Faith narrowly beats Frehley, and then Vengeance appears, laying an epic beating on the champion. Angry Gilmore hits the ring and makes the save, much to the confusion of all. Fry: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the H. Jones Building, this is SWF Supreme TV, I’m Duane Fry, and this is Phil Vibert. Vibert: I’ve got to wonder how we’re going to top last week’s pay per view, but we’re going to give it a shot. Fry: We’ve got Christian Faith in action tonight, in a non-title match, against a mystery opponent. Vibert: Who could it be? (Rating: B+) Backstage, there is, strangely enough, a camera waiting in the parking lot. Suddenly, a large purple bus arrives, and the crowd goes completely mad. Fry: Oh my god... Vibert: It can’t be... Fry: But that is... Vibert: It is... Fry: That’s the Showtime Tour Bus! Vibert: Could Jack Bruce be here tonight? Fry: That is his bus, Phil. Vibert: You don’t think... He could be Faith’s opponent! Fry: I have no idea. Splat. (Rating: C) *Break* Ana Garcia is in the interview area with Christian Faith, who is pacing backwards and forwards. “Mr Faith, tonight you-“ Faith cuts her off. “Don’t... Just don’t.” He stops pacing. “I have enough to worry about tonight, without you putting in your two cents worth.” He runs his hands through his hair. “I have a match tonight, against a mystery opponent. I’m completely in the dark.” He pauses. “Vengeance is still out for my blood. He wants this title as badly as anyone.” He pauses again. “I’ve got all this crap with Angry Gilmore to sort out. What the hell was he doing Thursday night?” “Saving you?” Garcia says. Faith glares at the reporter, who doesn’t even flinch. “And to top it all off, we’ve got... We’ve got Jack Bruce’s tour bus in the back.” Faith starts pacing again, as the crowd pops. “There you have it folks, the World Heavyweight Champion is scared of Jack Bru-“ Faith knocks the microphone out of Garcia’s hand. “What did you just say?” He demands, towering over Ana Garcia, who looks nervous now. “Scared? I’ll show you scared. Tonight, I’m going to go out and destroy whoever I get in the ring with. I don’t care if it’s Angry Gilmore, I don’t care if it’s Vengeance, and I especially don’t care if it’s Jack Bruce. I’m not scared of anyone. Because I ... have ... The match mostly seems to showcase the Latin Love-God, who wrestles his A-game, pinning James Hernandez. (Rating: D+) *Break* Backstage, Champagne Lover, Nicolas Lopez and Gino Montero approach Blonde Bombshell, who is backstage in a short skirt and crop top. “Mamacita, did you see us out there?” Lopez asks. “We did it all for you.” Gino adds. BB rolls her eyes, and starts filing her nails. “Hey, guys, lay off. This one’s mine.” Lover says. “No way homes, you have to share.” Montero says. “Yeah esse, there’s plenty to go around.” Lopez adds, as the two begin advancing on Bombshell. Bombshell tries to pull away, but Lopez grabs her arm. “We’re gonna have a lot of fun.” “Yeah, you’re gonna feel the latino heat.” Montero says. Bombshell struggles to get free. “Let me go!” She shouts. “No way, we’-“ Lopez doesn’t finish his sentence, as Champagne Lover delivers a knockout blow to his countryman. Montero takes one look at Nicolas Lopez sprawled out on the floor, looks up at the furious Champagne Lover, and decides to make a run for it. “My lady.” Champagne Lover bends to kiss Bombshell’s hand, before walking away. BB watches as he leaves, shaking her head in disbelief. (Rating: C-) In an undisclosed, and dark, location, Vengeance addresses a camera. “Angry Gilmore wishes to get involved in my business? Christian Faith’s title, his career, his life, all belong to me. Angry Gilmore, by getting in my way, you have made your life forfeit. Vengeance shall rain down on you like a fire from the heavens. Run to the hills. Zimmy puts Jones away with a Bumfhole-In-One. (Rating: D-) After the match, the Bumfholes grab microphones. “Again, we prove that we are the best tag team in the world today.” Randy says, simply. “We have beaten every team in this company, every worthwhile team in the world.” Zimmy adds. “We have held these titles for six months, and in 2005 and 2006, we held them for over a year. We are one of the greatest SWF Tag Teams ever.” Randy says, to a pop. “But on Thursday, thanks to some interference, we lost.” Zimmy says, and the crowd boos. “Vengeance decided to attack our opponents, giving them the disqualification.” Randy says. “So we’re here to right a wrong. So, in a few weeks time, we want to give Too Precious another shot at these titles.” “So at SWF Times of Trouble, it’s The Amazing Bumfholes versus Too Precious, one more time, for the SWF Tag Team Championships.” “Don’t get any ideas though, Randy and I still don’t like you guys. We just like Vengeance less.” (Rating: C-) *Break* Christian Faith is in Richard Eisen’s office. “Richard, you’ve got to help me out. You have to tell me if it’s him.” Faith begs. “Getting a little scared, are we?” Eisen asks, coolly. “I’m not scared of anyone!” Faith replies. “Then it doesn’t matter if your opponent is on that bus. It doesn’t even matter if it’s Jack Bruce.” Richard says. “That’s not the point. It’s not fair for my opponent to know who I am going into this match, but I have no idea who he is.” Faith argues. “That’s the gimmick of a mystery opponent match, Christian. I suggest you go out to that ring and wait for your opponent.” Eisen says. Faith looks angry, but sighs and heads for the door. “Oh, Champ. One more thing.” Eisen says. Faith turns to face Eisen. “What?” “It’s SHOWTIME!” Eisen says, before laughing, as the crowd pops. (Rating: B+) As Faith leaves with a scowl on his face, Angry Gilmore pushes past. “Tom, what do you want?” Eisen asks. “Vengeance.” Angry Gilmore says. “What?” Richard is shocked. “I want Vengeance. Tonight.” Gilmore says. “Why would anyone want to get in the ring with Vengeance, especially when he wants your head?” Eisen asks. “I have been wallowing in the midcards for too long. I came back with a mission. To cleanse the SWF of all evils. Instead, I have been fighting guys who haven’t been relevant in years, or rookies. How can I save your company, if you don’t let me combat the evil?” Gilmore asks. “So you think Vengeance is evil, not just insane?” Eisen asks. “Of course Vengeance is evil, but that’s not the point. Vengeance is a stepping-stone. If I defeat Vengeance, that has to put me in line for a match with the true darkness in the SWF...” “Who?” “The SWF World Heavyweight Champion. Christian Faith.” Eisen smiles. “You want Vengeance? You’ve got him. Tonight’s main event. For the #1 Contendership at Times of Trouble.” “Thank you sir. I just hope Vengeance is ready to be saved.” (Rating: B) *Break* In the parking lot again, outside the Showtime Tour Bus, Dharma Gregg is waiting for someone to emerge. The door opens, and the crowd goes wild. “Oh my god it’s him... It’s...” Dharma starts gushing. An all-too familiar figure steps out, and the crowd starts to laugh. “Robbie Retro.” Dharma sounds disappointed. Tuesday Night Fever is on his cell phone. “Thanks for the loaner dude, I can’t believe my Love Bug broke down. I’ll totally repay the favour some time.” He says, before noticing the camera, and Dharma Gregg. “Gotta go Jack, my public awaits.” He hangs up. “Robbie Retro... You’re Christian Faith’s opponent tonight?” Dharma asks, incredulously. “Robbie Retro is indeed going to in a fight against Christian Faith tonight under those bright, bright lights.” Retro affirms, before busting a move, doing the Cossack dance. “Right... But you decided to arrive in Jack Bruce’s tour bus... Psychological warfare?” “Robbie Retro doesn’t need any tricks to win a match. The Love Bug got a work-out last night, if you know what I mean. And what’s Tuesday Night Fever without a set of wheels? So Robbie Retro made some calls, and got the sweetest ride in town. Now, if you’ll excuse me, Robbie Retro has a match to win.” Retro gives his trademark scream. Order is restored, and Faith goes back on the offense. The match is quite back-and-forth, but Faith always manages to get control back. Retro puts in a good showing, perhaps a little better than their last outing, but in the end, as always, Faith comes out on top, following Machine Gun Faith Hammers. (Rating: B) Christian Faith grabs a microphone. “Jack Bruce! You think you can scare me!?” He demands, and the crowd pops. “You send your little buddy here out in your bus to try to psyche me out? Well it’s not working. I don’t care when you come or where you come from, I’m gonna be ready. And then I’m gonna finish what I started, and end your career for good. Have faith in that!” Faith is livid. (Rating: B+) *Break* Backstage, Ana Garcia is standing by with Rich Money, who has a huge smirk on his face. “Rich Money, last week you attacked your best friend during his match for the North American Championship... The people want to know... Why?” Garcia asks. Money laughs. “The people? What the hell do I care about what the people want? But I will take this time to explain my actions. You see Ana, Remo is an ingrate. I handed him everything. His career. His lifestyle. His stardom. All I asked was that he help me stay at the top. But he didn’t, did he? He struck out on his own. And look what it got hi-“ (Rating: B) Rich Money doesn’t get to finish the interview, because he gets tackled by Remo, who begins laying in punches, as he mounts his former partner’s chest. Security fights to pry him away, dragging him offscreen. Rich Money gets to his feet, straightens his suit, and smirks again. “You will pay richly for that.” (Rating: B) Eric Eisen is in his swanky locker-room, when he finds a note taped to his bag. He picks it up, and reads it, his face contorting into fear, before he rushes out the door. Fry: What the hell was that about? Vibert: Do I look like a mind reader to you? (Rating: B+) *Break* Eric Eisen has found Runaway Train, and shows him the note. Train shrugs. “I want you with me at all times.” Eisen orders. “Fine.” Train grunts. “If that psycho has hired someone to take me out, I want you ready to fight him.” “The Guru isn’t a threat.” Train says. “But his new client is.” Eisen warns. “We’ll see.” Train laughs. Score one for SWF in the Tuesday Night Wars. In the ring, outside the ring, in the crowd. Brawling, wrestling, flying. This match has everything. The crowd are into it from bell-to-bell. Until the ending. A particularly lengthy brawl on the outside leads to a double count-out, much to the disappointment of everyone in the arena. (Rating: B) Richard Eisen appears on screen. “Like I would let it all end like that. I still need a main event for Times of Trouble.” Eisen says, and the crowd pops. “So at Times of Trouble, it’s going to be Christian Faith” The crowd boos. “Defending his SWF World Heavyweight Championship against...” “... VENGEANCE!” Eisen says, and the crowd gives a mild pop. Gilmore looks... Angry. “And Angry Gilmore!” The crowd goes insane. “In a Three-Fold Threat Match!” Eisen finishes. Vibert: Two #1 Contenders? That’s not fair on Faith. Fry: Who cares? He deserves it. Vibert: That’s hardly balanced commentary now, is it?
