Next Level Fights - The Start Of A New Tradition

Recommended Posts

Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports:

Local man Don Hughes, a recent winner of the Pennsylvania Lottery $30 million dollar jackpot, has announced at a press conference held yesterday that he will be opening a new MMA promotion to try and bring the sport more into a national limelight.

Next Level Fights is the name given to the promotion. No MMA fights or cards have yet to be announced, however Don stated at the press conference that the goal of this promotion is simply to be the top promotion in the industry, while at the same time finding out just who the top fighters are in the world.

"With a $30 million dollar jackpot behind this, people will not have to worry about whether we will be around for a short time or a long time," said Hughes after a question about the longevity of this project.

"All people will have to worry about is if their predictions are right or not. We want to house the best fighters in the world. With the financial backing, we are confident that better and better fighters will try to test their skills here. All fans will have to worry about is how to get to the arena on time."

Rumors are spreading as to who they will sign, when the first show will be, and if this promotion will be another flash in the pan, or as Don has predicted, "THE START OF A NEW TRADITION."

Notes: Can Dominic Ash keep his undefeated streak alive against Ian Linderman, who is coming off a victory? Detroit vs. Hyde should be an exciting fight with two undefeated fighters looking to keep the streak alive. Wilson Franklyn vs. Nash Carbane is shaping up to be a slugfest, with a street fighter vs. a bar room brawler.

PREDICTIONS ARE WELCOME< BUT THIS SHOW MAY BE UP VERY SOON. IF SO, I SHOULD LEAVE A LITTLE MORE TIME FOR PREDICTIONS.
