NYCW: Extreme Makeover Edition

Recommended Posts

I really hate to do this but, this diary is probably going to have end. You see I am not the smartest person in the world:D. I was going to load my save which this diary was in and me being the dumbass that I am eliminated the save!

I have no rational reason why I did it, I truly thought I was loading it. So I have a question to anybody who reads this.

Should I continue this diary, while changing the default data to match it up as closely to my previous save as possible (Granted the other promotions would not match because I was not paying attention to them.)? Or should I just end this diary all together?

I do have two more shows saved into my word document so I will write them up. However, after that I have nothing else.

So I am sorry for anybody who likes and reads this diary. It was truly a dumb thing that I did.

Y'know, a couple years back when my parents wouldn't buy me TEW07, and I had to settle for the trial, I did exactly that - play through a month, then update the company. It seems like a cheap imitation, but for the most part, it actually worked while I was doing that..even did that with TCW for a few game months when TEW08 came out. (As a matter of fact, I'm still doing it with WMMA 2, but that's beside the point..)

It really didn't take that long for me, and while you've made more additions then I would've in any single WWF-controlled month, it really isn't that time consuming to go through and add contracts for people. Remembering the right range for popularity increases/decreases and the like is a tad trickier, especially for the entire roster, but basically if everyone auto-pushes to the same level that they did before, then the game should play essentially the same as it would have.

And if you can't remember in-game momentums, you could always use the at times vastly differant diary momentum.. :p

But yeah, I'd go for it, based on past experiance. Not as hard as it sounds.

Yeah the biggest problem is I am not sure how much each person's stats were bumped. And I really do not remember any momentum.

I mean I know you have been a regular reader thus far and if it does not offend then maybe I should try it. I just do not want this to come off as cheating.

In fact if I do end up fixing my default data to stay with the diary world, I probably would not mess with any stats at all. I may touch popularity as I do remember so of those stats. And momentum would be whatever the game makes it.

Also, what was great about my diary save was nobody but Lee Wright was in terminal decline. That was great luck, but I am not sure if I could pull that off again.

I don't get why it would offend, you don't really have any other option, aside from ending the diary, and I don't think people want that, as it's still relatively new. If anything, I think a lot of people would admire the determination in keeping the diary going.

I will try fooling around with the data and see if I can make it somewhat passable. And no I am not going to put Sean Mc Fly or Christian Faith in my new data.:D

Damn - how did I miss predicting the last show? Not sure how that happened.

As for your game dilemma. I'd do what Zeel said and try to match this save game as best you can - if momentum and things like that are slightly off, it's not going to affect the diary readers greatly. Yes, you may be worse off for things like wrestlers decline etc but it'll just give you a set of slightly different challenges and circumstances. It'd be a shame to let the diary die, especially when it's in the rookie diary of the month category.

I'd give it a go - if you're not happy that it's similar enough or just doesn't feel right at that point, then begin a different game. But at the end of the day, it's got to be your decision.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, I think at the very least I will continue to do the two shows that I have from the previous save. After that, I will see how me messing with the default data turned out, game play wise. If it looks good I will try to keep this going until TEW 2010 comes out, if it does not seem like it is clicking right I will put an end to this.

When I thought about doing this, I also had ideas to do an SWF diary or a USPW diary. The SWF would have been much like this. However, the USPW diary would have been through the eyes of Henry Lee and would have been mostly backstage stuff with little focus being on the actual matches. We would have seen Henry Lee's interaction with other wrestlers and his feeling on wrestling in USPW. Who knows, maybe I will do USPW: The Ballad of Henry Lee for TEW 2010 (if Henry Lee is not retired).

Rock Downpour’s Take

Honest Frank and associates running roughshod in NYCW!

Hey, what is up NYCW fans? It is your boy Rock Downpour here! At the end of our last show we saw Honest Frank and his associates, known as New York City’s Finest, absolutely destroy our current Empire Champion Steve Flash! They totally dismantled and destroyed Steve, finally finishing off their attack on him when The Big Problem chocked slammed him on a steel chair! One thing I do have to say is, I give props to the champ! After the horrific beating he took, he managed to get up on his own volition and walk away without the aid of anybody! One has to respect the courage and warrior’s heart of Steve Flash!

I actually caught up with the current Empire Champion and asked him about the menace that is known as New York City’s Finest. Steve had this to say:

“I understand what Frank and his buddies are trying to do, they are trying to weaken me so when Frank finally sacks up and get into the ring with me, he will have an easier time beating me. However, one thing that him and his buddies have not taken into account is my drive and determination. If New York City’s Finest want to jump me from now until eternity, so be! I will keep coming back, because quit is not a word that I am all that familiar with.”

Even with a three on one advantage, I am not sure if it was wise for New York City’s Finest to declare war on the champ.

In other news, despite the fact that Lee Wright finally got his rematch for the Tri-State Regional title at our last event he is still complaining about how he was discriminated against. Following his loss, in the triple threat match at Top of the World, Lee had this to say:

“I am still not happy with NYCW ‘s championship committee! I still feel discriminated against due to my age despite being “allowed” a spot in the triple threat match. I want a one on one rematch, I do not want to be thrown in a triple threat match! How is that fair to me? Like I have said before, the only reason why I was allowed a rematch was because the championship committee knew I would have a tough time beating two other people to regain my Tri-State Regional Title! They did it because they do not want an older wrestler to hold my title! Well I would like to put the NYCW champion committee on notice, I will get my one on one rematch or you will be hearing from my lawyer!”

All I have to say on that subject is, Lee Wright is one grump old man!

Finally, I just want to give a quick shot out to my boys, The Gang of New York, on winning their first NYCW Tag Team championships!

C-ya next month,

Rock Downpour

Yikes how did I miss all this yesterday? Good luck BHK with whatever you decide, I'll be reading (if maybe a day late! :) ). I had something similar happen with a long running save back in the spring (which put me on a TEW break once I realized I'd lost everything). That feeling sucks. But I'd love to see your take on either SWF or USPW too if you don't have the energy to keep this alive, you've got plenty of options!

Well wrestling fans, we here at NYCW have yet another action packed wrestling card that is going to place on Saturday July 12, 2008 at the Crawford Center in Brooklyn, New York. This is a quick rundown of what our fans will see on that night.

Our main event will see Steve Flash and the partner of his choice take on the team of Honest Frank and The Big Problem. Will Steve Flash and his mystery partner get revenge against two of the men who brutally beat our champ up last month? Or will Honest Frank and The Big Problem continue to brutalize the Empire Champion?

In other action, we will see The Sting get the first crack at our newly crowned Tag Team champions The Gang of New York. Will the Sting live up to Roger Dodger’s guarantee that they will win the tag team championships? Or will The Gang of New York continue their dominance of the NYCW tag team division?

We will also see the NYCW debut of Kirk Jameson as he takes on Dazzling Dave Diamond. Will the newest member of New York City’s Finest gain a victory? Or will Dazzling Dave finally put an end to his losing streak?

Land Mass, Wiley Steinway , Black Hat Bailey and more will be in action as well! So bring your friends and family to another great NYCW show! Doors open at 7:00 pm so come early and enjoy the show.

Quick Picks for NYCW: Gang Wars

New York City's Finest (Honest Frank & The Big Problem) vs. Steve Flash and the partner of his choosing (it will be somebody already on the current roster).

Black Hat Bailey vs. Wiley Steinway

Land Mass vs. Bradford Peverell and Brendan Idol

For the NYCW Tag Team Championships:

The Sting vs. The Gang of New York

Kirk Jameson vs. Dazzling Dave Diamond

occ: I am not sure when this show will actually go up. I am shooting for either Saturday or Sunday. So whomever wants to pick will have plenty of time to do so.

Steve Flash can talk you know….

[Jack Arthur sleeps soundly in his bed, the alarm clock on the dresser next to his bed reads 5:12 a.m. His phone rings, Jack in a sleep induced haze grabs for his alarm clock only to realize that it is his phone that is ringing. Jack answers the phone his voice sounding a little hoarse.]

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JackAvatar.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JackAvatar.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Jack Arthur: Hello…

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=TheStomper_alt1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/TheStomper_alt1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Stomper: Hey Jack did I wake you?

[Jack thinks to himself, of course you woke me up you idiot…it is five in the morning after all! What he says is:]

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JackAvatar.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JackAvatar.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Jack Arthur: Yeah, but it is no big deal…

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=TheStomper_alt1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/TheStomper_alt1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Stomper: Good, I wanted to call you because something has been bothering me as of late….Jack are you there? Did you fall back asleep?

[Jack had indeed fallen back to sleep. However, not wanting his boss to know this he replies:]

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JackAvatar.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JackAvatar.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Jack Arthur: No…no sir I did not fall asleep. I am just still a little bit out of it.

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=TheStomper_alt1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/TheStomper_alt1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Stomper: Good me boy, because what I am talking about is very important. Okay, now for the reason that I called. I want you to give Steve Flash some interview time! He is our main champion and the face of the company and all you have him doing is getting his assed kicked each and every week! How is he supposed to get over if he is not allowed to speak gosh darn it!

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JackAvatar.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JackAvatar.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Jack Arthur: Well to be honest Derek, Steve is not exactly the best talker…in fact I have asked him in the past if he wanted more interview time and he declined. He said that it was not really a strong suite of his and he felt uncomfortable doing it.

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=TheStomper_alt1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/TheStomper_alt1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Stomper: I don’t care if he likes doing it or not! The man has to get on the microphone and cut more promos! I am not cool with this whole let my wrestling speak for itself thing that he has going for himself!

[Jack thought to himself how Steve had never really done that many interviews since he has been in the NYCW. However, he thought better of making that statement because he knew once Stomper had a bee up his butt he was not going to stop until he got it out.]

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JackAvatar.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JackAvatar.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Jack Arthur: Okay Derek, I will clear sometime for him at the start of the next show.

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=TheStomper_alt1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/TheStomper_alt1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Stomper: Good me boy, that is all I am asking for. I will see you on the twelfth.

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JackAvatar.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JackAvatar.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Jack Arthur: Okay good. See you then boss, bye.

[Jack hangs up the phone and looks at the clock. He realizes that trying to get back to sleep would be a lost cause and so he gets out of bed and prepares for the day ahead…]

occ: I fixed the data to the best of my knowledge, and like I said I will be keeping this diary open. I do have to say one thing, I was really thinking about cheating and putting Sam Keith's sons under contract.:) However, in the end I did it the honest way and kept my roster as it was before I got rid of it.

Tempted at all to get Rick Sanders back on board, maybe..? :p

Flash is in pretty obvious need of a manager. Finding a babyface manager that fits him is kinda tough, even moreso with the NYCW's size limitations..perhaps putting him in an occassional tag team where his partner could do the talking might work though, maybe with Whistler?

New York City's Finest (Honest Frank & The Big Problem) vs. Steve Flash and Giant Tana

Because "already on the current roster" is such a red herring. I mean, obviously it'd be someone on the current roster - being on the roster isn't the same as being debuted! Very sneaky.. :p In all seriousness though, I'd pick Whistler as the partner.

Black Hat Bailey vs. Wiley Steinway

No-one named Wiley is beating a main eventer, I'm sorry.

Land Mass vs. Bradford Peverell and Brendan Idol

Brendon Idol has been inexplicably chosen as one of the biggest jobbers you have, despite being pretty useful, I can't see him even being on the winning team here.

For the NYCW Tag Team Championships:

The Sting vs. The Gang of New York

A title shot mid-way through a losing streak? Who are these guys blowing?! :p

Kirk Jameson vs. Dazzling Dave Diamond

Given the circumstances, Jameson really should win in his first months here.

Yeah I would like Rick Sanders back, yes he is bland but he is not that bad in the ring. I actually put him in PSW because he was unemployed and I felt the least I could do was give him a job.:D

With Steve Flash, I hate face managers. That being said he could use a manager, maybe I will do what I did with J-Ro and make a female wrestler his manager.

Funny that you should write that, as I was just writing up the card (I am on the Land Mass match) and I was thinking that Brendan could be a star. That is why I am jobbing him, hopefully he can job his way to the top.:)

I shall make no bones about it, I love writing for The Sting thus far. So I am going to try and put them on as much as possible. Do they deserve a title shot? No not really but with the OSP gone, I have no other heel tag teams to fight TGONY. So I figured that the Sting could try and win the belts. Plus they along with Eddie Howard are the only wrestlers to see their popularity go up, so that alone makes it worth my while to feature them.

There will be two more heel tag teams in the near future. Well as of right now there is only one. And I have to find a decent tag partner for The Masked Mauler.

It's not that you've had him lose, I mean I have a lot of very bright prospects in my diary that I have constantly losing, (See: Explosive Disorder) but it's the fact that you've singled him out as having a generic look (Seems like more of a pretty boy look to me, but whatever) that kinda has me thinking you don't see much potential in him..just seems odd to me, but maybe it's because I generally think of him as someone that's portrayed as a megastar, (Or someone who thinks he is one) an actual idol..so you signing him and making him your Guy Personsen just kinda struck me as off. :p

With Brendan, I kind of see him as a Spike Dudley/1,2,3 Kid type jobber. He always gets the crap kicked out of him but you no he will never surrender. And hopefully his program with Land Mass will get that across. If not...well who doesn't love to see a 500 pound dude beat the ever living crap out of a skinny jobber?:D

Thanks everybody for the picks glad to see two new people picking as well (being TakerNGN74 and foolinc) and of course Hyde, Marcel, and Zeel who have supported this from the start! This may sound lame, but I really do feel honored when ever anybody takes the time to vote. I would also like to thank everybody that voted for me for diary of the month, not sure that I am worthy of those votes but I am glad you all thought enough of this to give me the nod. And like I said this next show will probably go up either Saturday or Sunday.

Since you brought it up, I don't like seeing a 500 pound guy destroy a skinner jobber when it's Brendon Idol. Idol is a freaking star. Ok, so maybe I turned him into a star in my NEO diary, but still the point stands. Idol is awesome.

Its nice to see this get a good grasp. Great job thus far BHK. I'm starting to catch the NY feeling and I'm not liking it. JK. Anyways, good job and whatever your planning on TEW 2010, I'll be reading anyways. :)

New York City's Finest (Honest Frank & The Big Problem) vs. Steve Flash and the partner of his choosing (it will be somebody already on the current roster).

Lee Wright? Whistler?

Black Hat Bailey vs. Wiley Steinway

These two guys should be training the future, not fighting each other.

Land Mass vs. Bradford Peverell and Brendan Idol

I don't care I want Land Mass down on the enhancement talent!!!!

For the NYCW Tag Team Championships:

The Sting vs. The Gang of New York

Do they have a manager or not? I got the perfect chick to be their manager!!!

Kirk Jameson vs. Dazzling Dave Diamond

First off I would like to thank The Mystery and Purple Cowboy for their picks. Also, I just wanted to say that I may not get this out until Sunday/Monday night, as I forgot that the Fedor/Brett Rogers match was tonight and I plan on watching that.

Therefore, I will be nowhere near the computer until that is done. So unless I can finish the card this afternoon, there is no way it will be going up tonight or tomorrow afternoon as I had planned. Sorry about that.

Well one person I can tell you it will not be is Lee Wright.:D

Well I am always open to suggestions but I really have never been a fan of using fan favorite managers.

NYCW presents: Gang Wars

Saturday July 12, 2008

Location: Crawford Center, Brooklyn, New York

Attendance: 300

Overall Show Rating: D-

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=MitchNaess_alt1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/MitchNaess_alt1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Mitch Naess: Hello and welcome wrestling fans to NYCW’s annual event Top of the World! My name is Mitch Naess and I am joined tonight in the boot with my broadcast partners Herb Stately and Rock Downpour. Gentlemen, tonight we have yet another action packed card with our main event being the NYCW champion, Steve Flash and the partner of his choosing taking on New York City’s Finest members Honest Frank and The Big Problem!

Rock Downpour: That’s right man! Look for Steve Flash and his mystery partner to dole out justice the old fashion way. I think that Steve Flash will get his revenge for the beating that he took at the hands of New York City’s Finest a month ago.

Herb Stately: Well of course Steve Flash and his friend have a huge advantage tonight! And you wannna know why?

[Mitch and Rock nod their heads in unison.]

Herb Stately: Because only Steve Flash knows who his partner is tonight! Hell it could be anybody, and that my friends puts Honest Frank and The Big Problem at a huge disadvantage!

Mitch Naess: Well it looks like they won’t be at a disadvantage much longer, because I have just got word that the champ is on his way down to the ring to make his announcement!

[The lights do not go out this time, and Steve Flash makes a rather subdued entrance in front of the NYCW crowd. The fans still go nuts as their NYCW Empire champion makes his way down to ringside. He is noticeably limping, and it looks like he is in excruciating pain with every step he takes.

He finally slowly walks up the ring steps, winching in pain as he does so. He walks over to the NYCW‘s new ring announcer Cheerleader Nicki and asks her for the microphone. She complies and he thanks her, he then walks to the center of the ring and says:]

Steve Flash: I wanted to come out here tonight and talk about tonight’s main event. But before I do that, I wanted to thank each and every fan out there who took the time to send me letters wishing me well after the savage beat down I received at the hands of New York City’s Finest last month. You are truly the best fans in the world and I would just like to salute each and everyone of you.

[The fans start to cheer as Steve stands in the center of the ring and applauds them. He then continues:]

Yeah I am a little bruised and banged up from the beating that I took last month. Yeah I am limping a bit, but that comes with the territory. My pain is temporary, and Dishonest Frank truth be told, I would love to keep this pain if it means I stay in your head. I know Frank that you do not want to face me at one hundred percent because you are afraid of me. And as long as you stay afraid of me I will have to upper hand no matter what you do to me physically!

Now let me get to the real reason why I am out here tonight! Later on tonight, I am going to be in a tag team match against Never Honest Frank and The Big Turd! I was told that I could pick my partner tonight from anybody on the current NYCW roster, I chose….

[steve is interrupted by Metallica’s Better than you. Out steps The Big Problem and Honest Frank from the backstage area wearing their matching white satin jackets.]

[Frank already has a microphone in his left hand and he and Big Problem pause at the top of the new ramp that Stomper agreed to by after months and months of begging.]

Honest Frank: Hey Stevie, how’s the back doing? Did I notice a pronounced limp as you came to the ring tonight?

[The fans start the You‘re a liar chant right away. Which by the looks of it, is not making Frank a happy person.]

Steve Flash: The back is just fine Frank. In fact why don’t you come down to this ring and find out just how fine it is.

Honest Frank: All in good time there Stevie! Right now I am more interested in who our mystery opponent is tonight. Who would possibly want to team with you and risk the ire of New York City’s Finest?

Steve Flash: Well I was about to say who it was until…

[before Steve Flash could finish telling to crowd who his partner is Kirk Jameson hits Steve from behind!]

[Honest Frank and the Big Problem rush down to the ring and the three of them start beating down the champion. Despite taking one hell of a beating, Steve Flash refuses to stay down! Finally, Honest Frank says:]

Honest Frank: Honestly Steve, I don’t give a damn which loser you pick to face us tonight. I just wanted to get you in this ring so we could kick your…whoa….

[Honest Frank is knocked down from behind by the American Machine!]

[American Machine then proceeds to clean house fighting off both Jameson and the Big Problem. Finally, all three members of New York City‘s Finest have had enough and they roll out of the ring. American Machine picks up the microphone and says:]

American Machine: In case you guys haven’t realized it yet, I am Steve’s mystery partner tonight! And I can not wait to kick your asses! Oh and Frank…that’s the honest truth!

[Honest Frank looks absolutely terrified once he hears this as his two associates flank him on either side. The three members of New York City‘s Finest flee to the back as American Machine checks on the champion. We go back up to the announcers table.]

Segment Rating: D

Mitch Naess: Whoa! How about that! Steve Flash and American Machine are a tag team tonight! Can anybody say dream team?

Rock Downpour: I sure can! But I think for Frank and the Big Problem, they are going to be more like the nightmare team!

Herb Stately: Words do not describe how unfair this is to New York City’s Finest! Why should they have to face not one champion but two! I can not believe the NYCW matchmakers would do this to them! How dear they do this to poor Honest Frank! A man of his honesty and integrity does not deserve to be treated this way!

Mitch Naess: Well New York City’s Finest has made their beds, now they must lie in them. I will tell you this much, I would not want to be in their shoes tonight. I have just gotten word that Stomper has requested that Land Mass meet him in his office. We happen to have a cameraman back there so lets here what Stomper has to say to Land Mass…

[We are taking to the back where we see Stomper sitting at an old wooden desk with tons of papers on it. On either side of Stomper there is a cheap plastic plant. Despite this being an entirely different arena then last month‘s, Stomper’s office looks exactly the same. One has to guess that some poor bastard has to set it up each and every month. Anyway, Stomper is sitting at his desk and Land Mass enters Stomper‘s office. Stomper stands a looks at Land Mass:]

Stomper: Have a seat Land Mass, me boy.

[stomper gestures towards a couch which is near his desk. However, Land Mass is totally oblivious to this gesture and walks over to a wooden chair in which is directly in front of Stomper’s desk. Before he can sit down on the wooden chair, and probably break said chair, Stomper says:]

Stomper: No, no not in that chair! I think you would be more comfortable on the couch.

[Land Mass nods and walks over to the couch and sits down.]

Stomper: I asked to see you tonight because I wanted to discuss, the savage attack you committed last month on Bradford and Brendan. You see, after the event last month, I received a lot of emails from irate fans, asking me how I could let you attack these two young men when they did nothing to provoke you. One fan asked me how could I not suspend you for your deeds.

Now I am sure you had some very good reasons as to why you did what you did. However, as you know that fans are our customers. And I, as owner of NYCW, have to listen to every complaint that they make. So I had to think of a reasonable punishment for you for your unprovoked attack last month. Now, suspending you was never an option because that would do you no good. I mean what lesson could you possibly learn by being suspended?

No, instead I am going to put you in a two-on-one handicap match! And your opponents are going to be Brendan Idol and Bradford Prevell! The very men you attacked last month! That way the fans get what they want, being you in a two-on-one match, and you get what I guess you want…

[Land Mass nods as he has a huge grin on his face and he starts to lick his lips and rub his hands together.]

Stomper: Good, do you have any questions?

[Land Mass nods his head no, and Stomper continues:]

Stomper: Okay then, you are dismissed. Off you go, your match is about to start…

[Land Mass walks out of Stomper‘s office and Stomper goes back to doing his paper work.]

Segment Rating: ??? (Forgot to take it down. And it was lost when I deleted my saved game file.)

Mitch Naess: I am not sure that Stomper really punished Land Mass at all!

Rock Downpour: I tend to agree with you Mitch. Did you see how happy Land Mass was once he heard who his opponents were tonight?

Herb Stately: I think that you have mistaken happiness for nervousness. Land Mass might be the king of the cruiserweights, but even a small man his size is going to have his work cut out for him tonight. I mean the guy has to take on two guys at once, I think that, that is fair punishment for him.

Mitch Naess: I guess we will see how he fears against these two men, as his match is about to start right now. Let us go down to the ring for the wrestler’s introductions.

Brendan Idol &

vs. Land Mass

[brendan Idol actually gets a ring introduction this month and the fans react with a great amount of indifference as this youngster has yet to connect with the fans here in NYCW. One could probably say the reason why the fans have yet to connect to his is due to the fact that they never see him win.]

[Kansas‘ Carry On Waywad Son starts to play over the sound system and out steps Bradford Peverell from behind the backstage curtain. The fans give Bradford more cheers then they did his partner for the night but it was not really much of a reaction.]

[Land Mass‘ theme starts to play over the sound system as the 433 pound behemoth from Tulsa, Oklahoma slowly makes his way down to the ring.

New NYCW ring announcer, Cheerleader Nicki, once again makes the mistake of announcing Land Mass‘ real weight, which causes Land Mass to come over and threaten her. Nicki quickly corrects her error and announces Land Mass as being the best cruiserweight in wrestling today. Land Mass smiles at Nicki and licks his lips and winks at her. Nicki is obviously very grossed out by this and hurries out of the ring.]

[This match is once again your typical Land Mass match. The boring catcalls can be heard throughout the match. The interesting thing about this match is that Land Mass is paying little to no attention to Bradford. All of his rage and fury seem to be focused on Brendan. In fact, Bradford rolls in and out of the ring and stays on the floor, allowing Land Mass to beat the crap out of his partner.

Finally, a huffing and puffing Land Mass decides to end this match when he takes Brendan’s lifeless body and puts it up against the ropes and he hits him with the Ten Ton Avalanche (Running corner body splash) he then moves the lifeless body of Brendan Idol to the center of the ring and pinned him 1,2,3 for the victory. While this is happening, a seemingly disinterested Bradford Peverell stands outside the ring unwilling to help his partner out. After Land Mass wins, he looks down at Brendan Idol‘s lifeless body and smiles.]

Winner: Land Mass

Time: 7:20

Rating: E

Mitch Naess: Land Mass is one of the most vicious and sadistic men here in NYCW!

Rock Downpour: Yeah, and why was he just focusing on Brendan Idol tonight? He did not even pay all that much attention to Bradford Peverell. Also, why was Bradford standing outside of the ring for most of the match? I mean the dude must know that, that match will go down as a loss for him as well even if he did not actually participate in it.

Herb Stately: What Bradford Peverell did tonight was brilliant, if you ask me! Why risk life and limb, in a match against that monster when you are not even said monster’s target? I have to had it to Bradford, there are no flies on that young man…

Mitch Naess: Well that may be the case, but he still should have given Brendan Idol some help in this match. I mean can you imagine what Brendan’s medical bills are going to be after his encounters with Land Mass! Anyway let us go back….

[Mitch is interrupted when all of a sudden, The Moody Blues’, Nights In Whit Satin starts to play across the sound system of the Crawford Center. Upon hearing the beginning of the sound Mitch Naess says:]

Mitch Naess:

Who in the hell would be lame enough to choose this as their entrance theme?

[Just as he finishes saying that out steps New York City’s Finest in their matching white satin jackets.]

[Mitch Naess then says:]

Mitch Naess: I should have known….

[Much like Mitch, it would appear that the fans really hate the Moody Blues as well. As it would seem that NYC‘s Finest is getting booed louder then ever before as they make their way to the ring. As always Honest Frank and The Big Problem take the time to taunt Front Row Franny before they enter the ring. Finally, all three members of NYC‘s Finest enter the ring. Honest Frank gets a microphone from Cheerleader Nicki and before he starts to speak he is greeted with a new chant, the fans start to chant, “Your song sucks!“. Frank looks extremely pissed off by this new chant.]

Honest Frank: How dare you people chant that! I personally picked this song out myself! Not only are you troglodytes dumb as rocks, but you have no taste in music either!

[Frank starts to pace back and forth, trying to calm himself down. Finally, he starts to speak again:]

Honest Frank: Before I came out here I said to myself, I would not let you slanderous liars get to me. And you know what? You people have no power over a man of such high moral fiber as myself!

[The fans start up the, “You‘re a liar“ chants. Honest Frank clearly is not pleased with this either. He starts to do some deep breathing exercises in the center of the ring to calm himself down. Kirk Jameson walks over to Honest Frank and asks him if he is all right.]

Honest Frank: I’m all right Kirk, thanks for asking. My doctor told me to do these deep breathing exercises to calm myself down and they really see to be working….

Now let me get back to the reason why I am out here. Last month, I added Kirk Jameson to the greatest group in the history of wrestling. However, even though Kirk was a great addition to this group, I still felt we needed one more piece to this puzzle.

I spent the last month searching for a talent that would be able to be the last piece of this puzzle of greatness. I had almost given up hope, knowing full well that it would be damn near impossible to find someone who would be good enough to run with us.

However, it was at that moment in time, when my hope was no longer there, that I found a man who was fully capable of running with us. A man that will help us reach the heights! Without further ado, I would like to introduce you all to the final member of New York City’s Finest! I give you.....Frankie Perez!

[Frankie Perez is actually known to some of the people in the NYCW crowd, for his work is CZCW. The crowd still boos the crap out of him due to the fact that he aligned himself with New York City‘s Finest. Frankie does not seem to mind this one bit, as he walks down to the ring with an arrogant smirk on his face.

Front Row Franny starts to shout at Frankie when he gets in front of her. He turns looks at her and blows her a kiss. He then enters the ring and he walks over and hugs the other three members of New York City’s Finest. He then takes the microphone from Honest Frank and says:]

Frankie Perez: You people are truly the dumbest fans in the world!

[He pauses to soak in the boos from the crowd before he continues.]

Frankie Perez: The people you cheer for truly boggles my mind. You cheer for a man with the I.Q. of a stick just because he comes to the ring waving the American flag and shouting USA, you cheer for a tag team who willingly pumps cancer inside your bodies and promotes alcohol abuse, you cheer for an Empire champion who was the personality of a door! These are the people you chose as your heroes? These are the men that you want your children to look up to?

My question to fans is this, why do you cheer these people of low character? Why do you boo the men in the ring with me. Why do you boo Kirk Jameson, one of the best young wrestlers in the business? Why do you boo The Big Problem, who is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world today? Why do you boo me, a man who you do not know? And most importantly, why do you boo Honest Frank, the most honest man in professional wrestling today?

Why? I will tell you why! The reason why you boo us, is because you see our greatness and are jealous of us!

Now I cannot blame you for being jealous of our greatness. In fact I completely understand it. I will say this, over the next few months you fans will have to cheer us because we will wipe out all of your so called heroes! Therefore, in the end all you will have left to cheer is us, New York City’s Finest!

[Frankie hands the microphone back over to Honest Frank, so that Frank can say his catchphrase:]

Honest Frank: And that is the honest truth!

Segment Rating: D-

[With that New York City‘s Finest exit the ring, and we go back up to the announcer booth.]

Mitch Naess: I hate to say this, but it looks like New York City’s Finest just keeps on getting stronger!

Rock Downpour: Yeah, it seems like they are building one dominate alliance. I am not sure if Steve Flash and friends will be able to combat such a strong alliance...

Herb Stately: Of course Steve Flash, and any ally he might be able to find, cannot match up with the greatest collection of wrestler’s this business has ever seen. I can’t believe that I am about to say this, but I truly do feel bad for Steve Flash because it would appear that his career might just come to an end with New York City’s Finest gunning for him!

Mitch Naess: Well one of the members of this elite group is in the ring right now for our next match. So let us go back down to the ring.

<a href="

vs. Dazzling Dave Diamond with Fern Hathaway

[As Mitch Naess just said Kirk Jameson did not leave the ring with his compatriots as he is involved in the next match.]

[Diamonds From Sierra Leone starts to play on the sound system as Dazzling Dave Diamond, who is accompanied to the ring by his manager Fern Hathaway, makes his way down to the ring. The fans give Dave a warm welcome despite not having the best win-loss record.]

[This match is really good by the standards of an NYCW match. One would think that this match is so good because Dave and Kirk have great chemistry in the ring. They really seem to gel, and the fans have picked up on this fact. Both men get in almost an equal amount of offense as the match progresses, with Kirk finally getting the upper hand in the match when he rakes the eyes of Dave. Kirk finally hits DDD with The Bullseye (Facebreaker DDT) and covers him for the pin and the victory.]

Winner: Kirk Jameson

Time: 8:30

Rating: D-

Mitch Naess: What an impressive in-ring debut for Kirk Jameson!

Rock Downpour: Yeah as c0cky as he and his allies are, I do have to admit that those boys get it done in the ring.

Herb Stately: Of course they do! Why do you think they call themselves New York City’s Finest? It isn’t because they suck…it is because they are the best group of wrestlers in the business today!

Mitch Naess: Well I can not really argue with you on that point. All I know is…oh boy, I am told we must go to the back where The Sting have requested some time to address the NYCW tag team champions The Gang of New York who are their opponents tonight. I can’t wait to hear this….

[We are brought to the back, where we see Roger Dodger and Sammy the Shark sitting in a dingy locker room. Sammy is shuffling his deck of cards. While, Roger is looking at himself in an hand held mirror. Neither of them seem to notice that the camera is on them. Roger says:]

Roger Dodger: Sometimes people ask me if I believe in god…., I ponder the question for a while and then I pick up a mirror, look in it, and I say, yes I believe in god because I see him in the mirror staring back at me!

[sammy the Shark shakes his head and laughs at this ridiculous comment. He turns to look at Roger, and while doing so sees the camera and says:]

Sammy the Shark: Hey Rog the camera guy is here! I guess it is time for our interview!

[Roger stops admiring himself in the mirror and looks at the camera and says:]

Roger Dodger: Ah, welcome! You know, my partner and I are not going to address the fans here in NYCW in the ring, until they show me the proper respect. I am sick and tired of you people calling me big baby! I am a man who has the occasional meltdown. However, that does not give you the right to refer to me as a baby! So like I said until you show me the proper respect, I will not address you in the ring.

In the past couple of months, we have suffered loss after loss. Granted we were robbed out of those matches, and I do believe that referee Michael Bull is legally blind but that is neither here nor there. The fact of the matter is my partner and I have had time to regroup from our temporary setback and…

Sammy the Shark: Yeah and….

[before Sammy can finish talking, Roger puts his hand up meaning that he wants Sammy to stop talking.]

Sammy the Shark: But…you said I could talk during the interview tonight…

Roger Dodger: Dude, in a minute, I am not finished….Now where was I? Oh…tonight my partner and I are going to get our shot at the NYCW Tag Team championships! Tonight we are going to take on those two-bit unwashed wanna be rejects from the Village People, The Gang of New York.

Gang of New York, you think that you intimidate us with your leather jackets and your swearing in interviews? Not at all! You two are not tough, you two are just cartoon caricatures! And tonight when we go out to the ring and beat you pillar to post we will finally get the respect that we deserve.

Now I know a lot fans have complained about us getting a title show in the middle of our so called losing streak. I just want those fans to know that the NYCW championship committee knows greatness when they see it. Therefore, they gave us our title shot which we so richly deserve. So you smarks out there, can sit behind your computers and say we don’t deserve a title shot. However, after tonight when we walk out of here with the NYCW tag team championships, you will all worship and adore us. I guarantee it!

Sammy the Shark: Can I talk now?

Roger Dodger: No we have to get down to the ring our match is next…

Sammy the Shark: Man I never get to talk…

Segment Rating: E+

[sammy and Roger leave the locker room area to head out to the match. We go back up to the announcer booth.]

Mitch Naess: Despite being in a rather long losing streak The Sting’s confidence remains at an all time high.

Herb Stately: And why shouldn’t it? These two young men are the future of our industry. And after tonight they will be the new NYCW tag team champions!

Rock Downpour: Do you guarantee it?

Herb Stately (sounding not to sure of himself): Ah…yeah why not…of course I guarantee it!

Mitch Naess: We are about to find out one way or another as The Sting are about to make their way to the ring! Let us go back down to ringside for the wrestler’s introductions!

vs.

[The Sting step out from the backstage curtain and the are immediately greeted with the You’re a big baby (which is directed at Roger) chant from the crowd. On there way to the ring, Sammy the Shark looks into the camera and says, “Living Large baby, living large!” Roger just shakes his head, obviously embarrassed that his partner continues to say his lame catch phrase.

Once inside the ring Sammy walks to the middle of the ring and spreads his arms apart looking very much like the Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro. While Sammy stands next to him showing off his deck of cards.]

[The house lights dim and the spotlight starts circling the arena as nobody knows where The Gang of New York are going to come out. Bad To The Bone by George Thorogood comes blasting over the sound system. After a few seconds the crowd starts to go wild, as The Gang of New York make their customary entrance through the crowd, drinking beer and smoking their cigars. However, this time they are both sporting the NYCW tag team championships which each man has flung over their shoulder.]

[Finally, after their customary lengthy walk to the ring The Gang of New York enter the ring and the crowd is still going wild for them. They hand the tag team titles over to NYCW senior referee Michael Bull, who proceeds to walk over to The Sting and show them the tag team titles. He then holds both belts above his head showing them to the crowd.]

[This match is exactly what the crowd has grown to expect from The Gang of New York, a wild brawl both in and out of the ring. Referee Michael Bull does a rather conservative count while all four men are outside of the ring. This match seemed to bring the crowd‘s mood down. Then again what does not bring these fans mood down?

When all was said and done The Sting actually put up a valiant effort against the tag champs. However, in the end The Gang of New York were just to tough and they ended up winning when David Bonham hit Roger Dodger with the Grease Spot and pinned him for the victory.]

Winners and still NYCW Tag Team champions: The Gang of New York

Time: 7:38

Rating: D-

[After the match, Roger Dodger starts to cry. Sammy walks over to his tag team partner and consoles him. Roger is heard yelling, “It‘s not fair!”. The fans start chanting, “You‘re a cry baby” at Roger as he and Sammy the Shark leave the ring.]

Mitch Naess: Well another month, another match, and another loss for The Sting!

Roger Dodger: Yeah man, I don’t know about you all but, I am really having a tough time seeing a grown man cry like that month after month. I think Roger should go see a therapist because the dude clearly has some issues!

Herb Stately: Roger has no issues, the man is a bit overly emotional. So what? Isn’t that what the chicks like these days anyway? A man who is in touch with his feelings? No wonder why Roger gets all the chicks…

Mitch Naess: Well Roger may be in touch with his feelings but he and Sammy are going to have to turn this losing streak around if they want to be considered a credible tag team. I have just been informed by my producer that Joanne Rodriguez and Mr. Jiminez have requested some time to address Sam Pratt. So let us go back down to the ring.

[Kanye West‘s Flashing Lights starts to play which can only mean one thing the lovely Joanne Rodriguez comes through the backstage curtain.]

[she is wearing very short low cut green dress, she has the microphone in her right hand and she holds it up while she starts to talk.]

J-Ro: Ladies and gentlemen, and by the looks of all you in the crowd tonight I use that term loosely, it is my privilege to introduce to you the greatest wrestler in the world today! Mr. Jiminez!

[The crowd boos as J-Ro stands and claps her hands. Finally, Mr. Jiminez comes through the backstage curtain wearing his customary black Armani suit and black sunglasses.]

[The fans really start to boo when they are finally able to see him. Mr. Jiminez walks over to J-Ro and

hispers something in her ear.]

J-Ro: Mr. Jiminez would like the crowd to know that he still refuses to speak your god awful language. He also wants you the unwashed masses to know that if you are going to stand there and jeer him, at least show him the proper respect and jeer him in Spanish. After all in twenty years or so we will have taken over your country so you might as well get used to your future native tongue!

[The crowd goes insane after this last statement, even the Hispanic fans in the crowd are loudly booing. J-Ro continues:]

J-Ro: Boo us all you want! You know it is the truth! And for you latino brothers and sisters in the crowd who are booing us, realize this you are all considered traders in our books and when we take over you will be treated as such!

[A, “F**k you J-Ho” chant starts to gain traction in the crowd. Mr. Jiminez whispers something in J-Ro‘s ear.]

J-Ro: My client wants to send a message out to Sam Pratt tonight. Mr. Pratt last month my client gave you a friendly warning, back off and he would not destroy you. You did not back off so he destroyed you. Mr. Jiminez has just told me that it crushes his spirit to have to beat you month in and month out.

[Mr. Jiminez whispers in J-Ro‘s ear once again. She smiles and nods her head.]

J-Ro: Mr. Jiminez has just informed me that despite having to be in the presence of these low life fans, he is in a rather good mood. Therefore, he wants to ask you Sam Pratt to come out here and help him mend the friendship that the two of you once had.

[sam Pratt comes out from the backstage area and starts to head to the ring.]

[He has a look of apprehension on his face as he walks to the ring. All of a sudden, he is hit from behind and knocked to the floor. The fans gasp as Mr. Salazar (aka Puerto Rican Power) attacks Sam Pratt from behind!]

[Mr. Salazar then proceeds to piledrive Sam Pratt twice on the concrete floor, much to the delight of Mr. Jiminez and J-Ro who both stand in the ring smiling ear to ear and clapping for their comrade. Some NYCW staff come over to check on Sam Pratt as Mr. Jiminez and J-Ro, join Mr. Salazar in admiring the carnage that he just unleashed on Sam Pratt.]

Segment Rating: D-

Mitch Naess: I…I am at a…loss for words…

Rock Downpour: Yeah I hear you man…that was the man, who many wrestling fans around here knew as Puerto Rican Power, is one of the most savage, violent, wrestlers in the business today…and now he is here in NYCW and he is joining forces with Mr. Jiminez…I would not want to be Sam Pratt right now…

Herb Stately: Why are you guys in such a somber mood? Sam Pratt got what was coming to him. Like Kenny Rogers used to say, “You got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them. Know when to walk away.” And unfortunately for Sam Pratt he just does know when to fold them and just walk away…

Mitch Naess: I don’t even know how you can make jokes at a time like this. We may have witnessed the ending of a mans career just now and you are busy singing Kenny Rogers’ songs. What the hell is wrong with you? Ah…don’t answer that, we have to go back up to the ring for our next match.

[The theme song from Raw Hide starts off the show tonight as Wiley Steinway makes his way down to the ring. As Wiley makes his way down to the ring he high fives every fan that he has the chance to. When he gets in front of Front Row Franny he stops and gives her a hug, he then enters the ring.]

[The house lights dim and the spotlight shines on the wrestler‘s entrance. Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears For Fears starts to play, and out steps Black Hat Bailey from behind the backstage curtain. Bailey is greeted again with a chorus of boos and he is pelted with all sorts of garbage as he makes his way to the ring.

This does not bother Bailey at all, in fact he seems to enjoy it! He smiles at the crowd and waves, knowing full well that this will piss them off even more. When Bailey gets in front of Front Row Franny he tips his hat to her. Franny is livid and starts using every cuss word under the sun to let Bailey know just how she feels about him. The house lights come back on as Bailey enters the ring, he starts to jog around the inside of the ring while waiting for NYCW Senior referee Michael Bull to start the match.]

[The match starts and Bailey and Wiley go at it like cats and dogs (And no I don‘t mean the dog that mounts the cat and has its way with the cat sexually. Get your minds out of the gutter here people!). This match is exactly what you would expect from these two, a hard hitting brawl where they try and beat the ever living crap out of each other. Both men got in roughly, the same amount of offense.

The match came to an end when Wiley “accidentally“ hit referee Michael Bull with a clothesline when Bailey intentionally moved out of the way knowing full well that Michael Bull was standing behind him. While Wiley was busy checking on Michael Bull, Bailey went into his tights and pulled out a pair of brass knuckles. He proceeded to put them on and he then nailed Wiley with a killer right (which was the hand that he was wearing the brass knuckles on). Upon knocking Wiley out, Bailey went over to revive Michael Bull. After he successfully revived Michael Bull, Bailey pinned Wiley while a groggy Michael Bull made the count.]

Winner: Black Hat Bailey

Time: 8:41

Rating: D

[A very pleased Bailey soaks in the boos from the fans. He looks down at Wiley Steinway and decides that he has not hurt him enough. Bailey proceeds to walk around Wiley and stomp on him.]

[This post-match beat down does not last all that long, as Bailey’s arch-enemy Whistler

once again comes running into the ring to save yet another of Bailey’s victims from a further savage beat down at the hands of Bailey. Upon the arrival of his rival, Black Hat Bailey rolls out of the ring and runs to the backstage area, while Whistler checks to see if Wiley is all right.]

Both segments rating: D-

Mitch Naess: Why does Bailey feel the need to stomp on his opponents after every match!

Rock Downpour: Because he is nothing but a Bully! You know that man has not won one match where he hasn’t cheated!

Herb Stately: Don’t say such a ridiculous thing! Bailey wins because he is a great wrestler, end of story. I have yet to see him cheat in a match. And Mitch to answer your question, why not? Why wouldn’t Bailey stomp on his fallen opponents? You have to make sure that you take care of them before they take care of you. I think that that is a very valuable lesson that we can all learn from our friend Black Hat Bailey.

Mitch Naess: Oh brother….well anyway our Main Event is about to start. Gentlemen do you have any final thoughts on tonight’s main event before we go back down to the ring?

Rock Downpour: Yeah like you said earlier, with Steve Flash and American Machine pairing together, the NYCW fans are in for a treat tonight. This Dream Team will have their hands full with New York City’s Finest, but I am confident that they can get the job done tonight!

Herb Stately: This so called Dream Team might have had some sort of advantage at the beginning of the night. However, that was before Frankie Perez showed up here in NYCW and joined New York City’s Finest! Now that Frankie is here, I believe that your Dream Team stands not one shot in hell of winning tonight!

Mitch Naess: Well we are about to find out, let us go back to the ring for the wrestler’s introductions.

vs. American Machine & Steve Flash

[The house lights go down as The Moody Blues‘ Nights In White Satin starts to play over the sound system. Out steps the four members of New York City‘s Finest all wearing their matching white satin jackets. The fans a chanting all sorts of stuff at the various members of NYC’s Finest. There are so many chants going at once that I would be a fool trying to list all of them. Anyway, Honest Frank and The Big Problem once again stop in front of Front Row Franny and lob some insults about her age at her. This gets Franny going, as she insanely yells insults back at them.]

[Jimi Hendrix’s version of The Star Spangled Banner starts to play and out steps the reining Tri-State Regional champion, American Machine, much to the delight of the fans. As Machine makes his way down to the ring he slaps the fans hands. Once American Machine enters the ring, the members of NYC‘s Finest exit the ring and stand outside the ring yelling various taunts at the American Machine.]

[The houselights dim, and there is a hush that seems to come over the crowd as everybody in attendance awaits the arrival of the Empire Champion. Finally Jumping Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones starts to blare across the sound system. The spotlight shines on the wrestlers entranceway, Steve Flash soon appears from behind the backstage curtain and he limps down to the ring. The crowd goes nuts for Steve Flash as they start to sing along with the Rolling Stones hit.

When Steve enters the ring he does not do his usual climbing of the ring ropes as his body is just not in the condition to do so. Instead he stands in the corner and eagerly awaits the start of the match.]

[The bell rings. and the minute that Honest Frank sees that it will be the American Machine starting things out for his team, Honest Frank decides that he would like to start things off for his team. These two men go at it for the first minute or so of the match. However, the minute American Machine tags Steve Flash in, Honest Frank runs in terror over to his own partner and tags him in.

And that is pretty much the theme of the match. Whenever Steve Flash is in the ring, Honest Frank is not due to him being afraid of the Empire champion. As the match goes on the team of Big Problem and Honest Frank gain the upper hand. And the two of them start to perform classic double team moves on the American Machine, effectively cutting the ring in half so that the Machine cannot tag his partner in.

This goes on for a few minutes, until Machine is able to hot tag his partner in. And it just so happens that Honest Frank is in the ring at the time of the tag. The minute Honest Frank sees the tag he tries to run over to his own corner to tag in The Big Problem. However, this time there is nothing doing, as Steve Flash tackles Honest Frank from behind and drags him, feet first, to the center of the ring.

Steve starts to ground and pound Honest Frank, but he is met by a boot to the back by The Big Problem. The American Machine, who is not about to stand idly by and watch the Big Problem attack his hurt partner, enters the ring and starts to brawl with the Big Problem. A brawl which spills out to the floor below.

While Problem and Machine are fighting on the outside of the ring, Steve Flash has Honest Frank leg firmly secured in a figure four leg lock. When it looks like Honest Frank is about to tap, Frankie Perez and Kirk Jameson enter the ring and attack Steve Flash. Leading to the team of Steve Flash and American Machine winning via D.Q.]

Winners: Steve Flash & American Machine

Time: 12:55

Rating: D-

[Post-match Frankie and Kirk continue their beat down of the Empire champion, while Honest Frank sits in the corner rubbing the leg which was just in the figure four leg lock. On the outside of the ring, the American Machine has gained the upper hand on The Big Problem as he drills The Big Problem in the head with a steel chair. He then enters the ring and clears the ring out as the rest of NYC‘s Finest flee from the chair wielding Machine. The screen fades to black as American Machine is checking on his fallen partner…]
