Twincitiesfan
Question for Arlie, during your beta testing how good have the stats been? In other words have you been able to simulate a career and be content with the stats that were produced? Keep up the great work and I can't wait to check out this game, thanks. cody8200
Yeh, they have been good overall. Arlie has been tweaking them bit by bit but overall they are definetely looking good.
MrHaroldG
Now that you mention it, I was wondering if quarterback sacks will count against the quarterback's rushing yards as they do in real life?
Arlie Rahn
Here's how I do sacks. They count again the team rushing yards (and attempts), but I do not count them against a QBs individual rushing stats. Instead, you have two lines tracked for QBs: rushing attempts and rushing yards, as well as sacks and yards loss. If you add the two together you will get his Net rushing yards. I have found that keeping them seperate helps people better judge a QB's rushing ability. If you add them together, it's sometimes hard to see if a QB is a good runner with poor instincts for avoiding sacks (or bad OL) or simply a poor runner. Again, since you will see the tracked sacks and yards loss, people can combine the two if they wish when evaluating a player. If, however, I decided to combine the two in stat tracking, there would be no way to see a QB's performance in only rushing attempts.

BYU 14
Good call. :)
I agree, I still have a hard time getting a handle on this in TCY, this will help with gameplanning immensely.

Huckleberry
Agree that it's a good call for gameplanning and analytical purposes. However, I'd like a column that combines the two for national leaders purposes only because that's the way it is IRL. Sure it's dumb, but that's the way it is.
