captainlou
Wow! That was a quicky. Eaton looked like he was really building something there, before you just murdered him with that lariat. I guess young Bobby can't take much punishment. Not yet, I guess. As you have seen, I've left DCW and soon I'll be gone from SECW because they are not renewing my contract. I'll be contacting another territory because I want a second one while I'm still in PNW.

Greg McNeish
As you have seen, I've left DCW and soon I'll be gone from SECW because they are not renewing my contract. I'll be contacting another territory because I want a second one while I'm still in PNW. Any idea why SECW isn't renewing? You're pretty popular in that area, so have you just gotten too big for the territory?

Greg McNeish
Makes sense. Back in those days, guys took time away from their home territories all the time, so they wouldn't get stale with the crowds. I guess it's time for Mean Mark to do some travelling. I'm interested to see where you end up, and especially whether you go somewhere bigger, or smaller. Greg McNeish
Calaway & Santana. Now there's a team. I liked that Tito wasn't really doing a lot of damage, but was just draining both Borne & Malenko of energy, before handing it off to the big guy. It's almost like baseball, where his job is to get on base, and just basically rattle the pitcher enough that he leaves one hanging over the plate for Mark to drill into the bleachers. Fun stuff. If you look to make that a regular team, may I suggest the Tex-Mex Sensations? Maybe Tito & Goliath.... It's nice to see Bret finally pick up a win. Take THAT, Loch Ness Monster. Speaking of which, it looks like I'll be picking up WS2 in just over a week. Hopefully, I'll have figured out enough of what I'm doing to get "HITMAN: The Bret Hart Story" up by that weekend. Cheers! There's an idea! I can try to get the two of us together and possibly make a run at the tag team titles. You have to remember that even though he's the owner's son, Bret wants to be treated like any other wrestler and will take his lumps when he gets called upon to do it. Right now, it looks like he's getting that call quite a bit. I'll be looking forward to reading another career thread here and following the Hitman. I suggest doing your "homework" first and watch the DVD, if you can get a copy or own one already, or go to the wwe website and watch some of Bret's matches, if there are any. BTW, I have a copy of his DVD.

Greg McNeish
I like that your last match with SECW was a glorified squash. It was almost like your train of thought was, "I'm leaving anyway, so I'll just crush this guy's head, and call it a night." Teach them to not renew your contract. I actually started re-reading Bret's book, at about the same time you posted this message. Ended up reading until about 2 hours past my bedtime. As well, I always take any excuse to watch some old Hitman matches. If only all research was this enjoyable.
captainlou
I like that your last match with SECW was a glorified squash. It was almost like your train of thought was, "I'm leaving anyway, so I'll just crush this guy's head, and call it a night." Teach them to not renew your contract. It was going to be tough for him anyways. His energy % was 43 and Mark's was at 68. I have noticed that the number starts off low when you first enter a promotion but then increases the more time you are in there and as you get deeper into the card. I'll see when I go back to work where CWF is going to slot me, but I'm guessing that it would more than likely be a lower midcarder push. This will be my first time ever wrestling in CWF so I can't wait to get going.

captainlou
CWF is the Florida territory, right? That is correct. Championship Wrestling from Florida. The home of Kevin Sullivan, The Purple Haze, Blackjack Mulligan, Dusty Rhodes plus my all-time fav, Superstar Billy Graham. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm185/doncoryell/ws2pics/CWF2.jpg
captainlou
I went to continue on and it came back as Sunday week 1 of May. That means that from then through Tuesday of week 3 did not happen. I guess that I'm just going to have to replay it and hope that what happens stays happened. One thing for sure, the matches will play differently but let's see what happens in the other territories. GRRRRR! NOTE: Sunday, week 1 May through Thursday, week 2 May, has been replayed and edited in their respective posts. Now on to my experiment before going on to the Friday of week 2. The experiment worked, so now it's time for deja vu all over again as I start replaying from Friday week 2 and go on from there.

Greg McNeish
They really threw you to the wolves - er... snake - in your first match with CWF. I love the finish of a roundhouse punch being turned into a DDT. Really puts over just how deadly the move is, without hurting your character, as it was just a lucky break on his part. Too bad the game considers matches like that too short to get any kind of ratings.

There's an overabundance of heels in CWF so I should be able to see lots of ring time. I'm about 1.5% behind Zhukov to get into the lower midcard position so maybe they might throw me a couple of times with Barry, oops, I mean Jack "The Stretcher" Hart to help build my record. We'll see this coming weekend.
