The Crafts of Controversy: Saving WCW

Recommended Posts

October 1, 1999. I just found myself there. Really I didn't know my rants on the Monday Night Wars and even the failing WCW would get me here in Atlanta, Georgia. I hate five hour trips. And I found myself getting a free plane ticket just to go from San Diego, California to Atlanta, Georgia and here now they send me on the WCW headquarters. Well I gotta say that this is a hell a set of buildings really. I can't believe that WCW is this successful. Too bad the people inside those buildings are going to ruin the company for themselves and they don't even know.

I've seen it happen. WCW is going to fall I know it. From the view of a critic as well speaking for anyone else that agrees with me that WCW will die, they never changed their formula, their product. Look at the WWF. They've gone from family friendly to attitude. Shawn Michaels to Stone Cold. From family friendly promos and finishing lines to middle fingers and crotch chops. They've changed the product in such time even though WCW were killing them in the ratings on those last two years. WWF's product evolution gave them a weapon against WCW and now just three months, we go to year 2000. This war has been happening for nearly four years in the making. Will it stop? Who knows? Its whoever gives up first. But in the eyes of many, WCW seems to be losing a battle here.

Get a good look on WCW. They've made the New World Order the most dominant stable there is considering that they've embarrassed the Four Horsemen, they've stolen WWF talent such as the likes of Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. I don't consider Hall as a talent though as his promos sucked!! Would you look at this guy? He should be winning championships in the WCW but he wanted to do things the hard way and just be one of those troublemaking bastards. He's one I have not seen. Kevin Nash, he's big time talent. Hogan goes the same. WCW bound superstars such as Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, Booker T, Stevie Ray, Sting, Flair, Bagwell, and the list goes on became the meat that nWo should be eating. Sting however became the leader of WCW against nWo and that bought lots of money for the company putting the mysterious face painted figure against a group of more than 20 men. The cruiserweights, Bischoff specialty of bringing in luchadors and japanese puro wrestlers. Many of them didn't like the fact that they are getting pushed back. Bill Goldberg. The winning streak guy. NFL reject that really got popular with the crowd with the oozing charisma even though he lacked on the microphone skills. I could go on with this but I don't choose so. WCW just became a roster full of WWF then talents, cruiserweights, luchadors, yesterday's talent, bodybuilders, big men and that's pretty much it. No hot girls with the exception of Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson and it was the same storyline again and again and again and again. No wonder how WCW is already failing.

Eric Bischoff is sure a hell of a one controversial man. Hiring those luchadors, disobeying their traditions, hitting nails in the coffin on the WWF and even getting really controversial with his employees. Chris Jericho and Paul Wight (The Giant but you know who he is) ended up on the WWF because they hated the way WCW was booked. They hated the way that they were pushed. Paul was wasting his talents on WCW and same with Jericho. These two guys could possibly be the best workers that the WCW had in a long time. Paul had the size almost like the late Andre Giant and Chris Jericho was going to be the next big thing. And now Bischoff is seeing what these two are becoming in the WWF, big mistake!

And now I heard that today, they have Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara coming in. What is that going to do? Create another crash tv? Vince doesn't realize that WCW is bound to be family friendly and I have a feeling that he'll go with the same book he did with the WWF.

Yeah controversy creates cash. But when I go into that building, something is going to happen I could feel it.

"How may I help you sir?"

"I'm called here by Ted Turner and I got a call from here that he wants to see me."

"Do you have an appointment sir?"

"Why do you think I'm here then?"

"Calm down sir. You'll be called up by Mr. Turner himself. Please take a seat."

And then there. I took a damn seat. This lady can't understand anything I'm saying can't she. No wonder this company is failing. Even their workers are cheap and not even qualified to do the job.

Taking the elevator I head to Ted Turner's office. Then once I knocked on the door, he started talking.

"Come in boy"

"You wanted to see me?"

"Yes. My men and I have seen what you have been writing on your website on this Monday Night War. On how the WWF and WCW are failing on some of their points and from a wrestling critic yourself, you are seeing that WCW will fall? Is that so kid?"

And here my story starts.

Flashback two minutes time. Three minute time, two days ago. I'm just hanging out with some friends at San Diego beach, taking a break from professional wrestling rants. Taking a break and recharge soon. I heard Russo was already jump shipping to WCW but what is the cost anyway? It didn't matter at all. Once Russo gets there to book WCW, I'm done. I don't want to see WCW crumble into pieces and simply fall down to bankruptcy. The switch that Russo would want would take years to succeed just like how he had done it with the WWF.

As I get home in the night, my phone started to ring. A random number of some sort. I didn't know who the hell this guy was and even so the fact that it was a different area number. Completely uttered and having no choice, I'll have to answer the damn phone. Crazy. Who would call me in the night. Unless someone is inviting me into a party. I had to answer the phone just to see who it is that is calling upon me.

"Hello?"

And then this following sentence just stopped my heart from pumping. It stop my heart from working to keep me alive. It put me almost on a death bed.

"Hello this is Ted Turner, owner of WCW, is this Robert Brown?

"Yes it suppose so. Did you just say that you are Ted Turner? From WCW?"

"Indeed sir. And I must be talking to the man responsible for the latest most popular wrestling rants on the internet I suppose?"

"Yeah you're talking to him. Well how did you come across to getting my phone number sir?"

"Oh I have my own resources for getting this phone number'

He sounded like he was excited to talk. Yet old but he has that excitement on his voice.

"Well why are you calling at this time of the night Mr. Turner?"

Seriously why would you call?

"Well seeing that we've seen your work on the net all over the place, we would like to have a chance to speak to you for a first time. Finding out what you have to offer."

"What do you mean by having something to offer?"

"With Mr. Bischoff taking hiatus from his position, we've managed to get Vince Russo on our side and jump ship to the WWF. And with that, we also managed to get his partner Ferrara, Ed Ferrara with him to come and work for me."

"So everyone knew that Russo would come to WCW."

"Yes we already had a signed deal back at the end of August and we gave him a month more to stay with the WWF. I suppose that is the information that you are looking for to answer your question."

That wasn't a question old man.

"Alright I guess. But why would you want to see me again?"

"Mr. Brown, I sent a private plane waiting for you on the airport. Get here tomorrow at Atlanta to discuss some matters about your view of wrestling."

"Oh alright then sir. What time is the flight?"

"9:00 in the morning. Do not be late or the plane will leave without you."

"Oh alright Mr. Turner. I'll be there as soon as I could."

"Good. We'll see you from then Mr. Brown. Good night."

He hung the phone up. The sounds of bleep started to project on my phone. Who did just call me? Ted Turner? Was that a prank? He sounded like Ted Turner and now there is a plane waiting for me on the airport. Oh what the hell is going on? Is all of this on my mind or what? I said to myself:

"What the hell just happened?"

Present time, yeah inside Ted Turner's office man. This man looked the same to me as he continued to own this company now falling into the failure of his head bookers. What a loser this guy is. Did he just want this company to get exposure on the wrestling world or what? Hopeless. I stand next to him however.

Continuing after I've let him finish his sentence, I had to start talking. There was nothing to say but yes.

"Yes I am. And I suppose that you are responsible for if not the biggest company there is in the wrestling business as of today?"

"Well yes I am. Now I called you up here for a specific reason."

"What is your reason then sir?"

"Now I know tht we have Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara coming in here from the WWF."

"The obvious."

"Of course and with Bischoff gone, I don't think we are ready of what would Russo would bring to WCW. What kind of product, I don't want everything to change. Since then when we had Hogan sign to WCW, the product stayed the same, the ratings went up higher and they won't go down. Now I see that the ratings could fall if we depend on Russo's type of booking but as well it could rise would it?"

Not a damn chance. Get your hopes out Turner.

"Yeah sure we could go with that."

"I wouldn't have to count on it yet. My men say that if we stayed on our game, on the product, we might have a chance to win and stay on top. If we go on Russo's booking, they were against it but I couldn't resist stealing Russo from McMahon. You wouldn't huh Mr. Brown."

"Right I guess."

"I shouldn't be talking about you on the creatives. I will be heading on a meeting later on and I won't be able to speak to you at this time sooner than later. But I have one thing in mind for you."

Oh come on. You make me come here and talk about something and now you are going to ditch me. Are you really for real Ted Turner? Is this how you act to your clients you old man.

"Make a good story short, Mr. Brown, we have seen your work on the net and under such considerations of the creative team and our meeting last week, we've decided to put you on the creative team as well. As well sharing jobs with the television, production crew, storylines, etc. etc. Are you up for the job?"

No f*ck*ng way.

"Are you serious sir?"

"Yes I am. How much will your salary will cost us me boy?"

"Salary? I'll think about it for now sir. So what do you have in mind for me?"

"Like I once said, I got a meeting to attend to Mr. Brown. you'll be meeting up with Mr. Rhodes later sooner than later. Are you following me? He's a member of the creative team and I've assigned him to show you around here on the area. But here is the thing Mr. Brown, your identity cannot be shown on the public. And I don't want McMahon here anything about this alright? One more thing, good luck with this job better make things right and get along with the creative team. Well at least try to get along with them and we'll see where you'll go from there."

"Alright I'll try."

"Robert Brown, welcome to World Championship Wrestling."

Both of us stood up on our chairs and shook hands. Mr. Turner was smiling like he was really happy. Think more of that crazy Ghost of the Christmas Present on Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Well then. As he left the building, I had to leave the office.

In just a matter of minutes, I'm employed to WCW. What's next? Creative team? Here we go.

"Hey kid. I heard ya the new guy on the team."

As I was walking my outside the door, heading out of the headquarters, right into my eyes, I saw one of the living legends of the wrestling business. I used to write good things about this guy. I gotta say even though his WWF years were the most stupidest things he had done as a polka dotted character, he is a territory legend. In fact he is an NWA legend. Whether you name matches back in the day against Flair or Race or Funk, this guy is a hell of character. He was none other than Dusty Rhodes.

He maybe that old but as well he has a pretty good mind in the business. As I come across to him, he was just coming into the building. Wearing a formal going to work suit, he laid a smile upon my eyes and what they say that fat people are supposed to be jolly, well he proved that fact.

Then I answered. "Well yes I am."

"Its glad to see a new blood in the team. I still can't believe though that Ted would actually hire a guy from the internet."

"I think you got it wrong sir. Yeah I wrote on the internet but it was for the people as well."

"I thought of that too kid. But ya know you had the same way that guy Russo did back on the WWF.

"Yeah I knew of that."

"You've heard of me correct?"

"Well yeah you are a living legend. You are the American Dream. You are Dusty Rhodes. NWA legend man. You are a priceless kinda guy. You belong to the list of Flair, Harley Race, Steamboat, all those legends of the past."

"Yeah that's true. The good ol' times seems to catch up to me now."

He hesitated for a moment then he started speaking once more.

"But ya see being in the creative team, ya ain't gonna get along with everyone ya see. Its gonna be a tough journey for ya and rookie experience, you are going to get your pink slip handed at ya at the door if you started talking back."

"What do you mean?"

"Take this as a warning my boy. Make friends, don't burn bridges. And don't get near getting into an argument with Bischoff. Because if you did, a lot of things are going to happen that will revolve the two of you."

"Don't get me wrong but he's a very controversial man."

"Yeah that is true indeed."

I tried to speak but he just had to cut me off.

"Robert Brown right?"

He cut me off just to ask my name?

"Yeah."

"On the creative meetings, a lot of things happen. We argue against each other about ideas, we fight over who should be hired, we talk about ratings, controversy, conspiracy etc. Things get ugly real quick real fast on our meetings. And Ted hired Russo to be the head of the team and the executive producer because he thought that he could change the way we work here. The way we do our thing and the way we book our shows and write our scripts for the wrestlers. I wouldn't loved the idea of bringing in Russo and Ferrara but ya know its for the good of business."

"So you are saying that it's good business."

"Pretty much yeah."

"I don't think its a good deal?"

"Why not?"

"Why not?" I paused, trying to breath. "Why not you ask? Well the fact that he turned the WWF from family friendly to putting in some attitude and booking the show like crash tv and as well using MTV ideas, he is the start of making wrestling not to be reached for everyone. Look at how WCW was taking over the ratings, because we had something new each and every time. WWF used their same roster and just started manipulating them and changing their gimmicks. And I think that is what you guys are doing. Look at the roster, we have so many old guys but not enough new guys on the roster to push. We already wasted talent like Jericho and Austin and Foley and they could've been the new generation of WCW."

"That's Bischoff's fault. Blame him for that boy."

"Yeah we could blame him but bringing Russo and Ferrara in wouldn't make any difference. We wouldn't be original but yet just trying to copy the same formula that the WWF used, otherwise the formula that Russo used to book the WWF."

"Tough you are correct but I want to see how the minds of today differs from the minds of yesterday."

"Just think about it."

Under my breath, I had to pause. Dusty looks intrigued by what I had told him. With a look, I just put my eyes on his own, giving him a good grasp of what I'm talking about.

"Just think about it."

Its been a day. 24 hours it has been. From making a trip of California to Georgia, talking to one hell of a billionaire, meeting a living legend and getting employed to WCW, I don't know what to say. Really I don't even have a clue where to start with. I made a mark to professional wrestling from being an internet ranting writer to being a member of the creative of WCW. What a hell of a big jump. A big push I should say. Speaking of pushes, I now wondered that I need to push the Disco Inferno character a little bit more and see where that would go. Or maybe not. I wouldn't count on it though.

Going back to the headquarters of WCW somewhere in Atlanta. Man no wonder where to go, one of Ted's assistant met up with me as I enter the door.

"Mr. Brown, Mr. Turner has requested you to come with me."

"What is it?"

"Mr. Turner has assigned you into an office on the 3rd floor of the building."

"Then why am I coming with you?"

"I've been requested to show you where your office will be sir."

"Oh yeah. Right. I knew that. Shall we?"

We headed on the elevator. Now finally I'm getting some treatment here. Not only that Turner's assistants and workers aren't just qualified but they are just fine. As we head to the third floor, she started walking with those heels which it annoyed me because of the sound and when we got there, she started speaking again.

"Well here you are sir."

Looking into the office itself, it needs fixing.

"It looks delicate."

"Not only that sir but it as well comes with everything you are going to need."

"Even my own assistant?"

HAH! Good laugh. Basically I was joking but I think that she was taking everything serious. Job description? Probably.

"I suppose so sir."

"Good. That's awesome."

"Awesome. Would you need anything else sir?"

"Yeah are you qualified to stay here a little longer?"

"I guess so."

"Then stay miss. Just for a little bit."

A hell of a good morning. Coming into work for a multi million dollar company, the only thing that this place lacks is Ted Dibiase. Oh wow. Past the half hour I've been inside the office with that assistant that showed me my office, the door was closed and someone was knocking in. He didn't bother to wait though. What an act. Then he opened the door, he had a surprised look at what he saw.

"Boy, what the hell are you doing?

Oh boy. That was Dusty.

"Oh hey man."

"Boy what in the world are you doing? This ain't the right place for that. Oh God I hope Ted didn't hire one of those bastards in the ol' town bar."

"Relax."

"We need to talk Rob."

"Oh alright."

"I should probably go now huh."

"Yeah. Call me later."

As she left the office, she gently slams the door as Dusty comes in. I'm sitting behind the desk like an official business man. Or in this case, an executive.

"Dusty take a seat."

He took a seat. Then he started speaking in a barrage of words.

"Boy, Russo and Ferrara are coming in today. Right from the WWF. And tomorrow, we have a meeting to set up this month's storylines, finances, marketing, productions, merchandising and we have a lot of things to discuss tomorrow. And we are all meeting in, including you and them. So betta' be ready for tomorrow. Don't screw up."

"No biggie. We got this under control."

"As well what we've talked about yesterday. I thought some about it and about the new set of superstars you are talking about."

He made a pause there. And I thought now as he paused, he wanted me to speak.

"Oh alright. What about them?"

"Don't mean to spoil anything for you but we have some set of superstars ready to shine."

"Like?"

"We'll be talking about that in the meeting tomorrow."

"Damn. Well man I'll say thanks and we can move on from here."

"True m'boy. But with what you've done before I got in here, I could had get you suspended."

"So? I won't screw up on this job. I never do."

"Just warning you boy. I won't do anything yet but just watch yourself out here."

"And right here is one hell of a company we all need to save."

"And it begins tomorrow."

Yeah it sure will.

People have the same opinion each and every day don't they? Simply enough though they tried to fit into the crowd and that is why they end up with the same opinions and something to say each and every time.

As I go into the bar after work was done, that's what I had noticed.

And I think that was the same thing happening with the nWo for the past two years ain't it so?

And now here we get the news. The next day as I walked into the doors to my office, it was something more of a first experience. Today is the first creative meetings. This should be fun considering that Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara are there. They probably talk about something about how they booked the WWF and brag about it. This is WCW man. Oh well.

I walked into the creative team. It was more of a business meeting trying to promote something. Then mix it when you go into those conference rooms where generals talk about their strategy to win the battles against their opponents. On a table, I sat on the very right end corner of that table. Oh well.

As we started the meeting, there was the team itself.

J.J Dillon. Most famous ever manager mostly known for his managerial services of the Four Horsemen. He probably led the Horsemen through many victories and defeats but he served a great purpose in the group. Then when WCW came along, I heard that he's been part of the booking team/creative team of WCW.

Kevin Nash, ain't this obvious why they put this guy on the team. He doesn't have one of the best minds in the wrestling business. But when they put him on the head booker position somewhere at the point of mid 1998 and even putting himself on the championship scene and ended Goldberg's winning streak. Man what a dumb booking idea. At least he's not as worse as Scott Hall.

"Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko. One of the guys who belonged to the list of guys like Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Harley Race, and many more of those guys who really went for the traditional aspect of wrestling and not for its sports entertainment joke. He's one of those guys that had a mentor and was trained in the ways of being a good and respected wrestler. And beating Bruno Sammartino, his mentor made him almost overcome his mentor. This man has been one of the men of the NWA.

Dusty Rhodes. Ya know this guy. He's another living legend even though Zbyszko took up that name already. He's one of those guys you have to remember in the NWA. And ya know, he is an American Dream. Too bad for his kid Dusty though.

Mike Tenay. The Professor. His experience with WCW got him on the run and rose up to the rankings and became a member of the creative team. One of the best announcers yet to be heard after Jim Ross. Yeah this is WCW's fault they released Jim Ross too. Jerks. Oh well. Tenay served more as the man who helps us editing the scripts and storylines and how the matches should go. Great.

Zbyszko talked. "Alright guys now where's those two idiots that are going to book WCW!!!"

I'm not suprised. I knew they were going to be late.

"Well then. While we waitin' for those two to get here, here let me introduce you our newest member of the team, Robert Brown."

I had to stand up as the five men clapped their hands, giving me a good welcome. Kevin started talking right after the applause stopped.

"Well I guess this adds another screw up excluding those New Yorkers coming here to take over Eric's job huh?

Tenay right back at Kevin in my defense. "Give the new kid a chance will ya Kevin!"

"Oh shut it Mike."

"Stop it both of you, dammit we always get this from you Kevin!"

"Relax Larry. Geez your nerves always get pushed."

"Stop it ya two."

Wow so this is what Dusty meant you gotta get along with the team.

As they continued to argue, I heard footsteps approaching the door. Two guys coming in.

It was Russo and Ferrara.

Walking into the door, Ferrara spoke.

"Hello WCW! Sorry were late man."

"So you guys are Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara?"

"Ted didn't tell us about a new guy on the team?"

Larry silently whispered to himself. "And no one told us you two are going to be late. Damned New Yorkers."

"Well yeah you see..."

Vince Russo cut me off as I tried to finish my sentence. "Shut up kid. We are here to make this place a better place. Especially better than Vince McMahon's place. Now boy, you gotta lot to learn how we do things here."

Angered inside my mind, I didn't want to speak out. Boy? I'm younger than you Russo but I ain't no teenage sensation!! Protecting myself though, I ended up speaking.

"Learn from you? No one came here to learn man."

"Whatever kid."

Both men took a seat as we all did. Then Russo opened his mouth again and started talking.

"Alright then. So what do we got here?"

"Well Vince, you tell us. Your the head here."

"Alright then. So we got no nWo, no Hulk Hogan on the main event scene, & no Bischoff."

"I think we should bring back Hogan should we?"

"Or we could just bring back the nWo again?"

"Ya see Kevin, that wouldn't probably a good idea right now. Look at what we have on the main event heel guys. You guys turned Sting bad guy and Luger as well and there is no big babyface popular enough to fight all the nWo."

"You forgot Macho Man and Goldberg Russo."

"I said big enough boy. Macho Man is already past his prime and Goldberg just got pushed back down into a feud with Sting. There is no one to take care of the nWo or play as the good guy. Most of the roster are bad guys!"

"Bret?"

"He's gotta a point. We could have Bret against the New World Order."

Kevin started interrupting the good flow. "Hogan and I started talking about this and we wanted to have Bret on the nWo instead of him against us."

"I wouldn't count on it though. Bret wouldn't want in the New World Order."

"Yeah I don't want Bret in the order. I want him against the order."

"So when we bringing in it back?"

"I'll bring it in whenever I want to."

The it erupted.

"What? You can't do that? We talk about this right now. You ain't in charge of the whole team here."

"Shut your **** up Big Daddy Cool. Why do you think I'm brought in here? I don't like babysitting the team here. I like to lead it and I say that the order will come back whenever I say so."

Kevin had a pissed look on his face. He wanted to talk but he kept his mouth closed.

"So we got the order set and plan. That should bring in lots."

"Russo boy, I ought to think we better push some of our midcarders and upper midcarders to the main event so when....

Ferrara had to interrupt Dusty here.

"Excuse me slob but did you just say we need to push midcarders?

"Yeah that's what he said Ed. Now I think that...

He interrupted me!!

"Now we need to get the ratings back, we don't want to waste our time pushing midcarders who can't bring in good money and ratings!"

"What? Then what the hell? We are going to keep doing the same thing over and over is that what you are trying to say? Keep the old guys main eventing?"

"It has to work."

Vince started to pick up his act on the situation and spoke again.

"Look guys. We need to overcome the ratings. We have to destroy the WWF on the ratings. We've been hitting several low tv ratings for the past two years. Well you guys did but the point is we have to keep our story lines fresh and new with the same people so the fans wouldn't get tired. Plus with their popularity, it'll bring probably new viewers as well."

But....

"Not buts boy. That's how we are going to do it and that is how it should be ran."

What the hell? I get interrupted, they pissed off Kevin, Zbyszko hates these New Yorkers and they disrespect Dusty Rhodes, calling him a slob? What the hell is that? Maybe this wasn't a good idea bringing in Russo and Ferrara.

I wish Ted would see this.

"I want cruiserweights to do the same thing they do everytime, I want more girls into the show and no I don't want Ms. Elizabeth! And if you are talking anyone we gotta push, I want Steiner and Jarrett on that list."

As we continue the meeting, we've been starting arguments, fighting fire with fire, talking about the ratings, and all those crap.

"Tenay, once you get back on the announcing table tomorrow night, tell Schiavone to start some insults on the WWF. He'll be a pretty controversial character by then. With the scheduling, we want Schiavone to do whatever he can to spoil WWF plans."

"Wouldn't that be bad?

"Mike, we are trying to fight the WWF. Its just the same crap that Bischoff wanted Schiavone to do back then?

I gotta question Vince. Why are we picking Jarrett and Steiner to be the two guys that you want to be push?

"Why? Here boy, make a story long short, Jeff Jarrett, if McMahon didn't release him from his contract, he would've gotten a good push as a ****ing lady hating persona and he would've gotten an egomaniac character change. But since Jeff and Vince had problems, that didn't happen. Steiner, he's better than his brother and he's been getting a good grasp of his entertainment skills. A little bit more time and we could be getting him a world championship on his waist."

What about the other guys? Benoit? Guerrero? Mysterio? The cruiserweights have chance to shine."

"They have no charisma. We can't get ratings out of those guys. They keep the show solid with their flashy moves and kicks. That's their purpose here."

"Eddy has a good set of mic skills and charisma, why don't we give him a shot??"

"Come on Larry. Would you think that the American society would buy Eddie Guerrero as a World Champion in the US?"

"Dammit Russo. Just give him a chance and we'll see where he could go from then?"

"Sorry Larry."

"Russo, let me state the fact that we need stars. We can't depend on just Hogan and the nWo and Sting and Goldberg, we need break out wrestlers."

"You know what fine, here I got a set of superstars for you guys to look at. Jarrett, Steiner, Booker T, and Stevie Ray."

"I wouldn't agree on all of them but I'll work with them."

"Bringing this up but we need to start focusing on polishing up new talents and send them to Wildside to train them as well."

"Yeah I agree with you Dusty. There are a lot of bright and hot prospects in the indies today. And the fact that they are young, over the years, they could be one of our Hogans and Savages and Hitmans and Flairs. They could go big."

"Alright. So with the roster, there are some young guys we need to send back down to Wildside and let them polish their green nature. What's your name boy?"

He asked me? I forgot to introduce myself, hah.

"Robert. Robert Brown."

"Alright Robert, your in charge with Wildside and try to find us some prospects to send there. And also you are in charge of working with the midcard talents."

"Alright then."

"That settles that. Tomorrow night is our first show. First things, I don't want Bret or Hogan appearing on TV until Halloween Havoc or some where there. Secondly, Saturday, we are going to move the tapings to Saturday and if it doesn't cost us, we need another network to feature Nitro."

"Another network? Why would we need another network when we already have the ratings on our side."

"Because we need more ratings. We need more channels to feature Nitro. We can't just stuck up with one, excuse me two networks."

"I think TBS and TNT are enough to show our programming."

"Mike has a point. And so does Kevin. We don't need another network. It'll overkill."

"We'll see what happens from here on then."

"Can I say the fact that we should be showing our shows sometime on the internet?"

What? As Ferrara make the comment, everyone altogether said one word.

"NO!!!!"

Why would you want to put Nitro on the internet anyway? I can't believe that this is what booked the WWF and turned it into a success.

Russo had a smile on his face. As our meeting get completely done, we all walked out of the room, thinking that it went really bad. Some of it went alright and it was on our favor and it would have been the fact that Ferrara and Russo were two New Yorkers that disrespects other people. No wonder Larry hated them in the first place.

As I walked out of the door, Kevin stepped right in front of me, looking down at me. I might be in the height of six foot but this guy just look down on me.

"Robert, I want you to meet the gang."

Yeah, after the creative meeting, Kevin and I started walking on the aisles going down on the lower floors.

"Impressive. Robert, I got impressed with some of the ideas ya mentioned a while ago."

"Well that is just how I think."

"Well now that you are a part of the creative team, you need to make allies here at WCW. Once you get lost here on the company, you are going to have a hard time finding your shuffle back and when there is no one to back you up, the higher chances that you are going to get fired if you did something wrong."

"Really? Well then."

"Robert..."

"You can call me Rob."

"Alright. Rob, well you need allies and firstly we all know the reason that Ted hired you right after he got Ferrara and Russo on the roof."

"Yeah he kinda told me."

"And we thought the once Bischoff was gone which is happening right now, there is no one to support our plans. My plans. Hogan's plans, Scott's plans. And we figured that you probably as half as smart as Bischoff would be."

"Wait? Me? Supporting your ideas? Your already on the creative team man you can let those ideas out on the meetings!"

"I know but the creative team is full of bad blood and I'm sure that Russo and Ferrara are going to get into some bad blood with one of us."

"Make that all of us."

"Right the idea is we want someone fresh. Someone who can get along with everyone. Bischoff got along with everyone because he knew what he was doing and he got WCW into fame and fortune. Russo and Ferrara, they don't know what they are doing. So we picked you instead."

"Why me? I know that those two guys are already pissing off our older guys but why me?"

"Like I said, we wanted a fresh blood to support our ideas. I know we got all creative control clause and we could use that to change the scripts and all that non sense. But as well we need someone to represent our ideas to the team and as well to Ted. We'd figure that we'll give you an evaluation and well see where you'll go on the team."

"Alright then."

We went down on the first floor and we went separate ways. But before we did so, we stayed on the front outside of the headquarters.

"Rob, I want you to meet someone."

I couldn't believe I'm looking at one of the most popular icons in wrestling. I can't believe it. Even though my hatred for this guy had me burning my brain, that might have to change now. Probably this guy overcame Andre but nonetheless, he is an icon at his own right.

"Hey there Brother!!!"

We were nearing 8:00. Its about 7:00. We are at the arena where we are going to do WCW Monday Night Nitro. We had one more meeting. Backstage we came across together, the creative team. Of course Mike wasn't there as he was already talking with Schiavone about how the show is gonna go on. We talked in a locker room.

"Alright guys so its settled. Any word when Hogan is coming back yet?"

Before I could even speak, Kevin already did. "I don't think he's coming back yet Vince."

"How bout Bret?"

"I heard that he's doing something for his family back at Canada. I got a word from him that he'll be coming back soon."

"Good that's great."

"So are we good with the scripts and our roles in the show here?"

"Yeah Robert. The only thing, you ain't doing anything tonight. You'll be watching the show."

"What? What the hell are you talking about? I was part in charge of the productions!!!"

"Ed and I talked about it and he'll be taking over your job for now. Take it as a day off man."

Wow, now I'm a man.

"Now let's get this party started and bring the show to better ratings."

We all left the room, especially me. I'm pissed and you could see it on my eyes. However Dusty approached me.

"Tough break Robert."

"What an ass."

"Well I gotta wrestlers to tell what they gotta do. And I hope they better listen. Wanna learn something?"

"Nah. I'm gonna go head to the bar and watch the show there."

"Ya gonna leave?"

"Hey I got nothing to do. Might as well screw around."

He didn't mind. As I left, we went on our separate ways. I went and with Ted giving me a fabulous car, I drove off a hell of a fancy bar and they had the show on. 7:59, the show is about to start. Let see what Russo's first booking has to offer my entertainment.

Our show opens up with Mike Tenay and Tony Schiavone on the announcer's table. "Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another edition of WCW Monday Night Nitro. I'm Mike Tenay and right here is Tony Schiavone. We are live here in front of more than 25,000 fans all around the world."

"Tenay, tonight, its going to be a hell of a good night. With still no word about the disappearance of Eric Bischoff, it seems that there is no authority yet to be declared here on WCW. But in other news, we are going to see Sting take on the 'Macho Man' Randy Savage."

"Tony, its a one big time main event. Speaking of Sting, here he comes!!!"

The lights darken as they set up the entrance for the WCW Champion, Sting. He comes out of no where with Lex Luger as he carries his WCW World Championship belt on his shoulder. They walked down the ramp and enters the ring, getting mixed cheers from the fans. Both of them grabs mics and they go in the middle of the ring. Sting starts to talk.

"You can't trust anyone here on the World Championship Wrestling any more. Not here on Nitro. Not on Thursday Night Thunder and not even at Saturday Nights."

The crowd boos but Sting kept talking. "Let me have a moment of silence here." The crowd takes a silent pause. "That's a little better. Now on with this. Let me just tell all of you that this show will not go on without me. You see for the past two, three years, I've been carrying this company on my back. Since my match with Ric Flair back almost ten years ago, I carried this company since. Can't all of you just face the fact that I'm WCW? That's why I'm the World Champion. No Hogan, no Bret in the picture of the championship scene, there is really no good man enough to fight me. Savage thinks that he can beat me here tonight, he's dead no chance.

And here let me tell you something. I've beaten anyone there is to beat. Hogan, Nash, Hall, it doesn't matter. The nWo gone, Hogan no more, Bischoff gone, Sting's turn is now. My time is now and I'm going to show that this belt is worth prestigious enough to carry. And I've seen everyone that can challenge me. I'm the franchise of this company. And live with it because I'm the one and will always be the franchise of this company."

The crowd boos. But a very familiar music starts is being heard all around the arena. Mike Tenay makes a comment: "Oh come on. Here comes Goldberg."

Bill Goldberg. He comes out and walks down the ramp in streets clothes and he enters the ring with a mic. He goes up the ring and shows a grin on Sting and Luger. "Sting, WCW World Heavyweight Champion. How ya doin?"

"What in the world are you doing Goldberg?" Sting says.

"What am I doin' here? To give you a piece of my mind. You wanna know what's going on my mind? Since you have been that guy that just beats the down another guy week by week, then what is the meaning of you being a champion? You ain't the franchise here? I am!"

Luger interrupts Goldberg before he can even speak. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, just wait a minute here Goldberg. The last time you had a title, you lost it to Kevin Nash. The last time you were holding that WCW World Championship, you lost both of your ever so popular winning streak and that title. And you are calling yourself the Franchise of WCW? You are no where on the level of Sting. And if I recall correctly, you will never be on his level."

"Luger, you shut your mouth and let me talk. Sting, you and me for that title at Halloween Havoc what do you say?"

Sting looks at the crowd and smiles. Then he looks back at Goldberg. "NO!"

"He just rejected Goldberg!!" Tenay claims as the fans were shocked by the decision.

"Look Goldberg before you Jackhammer anyone here tonight, just understand that you gotta earn your shot." Sting exclaims.

"Fine. But you'll regret your decision Sting. Because when the time comes, YOUR NEXT!!!!!!!!!"

Goldberg leaves the ring as his music hits all over the arena, leaving Sting and Luger clueless.

"Tenay, a disappointed Bill Goldberg just got rejected for a title shot at the World Championship and then tells Sting that he is next!!!"

"I gotta Tony that when Goldberg says something, he makes it happen."

"He sure does!!!"

Result: Jeff Jarrett def. Hardcore Hak

Robert's Notes: One good pretty decent match considering the fact that the crowd was already excited to see more right after that segment with Goldberg, Sting, and Luger. These two guys showed a great match even though it was pretty up there on the level of match expectations. The fans started to create some negative chants on both wrestlers considering that they were bad guys nonetheless Jeff Jarrett has been trying to dominate this match in a good eight minute match. As the time passes, Hardcore Hak tries to lift up Jarrett but his move get counters by Jarrett's finishing move, The Stroke. Jeff gets the pin and as well the win on this one.

After the match, Jeff Jarrett grabs a mic and gets back in the ring.

"Shut up. All of you shut up."

The crowd boos.

"Now if I'm the only one that thinks that match wasn't even challenge, then I want a real damn challenge. I've been here to WCW for such a time and my return on this company, well no one certainly cares anymore. But starting tonight, I will make all of you care about Jeff Jarrett. And I'm going to start beating all what WCW has to offer. And I'm starting with you Chris Benoit."

He shows a grin on his face. "You see Chris, your brand of technical wrestlers are starting to get old and I think its time to revolutionize the wrestling industry by beating someone like you. So whenever you feel like it, I could beat you anytime of the week any time in the day and like whatever his name is here, you'll end up getting a Stroke."

He looks on the camera one more time. "Now choke on the slapnuts!"

Jeff's music hits as he exits the ring.

Result: Eddy Guerrero def. El Dandy

Robert's Notes: You didn't have to overbook this match as this was a pure solid classic. You didn't just had to work the crowd with this match as these luchadores showed what they can do. With a given chance this could be one of the best matches there is that WCW had to offer. These guys were said to be the "backbone" of WCW. I didn't count on it yet. They showed pretty great luchador action and so they hit some flashy moves and quick kicks. The fans cheer some of its action as close pinfalls came into this. However though this match didn't go as far as Eddy Guerrero got a hold of El Dandy and was able to pin him in a roll up.

Backstage, the Outsiders, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall are with "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Of course, Gene gets to speak first.

"Ladies and gentlemen, right now I am with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall better known as the Outsiders. Kevin, Scott, tonight you are going to be taking on the tag team that you lost the WCW Tag team championships to. The Harlem Heat."

Scott Hall steals the mic from Mean Gene. "Look here Mean Gene. Harlem Heat, they are big trouble. You see taking those titles away from us, big mistake."

Kevin then follows up. "Scott, not only that but they embarrassed us. But you know, it ain't going to happen again. It ain't so. And I'm going to tell this Mean Gene, even though the order hasn't came back to take care of business in the WCW, we are going for those titles and Harlem Heat, we are going to show you guys how to get embarrass in these front of many people here."

Scott talks. "So Harlem Heat, boys we are going to show you that we deserve those titles more than you guys do chico."

The Outsiders leaves the set and Mean Gene alone. He speaks. "Well that is the Outsiders right there. Back to you Mike, Tony."

Tony starts to speak once more. "Well they are going to bring competition won't they Tenay?"

"Sure they will Tony. I still doubt it though."

"How could you say that?!"

Konnan vs. Psychosis

Result: Konnan def. Psychosis

Robert’s Notes: Yet once more another fast paced, all out action cruiserweight match. The match was moving quick like you didn’t even know it as the agility and speed of these two men really got the match go fast and by the time the match should be ending, they went for more. Konnan was a little bit off with some of his finishing moves though, concerning that there are facts that he could go near retirement. But he still proved that he can beat anyone on the WCW. There is no one blocking his way to a championship as he takes up the momentum in the end. Psychosis comes back though but his motion just stopped once Konnan roll him up and had the upsetting defeat.

Backstage, we see Sting and Luger at their locker room. We see the WCW World Champion holding his belt on his shoulder while the Total Package is getting ready for his match against Dean Malenko.

"Lex, we've been friends for a very long time right?" Sting says.

"Yeah Sting. Why you ask that?"

"I don't know. We've backed up this company and we helped rise to the top. Now that we got no one to fight, there isn't anything much at all that this company has to offer does it?"

"I guess. Look Sting, I got a match here."

"Yeah. And as well I do. Now let's do this."

Luger opens the door and leaves and as he left the door open, the camera focuses on Sting as he stares on the door.

<a href="

http://s656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/RWL_Com/WCW/?action=view&current=Lex_Luger12.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/RWL_Com/WCW/Lex_Luger12.jpg" border="0" alt="Lex Luger"></a> vs. <a href="http://s656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/RWL_Com/WCW/?action=view&current=DeanMalenko2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i656.photobucket.com/albums/uu289/RWL_Com/WCW/DeanMalenko2.jpg" border="0" alt="Dean Malenko"></a>

“Total Package” Lex Luger vs. “The Man of A 1000 Holds” Dean Malenko

Robert’s Notes: Yeah Malenko made this match a classic one. There is no argument that Luger can never get a classic five star match and his wrestling skills stayed the same and now that his skills are not improving anymore, Malenko had to make this match good and as well he had to make his opponent good. The man knowing a 1000 holds, his gimmick was on sensation as he set up so many submission holds that the middle part of this match just became technical wrestling. But Luger had to come back as he used some dirty ways to get back to Malenko. And as the match comes to a nearing time limit, Luger dominates the match through the end and gets the win.

As Luger celebrates his victory, we see a video package set up on the screen. The video plays and it includes the highlights of Hulk Hogan's WCW career. From coming to WCW, winning many World Championships and his sudden disappearance weeks ago. The question here now is when will he ever come back? And will he come back Hollywood or as the Hulkamania?

After the video package, we see Disco Inferno strutting backstage. That's when he ran over Hugh Morrus.

"Hey Hugh? Can't ya feel the love?"

"What love?" Hugh says, having no idea what he's talking about.

"The love of disco man? I could dance it if I wanted to!"

"Dance? Music?"

"Yeah man! Ya gotta try it ya see."

"Try?"

"Ya man. Listen to this jazz."

He hands a set of headphones to Hugh. He could hear the music and starts dancing it.

"I could feel the music."

"Come my friend and let me show you the light. The light of disco. My own disco."

He follows Disco Inferno as they strut around backstage.

Harlem Heat vs. The Outsiders

Result" The Outsiders def. Harlem Heat

Robert's Notes: It wasn't your normal average match but it was a little better than the last one. The tag team action that the Harlem Heat showed put the hearts of many fans in shock as they went pretty all out now hitting better kicks and selling the slams a little bit more. They started to improve but Booker T shows more improvement in this tag team match. The Outsiders on the other hand were out performed as a tag team and that probably brought fans to come to think and change the channel. How dare those fans. I blame Hal. A good match but Stevie Ray ended up getting a chokeslam in the end though.

The Outsiders celebrated by they couldn't go on. Kevin Nash grabbed a mic and went back in the ring, started talking.

"Hey everyone of you here listen for a moment. No authorities has been seen here on World Championship Wrestling. And Eric Bischoff, well we haven't seen of him yet. But let me tell you something here folks. Even though that the order collapsed a long time ago, it doesn't mean it can't come back."

Scott grabs a mic and follows on. "Yeah that is what we said and let me just take as a time to tell all in your faces that the order was gone but some time in the day, the outsiders comes to invade this ring. And I'm going to tell you this, we are taking over once again!!!!"

Their music hits as they exit the ring. We transition to another segment.

Result: Sting def. Randy Savage

Robert's Notes: I could have asked for a better main event considering that this one wasn't one of the five star matches there is to see. The fans were cheering on the Macho Man though and as well their WCW World Champion even though he was the bad guy in this match. Stinger was putting a show even though he was the better competitor in that match. He showed some great technical wrestling skills, showing it off and almost making the Macho Man look like he doesn't know how to counter an arm bar. How pathetic,

However it seems that the Macho Man takes the match and climbs up a whole new level as he builds up momentum and goes up to the top and hits a flying elbow drop, the only top rope move he could do. He pins Sting but he doesn't get the win with the Stinger kicking out at near three. Randy Savage continues to shine on this match until Sting turns around and moves when he saw Savage flying just to give him an elbow drop. The Stinger gets up and stalks Savage. He hits him in the knee and BAM Scorpion Death Drop. He sets the Scorpion Death Lock to end this match and in the middle of the ring he gets the hold locked in and pressure building on Savage. Suddenly, he can't take it and taps out! Like I said I could have asked for a better main event but it seems that this one will have to do.

"Well it looks like that the Stinger did it again!" Schiavone comments on Sting's win.

"Tony, I gotta admit, this guy has been on high profile matches. He deserves the win."

"You are right Tenay."

Sting celebrates as he takes his WCW World Championship and shows it off to the crowd. He starts to pose for the crowd but that's not until he started running to the ring and showed up giving Sting the.....

SPEAR!!!!!! "Oh My Gosh Bill Goldberg just gave Sting the Spear!!!!" Schiavone says.

"When Goldberg tells someone he is next, he doesn't kid about it!" Tenay follows.

Bill Goldberg goes wild and the fans as well as he looks on a grounded Sting. He waits on the ring and stalks him. Stinger starts to get up and when he wakes up he sees Goldberg kick him in the gut and lifts him up for a Jackhammer. However, another man comes into the ring.

"SELF HIGH FIVE!!!!!!!" The music we hear the ring as Diamond Dallas Page music starts to hit. He runs to the ring and he interrupts the Jackhammer Goldberg was about to do. He looks at Goldberg and gives him the Diamond Cutter!

Tenay follows the comment: "Diamond Dallas Page just gave Goldberg the Diamond Cutter!!"

"Its not just Goldberg that is coming for that WCW World Championship anymore. Add DDP to that list to!!"

"Well ladies and gentlemen, this is all the time we have tonight. See ya next week on Monday Night Nitro here on TNT!!!"

We see DDP looking down on the grounded and unconscious Goldberg and Sting and grabs the WCW World Title, laughing with it as we close the show.

<p>Man. What time did I got home last night? The last thing I remembered was I was drinking while watching DDP hit the Diamond Cutter on Goldberg and he was laughing while holding the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. This should be a hell of a money making angle. Sting now targeted by two people. Just questioning about Luger. </p><p> </p><p>

Waking up on the spot good thing I didn't fell out of the bed. Yet I'm still stuck in a hotel, I ordered room service, went down to get breakfast and back to work with the same car. Well it wasn't even my first week on the job. There hasn't been barely anything going on except meeting so many legends. Being a wrestling fan, I would've pasted out but I got a hold of myself. As I drove the car going to the headquarters, my phone suddenly rang.</p><p> </p><p>

More ring. It kept ringing until I just had to answer that call.</p><p> </p><p>

It was Russo.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">"Hey Robert, what's up man?</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"What do you want?"</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">"Where the hell were you last night?"</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Hey man you told me to go screw off. You took me off the productions and gave stupid Ed that job and there is no point of me being there Russo."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">"I gotta agree. So like anyone care. When's the tapings for Thunder?"</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"I don't know ask Dusty."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">"Ya know you ain't no help here at all. Why are you even on the team anyway?"</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Its none of your business."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">"I'm the head executive booker, I have the rights."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"No you don't."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">"You are no help at all."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

The stop sign turned green.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Good Day."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Then I hanged up the phone. Did I wanted to tell him that Thunder tapings are today? He should figure it out himself. Who would be hating this guy anyone? He already tries to piss me off.</p><p> </p><p>

The car created blazes as I went faster. Then until I reach the parking space, my parking space, I parked and got down. </p><p> </p><p>

Then I got another call.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Hello?'</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"Hey Robert, its Ted."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Oh hi Ted. What's up?"</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"I heard ya met up with some of the team members Dusty and Kevin. How'd they do for you?"</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Fine. I got everything I need."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"That's a good thing m'boy. When you get here, come up to my office."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Alright sir. I'll be there."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

He hanged up the phone. What could he want from me? He should be talking with Russo and Ferrara. But oh well. I guess there is something I gotta hear on Ted's office that probably concerns about me.</p>

<p><strong><span style="color:#808080;">"So Robert, how was the first four days with the company?"</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Was that even a question to ask? First let me just recap, I got into WCW, met Dusty Rhodes, found myself making out with one of Ted's assistants, getting some heat on the creative meeting, making alliances with Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan, how else could've my days went here on this company?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"It was fine. So far I'm liking it."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"Now I noticed that the ratings for Nitro, well I noticed that we beat the WWF in the ratings if you looked at last night. We crushed them."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Maybe Russo is just a good showman."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"I heard that you didn't have to do anything? What happened?'</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Let me tell you what happened.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Russo got me out of production lines and put Ferrara in my spot."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">I've assigned Russo for a reason and if that is how he needs to make the ratings better then fine I'm good with it. But you really need to do something if ya want to keep your job here."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

I didn't even want to work here in the first place.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"I'll tell you what, Thunder tapings are tonight. We are rusting on that show and since one half of our team is in charge of Thunder, why not give it a look and next week try for your self."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Uhh no thanks. I'll rather stick with the team for now."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"So be it."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Mr. Turner, are you familiar of our developmental territory, NWA Wildside?"</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"Yeah I am. We need the hottest prospects of wrestling industry to come to Wildside and be trained."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Yeah I want their potential be fullfilled there and I want to see where they go from here."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"Great great. Who did you had in mind of signing."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Actually, they've signed. Dusty and Larry gave me the list of the guys that they sent to Wildside for development."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"I'd like to see."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

The list, I took it out and showed it to Ted. The list itself contains the names of following superstars:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>AJ Styles</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

Bobby Roode</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

Carly Colon</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

Christopher Daniels</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

CM Punk</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

Colt Cabana</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

James Storm</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

Joey Matthews</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

Mark Jindark</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

Mickie James</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

Samoa Joe</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>

</em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"Interesting."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Yeah and for the next probably four to six months, they should be ready to call up."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="color:#808080;">"Well waste no time. Now get back to work m'friend."</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Alright."</strong></p><p> </p><p>

As soon as I left the room, there came a lot of questions inside my head. Oh well let see what happens.</p>

"The Chairman of WCW" La Parka gets a chance to fight WCW Cruiserweight Champion Lenny Lane in a non title match. We've seen Hugh Morrus with Disco Inferno at Nitro and with the power of music, he might have a chance to beat Goldberg in this one of one action. WCW Thunder opens up with our announcers for the night, Dusty Rhodes & Larry Zbyszko. As some pyros came out popping, we hear from our commentators of WCW Thunder. "Hello everyone. I'm Larry Zbysko here and this is the 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes and I am most happy to welcome you here to Wednesday Night Thunder."

"Oh man!! Lemme' tell ya somethin here Larry. Tonight we are going to see great action. The Canadian Crippla' Chris Benoit will be taking on Lord Steven Regal."

"Oh the good ol' times Dusty. The events that occurred at Nitro just shocked the champion as Sting is now a big target."

"Well I gotta say Larry! If ya are thee champion, especially WCW World Heavyweight Champion, everyone is gonna come and running for you, becoming the hunted."

"I'll tell ya that even though Sting has Luger on his back, it won't help him."

"Now on with the show." Dusty says as we go on.

Result: Sid Vicious def. Brian Knobbs

Robert’s Notes: Is there even a question who would win this match? There was as only one purpose of this match being the opening one and that would probably will be that Russo wanted the crowd getting warmed up considering that no big time promo of some sort ran before this match. In short period of time, Brian Knobbs was actually showing a better brawling skill than the last time we have seen him in the ring. But that doesn’t change the course of how the match went as Sid Vicious was able to pick up the victory after a choke slam was executed.

After the match, Sid comes down on the ring and grabs a mic. Then as he gets back up, the fans started booing from the easy match that he just had.

"I've been the WCW United States Champion for a long time now. And for a very long time, there has been no one and I mean no one that has been able to take me down and pin me. There has been no man breathing that can send me down and take this title away from me. And I mean that THERE WILL BE NO ONE and I mean NO ONE that can steal this United States title from ME!!!! See what I did there with that fatty? I JUST DESTROYED HIM. HE WON'T BE COMING BACK TO FIGHT ME ANYMORE!!!"

He pauses then after a clear long pause, he speaks once more. "I'm looking for a challenge. And I know that there is no one good enough in that locker room to fight me. But if there is anyone good enough, I'll be waiting. RIGHT HERE, anytime of the day. And we'll see what happens from there!!!!"

His music plays as he exits the ring.

"MY! What a choice of words from the United States Champion!" Larry points out as he comments on Sid.

"I gotta say Larry. There is clearly no one that can take him down. But there are some men that are potentially good candidates to beating this guy."

"But I doubt that those candidates can take this guy down. Even if they were altogether."

"I gotta admit, he is pretty tough."

Result: La Parka def. Lenny Lane

Robert’s Notes: Cruiserweight action delivered on this match. La Parka’s entrance might have taken some time in the match. Once he came out, he just started dancing and the crowd got into it, cheering for him. A skeleton actually dances? I’ll believe it. Then now we see Lenny Lane holding a cruiserweight belt not even meant for him but he deserved the title for all his all hard (jobber) work. A fast pace match, La Parka was dominating the entire time! He continues to show that he is a one tough competitor to win that cruiserweight belt. And when the match came at its peak, La Parka came flying out in the ring and eventually won the match after hitting a vicious missile dropkick.

Backstage, we are with Diamond Dallas Page and with him is "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Diamond seems to be looking pretty confident as he gets ready to be interviewed.

"Thank you Larry, Dusty. Ladies and gentlemen, I am with Diamond Dallas Page and DDP, I gotta say that your involvement with Sting and Goldberg last Monday night could be one of the biggest things you have ever done in your career." Gene says as he points the mic to DDP.

"The biggest thing I ever did? Hit Goldberg with the Diamond Cutter? You gotta look at the full and complete history of Diamond Dallas Page. One of them in which me giving the Diamond Cutter to Randy Savage, another is when I gave the Diamond Cutter to nearly half of the WCW roster and I'm as well talking some of those guys that went to some trashy company with a redneck as their World Champion. I've been there man. And just this last April, I've won it. The WCW World Championship. And let me tell you this Mean Gene, I've been there and I'm going at it again."

He clears his throat and talks again.

"Mean Gene, the WCW World Championship is mine. Its not Goldberg's and it sure not as hell its Sting's. I should be holding that gold. And I'll get my shot sometime. But last Monday, that was just the mark. The mark of Sting's last days with that title. Because I'll take it away. And when I do, oh when I do, everyone will fear me."

DDP leaves a smile on his face before leaving.

"Well ladies and gentlemen, that's Diamond Dallas Page right there. Back to you."

We go back on the announcer's table and Dusty starts talking once more. "Man. I'm sure that DDP has got himself into a lot of heat with the champion."

"Don't forget Goldberg as well."

Jamie Knoble vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.

Result: Rey Mysterio Jr. def. Jamie Knoble

Robert’s Notes: This came to be a squash match. With Mysterio giving Jamie Noble a good seven minute match with the rookie named Jamie Knoble, he gave him some tips on being a cruiserweight through that match. Mysterio looked really good out there and he wasn’t selfish enough to share some of the glory with Jamie Knoble. The rookie shows signs of some good technical wrestling coming along with his high flying skills and that left Mysterio’s skills hanging. But although the rookie shows promise, the veteran ends up with a win.

<a href="

Backstage, we see Kevin Nash and Scott Hall walking but that is not until they collapsed with WCW World Champion Sting and "Total Package" Lex Luger. Both men takes a step back but Hall started opening his mouth.

"Well would you look at this man. Its Sting and Lex Luger."

"Hey Scott, I bet these guys think they are the most dominant wrestlers here in this company don't ya guys?" Kevin says with ****iness.

"And what happened with you two? Back to invading WCW?" Sting exclaims.

"You better your mouth." Scott warns Sting.

"Let me tell you this Scott, WCW didn't you two to set the nWo. But if it wasn't for Bischoff, you two wouldn't even be here. If it wasn't for Hogan, you two wouldn't be here. Now you understand what I'm saying?" Sting says in front of their faces.

Kevin and Scott gets out of their way, letting the champion and his friend pass. As they walk, Kevin whispers something to Scott. "He needs to go to hell."

We go back to Dusty and Larry.

"Holy molly." Dusty says. "Good thing he didn't here that."

"He's right though. Sting needs to calm down." exclaims Zbyszko.

Result: Bill Goldberg def. Hugh Morrus

Robert's Notes: Awwwhhhh poor Hugh Morrus. He really tried his best he really did. With a new inspiration from Disco Inferno, he brought a set of headphones to the ring and as he walked down on the ramp, he was dancing to the music. But sadly the match didn't end the way that he wanted. And this is how it ended: When Hugh got Goldberg down, he was going to the top rope and executes a moonsault. But sadly that moonsault of his was a perfect failure when Goldberg caught him on the air and gave him the Jackhammer for the three count. Dusty and Larry comments on his epic moonsault failure.

After the match, Goldberg is handed a mic. "STING, DDP, LUGER, YOU ARE ALLLLLL NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Backstage, we see the Filthy Animals on their locker door. We see the unmasked Rey Mysterio looking like a little kid even though he definitely looks like a pro wrestlers and we see Torrie Wilson and Kidman trying to flirt to each other. Konnan, reading a contract to his fellow friends.

"What the hell is this?" Konnan says.

"Well what the hell is it?" demanded Eddy.

"What the hell man? It says here that in the next four weeks, will be going against each other to see who is the filthiest of them all!!! What the hell is WCW trying to pull?"

"¿Es usted serio? ¿Es usted serio? They can't do this to us!!!" says Eddy in front of Konnan's face.

"Ese, if they like or not, we won't be doing this pedazo de mierda and no one is going to stop us."

"The management here is stupid ya know." Torrie says.

"You maybe right Torrie." Konnan says.

Eddy says one more thing. "Idiotas!!"

Result: Scott Hall def. Juventud Guerrera

Robert's Notes: There isn't a question to ask here. If you wanted Scott Hall to lose to Juventud Guerrera, that would mean that you have to tie him up into a tree, beat the hell out of him, convince him to pull out better promos and get him to stop drinking!!!! I mean it. However even though unmasked, Guerrera showed his lucha skills by outperforming Scott Hall. Even though Scott is one of our top caliber wrestlers, he's getting back down because of his demons. But so what if Guerrera outperformed Hall?? The fans hated the win of Hall because he wasn't even trying to impress the fans anymore. The match itself wasn't disappointing but the performance of Hall was.

Backstage, we see Chris Benoit warming up and walking backstage, heading to the ring before we hit a commercial break.

Result: Chris Benoit def. Lord Steven Regal

Robert's Notes: This match overshadowed this match and probably one of the classic Thunder matches in such a period of long time. Even though it the pyschology of the match itself wasn't up to standards, both men showed one hell of a fight.

A classic technical wrestling match, Steven Regal started the match out but Chris Benoit's time came along and he was shining in gold with the submission lock holds and he wasn't letting Regal escape any of them. Instead, Steven Regal had to break those holds and if you thought that this wasn't just another wrestle crap, well it wasn't. It was real wrestling and the intensity that these men showed the crowd how hard their jobs could be. Five minutes into the match, Chris Benoit was able to give Regal a bunch of suplexes and gave damage to the back of Regal.

Reaching to the climatic point of the match, Benoit starts to lock up a sharpshooter. The fans are cheering as they are seeing Benoit lock it up. Once he got it locked, Regal could already feel the pressure. However though, he reached the ropes, causing Benoit to let go. Regal plans of a strategy to end this match and he started countering Benoit's german suplex attempts and then nails the Exploder Suplex. Regal can do this. He covers Benoit. He's going for a three count but sadly his opponent kicked out on two and a half. Regal, looking mad locks Benoit in a Regal Stretch, another of his finishing moves. Benoit counters though and locks up his own submission maneuver, the Crippler Crossface. He's got it locked in!!! Steven Regal is about to tap and he did!!!!!! What a contest as Chris Benoit wins a tough nails main event of WCW Thunder.

After the match, we see Chris Benoit celebrating, going all out posing for the fans. Steven Regal got up and just left the ring like a loser. That's not until...

Jeff Jarrett came out and entered the ring with an acoustic guitar. And once he locked in his target, there he hits Benoit on the head with that acoustic guitar, making it go through his head.

"I can't believe what we are witnessing. Jeff Jarrett just gave Benoit a dose of that guitar shot right there." Larry Zbysko says.

"This is for tonight everyone." Dusty says. He continues: "See you here on WCW Thunder next week. I'm Dusty Rhodes and this is Larry Zbyzko. So long and good night."

We see Jeff Jarrett pity the grounded body of Chris Benoit as our show comes to an end.

*Shane Douglas comes out of the ring as some of the fans of hardcore gives him a standing ovation.

*He comes out with a mic and tells to everyone that a new "Revolution" will come to WCW.

*Ditching the Revolution that he had used to form with Saturn, Malenko, and Benoit, what could the 'Franchise' have in store for the WCW fans out there???

*Some what a squash mach, a wrestler debuts with a gimmick thinking that he is a shark.

*This Shark Boy persona connected with the fans somehow.

*But Jeff Jarrett wasn't impressed who he was against and just showed domination.

*After a mark of five minutes time, Jeff Jarrett was able to hit the Stroke and got the three count.

*Backstage, Gene Okerlund is inside the locker room of Scott Steiner.

*As we see, Scott Steiner is getting ready for a match

*Okerlund asks the questions most significantly how he could take away the US title belt of Sid Vicious.

*Steiner tells Okerlund that he could because he is as tough as nails.

*Steiner leave his locker room to approach the ring.

*Scott Steiner looked good out there tonight in front of his opponent.

*Solid in ring brawling action as the two men showed that they are tough.

*Scott Steiner gives Bigelow an Elbow drop.

*Bigelow comes back on the match and hits a diving headbutt.

*That didn't stop Steiner to push himself to win.

*Bigelow hits another diving headbutt.

*But Steiner moved as Bigelow went for one last diving headbutt and locks up the Steiner Recliner.

*Bigelow taps, giving Steiner the win.

*Now Gene Okerlund is with WCW US Champion, Sid Vicious.

*Vicious opens up his mind and talks freely.

*Gene asks if Steiner could beat him

*Vicious answers no.

*Gene continues to ask more questions.

*Vicious goes crazy and speaks various words in a angry feeling.

*And now Sid is about to leave the building.

*A clash of styles.

*Chavo Guerrero goes wild with mixing technical and high flying wrestling.

*Rick Steiner cannot keep up with Guerrero.

*Steiner tries to take down the quick luchador.

*Chavo hits a couple of dropkick.

*Rick Steiner hits a Steiner Driver though.

*Three count for Steiner and he wins the match.

*The Stuff is in control.

*Disco Inferno tries to dominate The Stuff but he gets dominated by his opponent.

* A quick match, Buff was able to a Buff Blockbuster and get the win.

*A video package showcasing the talent of the Harlem Heat.

*We see both men win the WCW Tag Team champion numerous times.

*We see Booker T and Stevie Ray hitting several tag team moves.

*We see the recent win of titles over The Outsiders

*A proper ending is shown with the tag team holding gold.

*Even though they were two of them, Bill Goldberg showed no fear.

*Lenny Lane went for some amazing high flying moves.

*Lodi skills were pretty average.

*But Bill Goldberg hits a spear on both men.

*Goldberg sets up Lodi for a Jackhammer and nails him.

*Lane interfered the three count win for Goldberg when he pulled Goldberg's foot.

*Lenny suffered the same fate Lodi did.

*JACKHAMMER!! And the three count is heard all around the arena.

*Yet again another amazing technical wrestling main event.

*Curt Hennig shows that he is the perfect competitor.

*Yet again, so many holds we are seeing from Dean Malenko.

*Two second generation superstars at their peak.

*Curt Hennig executes a failed Hennig Plex.

*Malenko locks up a Texas Cloverleaf.

*Hennig is not tapping out.

*Malenko goes for a Super Gutbuster

*Hennig counters the move and hits the Hennig Plex.

*Curt Hennig gets the three count and wins the match

*That ends a great main event and as well a good show.

With a look at last week, we saw the predators hunt their prey when Bill Goldberg and Diamond Dallas Page both posed a threat to the WCW World Championship that Sting is holding. We get to hear from the champion and what could be the situation in the upcoming weeks.

On the opening competition of the night, the luchador named Silver King will be taking on a Perry Saturn in a one on one action. With the clash of wrestling styles in WCW, will both men show that they are sensational when it comes to fighting?

Jim Duggan will be in action tonight as well against Chris Kanyon. "Who Betta Than Kanyon" everyone had said as they are high on this young and impressive wrestler. Will the veteran show new stuff to the younger generation and eventually get away with a win or will Kanyon better his competition?

As well, "The Man Of A 1000 Holds" Dean Malenko will be taking on "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash in a one on one competition. Don't lose hope as Dean Malenko may pose a threat to the big man with the use of his mind. But as well Nash has the head start of winning this match. Don't miss this one!!

Harlem Heat will also be in action as they take on the members of Filthy Animals, Eddy Guerrero and Konnan. With a contract set on them, what effect could set these two guys from losing to the champions? We'll find out.

Scott Steiner will be in action as well as Shane Douglas and Jeff Jarrett in a triple threat match. A match of the ages, these three guys get to show their stuff and impress the crowd. Of course, Jeff Jarrett has probably done a lot mostly noticed act of giving a guitar shot to Chris Benoit. Scott Steiner is starting to pose a threat to Sid Vicious' US Title and last Saturday Night, Shane Douglas mentions a new revolution. In this match. Will questions be asked?

And in the main event, Sting and the "Total Package" Lex Luger will be taking on the team of Bill Goldberg and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Savage gets a chance at Sting again and as well Bill Goldberg could continue to show more threat to Sting. Sting and Luger's chance of winning might not be as high. Reports shows that DDP might show up once more. Will he??

Find out the answers to your questions, don't miss all of this action and more right here on WCW Monday Night Nitro.

Quick Picks:

Silver King vs. Perry Saturn

Jim Duggan vs. Chris Kanyon

"Man of a 1000 Holds" Dean Malenko vs. "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash

Harlem Heat vs. Filthy Animals (Eddy Guerrero & Konnan)

Scott Steiner vs. Shane Douglas vs. Jeff Jarrett

Sting & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Bill Goldberg & "Macho Man" Randy Savage

As Mike Tenay and Tony Schiavone starts as out with the happenings of last week, The WCW World Champion Sting came out with the WCW World belt on his shoulder. He walks down the ramp as his music is heard all around the arena with the Turnertron making it sound so smooth. He enters the ring and grins at the fans that are looking at him. As his music ends, he starts to speak.

"Now let me speak."

The crowd goes wild.

"Alright that was unexpected. But last week here on Nitro, the expected things happened and the unexpected as well happened. So let me recap last week. Here is what happened after my match against Macho Man Randy Savage!!!!"

The video shows the events of last week's Nitro:

"Now I expected that Goldberg will be making his moves last week but I did not expected Diamond Dallas Page to come out there and give Goldberg the Diamond Cutter. Now whether he wants a shot at this title as well or the fact that he wants to get in Goldberg's business. It doesn't matter whether they come for this gold because in the end, there will still be one and only WCW Champion and that is me."

The crowd boos at Sting.

"Look at the odds here. Goldberg, I've seen you come and win the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. I've seen you get up on the rankings and beat Hogan as well. And I've seen you go on without this title right here. DDP, yeah I'm talking about you. You think that your so cool? You think you are one of the toughest men here in WCW? Well you haven't tasted victory yet!!! Your championship win was a fluke and don't even get me started with you being a wrestler in the first place!!!! Because you don't deserve a spot in this world. And there are facts that show that...."

<a href="

http://photobucket.com/images/arn%20anderson" target="_blank"><img src="http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t143/Viper_Ultimatesinner/IWS%20Roster/Arn_Anderson.jpg" border="0" alt="Arn Anderson Pictures, Images and Photos"/></a>

"That's Arn Anderson!!!!" Tony Schiavone says.

"No doubt. What's he doing here?" Tenay follows up Schiavone's comment.

"The Enforcer" comes down the ramp as the famous Horsemen theme is heard from the Turnertron. He comes down to the ring and confronts the champion.

The Enforcer speaks but before he had the chance, Sting interrupted.

"Well, well, well! If it isn't 'The Enforcer' Arn Anderson. Why the are you out here my friend? Its been a long time but what are you doing here on the WCW?"

"First of all I work here." the crowd cheers after Arn says his sentence. "Second of all, I got a letter from the boards of WCW that even though that Eric Bischoff is out, I'll be the temporary representative of WCW board."

"So you are saying that you are here as a guy with the law."

"That's basically it. So let me get started. The board members reviewed both Bill Goldberg's and DDP's actions last week's Nitro, well we have decided that we make a match next week."

"What kind of match?"

"At Halloween Havoc, you have no opponent for that title of yours buddy. And so next week, we are going to have a number one contender match. And its going to be between Bill Goldberg & Diamond Dallas Page!!!!"

The crowd goes wild. Sting grins at the old man. Then now he says something. "Great. Now get out of this ring."

"Not so fast." The Enforcer says as he looks at Sting. "Sting, the boards haven't decided whether to give you a match next week or not. But I got some power as I'm a member of the boards myself. So Wednesday Night at Thunder, you'll be going against the 'Canadian Crippler' himself, Chris Benoit."

The crowd cheers as Sting looked shock. We go to commercial break.

More likely a short 8 minutes match as some technical action and lucha action are seen in this match. Their styles didn't click as much though as Saturn was a pure technician himself and Silver King was a classical luchador. But Saturn showed that he is one of the best wrestlers in the WCW after gaining the win.

Winner: Perry Saturn

In their locker room, we see Harlem Heat getting ready for their match tonight.

"Brotha, ya got this match tonight?" Booker T as he jogs in place.

"We ready everytime man. What'ya talking about?"

"We are running this house week afta week afta week and we just got our butts shown to the door by those Outsider fellas."

"We took care of them and that's how we got the titles. We run this show. Without us, there will be no champions."

"Ya right dawg. Now let's go out there and kick some butt!!!"

"That's the spirit."

It wasn't one of the best matches that there is Nitro had to offer but at least it had some quality in it. Jim Duggan is an all-american, I'll admit and Chris Kanyon, well anyone can't just better him The fans starts "USA" chants as a show of respect for the veteran and Kanyon, well he didn't care. We saw some solid action then yet, we saw some of Chris Kanyon's act improving. As the fans speak for Duggan not to give up, he had the spirit and therefore started to take over the match. But we heard a loud sound of something hitting Duggan as it was none other than a Superkick from Kanyon. Things like that happen and so, the fans of Duggan are disappointed with the loss of their hero and the win of his opponent.

Winner: Chris Kanyon

This time, we go to some disco where we see a very clueless Hugh Morrus with Disco Inferno. Of course we see Inferno dancing but he doesn't help out Morrus. So he comes up to him and speaks with him.

"What the matter big guy? Have some fun?"

"What? Are you kidding? I've lose a lot of matches!! And at Thunder, I just got Jackhammered!!!!"

"Relax about those things!! Ya gotta enjoy the disco man. The music's bomb!!!!!"

"I hate you!!"

"Language there man. Come on. Sometime, the power of the disco will calm your mind, make you dance to the music and shine at the top."

"Darn you. Oh well."

Both men dances at the disco as we move onto the next segment.

More or likely, Dean Malenko was trying to beat Kevin Nash by using a ground and unload strategy. It went well but it didn't go the way he wanted to go to as. Malenko indeed put a lot of pressure on Nash's legs after locking it up with many various submission holds. Nash could barely get up with his legs hurting. When he tried to go for a powerbomb, his legs are giving up on him and Malenko tried to take advantage as he locked up a Texas Cloverleaf. Wow, he's getting some more offence than Kevin Nash did on this match. The fans are cheering but Nash didn't tap out. Instead he reached for the ropes. The referee watches Nash and see if he was to tap out. With the ref distracted, Scott Hall entered the ring out of no where and knocked out Malenko and then left the ring. Nash got up once more and tried to powerbomb Malenko. With a successful one, Kevin quickly finishes the match with the three count.

Winner: "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash

We see Jeff Jarrett on the street walks as he was dress in his own street clothes. He has that pissed off look on his face, making the people want to hate him. However, he starts to talk as he stands on the empty sidewalk.

"Wrestling? What are you talking about? Chris Benoit, last week on Thunder I gave one of those infamous guitar shots courtesy by me, Jeff Jarrett. Now let me tell you something here boy. Let me tell you something here Chris. You talk of wrestling. You speak of wrestling. You respect wrestling. But by your looks, it doesn't seem to me that you don't know wrestling. Buddy, this right here, is an empty sidewalk. An empty road. An empty city. And just like your character, you are empty. You are just like these cold roads lacking contrast. You are lacking those Chris. You probably are one of WCW's best but someone is going to be better than you punk. And that man is none other than me, Jeff Jarrett."

He walks on as he speaks.

"Chris Benoit, you think you are the Canadian Crippler? You haven't crippled me boy. So let's see you cripple me. Double J. Jeff Jarrett. Now choke on that slapnutz!!!!"

We fade to black as we go on another commercial break.

Harlem Heat vs. Filthy Animals (Eddy Guerrero & Konnan)

A good solid match that was hard to look at who will win. Believe it or not, Guerrero and Konnan showed a threat to Harlem Heat as they were on the early domination scene of the match. From Booker's perspective, the Filthy Animals are beating down on his partner Stevie Ray as they give him kicks and bulldogs. When the double team move of Konnan and Guerrero came on, Stevie countered and made the tag to Booker. Of course, Booker T was on a rampage here as he gave them several kicks of his own and even gave Konnan a Harlem Hangover. That didn't end the match though. Eddy Guerrero used his dirty tricks he learned from his country and applied it to cheat on their opponent. Eddy got Booker on the floor and he went for the successful Frog Splash. They thought they would win but Booker kicked out. Konnan came in and tried to help Eddy to take out Booker. But Stevie came in the ring and took care of Konnan, taking him outside the ring with the clothesline. Then he locked his eyes on Guerrero and gave him a powerslam. Booker got up and hits the Scissor's Kick and with a three count pin, Harlem Heat gets the win.

Winners: Harlem Heat

We see Gene Okerlund with "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Bill Goldberg.

"Everyone, I introduce here to you tonight, Bill Goldberg and Macho Man Randy Savage."

"YO MEAN GENE!!!!!!" Randy Savage says. "Let me tell you something here. My man here Bill Goldberg has a got shot with Sting's title. And even though last week, I lost a match against Sting, why would it matter? You see Mean Gene, I've been one of the best performers here in the WCW for a long period of time. And even in the world of professional wrestling, I'm at the level of guys like Hogan and Flair. I'm a legend. And when the legend passes on the torch, I give my trust to you Bill Goldberg."

"I gotta say Randy, thank you. As for YOU Sting, you are the hunter's target. The predator is hungry for another title and I'm going to take that WCW World Championship away from you. And for you DDP, YOU'RE NEXT!!!! You are definitely on my list and I won't stop till I hunt you down ya get it????"

"Well boys, it seems that you two have your things to say to a lot of people."

"Yeah I do Mean Gene." Goldberg says. "And DDP, last week you gave me a Diamond Cutter. But next week, you are gonna suffer!!!"

"OHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

The two wrestlers leave Gene Okerlund as we move onto the next segment.

One hell of a fight right here. A big triple threat action, the fans of WCW loved to see this match once more. The self proclaimed 'Franchise' Shane Douglas dominated early in this match. But if it wasn't for Steiner's rampage that got him going and Douglas getting his momentum halted. However Jeff Jarrett saw this happening and just took advantage. The three men then started to collide and it certainly started to turn into an all out brawl. The announcer's are getting into the match as well. Steiner went for a DDT on Douglas and started to go for a three count. But Jarrett interrupted. Soon as the match ends, Jarrett was outside courtesy of both the 'Franchise' & Steiner. Then Steiner looked the Shane Douglas and gave him a powerslam and made him tap with the Steiner Recliner.

Winner: Scott Steiner

With Scott Steiner celebrating, one man starts running from the ramps and enters the ring.

It was none other than the WCW United States Champion, Sid Vicious. He hits the ring and starts to beat down Scott Steiner like a pulp. He starts stomping him and then got him up with a chokeslam. Sid shouts at his face: "STEINER, YOU JUST MET THE GOLDEN MADMAN!!!!!!!!"

<a href="

Sting & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Bill Goldberg & "Macho Man" Randy Savage

A main event that turned out to be the same concepts as of last week. Tag team matches aren't really the thing for getting a better match grade except for facts that the team has to be one of the best sometimes. But this was main event teams with no experience of teaming together whatsoever. Well except the combo of Luger and Sting but their opponents didn't have the team experience. Sting and Luger communicated well on this match and that gave them advantage. If it wasn't for Goldberg's power, they would have been bigger underdogs than they are now. Bill spears Luger like crazy but he didn't see Sting come along and whip him to the corner and give him a Stinger Splash. Then here we go, Macho Man go for a rescue but he suffered another Stinger Splash. The Stinger sees Goldberg and gives him the Scorpion Death Drop. He goes for the three count and gets it. Giving them a good win.

Winner: Sting & "Total Package" Lex Luger

We hear the famous words from DDP's theme music. "SELF HIGH FIVE!!". Diamond Dallas Page comes out and looks at Sting celebrating. He points at the gold that Sting holds. Then he looks at Goldberg.

"What in the world is DDP doing out here?" Tenay says.

"I don't know Mike but it seems that he's staying on that ramp."

"Whatever he's up to, he's causing some trouble for himself."

"And I thought I created a lot of trouble."

As our show ends, DDP just stand there as Sting and Luger celebrates.
