<p>Quick picks for The King of New York Tag Team Tournament:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Round 1:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Team A: The Gang of New York</strong> vs. Team B: Land Mass & Lee Wright</p><p>

Tag Champs vs. strung together heel team..yeah.</p><p> </p><p>

Team C: The North American Connection vs.<strong>Team D: Mr. Salazar & Mr. Jiminez</strong></p><p>

Main Event big-men heels vs. Midcard rookie tag team..yeah. </p><p> </p><p>

Team E: Wiley Coyote vs. <strong>Team F: New York City’s Finest: Tag Team Division</strong></p><p>

Barely relevant veterans vs. White-hot, highly pushed young guns..yeah.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Team G: Sam Pratt & Jumbo Jackson</strong> vs. Team H: The Sting</p><p>

Talented underdog and his massive friend vs. the team that never wins anything..yeah.</p><p> </p><p>

Semi-Finals:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Gang Of New York</strong> vs. Mr. Salazar and Mr. Jiminez</p><p>

Salazar and Jiminez make a good tough team to wear the Gang Of New York down...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>New York City's Finest: Tag Team Division</strong> vs. Sam Pratt & Jumbo Jackson</p><p>

...and Pratt and Jackson make good opponents, until Jiminez/Salazar make their way out and screw them out of the match..</p><p> </p><p>

Finals:</p><p> </p><p>

The Gang Of New York vs. <strong>New York City's Finest: Tag Team Division</strong></p><p>

..thereby meaning that NYCF:TTD end up with an easier tourny than the Gang Of New York, thus giving them the edge needed to defeat them, and giving TGONY an arguement for the rematch. Came up with all that in a matter of seconds..yeah.</p><p> </p><p>

Triple Threat Match to see who will face Steve Flash for the Empire Title on the December card:</p><p> </p><p>

Black Hat Bailey vs. <strong>Honest Frank</strong> vs. The Big Problem</p><p>

Frank wins, setting up for what looks to be the big blowoff PPV, by letting TBP and BHB beat the hell out of each other, and then swooping in at the end for the pinfall, but will later say that he dominated them both all match, and surely everyone will beleive him..yeah.</p><p> </p><p>

Battle Royal winner: American Machine</p><p> </p><p>

First eliminated: The Masked Mauler, thereby implying that the Old School Principals are CUUUUUURSED. DAMNED FROM THE START, NEVER TO BE EMPLOYED AGAIN..yeah.</p>

My name is Mitch Naess and I am joined tonight in the boot with my broadcast partners Herb Stately and Rock Downpour. Gentlemen, tonight we have yet another action packed card with our main event being a Triple-Threat Match between Black Hat Bailey, The Big Problem, and Honest Frank! And the winner of tonight’s main event will earn the right to take on Steve Flash at our annual year end show in December!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><a href="</p><a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=RockDownpour_alt2.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=RockDownpour_alt2.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/RockDownpour_alt2.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/RockDownpour_alt2.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Rock Downpour: Yeah Mitch, this should be one hell of a main event! I have to admit when I saw that the fans chose Bailey, The Big Problem, and Honest Frank to be in tonight’s main event, I was a bit shocked! However, that is what makes tonight’s event great; the fans chose who would be competing on the show! </p><p> </p><p> Mitch Naess: Do you think the fans chose Honest Frank and The Big Problem to be in the main event because of their little tiff at last month’s show?</p><p> </p><p> Rock Downpour: No doubt, the fans probably really want to see these two members of New York City’s Finest go at it. And you know what? I don’t blame them, hell let’s really see if everything is okay between these two like they have said. </p><p> </p><p> [Herb Stately starts to clap his hand after Rock finishes talking. Both Rock and Mitch look at him like, why are you clapping. Herb starts to smile and says:]</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><a href="</p><a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=HerbStately.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=HerbStately.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/HerbStately.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/HerbStately.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Herb Stately: I am sure that you are both wondering why I am clapping. I am clapping because the fans of NYCW finally got something right. Maybe they are not the morons that I thought they were…well I can’t go that far. You know I am usually not a fan of the general public having the right to vote. However, our fans actually saw that the best three men on the roster to challenge that Michael Bolton look-a-like were Bailey, Frank, and The Big Problem.</p><p> </p><p> To that I say kudos to the fans that voted! I am glad that Whistler’s nation is not as strong as I thought it was, all though I highly doubt any fan of Whistler is smart enough to turn on a computer and so therefore they were unable to vote. I am also glad that, that ham and egger American Machine got nowhere near tonight’s main event! The three men that most deserve to be in the main event are in the main event. </p><p> </p><p> Mitch Naess: Well we can talk all night as to why the fans chose who they chose, but the fact of the matter is the card is set and the action is about to begin! With that being said let us go down to the ring for the first match of the night, which is the first match in round one of the Kings of New York Tag Team Tournament!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>First Round Match-up of the Kings of New York Tag Team Tournament:</strong></p><p> </p><p> <a href="<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=TrentShaffer.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=TrentShaffer.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/TrentShaffer.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/TrentShaffer.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><a href="<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=CaliforniaLoveMachine.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=CaliforniaLoveMachine.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/CaliforniaLoveMachine.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/CaliforniaLoveMachine.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><a href="<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=vs.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=vs.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/vs.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/vs.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><a href="<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=PuertoRicanPower.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=PuertoRicanPower.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/PuertoRicanPower.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/PuertoRicanPower.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <strong>&</strong> <a href="<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=HandsomeStranger_alt2.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=HandsomeStranger_alt2.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/HandsomeStranger_alt2.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/HandsomeStranger_alt2.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <strong>with </strong> <a href="<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JoanneRodriguez_alt1.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JoanneRodriguez_alt1.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JoanneRodriguez_alt1.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JoanneRodriguez_alt1.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a></p><p> </p><p> <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYRC4H64EFk" rel="external nofollow">The North American Connection</a> vs. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HbCt6nXsv4" rel="external nofollow">Mr. Salazar & Mr. Jiminez with Joanne Rodriguez</a></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> [Welcome to the Jungle starts to play on the arena‘s sound system as The North American Connection make their way down to the ring. Tonight the lovely Ms. Rodriguez is wearing a short low-cut red dress which is showing off her…assets very nicely if I must say so myself. The fans immediately start the “J-HO” chants upon seeing J-Ro. J-Ro is followed by her clients Mr. Salazar and Mr. Jiminez who look at the crowd with much disdain as they make their way down the ramp and into the ring. The chant of Super Starfish has begun along side the J-HO chant. </p><p> </p><p> Finally, the three of them make it to the ring where Mr. Jiminez and Mr. Salazar follow J-Ro up the ring steps. Mr. Jiminez instructs her to hold the ring ropes open for him and Mr. Salazar. Which she does, Mr. Jiminez and Mr. Salazar enter the ring and both men walk to the center of the ring. J-Ro joins them in the center and she holds up their hands. The crowd boos loudly at this duo.]</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="24648" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>[This match was one of the best matches of the night and the fans actually really got into it. The match was quite even with both teams getting in a good amount of offense. If you have question you should address me and only me! Now to answer your question, we are going to win of course. I mean after all we are the greatest tag team in wrestling today. Are we not?</p><p> </p><p> [Cheerleader Nicki still hurting from Roger‘s iron grip on her arm says:]</p><p> </p><p> Cheerleader Nicki: Ca…can you please let my arm go…you are hurting me.</p><p> </p><p> [Roger looking stunned that he was actually hurting her lets go of her arm and says:]</p><p> </p><p> Roger Dodger: Sorry sweet cheeks…now getting back to what I was saying. You know many internet dweebs have been commenting on the fact that we were not on the show last month. The internet dweebs have speculated that it was because we are on a horrible losing streak. Well that is just not true, you see Sammy and I needed to recharge our batteries. So we hopped on a plane to Vegas and we enjoyed some wine, some women…well not some…maybe lots would be a more apt description…and some song!</p><p> </p><p> [Cheerleader Nicki looks at Sammy as if to say what in the hell is he talking about. Sammy just smiles at her and shrugs his shoulders. Roger continues his speech:]</p><p> </p><p> Roger Dodger: And you know what happened after Sammy and I went to Vegas?</p><p> </p><p> [Cheerleader Nicki just looks at Roger without even a response.]</p><p> </p><p> Roger Dodger: Well I can’t tell you sweet cheeks, because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!</p><p> </p><p> [Roger starts to laugh at his lame joke as if it was the funniest thing ever said, he looks at Nicki who is not laughing. He then looks at Sammy who is not laughing either, until he realizes that Roger is looking at him and then he starts to laugh. Roger then goes on:]</p><p> </p><p> Roger Dodger: Now back to tonight, tonight Sammy and I will bulldoze over that fat ass Jumbo Jackson and his midget…sorry I meant to say little person partner of his’ Sam Pratt in the first round of this tournament. We will then gracefully handle whoever our opponents are in the semi-final match. Finally, we will brutally beat whoever is our opponents in the finals. Thus proving once and for all that we are legends in the making. That we are the Kings of New York! Moreover, I am so confident that we will win the tournament tonight that I guarantee victor…</p><p> </p><p> [sammy interrupts him saying:]</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><a href="</p><a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=SammyTheShark.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=SammyTheShark.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/SammyTheShark.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/SammyTheShark.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Sammy the Shark: Dude, do you really think guaranteeing victory is the smart thing to do? I mean every time you guarantee a victory we lose…maybe if you stop guaranteeing victory we might win…</p><p> </p><p> [Roger glares at his tag team partner and says in a lower voice then what he normally speaks at:]</p><p> </p><p> Roger Dodger: Of course I have to guarantee victory! It’s kind of my thing…</p><p> </p><p> Sammy the Shark: I’m just saying…</p><p> </p><p> Roger Dodger: Yeah I know what you are saying….aw crap dude you ruined the mood now I can’t guarantee victory! When we are taken back down to the ring Jimi Hendrix’s version of The Star Spangled Banner starts to play and out steps the reining Tri-State Regional champion, American Machine, much to the delight of the fans. Masked Mauler and Eddie Howard are going at it in one corner, Bradford Peverell and The New York Doll are going at it in another corner, DDD and Ash Campbell are fighting in the center of the ring, American Machine and Franklin Carson are fighting each other, while Brendan Idol and Whistler are fighting in one corner. Bradford Peverell has the NYD hanging over the ropes about to drop, but for some reason Ash Campbell comes to the aid of NYD and Ash and NYD start to double team Bradford to get him out. The first elimination comes when American Machine toss Franklin Carson out of the ring. The fans start to chant, “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye.” Stomper excuses himself from the announcers booth by saying:]<p> </p><p> Stomper: Well I looks like I have to hand Franklin Carson his pink slip.</p><p> </p><p> [He leaves the announcers booth and walks down to the wrestler‘s entrance area and starts talking to Franklin Carson who does not look pleased by what Stomper is saying to him. It was at this point that Bradford Peverell started to go on a bit of a tear. He eliminated NYD, Brendan Idol and Ash Campbell all within the next three minutes! We are now down to our final five with three fan favorites (Whistler, American Machine, Eddie Howard), one sort of fan favorite (Bradford Peverell), and one heel (Masked Mauler) still in the match.</p><p> </p><p> Bradford and the Masked Mauler actually make a pact to work together and it is through this union that they get rid of Eddie Howard. Whistler quickly eliminates Bradford Peverell, while American Machine and the Masked Mauler go at it. Whistler helps his former partner eliminate Masked Mauler.</p><p> </p><p> This leaves the former members of American Made Men to go at it. A fight it out they do, in fact for a good portion of the match this is a one-on-one match between Bailey and The Big Problem, with Honest Frank spending most of the time on the arena‘s floor. At around the eight minute point in the match, both Bailey and The Big Problem are laying on the mat and Honest Frank still refuses to enter the ring. It is at this point the everybody has come to the realization that Honest Frank does not even want to win this match at all because he does not want to fight Steve Flash.<p> </p><p> Finally, at the ten minute mark Black Hat Bailey pinned The Big Problem thus eliminating from the match. This means that Honest Frank has to get into the ring and face Bailey, a prospect that Honest Frank does not at all looked thrilled about. Frank does not look all that comfortable in the ring and Bailey is out of gas so this portion of the match ends up bringing the crowd’s mood down. <p>I am not going to post how everybody did on the pics for the simple fact that not everybody picked winners for the second round of the tournament. So to me it would look odd posting what everbody did, if some completed their picks and some did not.</p><p> </p><p>

Notes on show:</p><p> </p><p>

Sam Pratt and Jumbo Jackson were not my original picks to win the tourney. I had wanted New York City's Finest or The Gang of New York to win. However, in my game Frankie Perez and Kirk Jameson are only mid-carders and for them to win the tournament I would have destroyed the popularity of some of the other wrestlers.</p><p> </p><p>

The Gang of New York are both Upper-Midcard guys but Jumbo Jackson refused to job to them. Well he refused to job to anybody due to me being stupid and giving him creative control (that is why you will never see him face Flash). At the end of the day Pratt and Jackson had to win the tournament as I had not other real options thanks to his contract.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, in regards to the Triple-Threat match, I really wanted Whistler in that match. I wanted one main event face in the match to take on the two heels. And that match would have had C- hype! </p><p> </p><p>

However, I left it up to the readers and The Big Problem found himself in the match (with Big Problem in the match it became a D hype match). Now it was always my plan to have Honest Frank win that match to set up his big year end match (in game time of course) against Steve Flash.</p><p> </p><p>

And that was the reason why Whistler found himself in the battle royal fighting against the bottom feeders of my promotion (well American Machine is not a bottom feeder). Like I said in a previous post, I had 19 minutes left to book so I threw this battle royal on the card. Whistler had nothing better to do so I tossed him into the battle royal. </p><p> </p><p>

I was going to have this battle royal take place on the next show, so that I could have Mitch Naess make a big deal that Franklin Carson was fired on Thanksgiving. Writing the battle royal out made me realize just how bad I am at match write-ups. I just can not visualize these matches when I write them so that is why I usually just write a synopsis of what happened.</p><p> </p><p>

Well I would just like to say thank you all for taking the time to read and post in this diary.</p>

Some of his notorious pranks in the past were so graphic that I do not even feel right typing them. The prank he pulled on Land Mass with the cow is stuff of legends but alas it is to sick to talk about. </p><p> </p><p> Anyway, as I said I knew of his reputation when I took the job here in NYCW, and I fully expected that he and I would get into quite a few arguments. In fact, Don’s last big prank was the reason why I got my job. You see, Don was caught, by Black Hat Bailey (who at the time had my job), taking a piss in Whistler’s apple juice.</p><p> </p><p> Bailey, being in a position of power, had to discipline his good friend Don. Bailey levied a hefty fine on Don (Don’s pay for the month), which caused a rift in their friendship. The two men have not been on speaking terms since. It was this loss of friendship that was the straw that broke the camels back as far as Bailey and the head-booking job went. He could not deal with the stress of being one of the boys and being management at the same time. Therefore, he decided to step down and go back to being one of the boy’s fulltime.</p><p> </p><p> Now let me tell you about my first run in with one of Coyote’s “jokes”. I was sitting in my office doing paperwork while our last show was going on. I heard a lot of shouting going on down the hallway. I left my office and went into the locker room and I saw Land Mass, Colin Shea and The New York Doll holding back Trent Shaffer who was yelling every obscenity under the son at Coyote who was just sitting on a locker room bench laughing. I walked into the locker and said:</p><p> </p><p> <a href="<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JackAvatar.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=JackAvatar.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JackAvatar.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/JackAvatar.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a></p><p> </p><p> Jack Arthur: Guys what is the problem here?</p><p> </p><p> [Trent looks at me and says:]</p><p> </p><p> <a href="<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=TrentShaffer.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=TrentShaffer.jpg"</a> target="_blank"><img src="<a href="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/TrentShaffer.jpg" rel="external nofollow">http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/TrentShaffer.jpg"</a> border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a></p><p> </p><p> Trent Shaffer: This mother****ing a***ole put frozen dog crap in my gym bag!</p><p> </p><p> [i looked at Coyote, he looked back at me and started to laugh his ass off. What happened was, I had just finished taking my shower and I got dressed. So I took gym bag out of my locker and stuck my gear in there. I placed the gym bag on the floor and I decided that I was going to join Land Mass and Colin at the craft services table. Don was sitting in the locker room talking on his cell phone. I asked him if he wanted anything from craft services and he said no. I left the room and went to eat.</p><p> </p><p> About ten minutes later, I came back to the locker room, after I was done eating and I went to put my Blue Jays hat in my gym bag. I opened up the gym bag and I see a giant pile of frozen dog turds in my gym bag! I look over at that old ass son of a bitch Don and he is laughing his ass off! Now I am not a violent man, but if you f**k with my personal property, well it’s on like Donkey Kong! I went after him and a couple of guys got to me before I could get to him. And then you walked into the door and told me to come with you. </p><p> </p><p> So here we are Jack, I know the dude did it. I mean I have heard the stories about what he has done in the past. However, I have to be impartial and listen to his side of the story. And if he does not admit to doing what you said he did, well I am afraid that there is very little that I can actually do to him. Now if you had any concrete evidence that he did it, then I could bring holy hell down upon his ass. </p><p> </p><p> I will tell you what, I am going to talk to him. It is your boy Rock Downpour here! So we are finally going to get our chance to see Honest Frank fight Steve Flash for the Empire Title! Now granted, it is going to happen at our December show, but the simple fact that Honest Frank has to step into the ring with the man who he has tormented for months is just great! When reached for a comment Honest Frank had this to say:</p><p> </p><p> “Honestly, I am totally one hundred percent prepared to meet Steve Flash for our match in December. However, I do have to admit that I have been having some nagging neck pain which may force me not to take part in the match. And well my arm seems to be hurting me as well. So even though I can’t wait to face Steve in December, I may have to back out. And that’s the honest truth!”</p><p> </p><p> Well it does not seem that Honest Frank wants to step in the ring with Steve. However, we will see at our December show if he has the guts to fight Steve. Speaking of Honest Frank, he seems to be having problems with his associate in New York City’s Finest, The Big Problem. We talked to The Big Problem about his recent problems with Honest Frank. The Big Problem had this to say:</p><p> </p><p> “ Look me and the boss have had some minor disagreements over the past couple of months. But everything is good between us. We have talked about our problems and ironed out our issues and I can say that there is no longer a beef between the two of us.”</p><p> </p><p> Well I don’t know about you all but I just don’t believe that the grass is really as green as they claim it is. We will see if I am right.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Finally, I caught up with Jumbo Jackson to get his reaction to the terrible beat down that he and his partner received at the hands of Mr. Jiminez and Mr. Salazar. Jumbo had this to say:</p><p> </p><p> “You two couldn’t leave well enough alone? You couldn’t let us have our moment in the sun? Well Mr. Salazar and Mr. Jiminez you might have put my best friend in the hospital once again but you didn’t put me down. Next month I want one of you in the ring, I don’t care which one of you accepts my challenge I just want one of you. I want one of you to taste your blood, like I had to. We here at nycw.com have learned the contract of Don “Coyote Dynamite” Richards has not been renewed. This former four times NYCW Tag Team Champion was a great competitor here in NYCW and we wish him nothing but the best of luck in the future.

occ: This was not due to the backstage incident that happend after the last show. There were three key reasons why I did not re-sign him. They were:

1. He is in terminal decline.

2. He wanted a guaranteed mid-level title run. Which was not going to happen.

3. He wanted his contract to be on par with my main event wrestlers and he is only a midcard wrestler.

So as much as I would have loved to keep him, just for the simple fact that he is a jerk in the backstage area, I could not bring myself to cave into to his outlandish contract demands.

Way to stick it to em man, I hate people who think that they are better than they actually are and think that they deserve more than they do because of it.

TakerNGN74

Yeah and I just had him job to a big prospect (Who has not been shown in this diary yet, all though I have had him for a while) in a dark match on the show that I will be posting next. Thus killing one level of his popularity in the Tri-State Region!:D That will teach you Coyote Dynamite!:D

Need more douchebags, eh? May I suggest Harry Wilson? Enough of an ass to stir up drama, yet decent enough to be a reasonable signing. (Note: Dunno about you, but I dig all-arounders..)

Funny you should mention that, as I looked into signing him.:D However, I decided against adding to the roster as it is already way to bloated. I also was thinking Jay Chord but he went to Japan. In fact I gave Kirk Jameson his spot in NYCF. My original NYCF: Tag Team Division was going to be Jay Chord and Shooter Sean. However, they both went to Japan so I signed Frankie and Kirk instead.

NYCW Presents: Day of Reckoning

<a href="http://s969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/?action=view&current=NYCW-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae173/BHK1978/NYCW/NYCW-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Thursday November 13, 2008

Location: Crawford Center, Brooklyn, New York

Attendance: 300

Overall Show Rating: D

[The show does open up as it normally does instead it starts up with a cold open. With Honest Frank and Mean Jean Cattley standing in the ring. The fans are already chanting, “You‘re a liar!“ at Honest Frank as the show opens up.]

Honest Frank: I am not even going to address your slanderous words that you troglodytes are tossing at me tonight. No, tonight I mean all business! I have come out here tonight to address your beloved champion Steve Flash. As you know Steve, Stomper has given both you and I the right to name each other’s opponents tonight. Well I was gracious enough to tell you who your opponent was ahead of time. You on the other hand have not been so gracious! I have no idea who I am facing tonight and to be honest with you, I am not at all scared…

[Honest Frank looks at Mean Jean nervously and Mean Jean nods his head, Honest Frank continues:]

Honest Frank: I am not scared at all as you can tell. In fact I know whomever you have been able to dig up, could not hold a candle to the man that is standing next to me. This man standing next to me is going to tear you from limb to limb. And you know what Steve? He came here for free! He didn’t even want the Fifty-seven dollars and thirty-three cents bounty that I placed on your head! All I had to do was call him up and he gladly came here. Mean Jean you are truly a great friend.

Mean Jean Cattley: Thank you Frank, coming for you a man of great honesty, integrity, and well great personal hygiene that means a lot.

[Honest Frank smiles and nods his head in agreement.]

Mean Jean Cattley: When Frank called me up on the phone, he told me he needed a little help. He needed someone to come up here to this trash heap they call New York City and kick the ass of a dude that looks like Michael Bolton. I said I would gladly take on this endeavor, as I hate the music of Michael Bolton and I will get great satisfaction beating up someone that looks like him. So I hopped in my Porsche and drove up to this dump…

[steve Flash walks out from the backstage area onto the partial ramp that leads to the ring. He of course gets a huge ovation.]

Steve Flash: Blah, blah, blah. I am not sure out of the two of you, which one of you is the bigger pompous windbag. You two are just going on and on about nothing! This is New York City but it aint an episode of Seinfeld, so just tell me what you want to say in an abridged version and we can all get on with our night.

[Honest Frank angrily looks out at Steve and says:]

Honest Frank: How dare you have the audacity to call me a pompous windbag! If you keep on talking that way, I will have to include you in my ongoing lawsuit against the fans of NYCW and Herb Feldman who is the audio engineer for this rotten company! So my advice to you Stevie is to thread lightly with those slanderous comments!

Now back to my earlier point, since you have decided to grace us with your presences, can you please inform me as to whom I am facing tonight?

[A familiar voice is heard over the arena‘s sound system.]

Whistler: There is no need for him to tell you tough guy because I am gonna come out there an tell ya myself!

[Whistler comes out to a thunderous amount of applauds! Honest Frank looks very scared as Mean Jean tries to calm him down.]

Whistler: When Steve asked me to take you on tonight I jumped at the opportunity, tough guy!

Honest Frank: Look Mr. Whistler, I ah…have no beef with you. In fact I am a huge fan of yours so much so that I don’t think that I will be able to fight you later tonight because you are my hero and I am a loyal member of Whistler’s nation. And as a loyal member of the nation, I just can not bring myself to fight my idol.

Whistler: Cut the bull Frank, we all know that you are a liar. And if you don’t want to face me later on…well I see no problem in fighting you right now. Hooooooooo!

[steve Flash and Whistler run to the ring and they start to brawl with Mean Jean and Honest Frank. This brawl does not last all that long as various NYCW officials come down to the ring and separate them before any real damage is done to any of the four men in the ring.]

Mitch Naess: Hello and welcome wrestling fans to NYCW’s annual event Day of Reckoning! My name is Mitch Naess and I am joined tonight in the boot with my broadcast partners Herb Stately and Rock Downpour. Gentlemen, tonight we have yet another action packed card!

Rock Downpour: That we do Mitch, tonight we are going to see Mid Atlantic Wrestling standout, Mean Jean Cattley take on our Empire champion Steve Flash in what should be a great non-title match! And then we also get to see Whistler take on Honest Frank! Man those two matches alone make this card great!

Herb Stately: Well For Once, I have to agree with you Rock! Those two matches should be great! Moreover, the fact that we have the chance of seeing a great wrestler like Mean Jean Cattley beat the ever-living snot out of Steve Flash is also great!

Mitch Naess: Well before we get to our opening bout, I am told that our backstage correspondent Cheerleader Nicki is standing by with The Sting. So let us head to the back to hear what The Sting have to say.

[We are brought to a dingy locker room, where Cheerleader Nicki is standing with Sammy the Shark and Roger Dodger (who is admiring himself in the mirror).]

Cheerleader Nicki: Thank you Mitch! Gentlemen, tonight you are going to take on the team of Bradford Peverell and Eddie Howard. Roger how did you prepare for such a team?

[Roger turns his attention away from the mirror and looks at Cheerleader Nicki. He smiles at her and he starts to clap he then says:]

Roger Dodger: Well sweet cheeks you finally got right, and that is why I am applauding you. You have finally realized that I am the one that you address and not Sammy. Now as for you question, well I am very bored with your line of questioning. It seems as if every month you ask me the same questions over and over again. And frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn about your dumb questions.

[Cheerleader Nicki‘s mouth drops open and she looks at Roger as if to say, “How dare you?”]

Roger Dodger: In fact I am not sure why they have you interview us each month. I mean the NYCW management must realize that I do not need a pretty girl interviewing me, because I am after all the best looking man in professional wrestling.

[both Nicki and Sammy laugh at this comment and the minute Roger looks at Sammy, Sammy stops laughing and gives Roger the thumbs up.]

Roger Dodger: From now on Nicki I only want you to hold the microphone and look pretty when you interview me. The only time that I want you to address me is if you ask the following of me. One, what am I doing after the show. Two, what is it like to be the best looking man in pro wrestling.

Sammy the Shark: Ah Rog, you and I have to talk about our entrance music remember?

Roger Dodger: Oh yes the entrance music…I don’t know what are you thinking it should be?

Sammy the Shark: How about Roxanne by the Police? I mean after all we are named The Sting…

Roger Dodger: I like the way you think…

Cheerleader Nicki: Um, if you don’t mind me asking…what the heck are you talking about?

[sammy looks at Roger as if to ask for his permission to talk to Nicki. Roger waves his hands at him as if he is giving him the okay.]

Sammy the Shark: Rog and me have been talking about how we haven’t been winning lately. And well we decided that it might be because our entrance music is cursed or something. I mean the only reason why we have that song as our entrance music is because we named are selves after the Paul Newman, Robert Redford movie the Sting. And well that was the theme song from the movie so we picked that as our entrance music.

Anyway, Rog and me have been talking and we think the reason why we have been losing lately is because of our entrance music. And we thought that if we changed it we would start winning again.

[Cheerleader Nicki looks at both men with an, “Are you serious?” look. Roger then says:]

Roger: We don’t have anymore time to waste on you sweet cheeks, we got a match to get ready for. Come on Sammy lets go.

[Roger and Sammy walk off camera and Cheerleader Nicki says:]

Cheerleader Nicki: Let us go to the ring for our opening match.

vs. Steve Flash

[Tonight‘s opening match is actually a weird choice for an opening match as it is the match between Mean Jean Cattley and Steve Flash. Perhaps the booker thought that because there was little buzz surrounding this match, that it should be placed in the opening slot.

Anyway, Mean Jean comes out to a chorus of boos as he walks down to the ring with Honest Frank. Mean Jean‘s entrance music is…Nights In White Satin! And yes he is wearing a white satin jacket, the front of the jacket says Mean Jean. On the back of the jacket it says New York City‘s Finest Associate Member. Honest Frank pays no attention to Front Row Franny this month. The two men enter the ring and referee Michael Bull walks over to Honest Frank and tells him that he cannot corner Mean Jean tonight. Honest Frank has a mild fit before going back to the backstage area.]

[The Rolling Stones‘ Jumping Jack Flash starts to play and the crowd goes ape you know what. And the NYCW Empire Champion comes out from the backstage area. Steve looks like he is all business this month as he runs down to the ring. He doesn’t even bother to climb the ring ropes, as tonight he knows he will be in for the fight of his life.]

[NYCW Senior referee calls for the bell to signify the start of the match. This match is hands down the match of the night, which further proves that the booker is dumb for not making this the main event. Everything in this match seemed to click and the fans were going nuts. This match finally came to an end when Steve Flash hit Mean Jean with a Flash Bang (Missile Drop Kick) and pinned him for the victory.]

Winner: Steve Flash

Time: 10:26

Match Rating: C

Mitch Naess: Wow that was one heck of a match!

Rock Downpour: Holy Moses Malone that was a great match!

Herb Stately: The thing is how was that fair to Honest Frank? Why should Steve Flash be allowed to have the first match of the night? Now Steve is well rested, while Frank is going to have to enter into the ring with that moron Whistler later on. Who knows what Whistler is going to do to Frank! This is not fair, this is not fair at all…

Mitch Naess: Well earlier we heard from The Sting, so let us go to the back where their opponents for tonight, Bradford Peverell and Eddie Howard are standing by.

[We go to the backstage area where Bradford Peverell and Eddie Howard are standing in front of a brick wall. There is an NYCW banner hanging on the brick wall behind them.]

Eddie Howard: Roger, Sammy, I noticed that you did not guarantee a victory tonight. Is that because your confidence has been destroyed because of the losing streak that you are…

[before Eddie Howard can finish what he was going to say, Ms. Stroker walks over to the two men and says:]

Ms. Stroker: Well hello there Mr. Peverell.

Bradford Peverell: Hel…hello Ivana…nice to see you again.

[Ms. Stroker turns and looks at Eddie Howard and says:]

Ms. Stroker: You, I don’t know who you are and quite frankly I do not care who you are. Bradford, maybe the reason why you have not had the best of luck in recent weeks is because you have been hanging around with losers like this guy.

[Eddie looks ticked off about this comment. He says:]

Eddie Howard: Excuse me! Who in the hell are you calling a loser? I….

Ms. Stroker: Silence you bald head fool! Bradford, my offer still stands. If you drop this loser, I will be more than happy to help you rise through the ranks here in NYCW.

[Ms. Stroker then leaves Bradford and Eddie. Eddie turns and looks at Bradford and says:]

Eddie Howard: Hey man, one word of advice, that chick is nothing but trouble, if I was you I would stay the hell away from her.

Bradford Peverell: Yeah but she is smoking hot…

Segment Rating: E

[instead of going back to the announcer‘s booth we go to the ring for the next match.]

[Franklin Carson comes out to the ring, he looks very nervously as if he is hurrying to the ring not wanting to be seen by someone. The ring announcer says he hails from parts unknown. The minute Rock Downpour sees Franklin he says:]

Rock Downpour: Hey wait a sec, wasn’t he fired at last month’s show? What the hell is he doing here?

[Lee Wright comes out from the backstage area. He is immediately greeted with an A-A-R-Lee chant. Lee looks extremely pissed off, as he normally does each and every month, as he makes his way down to the ring. When Lee enters the ring he takes the microphone from the ring announcer and says:]

Lee Wright: I want all you losers in the audience to shut the hell up! I have something to say so shut the hell up! You sucmbags think that you are very clever with you’re A-A-R-Lee chants, don’t cha? Well one day you will be old and gray and you will have people discriminating against you. And then you will remember when you mocked me.

As you all can tell I am not happy about the fact that I am not getting my one-on-one rematch with American Machine for my Tri-State Regional title. Instead I have to face the jobber of the month once again….wait a minute…you don’t even work for this company no more what the hell are you doing here?

[This match was a short one, with Franklin Carson constantly looking around every time he was on offense. This match did bring the mood down as the fans were wondering why Franklin was wrestling in the ring tonight after he had been fired by the company last month. The match finally came to an end when NYCW owner, Stomper started to make his way down to the ring with a pink slip in his hand. The minute Franklin saw Stomper coming to the ring, he fled and left the arena through the crowd. This caused Franklin to be counted-out.]

Winner via count-out: Lee Wright

Time: 3:03

Match Rating: D-

[stomper grabs the house microphone and says:]

Stomper: Franklin me boy, you can run but you can’t hide. I will give you this pink slip sooner or later and then you will be officially fired from this company! I do have to admit, it was a nice touch changing your address to parts unknown so that I could not mail this out to you.

[We are now taken back to the booth where Mitch has a perplexed look on his face.]

Mitch Naess: I guess Franklin Carson wasn’t officially fired from the company?

Rock Downpour: Yeah man, he never got the paper work and so I guess he was never fired!

Herb Stately: Well I have to say, Franklin Carson has some moxy. I mean eventually Stomper is going to catch up to him and fire his ass, but Franklin should enjoy his career while he still has one.

[We go to the backstage area where we see Wiley Steinway walking down a hallway. He bumps into a guy who we here in NYCW have never see before. The man says to Wiley:]

Marc Speed: Hey foo watch who you bump into.

Wiley Steinway: Hey man, like who are you?

Marc Speed: Who am I? I’m Marc Speed foo! And if your dirty hippy ass doesn’t get out of my way, I might have to choke your ass out.

Wiley Steinway: Hey man, there is no need to be violent. You can make more friends making love not war man.

Marc Speed: Foo this isn’t 1969, now like I said get out of my way before I choke your ass out.

[Wiley complies and gets out of Marc‘s way. As soon as Marc is off screen, Wiley looks into the camera and says:]

Wiley Steinway: Whoa, that was one far out encounter man.

Segment Rating: E

Mitch Naess: What in the heck was that all about?

Rock Downpour: I don’t know but Marc Speed seems to be one angry man.

Herb Stately: He might be full of hate but I like him. He is going to be someone to watch in the future.

Mitch Naess: Well let us go back down to the ring for our next match.

The Sting vs. Eddie Howard & Bradford Peverell

[The Sting come out from the backstage area and the are immediately greeted with the You’re a big baby (which is directed at Roger) chant from the crowd. Tonight their entrance music is Roxanne by the Police. Sammy pauses on his way to the ring and pretends that his left boot is not laced up properly. When he sees that Roger is far ahead of him, he looks into the camera and says, “Living large baby, living large!”

Once inside the ring Sammy walks to the middle of the ring and spreads his arms apart looking very much like the Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro. While Sammy stands next to him showing off his deck of cards.]

[i Get Money by 50 Cent begins to play as Eddie Howard and Bradford Peverell step out from behind the backstage curtain. The crowd goes nuts chanting, “Eddie, Eddie!” There does not seem to be many Bradford fans in the crowd tonight.]

[bradford and Roger start out for their respective teams, both men get in a good amount of offense during the opening portion of the match. Bradford tags Eddie in and Bradford goes and stands in his corner. While Bradford stands on the outside, Ms. Stroker comes down to the ring and walks over to him. Bradford goes down to the floor and he and Ms. Stroker talk. He nods his head and he and Ms. Stroker leave the ringside area, leaving Eddie to fend for himself against both members of The Sting.

Roger pleads with Sammy to tag him in as he realizes that he and Sammy have the advantage in the match, and this is their best chance at breaking their losing streak. And he wants that pin badly. However, against all odds Eddie Howard comes back and hits Roger with the Crash and Burn (Swinging Fisherman Suplex). He then proceeds to pin Roger for the victory.]

Winners: Eddie Howard & Bradford Peverell

Time: 6:02

Matching Rating: D-

[Post-match Roger Dodger throws his usual post-match hissy fit. Sammy tries to calm him down but Roger is having none of it. Roger can be heard saying, “We can‘t even win a handicap match!”. The fans start a “You‘re a big baby!” chant.]

Mitch Naess: Wow, against all odds Eddie Howard has beaten The Sting!

Rock Downpour: Imagine that, The Sting couldn’t even manage to get a victory despite the fact that this was essentially a handicap match. And what is up with Bradford Peverell?

Herb Stately: What is up with Bradford Peverell? Well that is a dumb question. Bradford just did what any smart person would do; he left with a beautiful woman who would help out his career. Why waste your time with a loser like Eddie Howard, when you can work with a beautiful, smart, successful woman like Ms. Stroker?

Mitch Naess: Well I would never call Eddie Howard a loser but I guess I can see your point. However, I hope that Bradford has made the right choice for his sake. With that being said let us go back down the ring for our next match.

New York City's Finest (Frankie Perez, The Big Problem and Kirk Jameson) vs.

& American Machine

[On Fire by Lloyd Banks begins to play on the arena’s sound system and out steps New York City‘s Finest (Frankie Perez, The Big Problem and Kirk Jameson). They are wearing their matching white satin New York City‘s Finest jackets. Perhaps this is a sign of unity by the group, showing that there is no ill will between The Big Problem and his associates. NYCF gets pelted with garbage as they make their way to the ring. When they get in front of Front Row Franny, The Big Problem just turns and looks at her and says, “Shut up you old broad!” Front Row Franny is livid and starts cussing The Big Problem as he enters the ring.]

[The house lights dim and the spotlight starts circling the arena as nobody knows where The Gang of New York are going to come out. Bad To The Bone by George Thorogood comes blasting over the sound system. After a few seconds the crowd starts to go wild, as The Gang of New York make their customary entrance through the crowd. They do not have cigarettes in their mouths this month but they are drinking beer. Both men are sporting the NYCW tag team championships and both men have said titles flung over their shoulder. While they make their way towards the ring Rock Downpour has this to say:]

Rock Downpour: So did you have your meeting with Mayor Bloomberg?

Herb Stately: Are they smoking cigarettes this month?

Rock Downpour: Know they aren’t smoking cigarettes.

Herb Stately: Dose that answer you question?

Rock Downpour: I guess it pays to know people in high places.

Herb Stately: It does indeed…

[Finally, after their customary lengthy walk to the ring The Gang of New York enter the ring as the crowd is still going wild for them.]

[Jimi Hendrix’s version of The Star Spangled Banner starts to play and out steps the reining Tri-State Regional champion, American Machine, much to the delight of the fans. As Machine makes his way down to the ring he slaps the fans hands. Machine enters the ring and shakes the hands of his partner’s for the night.]

[This match was a flat out brawl, and really what Gang of New York match has not been a brawl? These six men fight all over the arena, with little of the action actually happening inside the ring. In fact, the only time there is actually action in the ring is when someone rolls into the ring to break the referee’s count. Someone finally forgets to roll back in the ring, and so NYCW senior referee, Michael Bull, has no other choice but to count all six men out.]

Winners: This match was a draw

Time: 7:43

Match Rating: D-

[The double count-out has done noting to stop this brawl as these six men fight all over the arena. This brawl actually brought the crowd‘s mood down, one would have to muse that it was due to the fact that the fans could not see the brawl as it went into the backstage area.]

Segment Rating: E+

Mitch Naess: Well that did very little to stop the animosity between those six men.

Rock Downpour: Yeah man it looks like there is a deep hatred between the members of New York City’s Finest and The Gang of New York and American Machine.

Herb Stately: Well can you blame The Big Problem? I mean The Gang of New York did attack the Big Problem two months ago.

Rock Downpour: Yes, but that was only after he brutally attacked Daniel Elderberry.

Herb Stately: I never saw that…

Rock Downpour: Man you really should get those glasses checked.

Mitch Naess: Well our next match is about to start, so let us go back down to the ring.

[Joanne Rodriguez and Mr. Salazar are already standing in the center of the ring having come down to the ring while the announcers were talking. Joanne Rodriguez is not in a revealing dress this month, much to the disappointment of most of our male fans and some female fans as well. The “J-Ho“, chant is heard throughout the arena.]

J-Ro: Greetings foul smelling citizens of New York City! You know you people have a lot of nerve calling me a ho! After all, this audience tonight is made up on nothing more than a group of prostitutes and hobos! I am not out here to insult you, now that is not to say the mere existence of you all, is not an insult to me because it totally is.

However, like I said I am not out here to talk about that tonight, no tonight I want to talk about Jumbo Jackson. You see Jumbo, you stuck your nose in our business and that was the wrong thing to do. Jumbo you should have just stayed wherever you were. You should have not come back here to NYCW to help your little buddy out. But that is your mistake and now you must live with it, because tonight this man standing next to me is going to tear your limbs off and beat you with them.

[Mr. Salazar stands in the ring rubbing his hands together and laughing.]

Mr. Salazar: Yeah you see Jumbo while you were busy up North dressing up as a fish, I was wrestling in Philadelphia having dudes jam glass bottles into my forehead. So like Ms. Rodriguez just said you made a mistake coming back here to NYCW. This is not going to be a match where we dress up as seafood and prance around in the ring. No, tonight is the night that I put an end to your talent less career.

J-Ro: That is right Mr. Salazar! In fact I am so confident in your abilities that I am putting your career here in NYCW on the line! If you win tonight you are staying, if by some fluke you lose tonight…well then you are leaving NYCW!

[Mr. Salazar looks shocked at what J-Ro has just said to him. He looks at her and says:]

Mr. Salazar: Whoa, whoa, whoa! When did you add this stipulation? And how come I was not informed about it? And why are you springing this on me when I am about to have a match?

J-Ro: Calm down big guy, you got this. Tonight is a win-win for us, you will win the match and Jumbo Jackson will be out of NYCW! How awesome is that? And then you and Mr. Jiminez can put all your focus on Sam Pratt!

[As soon as J-Ro finishes talking Renegade by Styx begins to play over the arena‘s sound system. Thus concluding the interview.]

Mr. Salazar with Joanne Rodriguez vs.

[Jumbo Jackson gets a huge response as he comes out form the backstage area. As he makes his way down towards the ring he slaps the hands of the fans.]

[This match was considered good by NYCW standards. With both men getting in an equal amount of offense in. In the end, Jumbo Jackson took control of the match and threw Mr. Salazar into the one of the corners of the ring. He then ran towards Mr. Salazar and crushed him with the Jumbo Avalanche. After Mr. Salazar fell to the mat, Jumbo Jackson pinned him for the victory. And per the stipulations that J-Ro had agreed to prior to the match, Mr. Salazar is no longer a member of the NYCW roster.]

Winner: Jumbo Jackson

Time: 7:41

Rating: D

Mitch Naess: Here today, gone tomorrow! It looks like the former DAVE standout Mr. Salazar is on his way back to Puerto Rico!

Rock Downpour: Yeah and he must be livid that his own manager put up his contract without consulting him first! Man that has got to hurt!

Herb Stately: What we just watched was a conspiracy! And said conspiracy was headed up by none other than that lousy good for nothing, NYCW senior official Michael Bull!

Rock Downpour: You can’t be serious! Now who is sounding like Fox Mulder?

Herb Stately: Now just hear me out on this one before you pass judgment. Jumbo Jackson must have greased the palm of Michael Bull before the match. That way he could eliminate one of the men that is a threat to him. I mean kudos to Jumbo Jackson for doing this, it was a brilliant move on his part.

Mitch Naess: I for one feel that your theory is way off base, but you are entitled to your opinion. Anyway, up next we have the final match of the night between Honest Frank and Whistler! Gentlemen, what are you opinions going into our next match?

Rock Downpour: I think that Honest Frank is going to have his hands full tonight with Whistler! You know, everybody always underestimates Whistler. They think that he is dumb…

Herb Stately: Which he is…

Rock Downpour: Well I can tell you, Whistler is not dumb at all. What makes Whistler so dangerous is because people constantly underestimate his intelligence. And I think that will happen tonight, Honest Frank will underestimate Whistler and he may pay for it.

Herb Stately: Rock, if anything I think that Honest Frank might be overestimating Whistler’s intelligence. Whistler is an extremely dumb man and there is no way around that fact. Honest Frank might think that Whistler has a modicum of intelligence and if he does that would be a mistake.

Mitch Naess: Well guys the match is about to start, so let us go back down to the ring!

vs. Honest Frank

[The theme song from Kolchak: The Night Stalker starts to play over the sound system and out steps Whistler and with Whistler is Empire Champion Steve Flash. Whistler is waving the American flag and he yells out, “Hoooooooooo!” He gets a little further down the aisle and says, “USA! USA!”. The crowd answers him back as they chant USA in unison.

Whistler and Steve stop in front of Front Row Franny, who has put a Whistler‘s nation t-shirt over her famous bright yellow shirt, they both stand on either side of her and they booth look at the camera and give a thumbs up. Whistler and Steve then enter the ring and Whistler goes to the center of the ring and waves the American flag back and forth, while Steve Flash stands next to him and claps his hands. Steve then shakes Whistler’s hand and walks back to the backstage area. Finally, Whistler gives a ring attendant his American flag and he walks over to his corner and awaits the arrival of Honest Frank.]

[Fleetwood Mac‘s Little Lies starts to play on the sound system as a visibly pissed off Honest Frank makes his way to the ring. The chants of, “You’re a liar” start the moment the crowd sees Frank. Frank is not accompanied by his goons this month and is all by himself as he walks down to the ring. He does take the time to walk over to Front Row Franny and say, “Break a hip recently?” She starts cussing at him as he enters the ring. Upon entering the ring he does not ask for the microphone to insult the crowd like he always does, instead he waits in his corner for the match to start.]

[This match was a back and forth affair with both men getting in an equal amount of offense in. Whistler soon seems to gain the advantage and looks like he is about to finish off Honest Frank, when Whistler‘s archenemy Black Hat Bailey comes into the ring and attacks Whistler! NYCW senior referee, Michael Bull has not other choice but to disqualify Honest Frank.]

Winner: Whistler

Time: 8:09

Rating: D

[After the match is over with, Frank and Bailey proceed to beat up Whistler. Steve Flash comes out to aid his friend. However, he is ambushed by the members of New York City‘s Finest (including The Big Problem)! As Steve Flash is getting beat down by NYCF, Whistler is still being beat up by Honest Frank and Bailey. Finally, American Machine and The Gang of New York come to the aid of Flash and Whistler. Now that the sides are even, the heels run away like scolded dogs. And the screen fades to black…]

I would like to thank everybody who took the time to make predictions! And anybody who takes the time to read this!

Here are the Prediction records for this card:

foolinc: 3/5

Marcel Fromage: 3/5

TakerNGN74: 2/5

Seeing how the six man ended in a double count-out I am not counting that towards the overall record.

And if anybody has any lame music for the Sting to use as their entrance music for upcoming shows please post them.

We here at nycw.com have learned the contract of Jorge “Mr. Salazar” Salazar has not been renewed. Mr. Salazar was a great competitor here in NYCW and we wish him nothing but the best of luck in the future.

occ: Okay I really wanted to keep Mr. Salazar for at the very least one more month. However, after I eliminated the first save I could not remember how much was left on his contract. When I started the new save the computer gave him three months on his contract.

When it came to re-up his contract Stomper would not let me re signed him as he was asking for to much money. Hence the rush job I did with him and J-Ro, where he had to lose a loser leaves town match.
