USPW: American Made

Recommended Posts

Damn it. I missed that one and didn't realise it until after it was posted. Anyway, good show. Interesting to read about some of the wrestlers. And I'm definitely looking forward to see what you can do with the Breeze. Also, what that card said to me was that you definitely need a better midcard to challenge Parker for that title.

USPW's Freedom Fight has come to an end and what a show it was! T-Rex remains the USPW World Champion and he will be in action tonight, one night after defending his belt, as he takes on Anger in a non title affair.

Bruce The Giant pinned James Justice last night and evened the score at one match apiece. Tonight both men will be in the building as both men are in action! Bruce takes on one half of the USPW World Tag Team Champions Captain USA and James takes on rival Peter Valentine!

Sam Strong has promised a very special international opponent tonight for The Future Steven Parker and his USPW World Television Title. Who will it be? Tune in and find out!

Plus more action!

Thanks for the comment! I can definitely agree on needing to build up the midcard some more and that will hopefully be coming soon over the next few months as challengers are made for Steven Parker. I am just hoping that he's not going to be stolen any time soon. lol.

Wednesday Week 1 April

[The show last night had been a success though not as much of a success as I would have liked it to be. It seems like USPW is in a stagnant state. It's not getting any better or any worse. And the meeting between Sam Strong and myself was held within his office at the West Texas Coliseum before the USPW American Wrestling show tonight and had gotten heated early.]

Sam Strong

"Look, Jack, we haven't changed USPW at all since it's inception.

Jack Avatar

"And that's the problem, Sam. We haven't changed the company at all to move up with the times. Our closest competition right now in the United States is Richard. I consider him our closest competition because his group is the closest to what we perform. And I hate to say it but right now we cannot be better than him. And if we're not better than him then it means we're worse than him and that's just not acceptable. We could change our focus toward being more like TCW but again we cannot do things better than them right now. So with Richard and Tommy holding the reigns up above, we have to be different from them."

Sam Strong

"So what are you proposing, Jack?"

Jack Avatar

"I am proposing that we be different from what both Tommy and Richard are doing. We get a mix of the two federations in here. It will keep guys like Bruce and James and T-Rex on top with their popularity and gimmicks but also allow some of our lower card guys to shine out with their performance ability. The crowd will start enjoying some of our matches a little more and some won't be that slow paced old school style we use for all of our matches right now. All I am asking is that you give it a chance. Let me run it for the rest of the year and if things haven't improved you can either fire me or we can make moves back toward where we have been."

Sam Strong

"I will think about it. We have a card already set for tonight, though, and I don't expect any changes to it."

Jack Avatar

"Of course not. But next week we have a 'Best of...' show scheduled in place of our normal show so that would be the perfect timing to make some changes is following that show."

Sam Strong

"Let me think about it tonight and we'll see."

[i nodded and I am of the hope that he will let me update our product to better fit the world, especially with the economy and wrestling industry down in the dumps right now. We need all the help we can get.]

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 1 April 2008

Location: West Texas Coliseum

Attendance: 2,000

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: .47

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SamStrong.jpg

[The show opens up backstage where James 'Liberty' Justice has just arrived here in the building, sporting street clothes at the moment though he has a match later on tonight. Sam Strong approaches him...]

Sam Strong

"James, James!

[James ignores Sam's words and brushes right by him, obviously upset about how things turned out last night at USPW's Freedom Fight where he lost to Bruce The Giant. Sam looks a little hurt at James' attitude and the cameras cut to the ring.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/StevenParker.jpg

USPW World Television Title Match

Steven Parker defends vs. ???

[The USPW World Television Champion Steven Parker walks out to 'Right Now' by Van Halen. Parker enters the ring and stretches and waits to see just who his mystery opponent is. 'Living In America' by James Brown plays as Sam Strong walks out to the top of the ramp.]

Sam Strong

"I wanted to do this introduction personally, Steven. Introducing to the crowd, your opponent for tonight: all the way from Pride, Glory, Honor, Wrestling and formerly of D.A.V.E.: Bryan Holmes!"

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BryanHolmes.jpg

[The crowd cheers for Holmes as he walks out, shakes hands with Sam Strong and then charges the ring!

The match was not as good as some people had hoped because these two just did not click within the ring. Holmes dominated the early-goings of the bout with some fine technical wrestling but Steven Parker fought back and showed why he is the USPW World Television Champion. The Future went for the Future Shock but it was reversed by Holmes! Holmes went for the Cyclone Shock Kick but Parker dodged it and rolled out of the ring. Parker grabbed his USPW World Television Title belt and walked up the rampway to boos from the crowd as referee Jez McArthuer had no choice but to count the Champion out.]

Winner: Bryan Holmes (by countout)

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[The crowd booed as 'A Welcome Burden' by Disturbed began to play and Shane Sneer led out his charge: Bruce The Giant to the ring. Bruce stepped over the top rope to enter the ring and crossed his arms across his chest as Shane Sneer got a microphone.]

Shane Sneer

"First of all, you humanoids need to shut your mouths and show the proper respect to a man of his stature."

[The boos got even louder at that.]

Shane Sneer

"I told each and every one of you that last night my Bruce The Giant was going to defeat James Justice and guess what? He did! James Justice is truthfully no match for this man right here. He's yesterday's news while Bruce here is on the front page of today's paper! Like him or not, it doesn't really matter, does it? You have to respect him. And today James Justice is off pouting because he beat. James, any time you want a rematch, any time you want to be defeated by Bruce again let me know and it will happen. And you will be beaten. You can take that to the bank!"

['A Welcome Burden' kicked up again and Shane escorted Bruce to the back without incident.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LarryWood.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DesDavids_alt2.jpg

Larry Wood vs. Des Davids

['Monster' by Disturbed kicks up and The Mountain Man Larry Wood comes walking out from the back, yelling at the fans and kicking the guardrail. He enters the ring and begins gnawing on the turnbuckles as he waits for his opponent. 'Run To The Playoffs' by NFL Network overlaps 'Monster' and Des Davids comes out from the back, walking right to the ring.

Without a doubt, the fans did NOT care for this matchup one bit. Larry Wood used his psychology to try to get the fans involved some but they weren't having any of it! Des Davids made his comeback and he hit Wood with the Quarterback Sack to get the pinfall and the upset victory!]

Winner: Des Davids (by pinfall)

Match Rating: E

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ErnieTurner_alt7.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MadmanBoone_alt1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PlayboyJakeSawyer_F3.jpg

Ernie Turner vs. Madman Boone

['Batman theme' brings out Ernie Turner to a few scattered cheers from the crowd as he plays up to them a little bit and shakes hands with someone, having a joy buzzer on his hand. He slides inside the ring and waits for his opponent. 'Re: Your Brains' by Johnathan Coulton brings out Madman Boone and Playboy Jake Sawyer stumbling and shambling down to the ring. Madman slides inside and Ernie goes right after him.

This match was a little better than the last one but not by much as the fans really didn't care for things either way. The worst things that fans can do to a match is sit on their hands and do nothing. Boone hit Turner with the Boone And Bust and got the three count.]

Winner: Madman Boone (by pinfall)

Match Rating: E+

[but things were not over in the ring. The crowd gasped as someone else came stumbling down the aisle...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun_alt7.jpg

[it's Freddie Datsun! Datsun does NOT look happy. Actually, he looks like he's hurting! Madman Boone and Playboy Jake see him coming and escape through the crowd as though they are afraid of him! Datsun chases them through the crowd.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/T-Rex_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JumboJackson_alt4.jpg

[A video plays showing highlights of last night's Freedom Fight matchup between T-Rex and Jumbo Jackson with T-Rex getting the win after interference by Shane Sneer]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/T-Rex_alt1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DemonAnger.jpg

Non Title:

T-Rex vs. Anger

['Come As You Are' by Nirvana brings out the former Demon Anger. He walks out to the ring to some boos from the crowd and then slumps in a corner while he waits for the arrival of his opponent. The crowd cheers as the music changes to 'Bad To The Bone' by George Thurogood and the Destroyers and they sing along as the Jurassic Power T-Rex walks out to the ring.

Anger got in a few shots early on in the match but as everyone would guess, T-Rex dominated the match for the most part. He threw Anger around with several different suplex variations and looked like he was proving why he is the USPW World Champion. Even a distraction by the presence of Jumbo Jackson and Shane Sneer cannot stop him and he eventually hooks Anger with the Jurassic Crush and gets the submission.]

Winner: T-Rex (by submission)

Match Rating: D+

[He throws down Anger and challenges Jumbo to get in the ring with him. Jumbo moves to do so but he is held back by Shane Sneer! Sneer shakes his head and whispers in Jumbo's ear. Jumbo just smiles and drops off the apron and the two walk away without incident to boos from the crowd.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/KatieCameron.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg

[The cameras focus backstage and the interview area where Katie Cameron is standing by with Steve Flash.]

Katie Cameron

"My client would like to inform the world that he is issuing a challenge to Peter Valentine for next month's pay-per-view card in a one on one matchup. He would also like to inform Peter Valentine that Valentine can choose the stipulations for the match so long as Valentine agrees to face him. Peter, the ball is in your court."

[Katie nods and Steve smiles and the fade is back to the ring.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CaptainUSA.jpg

Bruce The Giant vs. Captain USA

['Born In The USA' by Bruce Springsteen brings out the Captain to cheers and chants of 'USA, USA, USA!' The crowd is on their feet! Then those chants turn to boos as 'A Welcome Burden' by Disturbed brings out the Captain's opponent Bruce The Giant alongside his manager Shane Sneer!

Bruce The Giant taking on one half of the USPW World Tag Team Champions here tonight. Captain put up a good fight, especially in the beginning but once Bruce caught the advantage it was all Bruce The Giant. Captain sold really well for him though as the two have excellent chemistry in the ring together. Bruce eventually dropped the Captain with a Giant Choke Slam and a foot on the chest signalled the victory.]

Winner: Bruce The Giant (by pinfall)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine.jpg

[The crowd cheered as the split-screen showed the two competitors for our main event tonight! That match is next!]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PeterValentine.jpg

James Justice vs. Peter Valentine

[shane Sneer remained down at ringside and joined the commentary team for the main event matchup. 'Sharp Dressed Man' by ZZ Top brought out Peter Valentine to boos from the crowd and when he reached the ringside area, he shook hands with Shane Sneer before entering the ring...

"Miracle man ... Your miracle man ... Your Miracle man ... Your..."

The crowd rose in cheers as 'Save Me' by Overkill began to play and Liberty James Justice came out, listening to that wonderful ovation from the crowd. He headed right down to the ring and slid inside, climbing a turnbuckle and pumping his fists to the crowd before jawing at Shane Sneer, who said that Justice better focus his attentions on his opponent in the ring.

The match was not as good as their previous bouts but still an average match here on USPW American Wrestling. James Justice took the early advantage and sent Peter Valentine flying out of the ring and played to the crowd some more before Valentine made his way back into the ring and Valentine took control, working over the arm of Justice. The next several minutes had Valentine in control, working over the former Champion. He locked in a cross arm breaker but Justice would not give up! The hold was held for about a minute before Valentine broke it and made a cover:

1...

2...

KICKOUT!

The crowd tried to rally behind James Justice at that point and eventually Justice took the control back, hitting Valentine with a German Suplex - no bridge, all impact! Justice took down Valentine with a Spinebuter and then moved around, getting the crowd's approval before he bounced off the ropes and dropped the DUDE Knee Drop! He made a cover:

1...

2...

KICKOUT!

Valentine with a big kickout but Justice remained in control. Justice sent Valentine into a corner and followed him in - CORNER SPLASH - Valentine moved and the referee was caught in the middle! Referee Jez McArthuer goes down in pain and Justice checks on him for a moment. Valentine catches Justice with a clothesline to the back of the head as Shane Sneer leaves the commentary table. He climbs up on the apron with his shoe in hand! Valentine pulls up Justice and moves him over, holding him by the arms. Sneer swings - DUCKED BY JUSTICE! Shane Sneer hit Peter Valentine with the shoe! Liberty Big Left Hand by James Justice sends Sneer off the apron and Justice turns around, grabbing Valentine - LIBERATION SLAM! He wakes up the referee and makes the cover:

1...

2...

3!!]

Winner: James Justice (by pinfall)

Match Rating: C

[bruce The Giant comes charging down to the ring, first checking on Shane Sneer and then releasing a roar as he looks up toward James Justice...]

Sam Strong

"Stop right there! If either of the two of you touch each other, then you're gonna be suspended! Next week, we have a 'Best of...' show but in two weeks we are going to have the match of a lifetime. We are going to have a four way encounter for the USPW World Title as T-Rex defends the title against Jumbo Jackson, Bruce The Giant AND James Justice in an elimination style match! Winner takes all! Now, if either of you touch each other before the match then whoever starts things will NOT be involved in that match. Thanks for watching everyone!"

['Living In America' by James Brown plays and the crowd cheers that match announcement! But we're out of time! We'll see you in two weeks!]

After a week off, USPW American Wrestling returns with a bang as T-Rex defends his USPW World Title in a 4-Way Elimination match against three of the top USPW wrestlers: James Justice, Bruce The Giant and Jumbo Jackson! Who will step away as the winner and the Champion?

We'll also have a USPW World Tag Team Titles match as The Forces of America defend against the Dirty White Boys. Can the new team unseat the Champions?

In what should be regarded as a great matchup from a performance standpoint, Steve Flash steps into the ring with Bryan Holmes and maybe we'll get an answer from Peter Valentine on Flash's challenge two weeks ago.

Plus more action!

Week 2 April 2008

[i figured that the American Wrestling show would have a pretty good rating and leave me with no standing with Sam Strong but it was pretty low. In fact it was one of our lowest ratings since I arrived here at the beginning of the year. This gives me some leeway in my push for change here in USPW. I arrived at the offices of Sam Strong and inside the board room sat Sam, Shane Sneer and Danny Jillefski. I looked around at them and then took my seat.]

Sam Strong

"First of all, Jack, I have some unfortunate news to report and we are going to get it out in the open right away. Shane?"

Shane Sneer

"I have been contacted by Tommy Cornell and have decided to accept his offer of a contract with TCW. Not only have I made the decision but referee Jez McArthuer is also leaving."

Jack Avatar

"What? Shane? Why would you leave here?"

Shane Sneer

"Tommy is on the rise with TCW and I want to be a part of it. It's been good doing business with you."

[shane rose and offered me a handshake but I wasn't sure I wanted to shake his hand. He is walking away as we are getting ready to begin turning a corner. I decided in the end to shake his hand and he walked away from the room and the office. I turned my eyes back toward Sam Strong.]

Jack Avatar

"This is going to hurt Bruce and Jumbo..."

Sam Strong

"I know. Now I have been doing some studying and thinking about what you've been talking about. Performance in the ring was never my calling card but I know that it works for you. So I have decided that you have until the end of the year to make the changes that you are looking to make and if you cannot bring us up into direct competition with Tommy and Richard by then I'm going to have to let you go and find someone else who can."

Jack Avatar

"I understand, Sam, and I plan on bringing USPW to at least the number two of the big three. Tommy is on a roll but Richard isn't so he may end up becoming our next competitor. Though I can't wait to destroy Tommy and Richard for taking our wrestlers. It's time to bring in some true performance to USPW. I have a lot to do, Sam, between now and next week so I'll be available via my cell phone."

[i rose to my feet and shook hands with Sam and then Danny, who had remained quiet during this entire meeting and then I was off because I am lifting the reigns from some of the wrestlers here and letting them shine.]

[Following the opening credits, the camera cuts inside the Huntsville Fairgrounds with the crowd on their feet ready for USPW action! The focus turns to the announcers...]

Danny Jillefski

"Hello everyone and welcome to USPW American Wrestling! I'm Danny Jillefski and this is Sara Silver and Sara tonight we have a great card with an even more spectacular main event!"

Sara Silver

"Yes, we do, Danny. Tonight, we are going to see T-Rex defend his USPW World Title against three other men in a 4 way elimination match!"

Danny Jillefski

"Of course those other men include the top three wrestlers in USPW: James Justice, Bruce The Giant and Jumbo Jackson. Speaking of Bruce..."

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg

['A Welcome Burden' by Disturbed plays over top of Danny Jillefski and Shane Sneer and Bruce The Giant walk out and to the ring. Bruce steps over the top rope and stands tall as Shane Sneer gets a microphone...]

Shane Sneer

"Humanoids, tonight is the night where Bruce The Giant earns the proper respect that he deserves. For those of you who have not given him respect, you cannot stop from doing so when he wins the USPW World Title. Tonight I guarantee that Bruce will walk away from this match with the title and if he doesn't, then I will leave USPW for good! And you can take that to the bank!"

[The crowd is stunned at that admission from Shane Sneer! He will leave USPW if Bruce doesn't win the title? The camera pans over to the curtain and backstage for just a moment, showing Jumbo Jackson shaking his head and walking off.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JimForce.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/CaptainUSA.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GreaseHogg.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LeadBelly.jpg

USPW World Tag Team Titles Match

The Forces of America defend vs. The Dirty White Boys

['Born In The USA' by Bruce Springsteen brought out the Champions to a decent crowd ovation. They played to the crowd and Jim Force shook the ropes before it changed to 'Born To Be Wild' by Steppenwolf and the Dirty White Boys rode their motorcycles down to the ring.

Lead Belly was off his game within this match which wasn't a great title defense by the Champions. They don't seem to be marking good grades out of anyone. It was a back and forth contest, which saw Jim Force hit Lead Belly with the Full Force and get the three count.]

Winners: The Forces of America

Match Rating: E+

[Grease Hogg came into the ring with a clothesline on Jim Force following the match and a DDT for Captain USA! He helped up Lead Belly and they both put the boots to Jim and Captain until....]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JDMorgan.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JohnnyMartin.jpg

[Two unknown men came running from the audience, battling back the Dirty White Boys! The two men got a good cheering section from the crowd and were identified by the announcers as JD Morgan and Johnny Martin! JD and Johnny played to the crowd as the Dirty White Boys stared up at them from their motorcycles.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveSmith.jpg

[brand new USPW announcer Steve Smith is standing by backstage with one of the contestants in the main event: James Justice.]

Steve Smith

"Good evening everyone and welcome back to USPW American Wrestling! I'm Steve..."

[steve slumps against the wall, snoring...]

James Justice

"DUDE!"

[steve wakes up with that, holding up the microphone...]

James Justice

"Tonight is going to be the last night that you see Shane Sneer here in USPW, dude!"

[steve goes back to snoring.]

James Justice

"Dude. T-Rex, dude, Jurassic Power, I got a lot of respect for you as champion, dude, but tonight is going to be the night of Justice. It's going to be the night where I regain my USPW World Title belt, dude! Tonight, justice is going to be served."

[James looks over at Steve and shakes his head.]

James Justice

"DUDE!"

[steve snorts and shakes awake as James walks off and Steve looks into the camera wondering what happened for a moment before he falls back asleep.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/KatieCameron.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BryanHolmes.jpg

Steve Flash vs. Bryan Holmes

[The crowd was very excited to see this match. Bryan Holmes was already in the ring when 'I Am Canadian' by the Arrogant Worms began to play and Steve Flash came out with Katie Cameron. The crowd was behind Steve Flash in this match.

The match was a slightly below average technical contest but a very good contest here in USPW. Flash hit some good high flying moves to the outside, including a shooting star press! Holmes came back and locked in an abdominal stretch in the ring but Flash was able to fight his way out of it. Flash got distracted by the presence of Peter Valentine down at ringside. Holmes tossed Flash out of the ring and distracted the official, enabling Valentine to send Flash into the ringpost. The referee turned back around and counted Flash out.]

Winner: Bryan Holmes

Match Rating: C-

[A video begins to play showing a scene from a zombie movie with several zombies moaning and walking around. One of the zombies slowly turns toward the camera and moans out 'He's coming.' And they all seem to be headed in the same direction toward a place where a man is standing dressed all in black, even with his face covered up. Another zombie moans out...'It's him!'...and then fade to black.]

Match #3

Jack Griffith vs. Freddie Datsun

['One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer' by George Thurogood and the Destroyers brings out the man known as Southern Justice with the beer bottle in one hand as he staggered out to the ring and slid inside. The music was interchanged with 'Smoke On The Water' by Deep Purple and out came Freddie Datsun, who is looking more and more like Madman Boone every day. He even staggers out to the ring.

The American Everyman and the drunk really complimented each other's styles since both were staggering and falling down but for entirely different reasons. Datsun began yelling for Griffith's brains and then fought to move back toward his reality, toward being human. He managed to hit Griffith with the Patriot Press and he got a three count.]

It's a brand new start for USPW and things are going to be kicked off with a message from USPW owner Sam Strong and also he will announce the main event for Declaration Of Independence.

Our main event couldn't be larger as James 'Liberty' Justice takes on Bruce The Giant! Who will walk away victorious in the rubber match?

Jim Force will be in action against the man known as the Alcoholic Ninja. It should be a great battle.

Anger will be going one on one with American Elemental as well.

Plus more action!
