The show opens with Remianen in the ring with Aurora & Emma. He pauses then says, "I have an important announcement to make but first, I've been advised that we have a video message. Roll it, Donnie."

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/QAW%20diary/SuicideDollsLogo.jpg

The video opens with a very recognizable logo, followed by a nightclub scene with flashing lights. The camera navigates around the club before settling on a pair of women huddled in a booth with sullen looks on their faces. As the camera begins to zoom in, it becomes obvious that the two women are Jen and Kathy Neptune. Just as that becomes apparent, flashes of women sparring in a ring begin to blend in before merging into focus. The women, soaked in sweat, appear to be wrestling a tag match. As the camera spins around the ring, the competitors become recognizable as the Neptunes against two unknown women. An older female voice is barking orders from off-camera as the women go through their paces: "MOVE!", "You'd better put more snap in that suplex!", "What the *bleep* was that?" "Put your back into it!". But then she says, "Look, it's the Neptune Twins. Former QAW World Tag Team champions." This apparently gets a rise out of the twins as they burst into motion. Kathy becomes a blur, attacking her adversary with vigor. Big boot to one woman, hip tossing the other into the ring, forward rolling into a lunge to tag in Jen. The flurry of activity continues as the stereo voices of the twins say, "You took what was ours (ours). That which was most dear to us (dear to us). Now it's time for the cat to bare her claws (meow!). Tonight we bid you welcome (welcome). Welcome to Neptune's Orbit."

The off-camera voice shouts, "NEPTUNE'S ORBIT!" and the girls spring into action as Kathy catches her opponent with the Trident Kick and Jen, running from the opposite direction, blasts her with the Alabama Jam as Kathy falls into the cover. As the twins glare straight into the camera, the off-camera voice says simply, "Tamara, I think they're ready...." and the video fades to black.

"That seems to make tonight's match all the more exciting. I for one am looking forward to seeing these new Neptunes. Right, so my announcement. Very simple, really. No more title matches just for challenging a champion to a match. From here on out, you get a title shot when you've earned a title shot. Either you beat the champion in a tag or non-title match, or you work your way up to #1 contender or you win a #1 contender's match. Or, of course, you are awarded a title match. Possible, but not likely. Our next Showcase will feature #1 contender's matches for all titles. Be sure to keep an eye on QAW.com for details."

As Ashley Grover stands in the ring, a hush falls over the garage before, "I am here, to punish the wicked" blasts through the speakers and Ashley's opponent becomes known, walking out in full habit with a paddle in her hand.

Sister Beth Mercy vs Ashley Grover

Ashley, quite understandably, was hesitant to lock up with...a nun. That is, until she took the first forearm shiver to the mouth. From that point on, it was Ash leading Beth through a very simple match until Beth got frustrated. Retrieving her paddle from the corner, she hid it in the folds of her robe and, after a drop toe hold (clumsily executed), brandished it to give Ashley a firm spanking, drawing the DQ.

Winner by DQ: Ashley Grover (E-)

Gemmei Oonishi & Mitsu Ariwa vs Roz Larren & Geena the Warrior Princess

While Roz & Geena attempted to dominate the match, Gemmei and Mitsu vexed them at every turn. Always seeming ready to make a tag, Roz and Geena spent too much time chasing and not enough time attacking. After Roz missed on a Lionsault, she found herself the recipient of a Flying Dagger before Gemmei tagged in Mitsu for the pinfall.

Winners: Gemmei Oonishi & Mitsu Ariwa (E)

'So Cold' fires up, heralding the imminent arrival of Golden Delicious. As she gets to the ring, both she and Cat Jemson grab mics and sneer at the crowd. Golden raises her mic to speak:

"I think it odd that the owner of this promotion has decided to demand that people earn their title shots just before the last participant in the championship 4-way match - ME - was scheduled to get her shot at our erstwhile champion."

"Odd, but not unexpected", Cat interjects.

"This is true. It's so typical of American arrogance to deny the most deserving person their fair chance at the brass ring. There are many people in that locker room who feel the same way. Thus, I came up with an idea..."

"You're a resourceful one", Cat points out.

"I am at that. But I figured that if we all band together, we would be better equipped to deal with the injustices foisted upon us by the oppressive regime of this company. So, to that end, I have assembled what is perhaps the most talented group of stars this business has ever seen. So allow me to introduce you lazy cretins to them.

Collectively, we're known as the United Nations. And unlike that other organization, we're actually going to be effective in shaping the direction of this company. Before long, we will own every title in this promotion and we will use that power to ensure that those who are deserving, will not have their efforts ignored due to favoritism by inept management. And do not be surprised if our ranks swell. Freedom cannot be suppressed and we, well, we're freedom in its purest form. Not the false, hypocritical image shown by this country's culture."

Rebecca Petty & Sally Anne vs Umeko Hotta & Yoko Ikina

Quite the downer after the prior segment but one that had storyline implications. As Rebecca and Sally Anne showed good cohesiveness, Umeko spent half the match isolated from her partner, though she gave as good as she got. When she finally got to her corner and made the tag, Yoko hit the ring in a flurry of high spots, really selling her new kamikaze moniker. After taking out Rebecca with a springboard enzugiri, the Tornado Y left Sally Anne to take the pin.

Winners: Umeko Hotta & Yoko Ikina (F)

The Super Powers vs The Electrifiers vs Cold War vs Cloud Nine

Undoubtedly looking to make an impression and secure a spot in the #1 Contenders match, the four teams pulled out all the stops, showing off their full repertoires. With the Electrifiers and the Super Powers fully living up to their names, the match flowed from spotfest to semi-technical clinic to all-out brawl, depending on who was in the ring. Finally, while Karen held off JMB and Kin, keeping them occupied with the erstwhile supervillains catching a breather, the team of Cloud Nine took the opportunity to capitalize on a blind tag by Militia as Yori missile dropkicked her right into the Chromatic Clutch for the victory. When the bell rang signaling the end of the match, Karen's frustration was easily apparent.

Winners: Cloud Nine (E+)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/QAW%20diary/QAW-1.jpg

After the match, as Militia apologized to her partner (who turned away in disgust), their manager Kali Fornia said something to Karen, causing her to stiffen. She then spun on her heel and goozled Militia while yelling at her in what Remus suggested was Ukrainian. Lifting her high above her head, she planted her with a chokeslam that reverberated throughout the garage. Seemingly not content with that, she then lifted the limp form of her apparently former tag team partner and viciously brought her down to earth with a particularly emphatic Bilous Bomb. While officials and EMTs flooded the ring, Karen and Kali back up the ramp, admiring their handiwork.

Missy Masterson & Carnival Queen Kendra vs Miss Information & Carol Singer w/ Simona Cox & Clare South

Fast paced match to get the weaker link some in-ring experience. While Miss Info spent half the match trying to tie up anyone she could, Carol & Missy took to the skies repeatedly. Finally, after a series of lightning quick tags, the Dolls emerged victorious after Kendra hit the Soca Stunner on Miss Info.

Winners: Missy Masterson & Carnival Queen Kendra (E-)

Lora Washington vs Christina Charisma

Dominated from the outset by Christina, Lora was given short stretches to show her (limited) repertoire. Eventually, Christina played to the crowd a bit too much and got caught on the receiving end of a rollup, for the upset.

Winner: Lora Washington (E+)

Excellence of Execution vs Mary Beth Chase & Olivia Diamond w/ Monique

The victors of this match were easily apparent from the bell, which led the other team to fall into crisis mode. With tag tactics that seemed almost preternatural, Amber and Higa isolated Olivia and systematically dismantled MBC. After a Higa springboard enzuigiri took MBC off the apron, the quick tag was made that brought Amber back into the game and the Amber Alert on Olivia sealed the win.

Winners: Excellence of Execution (D-)

Nina the Psycho Ballerina vs Tsuki Kawamata w/ Chloe Dean

Tsuki, surprisingly, dominated the earlygoing of the match, until Nina bailed from the ring to rethink things. When she returned to the ring, she took every shortcut possible and managed to put Tsuki down with the Nina Hammer and a handful of tights.

Winner: Nina the Psycho Ballerina (E)

The Neptune Twins & Tamara McFly w/ Julie Forletta vs Lilly & Rose & Wanda Fish w/ Tara Green

The word that best describes this match is, surprisingly, 'intense'. From the outset, the twins seemed more focused on hurting Lilly & Rose and Wanda seemed intent on never squaring off with Tamara. From the bell, Kathy took Debbie down with a Thesz press and dropped serious bombs on her head until Elegance managed to her her off. Debbie quickly tagged in Wanda and Tamara begged for the tag which Kathy teased for a moment, then made. Of course, to the fans' disappointment, Wanda immediately tagged Kate.

While Debbie and Kate tried to find any means of blunting the force of the twins' anger, Wanda picked her spots carefully, always avoiding a direct confrontation with T-Mac. The Neptunes, to their credit, used vicious looking versions of very basic maneuvers to great effect. From backbreakers to shoulder breakers to knee breakers, they didn't attempt a single pinfall. Finally, Wanda was forced to face Tamara and they went to slugging in the middle of the ring. When it became apparent that she wasn't getting the better of the exchange, she landed a poke to the eye and tagged in Kate and chased Julie Forletta from ringside.

Kate ran in and immediately ate a clothesline followed by a boston crab. While screaming at the top of her lungs, she finally managed to make it to the ropes. This is when Wanda decided the match was over and left the apron to head toward the ramp. Telling Debbie and Kate to follow, she then got into a war of words with Tamara. As Kate and Debbie conferred next to the ring at the bottom of the ramp and Tamara went out after them, the twins saw their chance and, in a tandem move that stole the breath of the crowd, they wiped out Debbie and Kate with a suicide dive/Topé con Giro combination that left all four women down and out.

As Wanda looked on in astonishment, she decided enough was enough and headed up the ramp. Turning to shout something at a trailing Tamara McFly, when she turned back to resume her egress, she found her way blocked....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/QAW%20diary/DharmaGregg.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/QAW%20diary/BritneyHollywood.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/QAW%20diary/MissyMasterson.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/QAW%20diary/CarnivalQueenKendra.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/QAW%20diary/JulieForletta_alt.jpg

Surveying the situation, she took the only action available to her: she ran through the crowd. As Elegance called for the bell, Tamara waved the Dolls off and went to see about Jen & Kathy.

Winners: The Neptune Twins & Tamara McFly by countout (D-)

Stephanie Wade vs Lauren Easter

Ah providence. What tends to occur when you put two talented workers in a match together and let them do their thing. This was a remarkably even match and either Stephanie is improving drastically or Lauren really made her look good. The action went back and forth and took place inside and outside of the ring. There were six finishers hit, which perhaps makes the name a misnomer. The champion managed to find a way to kick out of three Superkicks while the challenger found a way to kick out of the ESS and forced the champion to go to her uber finisher when she played possum until Stephanie went up top ostensibly for a moonsault but found she had company in the high risk district. The Victory Star Drop wiped both women out but not before Lauren held on for the 3-count.

Winner: Lauren Easter (C-)

The day after the show, as I'm going over the financials, I get a knock on my door. "Come in," I said, happy to put the numbers aside for a time. I look up to see

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/Misc/QAW%20diary/RozLarren.jpg

"Roz! Come in, have a seat."

"I wanted to talk to you about my push. I think I'm better suited at the midcard level..."

"I know..."

"...but I know others are...wait, what?"

"You would be well suited for a midcard push. But that's not what I have planned."

I then explained to her what I had planned for her and several other lower card workers, which got an excited nod from the linchpin of the whole plan. Having sold it so well, I guess my fuzzy idea of going to a weekly format of 2.5-3 hours to fully enable us to establish personalities is a go.
