Just wanted everyone to know that the C-Verse Poll, Real World Poll and the Rookie Poll are now up for the month of November. Please take a moment to vote for whoever you feel is your favorite diary for each choice. Now if you excuse me I have to finish up on reading someone's really good Mid-South diary.

Wow, xDRMx was really off his game tonight....and it brought the crowds mood down....xDRMx is learning better performance skills

*looks at your predictions*

Well that's certainly unlucky of you. Of course you could have done worse. ;)

Chapter #1

The 0/0/0 Promotion or How I Learn To Love Dusty Bin

Review of Wrestling For Shirts and the month of May and the Preview of Wrestling For Hats

Role Call (27): AzzMartin, bak42, benjacko, BHK1978, dkohn, edenborn, KarlKitsch, Marcel Fromage, midnightnick, MrOnu, My Name is Not..., Nedew, pate, Phantom Stranger, randomfreeze, SeanMcFly, Self, ShadowedFlames, Sonfaro, TDubTNA, TheStroke7, Tigerkinney, Timber, Trell, Truth, Waghlon, xDRMx

Before starting this review I have to thank FINisher for his fine last minute rendering of Tempest Appleby.

Prediction Results for WCCW Wrestling For Shirts

Looking at the prediction percentages I knew that this wasn't going to be pretty, but I didn't know it would be this bad. Ten of you might be getting gold stars, but that's because no body was able to get all four matches correct. Though, I'm not that surprised. The first two matches were between wrestlers with similar overness and a good number of you went with the named tag team I created .

That said, I'm a bit shocked that so many of you picked Lion Heart over Stretch The Chicken Boy. Has your love of Stretch waned so quickly that you'd think I'd let "Mr. E" get a win over him? ;) And you might be wondering why I would go through the trouble of having Martin and DeMento lose in their first tag team match. I did that because it was their first time tagging together and I didn't know if they would have at least neutral tag chemistry. Plus having Tempest lose right before his upcoming semi-finals match would be pretty silly if you think about it.

By the way, if indeed Martin and DeMento were to have ended up with bad chemistry tagging I would have turned their tag team into a stable with Martin as their leader. Depending on how I felt I would have either added Eric Blackley or Stretch The Chicken Boy. Probably Stretch so I could add a bit of comedy to the unit.

Overview May 2008

Eric Blackley: Stamina (D to D+)

Jerry Martin: Microphone (B- to B), Stamina (D- to D), Power (D to D+), Psychology (E+ to D-)

Raphael: Microphone (D- to D)

Stretch The Chicken Boy: Hardcore (F- to F), Stamina (D+ to C-)

Tempest Appleby: Puroresu (F to F+), Submissions (F- to F)

Popularity Increases

Davis Wayne Newton: ONT (E- to E)

Jerry Martin: PAR (F to F+)

Raphael: PR (F to F+)

Match Results From Other Companies

Chris Flynn: 4C (Lightning Lomas defeated Blackley and Flynn - E-)

Davis Wayne Newton: 4C (Davis Wayne Newton defeated Slim V - D)

Eric Blackley: 4C (Lightning defeated Blackley and Flynn - E-)

Lion Heart: RIPW (Marshall Dillon defeated Lion Heart - F+)

Randy Maxx: MAW (Ricky Douglas defeated Randy Maxx - E)

Raphael: FCW (El Hijo Del Zonk defeated Raphael - E+), RIPW (Raphael defeated Bear Bekowski - E-)

It's no surprise that we lost so much money this time around. I used three of my four main eventers this time around and got a normal level of income. Davis Wayne Newton continues his rise to superstardom as he increases in skill, popularity, and won another non-WCCW match. Not close behind his Jerry Martin who improves his already stellar mic skills as well as a couple of his lesser skills. As an added bonus his Prairies popularity bumped up to an F+ in his lose. It's almost like I know what I'm doing. ;)

Up Next (Friday, December 4th, 2009): We find out who Davis Wayne Newton will face off in the Intercontinental Finals as Raphael faces off against Tempest Appleby. We also have two winners of last month's matches, Chris Flynn and Stretch The Chicken Boy, going one on one in the opening match. Naturally this should play a big part in who will be the first challenger to WCCW's first champion.

Do you really want to diminish my first gold star like that?:D I see how it is, I will just go grab a window seat and not pay attention anymore.

Update from the author: As a couple of you know, I am in bit of a conundrum right now. After playing through NYCW's chapter, I've been looking into starting up the next chapter. However, after playing a little bit of said game my eyes are starting to wander to other promotions. Though, none of those promotions have sparked my creative side enough to force me to put my full effort into that game. So right now and am asking you guys to help me find the perfect promotion to play as. The survey below is pretty simple. There is a spot for you to name the promotion and data set that you want me to play as well as an essay box for reasoning and additional comments (which are both optional). Now it's not set in stone or anything, but I'm guessing after looking through the results I will set up another survey with a couple of the best ideas to see which of them would be the most popular. Of course, I guess I do have to start that no matter what the results from these syrveys say, at the end of the day it's my choice since I am the one who has to play and post the result of the game. And if I'm not having fun, I'm not going to be doing it.

It was pretty obvious by the percentages, but as you can see that this event was a lot easier to predict that last month's event. And it makes sense because Wrestling For Hats was meant from the get go to set up Wrestling For Gold. The opening match gave another win to a man who I was pushing into the promotion's first non-title related singles feud, Chris Flynn. And then right after the match, I pulled the trigger on the feud by having Warren Technique assaulting the youngster seemly for no reason (don't worry there is a reason).

We also had DeMento pick up a win to help him and his partner, Jerry Martin, gain a bit of momentum since they just lost last month. After the match I ran an angle that got them out of the building, so that there wasn't some "smark" wouldn't say "why didn't Martin and/or DeMento interfere in the main event."

Speaking of the main event, Raphael won because he's a bit more talented than Tempest and because he's a heel and DWN is a face. And I don't really think I need to explain why Justin Sensitive interfered, but I will anyway. I wanted to make each and every match on the Wrestling For Gold card mean something on some level (aka no random matches). So having Justin Sensitive, Raphael's tag team partner, interfere in the match just made sense.

About damn time.

Up Next (Wednesday, December 9th, 2009): The final event for Western Canada Championship Wrestling, Wrestling For Gold. Come see two of Canada's finest, Davis Wayne Newton and Raphael, fight for the right to become WCCW's first champion. Also on the card will be Tempest Appleby who is be taking on the man that cost him a trip into the WCCW Intercontinental Championship match, Justin Sensitive, as well as Chris Flynn who will get a chance to get some revenge on the man that unexpectedly assaulted him last month, Warren Technique. Last but not least, Jerry Martin and DeMento aka Manic Attack will face off in tag team competition against two men that will be returning to the Great White North for the first time since March, Amo Del Gato and El Hijo Del Zonk.
