Hulkamania: The Battle Has Begun!

-----In the summer of 2009 it was announced that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff would be doing a tour of Australia featuring some of the top wrestlers in the world squaring off in the ring plus the unretirement of Ric Flair to face Hulk Hogan in the final night of the Hulkamania tour. However things would start to escalate to a bigger and bigger level as a multiplicity of events would take place.

-----In the beginning days of October 2009 Booker T would walk out on a match on a TNA House Show. Booker would demand his release from the company after Scott Steiner ripped a Swedish flag and refused to work in the TNA work environment stating it was a racist work environment. This along with the fact that Jeff Jarrett would be selling his portion of the company to Dixie Carter and the firing of Kip James and BG James would result in the James Gang, Booker T and Jeff Jarrett to sign on with the Hulkamania touring promotion for the Australian tour... a weird happening considering that the tour already had a full roster for what seemed like a one time thing...

But it wasn't.

Supply and Demand (Sean Morley and The Godfather) vs. The Idols (Brett Idol and Idol Stevens)

<div style="text-align:left;">Sean Morley and The Godfather reunite Supply and Demand for the Hulkamania tour and have been presented with wrestling The Idols (Brett Idol and Aaron Idol Stevens). Stevens is of course known for his brief run in the WWE on Smackdown while Idol is known for his tours with the NWE and being the number one graduate of Booker T's professional wrestling school. The Idols are an unproven team but could look very strong with a victory over Supply and Demand.

<div style="text-align:left;">-----Before the first event of the Hulkamania tour had taken off (Which looked to be set to take off in a big way based on some of the talent snagged... although its just a tour.... shhh) a few noticeable website updates were made. Among these were a huge addition to the talent roster that of course couldn't go unnoticed as it went from Hogan, his buddys and a few talented guys to Hogan, the talented guys and his buddys in backstage roles. Although the roster was mainly former WWE Superstars it had a lot of people's attention as a roster that big for a "one time tour" was beginning to get quite suspicous... as they should've been as only three weeks before the show it was announced by Eric Bischoff that all four tour shows would be shown live and FOR FREE via live internet feed to American fans.

Something was definitely up...

Why oh why did the E ever let Cade go? Time for him to make a name for himself in a new company, even if it is just a tour....shhhhh.

Supply and Demand vs. The Idols

The thing about Godfather and Morley is that they were over whether they won or lost, so why not give the rub to the idols.

Simply because London has the most mainstream exposure. If this match goes on first like I expect it is a great way to get the crowd involved from the get go.

Layfield introduces the show and dominates this segment for the most part but Kloss has his moments. (I'm going to fire Kloss as soon as suitable announcer replacement is found because he sucked the show up for the most part).

Eric Bischoff comes out after the show introduction by himself. Bischoff thanks everyone for coming out and tells everyone the Hulkamania Tour is going to be a HUGE success! He explains that this tour is just the start of some big things to come... one of those is the death of Hulkamania. *Cue boos from the crowd*. Bischoff explains that he has brought in Ric Flair to wrestle Hulk Hogan on the tour but doesn't think Flair has what it takes to get the job done anymore... this causes a chorus boos to unload. Bischoff tells the fans that even though him and Hogan are friends that Hulkamania has ran its course and its time for the next generation of wrestling to erupt which is why he has hired one man to kill Hulkamania... a man who Bischoff has no right to introduce. The lights go out and an all to familar voice is heard over the speaker system.

Anderson explains that he is the hottest free agent in professional wrestling and has signed on for Eric Bischoff to represent him.... Anderson tells everyone that he is the next big thing in professional wrestling and will be carrying this Hulkamania tour on his back... before he can continue the entrance music of Ric Flair hits...

<div style="text-align:left;">Ric Flair walks out of the entranceway to an even bigger ovation than Mr. Anderson recieved... Flair comes to the ring and grabs a microphone... Flair explains that he wasn't brought in by Bischoff to "kill Hulkamania" but the deal was to do one more big show with one more big match! Flair tells Anderson to not try any funny stuff in the main event and that he isn't here to help Bischoff and Anderson kill Hulkamania or to help Hulk Hogan out... he is here for one more ride on SPACE MOUNTAIN!!! WOOOOOOOOO!

Matt Cross vs. Alex Koslov vs. Paul London vs. Teddy Hart

<div style="text-align:left;">Cross, Koslov, Hart and London were giving the responsibility of opening the show. This responsibility turned out to be a pretty good success with the crowd getting into the match as much as possible since three of the men in the match are relatively unknown. Hart and Koslov spent a lot of the match attempting to work together to get rid of Cross and London so they could go at it themselves... however Hart and Koslov would eventually turn on each other. A lot of highspots took place in the match with suicide dives, top ropes and hurricanranas everywhere. Finish came after Hart nailed a Double Underhook Flipping Piledriver on Cross for what would seem to be the finish only for Koslov to run in and nail Hart with a running boot... before Koslov can make the pin he is met with a Dropsault by Paul London... London then climbed up top and a 450 Splash onto Koslov later got the win in the Hulkamania Tour's first match.

Winner: Paul London

Juvi tells London that even though he was able to defeat three other men tonight there is no way he can defeat ZEE JUICE! London grabs a microphone and tells Juvi that next week he will prove why he is the best high flying wrestler in the world today.

<div style="text-align:left;">Backstage the Fun Athletic Guys are shown doing calisthenics and other FAG stuff with each other. Doane and Jeter stop for a minute and approach the camera. They explain that they are no doubt the top tag team on the tour. Doane goes on to say they are former tag team champions and two of the best wrestlers Hulkamania has to offer. Jeter interrupts and tells Doane that without a doubt the Fun Athletic Guys will outperform, outwrestle and outwork the Old Age Outlaws tonight and be back on the way to being a top tag team.

Booker explains that he left TNA as its a promotion that is going nowhere and right now he is focused on getting this tour over with and then seeing where else his career will be going. Booker tells the fans he is glad he can be himself here in Australia and that he will have no problems beating Aumaga tonight. Out comes Aumuga who stares Booker down... Booker asks Aumaga what he has to say... Aumaga doesn't respond so Booker makes fun of him for a minute. Aumuga responds with rage and Booker and Aumuga start brawling... until security and officials break them up.

The Idols (Brett Idol and Aaron Idol Stevens) vs. Supply and Demand (The Godfather and Sean Morley)

<div style="text-align:left;">Solid tag team match with Supply and Demand making the Idols look really strong by letting Brett and Aaron work over on the Godfather for a majority of the match. Eventually Morley was tagged in and cleaned house which got the crowd going... a Money Shot to Aaron Stevens later and Supply and Demand picked up the win although the Idols are the team to look out for here in Hulkamania (ON THE TOUR!)

U-Gene vs. Lance Cade

<div style="text-align:left;">Lance Cade and U-Gene no doubt steal the undercard with a good comedy brawl. U-Gene outperforms Cade in the opening segment of the match by topping Cade with chain wrestling moves. Eventually Cade gets frustrated and starts beating the crap out of U-Gene... eventually things calm back down and Cade takes back over with U-Gene getting some offense in here and there with his usual comedy schtick. Eventually Cade is able to reverse a Rock Bottom attempt by U-Gene into a Rock Bottom into a Powerbomb for the finish.

Winner: Lance Cade

Rating: C

U-Gene starts to get up at one point during the promo but Cade puts the boots to him and tells him to lay the **** down... U-Gene eventually makes this mistake again and Cade picks him up and delivers a piledriver straight to U-Gene.

After the wreckage on the Cade/U-Gene incident is cleaned up the Outlaws come to the ring .

Mr Anderson can't have some fun and pretend to be a kennedy and Sean Morley definitely can't talk to the ladies!"... they get to the ring and begin to talk yet again... "Ladies and gentleman... boys and girls... children all of ages... Hulkamania Touring Promotions proudly presents to you its Not Copyright Infringing BEST TAG TEAM IN THE WORLD... the Highway Canine Brian James and the Jacked Ass Billy... err... Kip Jam... err... KIP SOPP the not so NEW AGE, not in the mafia or gang anymore and definitely not unemployed OUTLAWSSSS!"... Kip Sopp grabs the microphone and delivers his line... "And if you aren't down with that I got two words for ya... *Kip looks around at the crowd as they say suck it*... im sorry"... Kip gives the crowd a big goofy grin as they eat up his line.

The Outlaws (Brian James and Kip Sopp) vs. Fun Athletic Guys (Johnny Jeter and Brian James)

<div style="text-align:left;">Very solid tag team match between the two headlining teams of the Hulkamania tour. The fans have had trouble getting into a lot of the undercard matches but they seemed to get into this one especially after the pre-match shoot promo with the Outlaws getting the fans riled up. Sopp looked like a new man in this match and the Outlaws team seems to start getting back on track as there TNA run was horrendous. Sopp worked with Jeter and Doane most of the match and took most of there offense like a champ... eventually James would get tagged in and deliver some shake, rattle and roll to Jeter... however the Fun Athletic Guys proved to be the team of the night after cutting James off with a lowblow and Doane getting the win by giving him a school boy rollup and holding the tights!

Winner: Kenny Doane

Rating: D+

Jarrett puts over the fact it has never been a better time to be a wrestler as he is in the land down under teaming with the greatest wrestler ever... Hulk Hogan. Hogan pops up on the scream and tells Ken Anderson that Hulkamania is going to run wild all over his ass tonight!

Harris and Beefcake fight off the heels and help Kishi up. Kishi looks at both Harris and Beefcake and they charge the ring where the heels are... which sets up...

<div style="text-align:left;">Fun six man tag with the faces looking good and the heels geting in some good offense. Nothing spectacular but the fans popped for the face team a lot especially with Kishi and Beefcake working together. Braden Harris did alot of the actual wrestling since both Beefacake and Kishi are limited... eventually Kishi got Bob Holly with a stinkface and hit Bagwell with the Kishi Driver to get the win in a fun match.

Winner: Kishi

Booker T vs. Aumanga

<div style="text-align:left;">Booker T and Aumanga had an awesome singles match with a lot of high spots, reversals and good stiff strikes. Both men are underrated in the athleticism department and really got the crowd going. Booker and Aumanga brawled all over the arena and Aumanga mas made to look like a star with a lot of false finishes making him look strong. Eventually Booker however was able to get the win with the Scissors Kick after a hard-fought bout.

Winner: Booker T

Ric Flair and Mr. Anderson (With Eric Bischoff) vs. Jeff Jarrett and Hulk Hogan

<div style="text-align:left;">Crowd came unglued for this contest as all four men brought there A Game and Anderson was able to show why he is a Main Event talent. Anderson and Jarrett did most of the work in the match because of the fact that Flair and Hogan are pretty limited ringwise these days... however the parts of the match where both Flair and Hogan were in were memorable... Hogan of course had a hulk-up moment on Anderson which Anderson sold wonderfully and helped raise his stock in the wrestling world... the finish came after the referee was bumped... Anderson went to take out Hogan with a chair but Jeff Jarrett prevented it by clotheslining Anderson out of the ring sending both men onto the floor brawling. Flair and Hogan brawled in the ring for a moment until Hogan had Flair floored with a Big Boot... Hogan started to go for a Leg Drop but Jarrett slid his patented guitar into the ring for Hogan to use... Hogan grabbed it and started to pretend to play it... Hogan then looked at the fans and asked if he should hit Flair with it... the fans responded with a resounding yes as Flair had been heeling it up a lot. Hogan started to go for a hit on Flair but Flair had managed to make his way up to his knees and was begging Hogan to not hit him... Hogan put the guitar down which led to Flair lowblowing Hogan, hitting him with the guitar and signaling for Anderson to get into the ring (As he had taken advantage vs. Jarrett on the outside)... Anderson got in the ring and Flair allowed Anderson to take the pin on Hogan on the first night of the tour.

Winner: Mr Anderson

Thanks for all the feedback for the first show... took a few months off from dynasty writing and feel like this one could be solid. Wanted to explain a bit of picking my roster...

While I'd like to use guys who aren't big three guys but the reality of it is that if Hogan/Bischoff opened up a promotion it would be HEAVILY influenced by guys like I have hired.

Brett Idol was brought in as he is probably Booker T's wrestling promotions number 1 guy and is someone who needs to be in a national spotlight soon.

Alex Koslov has done international tours for AAA and CMLL... seems like a given. Teddy Hart is a third generation guy and someone I could see Bischoff liking.

Kip and BG are going to recieve a big push to help build up my other teams... Fun Athletic Guys are the best team I have in my opinion and will be pushed accordingly.

Booker T was brought in after I read about the Swedish house show incident this past weekend... built him coming in off of that just so I could have a major star... might have a few more as after the Australian tour Hogan and Flair will be put in a lot more limited roles and I will need two more stars to build the company... I mean future tours around.

Morley will eventually break up with Godfather... Godfather probably won't have a job after this tour... nothing against him but he just isn't compatible with anything I have going.

I was really surprised that Cade and U-Gene did that well after some of my other match ratings... really going to be pushing Cade hard.

Just a few thoughts/notes I had after my first show... really enjoyed writing the first one and the second one should be big as well after I get my main event setup.

haha. Jeff Jarrett looks on from the ramp "with guilt". sure - guilt.

I remember the angle that went nowhere. Jarrett attacks Hogan in Japan - they show footage of it on TNA - but Hulk never came in for the match they were building up for (not sure of all the behind the scenes politics involved but guessing the egos could not agree in the end)

so now - maybe - you are building to a reprisal and we will finally get to see that match. Nice ending to the main event match - heels win and build heat until the payoff.

Yeah I figured Anderson and Flair needed to go over... trying to estabilish Anderson as the new Ric Flair on this tour...

Of course Jarrett had guilt... over the fact that his team lost!

Best. Fits perfect with the **** TNA is trying to portray him as... consider this the new nickname of Kip Sopp. I love Bob Holly... fact... never was super good at doing anything but always incredibly crisp in the ring... solid movements and stiff strikes... like a cheap poormans Arn Anderson/Curt Hennig... just looked like a hardass in the ring and was a good hand. Hogan and Flair will both be retired from full time competition after the tour and the launch of the next... tour... yeah. Unless Judy Bagwell and the White Hummer convince them otherwise.
