TNA: The end marks a new Beginning

Recommended Posts

No real backstory here. Just myself booking this as i see it should be. I will jump right into the first week of April. So starting right off it'll look a little different from the current TNA. But not by much.

***Breaking News*** TNA Management has handed over booking duties to a new man. No word on who this could be just yet, though rumors are circling that it could be Bischoff, Heyman, Flair, Gabe, or potentiolly someone new. More to come as it becomes available.

Well, here i sat with my notebook in front of me and my laptop opened. I had a roster already filled yet i wasn't satisfied. I thought to myself i could make this whole product better with several additions and subtractions. I got on the phone with Jarrett to go over my ideas for the Lockdown PPV. The biggest one, ending this stupid MEM storyline. After talking to Jeff for several hours, i felt much better that he was on board for TNA's new direction. Next was making some calls for talent to enter TNA.

Well it was my first ever Monday down at Orlando. I thought first things first, address my new family. I called in all the production staff, wrestlers, refs, and the announcers. I introduced myself to them and gave a quick speech of how i was here to help raise TNA to the next level. Afterwards, Jeff and myself sat with all five members of the MEM. We told them our ideas for the stable.

TNA Breaking news

Suicide has been released by TNA. This is the first of what is highly being considered a spring cleaning in TNA. What's odd about this move is Suicide was the X Division champion. It will be interesting to see how this pans out in the coming weeks for TNA.

TNA News for Week 1 of April

TNA's first Impact! under new booking brought in a rating of 1.33.

TNA has come to terms with a former ECW and WWE Heavyweight champion. They have also signed former WWE star Elijah Burke to a multi year deal. He is expected to debut in the company within the coming weeks.

TNA mobile sent word earlier today that TNA had signed former tag team champions. No word on who they might be though. Many are speculating it to be Cade and Murdoch.

TNAwrestling.com announced earlier this week that Petey Williams had resigned with the promotion on Monday. Petey was a fan favorite in TNA mostly for his devasting finisher, the Canadien Destroyer.

Also, Sean Waltman himself is reporting he signed a deal with TNA. TNA although has yet to comment on such a deal to have taken place.

Jeff Jarrett was interviewed in the UK sun yesterday. He promised that the X division would take center stage again this summer with many new and noticable faces coming to TNA. As for the Knockout's division Jarrett said "We are continuing to build this division as best we can. These ladies aren't just another pretty face. They aren't afraid to break a bone, or drop a little blood. And with that, i am glad to say that i am in the final stages of contract talks with one of the biggest female wrestlers out there. Hopefully i will have something soon on that." Lastly Jarrett commented on TNA's Tag team picture. " We have some of the best tag teams out there. L.A.X., Team 3-D, Motor City Machine Guns, and of course the TNA Tag Team Champions, Beer Money Inc. But it doesn't just end there. We need to continue to grow all of the divisions in TNA or we will end up stale like our compitition. And it's because of that we announced earler this week of a new team coming into TNA."

With all these new signings one can only assume many TNA staff will be given pink slips in the coming weeks.

He gets right into it asking Foley what he thought of Jarrett’s announcement last week of TNA management being banned from wrestling after Lockdown. Foley is silent for a moment before answering. He tells Tenay he has been thinking of this all week. He wasn’t happy how Jarrett decided this without discussing it. He starts to yell at Tenay telling him what does a man do in a case like this? How can you work with partners who don’t respect your own opinion. What is the purpose of him being part owner? To put his money in this for Jarrett’s own ideas? Foley gets up and walks off.

Beer Money Inc. VS LAX

LAX are a great team along with Beer Money. A title change on Impact to the Latin American Exhange would be a good shocker.

Taylor Wilde and Roxxi VS The Beautiful People

As much as i love Roxxi i have to love the Beautiful People even more. Sky and Love are the best thing to happen to womens wrestling in a long time

Abyss VS Kurt Angle

Kurt is way to over to loose to Abyss, i think he would need more build up before he gets a win over Angle

Rhino VS Matt Morgan

Cant say i have taken to morgan, he's to "WWE" all size and no tallent. Plus Rhino is the Extreme War Machine

Cliff Compton VS BG James

Cliff is a great tallent and totally under utalised in WWE. would be nice to see if you had big plans for him

Sting, Booker T, and Scott Steiner VS AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Jeff Jarrett

You got me torn on this one. The MEM are huge and would be like the pack of wolfs taking down Styles, Joe and Jarrett but i think it might be nice to see the MEM take a beating for once.

Following the tapings for this weeks show, the new booker held a small meeting with the staff. He announced his displeasure over the quality matches the last two weeks. He told all the wrestlers he is giving them the benifit of the doubt for now. For that, he has hired two new road agents to help out with the matches. He introduces them to Sgt. Slaughter and Stan Hansen. He tells the wrestlers that if the matches don't improve by Lockdown, he will be doing some Spring cleaning.

Last week Beer Money Inc. cheap shotted LAX before their title match last week. On the web show following Impact! Jim Cornette announced that Beer Money Inc. would defend the titles against LAX. This week, Hernadez will take on Robert Roode. And Homicide and James Sorm are banned from ringside for the evening. This means neither can come out before, during, or after the match. This will give one team a clear advantage going into Lockdown.</p><p> </p><p>

Stevie Richards and Matt Morgan have been at eachother's throats for weeks. With just one week left till Lockdown what will happen between these two? Can they survive till then or will volcano erupt before hand?</p><p> </p><p>

World Heavyweight champion Sting is one week away from his biggest title defence yet. But before he can defend the title he has a match against Cute Kip of the Beautiful People. Will he make it to Lockdown in one peace? Will Rhino try to get the upper hand? Will his fellow MEM friends have his back?</p><p> </p><p>

Taylor Wilde is set to challenge Awesome Kong for the knockout's title. Thursday she will get a huge shot at weakening Kong as she and Roxxi will go 2 on 1 against Kong. </p><p> </p><p>

Thursday Bashir and Waltman collided last week and things aren't getting any cooler between the two. Jim Cornette has decided they will take part in a match on Impact with the winning team getting to be in the title match at Lockdown. </p><p> </p><p>

The newest knockout, Amy Dumas debuts Thursday. What will she have to say? Will she challenge for the Knockout's title? </p><p> </p><p>

The TNA Originals are complete. With Foley joining his partner in ownership, Jarrett, they are now five men strong. And they will look to cripple Main Event Mafia when the two take on the two final healthy members in Booker T and Scott Steiner. Or will Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash appear, and if so will they be cleared for Lockdown? All this and much more on Thursday's Impact!</p>

The three continue laying into Jarrett. The cameras cut backstage where we see MEM has locked AJ and Samoa Joe's locker room door. Abysshand cuffed to fork lift. Back in the ring Kurt Angle makes his way down to the ring. The four pose over the down and out Jarrett. Foley grabs a mic and tells everyone he did make the right choice. He sold his shares of TNA and signed a contract he made up before selling his shares. As of tonight, he is TNA's newest wrestler. He hands the mic to Angle. Angle says Main Event Mafia just got stronger. As of right now, it's an even playing ground. 4-4. As far as they are concerned. They have their side all set. Just then the lights go off and church bells begin to play. Thunder and Lighting start and fog appears around the ring. The big screen starts flickering and then the symbol of the Fallen Angel appears. Afterwards the screen says at Lockdown Main Event Mafia will ask for forgiveness at the hands of the Fallen Angel.

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Main Event Mafia VS The TNA Originals</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

For the last month Jeff Jarrett and the Originals have been at it with The Main Event Mafia. With the announcement of any and all management would no longer be allowed to wrestle in TNA due to insurance reasons, it seemed like Mick Foley and JEff Jarrett would end their relationship as TNA co-owners. That changed when Foley came to the rescue of Jarrett two weeks ago. With the injury sustained from Abyss that same week to Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash still out from a staff infection, the MEM were on the verge of complete colapse. So the two co-workers set to finish the job and destroy Booker T and Scott Steiner. However Mick Foley turned on Jarrett aligning himself with MEM and he followed suit by dropping a bomb shell on the wrestling world. He sold his shares in the company and signed a contract made by himself to become a full time wrestler. all seemed well to end the show as Angle made a surprise return to give MEM the edge. However just as the show was coming to a close the force from a greater power above was felt as the Fallen Angel gave warning that MEM will be looking for fogiveness at Lockdown.</p><p> </p><p>

TNA knockout "The Governor"'s official contract expired following the PPV. TNA chose not to renew her deal which is possibly part of the upcoming TNA cost cuts. More to follow as we get it.

Buy rates for TNA: Lockdown were 4.06.

Thr word going around right now is that RVD and Sting will headline Slammaversary. Jarrett and the booking commitee wanted to bring in a big name for one of their biggest events of the year.

There are huge rumors going around that thier is a huge announcement in TNA that will be made in the next two weeks. It's even possible they may wait to give it away until Sacrifice.
