captainlou
Does WCCW have a national TV deal? If so, then you should pray they decide to run more shows in the South East, so you'll have the best chance of winning your matches. I don't know. How can I tell if they have a national TV deal in the game? According to the WCCW bio on wikipedia.com, the TV show was syndicated in real life. Huntman
Every time I go back a page to check out whatever new posts there were. Whenever you have a match with the Missing Link...I also think that is who you are playing as. Then I tried thinking when Mark was The Missing Link. Also, the lack of Shawn Michaels titles is making me sad. OH and your win record is 187...now I'll wait for Homicide to make a showing in this thread. Also, the lack of Shawn Michaels titles is making me sad. OH and your win record is 187...now I'll wait for Homicide to make a showing in this thread. Dewey Robertson was "The Missing Link". As far as Homicide (Nelson Rodriguez Erazo) is concerned, he was only 6 years old at the beginning of this mod and is not going to be seen here at all. Entering wrestling soon should be Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Vampiro, Eddie Guerrero (I think) and Hunter Hearst Helmsley (Triple H). Shawn Michaels needs to get out of HCW. His athleticism & high flying style isn't used properly due to top rope moves are illegal and would result in a disqualification in that promotion. He is also at the "Enhancement Talent" push and only seems to wrestle once a month. He is also only turning 20 years old and if he stays in HCW, it might be longer for him to grow into the wrestler that we all know.

Greg McNeish
I'm waiting to see if Dusty is going match me with or against himself or my all-time fav, Superstar Billy Graham. They could be classics now that Mark is back to a "A" popularity in the South East region of the USA. Is Blackjack Mulligan still kicking around Florida? I love me my Blackjacks. That'd be a brawl to end it all, for sure. I love seeing all these 6-man tags in World Class. You, Taylor, and Morton are a fun team, each bringing something different to the table. Good stuff. I love seeing all these 6-man tags in World Class. You, Taylor, and Morton are a fun team, each bringing something different to the table. Good stuff. Blackjack Mulligan is now only in AWA. The other Blackjack, Blackjack Lanza, is a road agent there. World Class is the home of the NWA Six-Man Tag Team title so I'm not surprised at the 6-man tags showing up. Even though we lost the last match, I received a popularity boost in 3 regions as a result of being on the show.
Greg McNeish
World Class is the home of the NWA Six-Man Tag Team title so I'm not surprised at the 6-man tags showing up. Since you mention the NWA titles, I lost a few hours on Wikipedia the other night (happens all the time), after deciding to learn more about Toots Mondt (who is incredibly NOT in the WWE Hall of Fame). The umbrella NWA organization actually did not recognize an official Tag Team Champion until 1992 (when Terry Gordy & Steve Williams won them in WCW, although those have now been unrecognized), and have never recognized 6-man champs. I guess the standard procedure was that any of the NWA bookers could call their titles whatever they wanted (which is why there are 7 different active US Championships, or something, in DOTT), and those champions could take those titles anywhere, just so long as all the bookers agreed. For decades, the only title that was universally recognized was the 10 Pounds of Gold. Everything else was regional. It was a truly interesting read. The most important lesson I learned was that Lou Thesz was one tough SOB. Probably the last great Hooker, he went into enemy territory, and quite often had to shoot the local champion, in order to become the first universally recognized NWA World Champion. Greg McNeish
Oh yes, definitely. Wikipedia is my starting point, not my gospel. I actually spent time on the NWA's official website, as well, learning about their title histories.
captainlou
Oh yes, definitely. Wikipedia is my starting point, not my gospel. I actually spent time on the NWA's official website, as well, learning about their title histories. Speaking of title histories, after I finish December '85 I will include an end-of-year package including the history of the titles from May '83 to current year end. I will do this after every year and for the companies in the USA. Would you like for me to include Canada as well? It might be too much work, even for me, but what about the other countries, too? You mentioned about Toots Mondt not being in the WWE Hall of Fame. Neither are some others due to spats between them and Vince. Here's a thought. Since Vince had a match with Bret Hart, how about Vince wrestling against Bruno Sammartino in the next Wrestlemania. If Vince wins, then Bruno GETS INDUCTED into the WWE Hall of Fame. It won't be pretty, but neither was the match between Bret and Vince.
