captainlou
YES!!! Congratulations, Cap. This is a big milestone for you. The tag team match victory with partner Sweet Stan Lane pushed the popularity in the South East USA area to A. That boosted the popularity in the Mid Atlantic, New England and Tri State areas to C-, so now MACW & WWF could now be in line for the future when I get to the late 1980s. That then allowed Mark to be able to sign with Cult sized promotions. WCCW is listed as being in the Mid South area, in which Mark has a popularity grade of C. The TV & weekly house show schedule does have conflicts, on Fridays (PNW) and Sundays (CWF). Because there are now 28 wrestlers (17 heels, 11 faces), the possibility of not being booked in WCCW could exist and it would allow Mark to wrestle in the others on those days. Greg McNeish
I love the thought of a Brass Knuckles Title match ending in a DQ, for a toss over the top rope. Such a fantasticly heel way to retain the championship. It would have been nice to take the belt as a bonus prize, to celebrate your transcendent week, but a win is a win. Enjoy the winner's purse. I'm going to have to get some wine to go with the crow I'll be eating. I'd advocated focussing away from the South East, in order to open doors in the big leagues, yet it was spillovers that broke you through the glass ceiling. Big props to Sweet Stan, for helping you propel your career. I should go with white wine, right?

captainlou
Finally caught up to where I last left off...oh and I HATE DQS! >=((((((((((((((((((( Do DQs instantly kill the match rating? Anyways, after going through this again. I've gotten the urge to replay WS2. I rather see a clean win/loss myself but a win is a win in the record book. I really don't know it DQs kill a match rating but I'm sure that the fans want to see a clear winner as well. Although, I haven't seen many matches rated well if there's a DQ finish, there probably could be a decent grade if it's the last in a 2/3 match and it's the 3rd fall. However, I did see a 2/3 fall exhibition match have a DQ in one of the falls but it still ended in an "A*" rating. Maybe you can start one of these with WS2 and the great DOTT database. The others may have died out, or are comatose, but this one will keep going for many "years" to come. Who knows, I might even get to 10,000 posts by the time this is done. Huntman
Yeah, I suck at TEW diaries, so this may be the way to go. And with the DOTT mod, I did a Chris Jericho one over at another forum, but in the mod he is like..16 and he didn't really start until he was 18 or 19, but I still went with it. And I didn't do too bad. I think I started off weak and got better, except for when I'd get screwed over in a tag match. But if I did, I wouldn't even begin to know their story...except for Jericho and Mick...and some of Shawn. I may do Shawn Michaels' story now that I think of it..
