Derek B
Tournaments are a great way to give 7 (or 3) people no momentum, gotta love them.
Tag01
Tournaments are a great way to give 7 (or 3) people no momentum, gotta love them. That's my thought, too. I'd like to see an increase in pop to make it worthwhile. Although having a bunch of nobodies fight it out to create one prospect is a good idea. mickel
I'll still probably do tournaments over multiple events much more than I will one night tournaments. That way you don't have 7 guys all out of momentum at the same time, and it makes the contracts much easier to manage.
samuricex
I'll do 4-man tourneys to finish off my grand prixs. I'm going to stay away from 8-man tournaments though (I might start a company based on "YAMMA" for fun though...).
grits207
The only time I use tournaments is when I don't have any real contenders for a title. For example in my current game nobody is popular enough to challenge Sean Morrison for the LW title so I am going to book a tournament and hopefully the winner will become popular enough that he can challenge. The Authority
I only book tournaments using guys who are yet to debut, or a group of guys on losing streaks / losses. Sure, you end up with 3 (or 7) people on bad momentum and one with great momentum, but thats one more than you had before I *always* have the first round (whether 4 or 8 man) as prelims though... Blackman
It's the prestige, damnit. Prestige!!!! Honour!!!! He won a frickin' tournament.
The Authority
I'm planning on experimenting with a tournament only company some time down the line. It will be tough I reckon but interesting to see if I can make it work given the obvious momentum constraints.
