21st Century Wrestling debuted in 2001 with a high-flying, action-oriented product. Although a critical success with journalists and tape traders, commercially they were a huge flop and struggled badly.

In September 2006, on the brink of bankruptcy, they were taken over by UK celebrity Jeff Nova. His vision was to take the Sports Entertainment style that had made the SWF a global power and give it a uniquely English twist. He used his fame to get them a TV deal, gave the promotion a virtual makeover, and the result was a complete change in fortunes.

Since then, the promotion has gone from strength to strength, and for the first time ever the UK has a promotion that has the potential to make a genuine impact on world wrestling.

"What a way to close the year we have for you!"

"That's right, a championship match between bitter rivals Pit Bull Brown and the 21st Century World Champion Jonathan Faust right here on free TV!"

"Here we go!"

The two top-stars of 21CW lock horns in the final match of 2007, the boiling point finally culminating after nearly 5 months of Faust ducking Pit Bull Brown. They engaged in what was without a doubt the most dramatic wrestling match in the history of the sport in the UK, back-and-forth they went with the fans completely behind Pit Bull Brown. However when Brown was lining up Faust for his finishing move, Faust rolled out of the ring and the referee counted him out! The fans booed such an anti-climatic finish until Jeff Nova arrived and restarted the contest as a no-holds-barred, falls count anywhere match!

The action quickly spilled to the outside where Faust repeatedly slammed Pit Bull's head against the barricade, Brown came back though and smashed Faust's head off the steel ring post with a dull thud sounding through-out the arena. Pit Bull then cleared off the announce table and set up Faust for a Dog's House Piledriver through the table, however Faust countered the move and landed the Devil's Drop, driving Pit Bull through the table! The fans booed loudly as Faust pinned Pit Bull Brown and successfully defended his title.

As Faust exited the arena, Pit Bull entered the ring looking dejected. The fans gave him a standing ovation before he finally exited the arena himself.

OOC: 21CW is probably the hardest fed in TEW to run, being based on popularity only at Cult level without any stars is definitely a unique challenge. Basically, I've taken Pit Bull Brown and made him a user character if you're wondering what the first post was about, also there won't be much backstage stuff in this dynasty just shows and news reports mainly.
