to the questioning levied by Jonathan Owens.]

Jonathan Owens: Joss... How does it feel to be the "odd man out" in the "Next-Gen-Trio"? Will you be seeking revenge for the attack?

[Joss, now coming back to reality, slowly spins around to see Jonathan standing there with the X-WA camera set closely behind him. Still with a look of confusion on his face, Joss begins to address Jonathan's line of questioning with a sense of detachment to it all]

Joss Thompson: I came over to the states because of "The Next-Gen-Trio".... [staring off... still in shock] I crossed the Atlantic because Francios Cartier was looking for a Trio member. Now what do I do? Go back to 21CW?

[Joss looks to be in rare form right now as the magnitude of the situation has certainly weighted down upon him.]

Jonathan Owens: How do you plan on repaying Cartier and Jett for the attack? Also, do you have anyone else on the roster who could possibly back you up in your fight or would it ultimately be a 2 on 1?

[Thinking Joss would snap back to reality, Jonathan continues to question the youngster... However... It seems to be getting nowhere.]

Joss Thompson: I... I... Jesus... What am I going to do?

[With that, Joss is seen staggering into the locker room area... leaving Jonathan Owens behind in the process. The segment comes to a close now as you can hear Jonathan Owens talking with another X-WA official off camera about potentially sending in EMT's to check Thompson for signs of a concussion.]

Not sure Nemesis will lose to Kingsbury. Kingsbury's loss will come when the attacker is revealed by attacking Nemesis and getting Kingsbury DQ'd

Jack Griffith's highly publicized release from a NYPD police detainment center was truly a shock to many within the X-WA. Shortly following his arrest the company was moving forward with the notion that Griffith would almost certainly be convicted of his abduction charges and ultimately spend an undisclosed amount of time in Jail. So, when the raging psychopath found his way to freedom... Many were completely floored! Due to a series of botched arresting protocol, Griffith was released from all charges.... Theoretically a free man. The only catch was that Griffith would have to meet with a state employed psychologist on a weekly basis to potentially remedy his "internal demons". With that being said, X-WrestlingAmerica.com was granted exclusive privilege to sit in on one of these court ordered therapy sessions. Frantically looking all around the room as if he saw images that were not really there.] James Corbett: Focus, Jack. I need you to delve into your recent actions... Can you do that for me? [Jack continues to pace around the back end of the small, dimly lit room... Talking to himself under his breathe the entire time. However, a slight break from his own mental infatuation with himself..., Jack turns his head towards his court ordered psychologist and nods his head in a sign of saying "yes".] James Corbett: Good. [Tips his glasses down to the bridge of his nose... Looking over them at Jack] Do you believe that your actions this past Saturday were justifiably the right choice? [While still continuing to pace like a mad man... Jack actually finds enough mental clarity to respond] Jack Griffith: My actions at "eXtreme Decimation" were needed. Without my interference.... [Griffith cringes]... Vicente Marquez could be the X Champion at this point..... I'm not going to allow that to happen. Not now... Not ever... James Corbett: Your demonizing of Mr. Marquez is not warranted though, Jack. He's a young man with his entire life ahead of him. Why would you look to destroy him? [Jack, becoming more and more agitated, stops his pacing for a second... Looking square into Corbett's eyes... <div style="text-align:center;">A Question... "In-Game" Related</div>

As the shows have gone on... The X-WA has begun to incorporate more and more hardcore themes (ie: Chaos Title, More weapon usage, blood, etc.). As of right now I have my game set to have a "low level" of hardcore but now I feel like I should really bump it up to "Medium" since my diary has become more and more influenced by it.

The thing is, The X-WA is suppose to be more of a "Modern Cult" company with some focus on in-ring action as well. (As it's weighted both on POP and Skill), however, would adding Hardcore to a medium level hurt my match ratings at all since people would be expecting hardcore more?

Most of my wrestlers are high fliers and technitions (which are my fav's)... So, I wouldn't want to bump up Hardcore if it was going to hurt their overall match grades. In my mind, I have a collection of wrestlers who will resort to violent means... but... wouldn't be classified as "Hardcore Wrestlers". At the same time, I can't pretend like there isn't a more violent tone overtaking the company right now.

My question is...

What kind of affects could moving Hardcore up to medium deliver? The only thing I saw change in the product knowledge was that my crowd would become even more vocal... Which I'm okay with since I really do want the X-WA to be an underground cult kind of feel. Also, I couldn't land Mainstream deals and getting sponsorship could be very hard... All things I'm okay with. However, nothing from an in-ring perspective?

I thought it'd be best to post it in my actual diary then going to the General board since this way its more focused to my diary.... And all and all, I'm unaware of what kind of changes may actually occur.

Proclaiming that, if the match were to be a "clean affair", then he has shown on two different occassions that he can push Acid to the brink... A fact that not many in the X-WA can lay claim too.] [With a highly favorable fan base behind him, Vicente levies an aggressive challenge...] "The X-WA is not a company for the weak.... It's not like the SWF [Crowd boo's like crazy]... You can't just stroll into the event moments before your match... Lace up your boots... Twirl your arms in the air to "entertain the crowd"... From there, Jack Griffith (with mic in hand) would deliver this impactful statement right back at Marquez on behalf of he and Acid.] "It doesn't matter who you get in your corner... You stand no chance against the likes of us. It's almost comical... your "hero" mentality... That you could potentially "save the world" from our wreckage. [Creepy Laugh] We showed you this last Saturday that you're nothing more than a pathetic... pathetic... Fool.... A man on the verge of the very downfall that I once suffered... Hell, in a way, there is a certain mystique that floats around the Tri-gold due to the fact that you may not see an actual title match for months at a time... However, that notion is slightly coming to a close as the X-WA is in the process of beefing up its unique "Trio Division" in which to seperate itself from "The Big Three". That, along with the Chaos Championship, stand as the X-WA's focus on originality in the U.S. wrestling scene... Trying to create a true alternative product for those "cult wrestling fans" who are sick of the same old crap week in and week out. So, needless to say, despite the Division being in its infancy... Tonight's match-up was certainly an example of the best that the X-WA can offer thus far. Kill Switch, the unsung "Ringmaster of The Circus", came into tonight's match with a renewed intensity... Sparked from his loss this past Saturday to X-WA stand-out, and "King of New York", Steve Flash. Every strike, every hold, every front face lock had a sense of urgency to it.... Almost as if he was looking to prove his status as a borderline "Main Eventer" following such a high profile match only a few days ago. Even when Switch wasn't the legal man... He was often seen drifting towards his opponents side of the ringside area... Picking fights with Ota's students and ultimately drawing them off of their game in the process. In the end, however, Kill Switch's renewed intensity wasn't enough to keep the rising Trio at bay as Fumihiro Ota took full control of the match towards the end.... Mowing over all three members of "The Circus" in the process... Finally, ending the match off in an epic fashion as he caught a leaping Snap Dragon (from the top rope) with his signature kick, "The Ninja Strike" (Double-Clutch Front Kick), straight across his chest as he descended towards the canvas. With his pupils present and ready to "clear house" following the impact.... The impressive "Way of OTA" did the unthinkable and began to make a case for a potential Six Man Championship Match with a "career-shifting" victory! In a sense, insulting Stric Lee Bizness for his borderline mute personality... and in the end... Challenging SLB to put his Arena Championship on the line in a match-up next week on "Blitzkrieg". Without a word said, The Champ slowly spins around... Stairs down the babyface youngster square in the end... And slowly gravitates back towards "The Boys of Huntington Beach". Now eye to eye... SLB stands before his challenger... Without a single grain of fear upon his body. Meanwhile, Grayson is trying to act tough... but showing a hint of awkwardness in stride.] [stric Lee, never breaking eye contact with Grayson, slowly begins to nod his head in approval of the match.... Not a word is said... but the message is loud and clear.... Stric Lee Bizness... Stevie Grayson... Joss Thompson, recently removed from the "Next-Gen-Trio" in a forceful manor, came to the ring with nothing but retribution on his mind. So much so that even before the match could officially start... The UK-born youngster had flung himself over the top rope with death-defying plancha... taking out both Francios Cartier and Jacob Jett in the process. The X-WA fans, completely in love with the "new and improved" Joss Thompson, instantly filled the Arena with a chant of "F*ck the Next-Gen"... outwardly showing their newfound respect for the solo youngster. All in all, It was easy to see that Joss Thompson came into tonight's match-up with nothing less than pure hatred in his corner. In the end, though, Francios Cartier's overwhelming technical abilities was just too much for Joss to overcome as his bout of "blind rage" had forced him into being way to reckless. After a string of mistakes, which could certainly be blamed on said recklessness, Cartier moved in for the kill... Catching his former Trio-mate with a snap Fisherman's Suplex in the middle of the ring... Ultimately receiving a standard 3 count from X-WA referee, Ryan Holland, in the process. Filling the former golden gloves boxing arena with a chorus of boo's that could be heard all the way down the block. After holding himself in high esteem, practically begging for a reaction from the livid crowd, the unsung leader of the "Next-Gen-Trio" (not really a twosome at this point) quickly calls for his ally, Jacob Jett, to climb into the ring. Once in the ring, Cartier aggressively barks orders in the direction of Jacob Jett to "dispose of the trash"... (Meaning their former Trio-mate, Joss Thompson). Jett, without even giving a second to think about what he was asked to do, instantly lays into his Fallen Trio member... Landing vicious strikes square to the exposed head of Joss Thompson. The assault felt like forever... The crowd boo'ing like crazy... Many of them fearing for Joss's safety as he is now semi-concious and no longer using his forearms to cover up his face... taking each blow as if he was Mike Tyson in the later part of his career. However, this all came crashing to a shocking hault with one moment-shifting manuever....] [Jacob Jett, stepping back up to his feet & overlooking the damage he had just laid upon his former ally, began to spin around in which to celebrate with Francios Cartier.... However, once he spun around... Cartier shocked the world.... Kicking Jett in the stomach and planting him in the corner of the ring with a Fisherman's Brainbuster Suplex. Jack Griffith, the resident "psychopath" of the X-WA, is still locked into a 3 month rage-filled feud with his self proclaimed, "Arch-Nemesis", Vicente Marquez. Meanwhile, Hell Monkey delivered a powerful comeback with the company this past Saturday, at "eXtreme Decimation", when he was fortunate enough to obtain the newly minted X-WA Chaos Championship. Needless to say, their first ever meeting would translate into a heavily anticipated affair. The match itself was a very intense battle as both, Hell Monkey and Jack Griffith, brought their "A Game" tonight. Griffith, using his educated fists to mow down Hell Monkey at certain points through-out the match, was truly in top form as the mentally unstable brawler knew exactly how to push the Chaos Champion to the edge and back. Meanwhile, Monkey continued with his staple "hard striking" approach to in-ring competition... Using an array of Flashy manuevers strung together to ultimately create a sense of true "Chain Wrestling". As you can see, Their approaches to in-ring wrestling was quite the opposite as Jack Griffith looked to slow down the pace while Hell Monkey was focused primarily on pushing the speed of the action up to a truly chaotic pace. In the end, Jack Griffith attempted to bring the X-WA Chaos Championship into the match as a weapon... Looking to strike the champion with his very gold-plated championship belt... However... X-WA referee, Ryan Holland, was quicky enough to hault such an attack... Gently handing the Championship belt back to a ringside attendant ascending upon the ringside area. This break from focus by Holland ultimately gave Jack Griffith the room he needed to cheat his way to a victory... Striking Hell Monkey with a pair of brass knuckles that were tucked in his ring attire. Monkey, staggering away from Griffith following the brass knuckle strike, was incapacitated enough for Jack Griffith to swoop in and successfully exicute his signature "Jack in the Box" (Death Valley Driver)... However, he wouldn't have too as a slew of X-WA security guards quickly pile into the ring separating the two in the process. With a gang of "black shirts" in between the two of them... Kingsbury, all of a sudden, turns into a tough guy as he "pretends" to try to break past them to get to Nemesis.... However, at one point when he was actually successfull... A shocked Kingsbury leaped backwards and dove below the bottom rope as Nemesis was able to grab the back of his shirt.] [Kingsbury, now back peddling up the enterence way towards the curtains leading to the back, begins to shout towards the ring... Proclaiming that "everything is going exactly as planned". A statement that would unvail a clue in the matter.... How do they muster up the inner strength to not only continue with their focus but also step out onto national TV with thousands of condescending eyes peered squarely at them. These very notions were called into question this week on "Thursday Night Blitzkrieg" as not one, but two superstars, were forced to step back through the curtains and compete once again.... Both men suffering major set-backs this past Saturday as both of them had fallen victim to the current X-WA Arena Champion, Stric Lee Bizness. How would they fair this week? The answer to that question is with a resounding "let down"... Despite the fact that both of these superstars had recently been part of an amazing three way bout for the Arena Championship.... It looked like Stric Lee Bizness must have been the "glue" to keep them together.... As AE and Phoenix were absolutely awkward through out the entire match. Nothing seemed to click... Everything looked as if neither man really knew what they were doing in the ring. In a way, both men had their mindsets on what they were looking to accomplish and it was that stubborn headedness that would ultimately "sink" their match-up. There wasn't soo much any botched moves or moments where you thought... "Oh, that was terrible"... More so just an overall tone of awkwardness between the two budding superstars. The fluidity was broken... Moves were sadly uninspiring... and, in the end, the crowd really didn't find much to get into. In the end, American Elemental was able to generate enough momentum to eventually keep his opponent grounded for long enough to exicute his signature "Inferno Splash" (450 Splash)... Picking up the, less than exciting, victory over the struggling Indy Veteran, Ultimate Phoenix. Winner: American Elemental over Ultimate Phoenix in 14:38 via pinfall. Obviously not very happy with what he expects to happen next as his Son continues his dream to one day become a widely respected in-ring competitor like his Father. However, out of respect for his kin, Steve stands in the corner of the ring following, what could be described as, a loveless hug from the "blue collar" Flash.] "Father, I understand your reasoning.... I realize that you are only trying to protect me... but... I'm an adult now. I can make decisions for myself... and even though you may think that this industry will chew me up and spit me out... I want... no... I need to embark upon this journey. I need to continue on as this is my destiny." [steve, already tired of his Son's statement, quickly grabs the microphone from his unsuspecting Son. Taking a brief second to look Mathew square in the eye before delivering this message to him.] "You don't get it, Mathew... and you never will. You're a liability... You'll forever be a pawn in someone elses game. Don't you see that? People will hurt you just to get back at me... They know they have an easy target with you... As long as you call yourself a wrestler and come to these events... You will forever be hunted by those who look to make a name for themselves. I can't have you here... Steve, gearing up for a fight, steps away from his Son and walks towards the corner of the ring in which the demonic Trio is ascending upon. However, his attempt to stave off his opponent from this last Saturday (Kill Switch) and his band of psychos was unsuccessful. Instead, "The Circus" is seen laying out both Steve and Mathew Flash in the process... both men struggling to stay concious following a hellacious beating. However, that wasn't the end...] [Whippy the Clown is seen handcuffing the semi-concious Steve Flash to the top ring rope in the opposite corner of where Mathew laid unconcious... Keeping him at bay as Whippy the Clown quickly grabs a table from underneath the ring. In one swift move, both he and Dragon quickly set up the table... Positioning it in the middle of the ring. From there, Whippy grabs into his "Sack of Fun" and pulls out a small canister and a match.... The canister is full of Gasoline... and the match..., when mixed with the gasoline, sets the table a blaze.] [As Steve Flash desperately tries to free himself from his handcuffs... Kill Switch is seen picking up the lifeless Mathew... Speaking something in the direction of Steve... And then laughing as he picks up Steve's son and plants him through the flaming table with a HUGE powerbomb! Ryand Holland, still present outside of the ring, quickly extinguishes the flames with a fire extinguisher located underneath the ring. However, the damage has been done...] [The segment comes to a close now as Steve, once again, desperately tries to stretch his body as far as possible to aide to his unconcious Son... Screaming out in agony as he had to witness his own Son powerbombed through a flaming table... only inches from him. Meanwhile, "The Circus" is standing just outside of his reach... Insulting him, mocking him, and all around showing their utter disrespect for the man who practically owns The New York Indy scene. However, Steve doesn't even seem to notice them there... Instead... He's focused primarily on his Son... It can be a very splendid thing. In the wrestling world, fans often cry for the "old days"... The day and age where supposedly wrestling was "ten times better than it is now". Needless to say, We as wrestling fans... Are almost always obsessed with Nostalgia. With that being said, Tonight's Main Event was truly a Nostalgic affair... A brief window into the past as the X-WA Owner, Nemesis, looked more so like the battle-tested warrior of yesterday versus the watered down version he had slowly become since developing his own very company. Well, it wasn't really watered down so much as someone looking to "put a new hat on" as he transitioned from the Beacon of Hardcore Wrestling to a widely respected businessman in the drivers seat of a new, fastly rising, promotion. However, that version of Nemesis had seemingly faded into the sand.... Now, the man who stood before us, was a mixture of the Old Hardcore Icon we once loved... And a viciously hell-bent psycho seething for answers... In a sense, He was the Nemesis of the 90's.... On "steriods". From the very beginning of the match, The Wrestling Legend, was devilishly focused on inflicting as much pain as possible upon his disgruntled employee. No matter what Kingsbury tried to do, even at one point attempting to run away, Nemesis wasn't having any of it... Instead, he continued his assault with a feverish pace that would make even some 20 somethings look like an underacheiving punk. At certain points, Kingsbury's bodyguard, Vladimir even attempted to slow down the enraged Owner.... However... to no avail. A round of fists wasn't going to stop this mad man from finding answers.... Even if the powerful strikes came from a 7 foot monster. Nemesis, using every single inch of the ringside area at his disposal, was in complete control through out the match's entirety. Throwing the youngster into the steel steps, whipping him over the steel guadrail and into the 3rd row of the crowd, even choking the somewhat sympathetic punk with every single wire located around the ringside area. Ryan Holland, attempting to regain control, would often question the Owner... Even going as far as to threaten a DQ... However, even he knew that there was nothing he could do... It was his boss that he was trying to threaten... Not a wayward middle of the road superstar. So, instead, Holland allowed the vicious assault to continue... and continue it certainly did. After every single blow... Nemesis was heard yelling down upon his fallen victim... Demanding that he tell him who his mysterious attacker was. However, the "Silver Spoon Superstar" lay quiet... Not really sure if it was Kingsbury's attempt to keep the secret to himself, that he truly didn't know the identity of Nemesis's attacker, or the beating that was bestowed upon him was soo debilitating that he was unable to formulate any sense of spoken word. So, without any new information, The X-WA Owner continued to throw his opponent around like a theoretical rag-doll... Hoping that he could beat the answers out of him in the process. Nemesis, never a moment that he wasn't in control, finally pulled Kingsbury back into the ring following what could have been 20 consecutive ten counts... Meanwhile, Dragging a steel chair in his left hand at the same time. In a final act of violence, Nemesis knelt down next to the semi-concious Kingsbury... Gripping his throat with his right hand as he screams into his face... Looking for Kingsbury to tell him the identity of his mysterious attacker one last time. However, Kingsbury is barely able to mouth a shocking... "F*ck You" back to the borderline psychotic Owner. This absolutely sends Nemesis over the edge as he quickly bounced back up to his feet... Raising the steel chair on high... On the verge of striking the practically dead, Kingsbury..... However, it never happened.... Why? Just as Nemesis was lifting the steel chair up over his head for one major blow... A man dressed in a tinted Riot Squad outfit stormed through the crowd and into the ring almost completley undetected. As Nemesis was on the verge of swinging down with the might of a GOD... The unknown Riot Squad member landed a heavy knight stick strike upon the exposed back of the X-WA Owner. Nemesis, wincing in pain, dropped the steel chair... Trying to spin around to defend himself against his unknown attacker... However, it was too late... The Riot Squad member with a tinted face mask... Continued his assault... Beating Nemesis down to the ground with blow after blow from his metal baton. Ryan Holland, knowing that he can't allow this match to continue, quickly calls for the bell... declaring this match a DQ due to the interference from the unknown attacker. Winner: Nemesis over William Kingsbury III in 14:36 via DQ. The match was called a DQ in favor of Nemesis following an interference from an unknown Riot Squad attacker. William Kingsbury III, his bodyguard Vladimir, and the mysterious man dressed in a tinted "Riot Squad" suit continued their assault on the X-WA Owner... In a sense, delivering what can only be classified as a true "gang beating".] [Nemesis, unable to defend himself due to the overwhelming numbers against him, found his final concious moments to be very painful as all three men took turns driving the Wrestling Legend into the canvas. The hanious attack finally came to an end following a final Knight Stick blow from the mysterious "Riot Squad" member to the center of Nemesis's head (as Kingsbury and Vladimir kept him on his feet). As X-WA fans throw, what seems like, endless amounts of trash into the ring (a sign of protest over what has just transpired)... The rumors were said to be that Acid had joked with fellow superstars that Jack was back on "The sauce"... Citing a string of events that have happened recently backstage. Upon hearing this, Jack confronted Acid and their verbal altercation almost spilled over into a full on fist fight. However, X-WA Officials quickly dissolved the situation before it escalated anymore. After talking with a few of these Officials, it was said that Nemesis left Acid with a "Stern Warning" about what the company policy is and ultimately challenged Acid's maturity level. * Genio Verde was released from the X-WA shortly before this weeks telecast of "Thursday Night Blitzkrieg". He had been an original member of the roster, however, the Creative Team was unable to conjure up any TV time for the international superstar. Verde was noticeably unhappy within the company... Therefore, when push came to shove... Nemesis gave him an early Christmas Present and agreed to a Release. * Velocidad, a good friend of Genio Verde, was unhappy with Genio's release and now seems to be, also, unhappy with his current situation. Velocidad has not been seen on X-WA TV for quite some time and it seems to be irritating the youngster. No word on him asking for his release quite yet but this certainly is a story to watch. * X-WA Officials have been "walking on eggs shells" for the past two weeks as one of their top stars, Vicente Marquez, has been offered positions with 2 different developmental companies. The fear is that Marquez will see an eventual run in one of the bigger international companies and will flee the X-WA for potentially "greener pastures". While nothing has happened quite yet... That last show was awesome, Eisen-verse. Really well written and the storylines are so well put together right now - particularly while you've quite a few complex ones on the go at one time and yet they're all playing out superbly in their separate ways. Just a pity that AE and UP didn't have good chemistry to raise their match level.

I'm really happy how the initial storylines have faired thus far and how they seem to effortlessly meld into new versions of itself as the shows go on. Makes for a lot of fun as a writer. Right now, I'm really excited to move forward with a major feud that is currently on the horizon... Hopefully it will make for a good read! As for AE and Phoenix, bluh... ha. He knows something, What? We don't know ...]</div> We were all mislead, told fabrications of the real story, Lied to by William Kingsbury III over the last month. However, does it really shock you? "The Silver Spoon Superstar" has adamantly denied any sort of connection with the mysterious attacker who has, now, physically assaulted the X-WA Owner on three different occasions. He has even gone as far as to vehemently deny any sort of "wrong doing" in the situation itself, however, Last Night we were presented the Real Truth behind the matter. Just as Nemesis was about to potentially destroy Kingsbury with a thunderous chair shot... A mysterious man clad in a black tinted "Riot Squad" outfit rushed into the ring and assaulted the war-torn Owner with a metal baton... Bashing it repeatedly over his body on numerous occasions. So much for not having any sort of connection with the attacker... As the "Riot Squad" figure ultimately saved the snobby Kingsbury from a potentially life-altering chair shot. Shortly after the save, forcing Ryan Holland to call for a DQ in favor of Nemesis, The Three Kingsbury Ally's (William, Vladimir, and now the mysterious attacker) laid into the outnumbered Wrestling Legend... Knocking him out in the process. There's no lying at this point... Kingsbury knows something about the situation, and if he doesn't have actual knowledge of his mysterious helper, he at least has a connection to him by this point. What will Nemesis have in store for the very man who is currently in the process of suing the X-WA? Also, can the X-WA Owner find a way to punish Vladimir, not an X-WA employee, and the mysterious attacker, identity unknown, for their crimes? We will certainly find out this next Thursday... Also, William Kingsbury III is set to address the situation this next week on "Blitzkrieg" as well. What will the "Silver Spoon Superstar" have to say regarding the matter? The incident took place as Kill Switch, the "Ringmaster of the Circus" Trio, was seen powerbombing the youngster through a flaming table set up in the middle of the ring, Meanwhile, his Father was forced to watch as he was handcuffed to a nearby ring rope... Making for an extremely emotional moment this past week on "Thursday Night Blitzkrieg". The impact of such attack has sent shockwaves through out the X-WA as company officials were quoted as being "horrified such an event would take place". Also, various X-WA superstars are looking to each other for support as many close to the Flash family are completely beside themselves. However, no one has taken this attack harder than Mathew's Father, Steve Flash. We attempted to receive a word from the "King of New York", however, he was not present following the attack as he was, instead, accompanying his Son to a nearby hospital via ambulance. Francios Cartier was once the unsung leader of the budding X-WA Trio, "The Next-Gen-Trio". An arrogant youngster from Canada with a collective cry of potential success with his former Trio-mates. However, that all came crashing to a halt recently as Cartier single handedly forced both Joss Thompson and Jacob Jett out of the highly touted threesome. A string of events drawn out over two different evens... Both turns just as shocking as anything else present on the card.

So, what happens to Cartier now? With a new, more aggressive, attitude... A more focused direction... And a new nickname added to his persona, "The Cornerstone", The foreshadowing is blinding... Francios Catier is on a pathway towards monumental success......

That is if he's able to survive the violent vendetta brewing within the fists of his former Trio-mates, Joss Thompson and Jacob Jett.

X-WA backstage interviewer, and host of this segment, was fortunate enough to speak with the, now, "Cornerstone" shortly following his resounding turn on his former ally, Jacob Jett, this last week on "Thursday Night Blitzkrieg". This is what ensued...

[The roar of the crowd is muffled, but still blankets the backstage hallways of the X-WA Arena, as X-WA interviewer, Jonathan Owens, is seen standing alongside the newly proclaimed "Cornerstone".... Francios Cartier. The former leader of the "Next-Gen-Trio" flashes a confident smirk from ear to ear as Owens opens up the segment with a tough question straight out of the gate.]

Jonathan Owens: I'm here with the "man of the hour", Francios Cartier, shortly following another shocking turn of events. It was less than a week ago, at "eXtreme Decimation", that Cartier had forced his once trio-mate Joss Thompson out of the group. While it was a shock at the time... It seemed like you were fixing to re-create the group with Jacob Jett still in mind... however... This week on "Blitzkrieg", You shocked the world again when you laid out your supposed ally. What's up with all of these backstabbing moments, Francios?

[Cartier, running a sly smirk upon his face, opens his response with a short confident laughter]

Francios Cartier: The thing is... Jonathan... I'm smart enough to realize when a good thing has gone sour... and that's exactly what happened to this version of the "Next-Gen-Trio". Joss had shown a consistent inability to produce... Jacob showed that he was nothing more than a mindless "sheep"... Neither made a case for themselves to stay in my presence. The truth of the matter is... I'm destined for greatness, immortality some would say... [smirks]... And these two talentless nobodies were doing everything in their power to hold me back. Have you seen our record? [shakes his head] It's a damn shame. I wasn't going to stand by and watch the very group that I created... The very blood in my body... Fall victim to the inability to succeed within two of its members... It's as simple as that.

Jonathan Owens: This version of the "Next-Gen-Trio"? Will another one build within this version's wake?

Francios Cartier: That's a conversation for another day, Jonathan. Today, we focus upon me... "The Cornerstone" of the X-WA. [An arrogant smirk shows back upon his face] My moment in the spotlight has come much earlier than most had expected, however, the truth of the matter is that it's here... This very second... I stand before you the greatest asset in the X-WA's short history... The present and future of the Wrestling industry as we know it.

Jonathan Owens: Is that why you've dubbed yourself "The Cornerstone"? That you believe you truly are the "Cornerstone of the X-WA"?

Francios Cartier: You're damn right. [Arrogant laughter follows] You can throw around names like Steve Flash, Acid, Fumihiro Ota, etc... However, they all have a very short shelf-life. In ten years, their names will be nothing more than footnotes. Me, on the other hand, I will be remembered for centuries as the VERY MAN who made the X-WA what it is... What it will become. On my shoulders, This company will rise... In my control... My name will live on with the Immortals.

Jonathan Owens: Do you expect much backlash from...

[Just as Owens looks to finish his question, He's all of a sudden cut off by a female voice peering from off screen.]

Familiar Female Voice: Bravo.... Bravo...

[A light round of clapping is heard off camera as well as Cartier starts to nod his head in a show of approval... Still displaying the very arrogant smirk that has come to trademark his new persona. A few seconds pass as it seems like Owens has seen a ghost... Completely beside himself in the process.]

Jonathan Owens: What are you doing here? When did you join the X-WA?

[With that, the mysterious female voice becomes a full bodied figure... Standing before the scene is none other than former SWF colour commentator, Queen Emily.]

Jonathan Owens: Are you asking to be at his side?

Queen Emily: Shut up, Jonathan. Don't you have a a kid's party to entertain?

[Emily stairs down Owens in an evil manor... So much so that Jonathan cringes and steps away from the scene... Just leaving Francios Cartier and Queen Emily together... alone. Emily slowly wraps her arms around Cartier... Using his neck to keep herself up... Meanwhile, Cartier turns to the camera lens and delivers this final statement]

Francios Cartier: Let this be the moment in history where the declaration was made... The X-WA finally has its Impact Player.... Its great ruler... Its "Cornerstone".... Francios Cartier.

[We would fade to black now as Emily continues to wrap her arms around his neck... Slightly looking out of the corner of her eye at the camera lens... Displaying a sly, yet sexy, smirk upon her face... Now... A component of greatness.]

really enjoying the new cartier persona. great show all together, eisen. also, love what you did between the flash family members. it adds a whole new dimension to your kill switch/steve flash feud. im excited to see where you go from here, not just with the flash feud but also the mystery attacker thing. whoever takes the spot of the mystery attacker will definetly catipult their popularity with a feud against nemesis.

Francios was always the main focus of the "Next-Gen-Trio", so, as things progressed... It just seemed best to allow this version of the Trio to eventually have a falling out. Instead of having a traditional falling out... I thought i'd be fun to have Cartier take control of his own "path"... Laying out both men in the process of a week or so. Now, with Queen Emily at his side, he carries a "Franchise" Shane Douglas/Francine feel for me. While it’s unknown why the name was chosen… One thing is for certain… The X-WA seems destined to continue towards its inevitable decent into the Abyss.

With the close of every in-game month, I've dedicated a post to the "Best Of" that month. This was created so that newbies to my X-WA Diary could easily jump "into the action" without having to do extensive amounts of reading before hand. Each award category was designed in which to give a fitting synopsis of what the X-WA Landscape looked like over the last month. With that being said, Enjoy!

Superstar of the Month: Fumihiro Ota

Reason: For the first month since the X-WA's inception, Someone has beaten out the X-WA X Champion, Acid, for the "Superstar of the Month". Fumihiro Ota, written off by many as a floundering Main Eventer, found a way to capitalize upon the fact that he can no longer challenge for the X Championship as long as Acid is the Champ.... Creating a Trio built upon training the future superstars of the wrestling industry. Gravitating towards a "new chapter" in his storied career, Ota is now focused primarily upon teaching the "superstars of tomorrow" how to compete as warriors with pride, honor, and respect. His first students, Mikkel Drago and Jay Chord, have already shown major signs of furthering development... Even getting them to the point where their Trio, "The Way of OTA", is on the verge of an X-WA Six Man Championship Match. Adding in the fact that he is 1-0 this month in singles competition... and His Trio is 3-0 this month... It really was a no brainier.

Match of the Month: Acid © def. Vicente Marquez [Grade: B], "eXtreme Decimation", 3rd Week of June 2008

Reason: After 2 months of build-up, The consummate hero, Vicente Marquez, finally found an opportunity to via for the highest crown in the X-WA, The X Championship. After being forced to go through both Acid, and his recent ally Jack Griffith, Marquez was hoping to receive a sense of "clean competition" at "eXtreme Decimation", however, that was certainly not the case. As Marquez was on the verge of executing his signature "Vicente Spike" (Brainbuster DDT)... Jack Griffith, his Arch-Rival in the X-WA since February 2008, was seen interfering with a steel chair... Inevitably, Slowing down Marquez's momentum. Despite Griffith being thrown out of the ringside area, and seeing an attack by the "Acid Impostor" upon the real Acid, Marquez was unable to overcome the odds... Falling victim to the most dominant figure in X-WA History, and still X-WA X Champion, Acid.

Angle of the Month: Nemesis is laid out by a Mystery Attacker

Reason: What happens when you awake a sleeping giant? Destruction.... That's what tends to follow. This couldn't have been more true as the recently composed X-WA Owner, Nemesis, was forced back into an ultra-aggressive, violent-minded, individual with nothing but pure hatred fueling his recent transformation. He's been subjected to three sneak attacks by a mysterious figure whose identity is unknown... And on every occasion, The X-WA Owner was absolutely floored in the process. This last week on "Thursday Night Blitzkrieg" we were all witnesses to the fact that this mysterious attacker has some sort of connection to William Kingsbury III as he rushed in on Kingsbury's match with Nemesis. With a DQ being declared, The mysterious figure, Kingsbury, and Kingsburry's bodyguard Vladimir were all seen, once again, laying out the X-WA Owner. As we transition from one month to the next his identity is still unknown, however, with every week it seems that there is new information brought to the forefront.

Trio of the Month: "The Way of OTA" (Fumihiro Ota, Jay Chord, and Mikkel Drago)

Reason: "The Circus" has had a strangle hold on this award ever since the X-WA's first month of action, however, June was truly the time frame for the developing "Way of OTA" Trio. Led by "Superstar of the Month", and notable Educator, Fumihiro Ota... This triumphant Trio is on a fast track towards the X-WA Six Man Championship with an astounding 3-0 record in June 2008. Many believe that the Warrior-Trio could eventually do something no other Trio has ever done in the X-WA.... Take the Title Belts away from the demonic "Circus".

Disappointment of the Month: American Elemental

Reason: A 1-4 record would be enough to sink anyone's month, however, the real reason AE ended up with this unwanted win was due to his in-ring performances as of late. He didn't click with Ultimate Phoenix, was "off his game" in the Arena Championship Three-way at "eXtreme Decimation", and always seems to be on the verge of injury. He's highly regarded as someone who could POTENTIALLY be only a few big wins away from the Main Event in the X-WA, however, his recent string of underwhelming matches have called his consistency into question.

As stated above, the USPW and X-WA are close in popularity levels at this point... however, they trump me in prestige. I thought about declaring war on them just for the fun of it... One company... Focused on "dark cult like entertainment using young fliers to shock the industry".... The other... "A company built upon the veterans of the industry using slower in-ring styles and ultimately being family friendly". How couldn't that war be fun? ha.
