ECW On Sy Fy 4/20/10

Hype for tonight, featuring a main event of the ECW Champion Shelton Benjamin and Bryan Danielson teaming up to take on Vance Archer and Zack Ryder.

The Unified Tag Team Champions Edge and Christian vs. The Dudebusters(Non Title Match)

Caylen Croft and Trent Baretta are the newest tag team in WWE, the Dudebusters, and the yhave quite a task early, against Edge and Christian. Both men hold their own against Edge and Christian, even gaining an advantage on Christian, double teaming in the ring but eventually Edge makes the hot tag and cleans house, before hitting the Spear on Croft to score the pin.

Winners: Edge and Christian(7:09, C)

Edge and Christian get the win and are immediately jumped from behind by the Hart Dynasty. Edge and Christian fight off the Hart Dynasty as both teams are brawling around the ring, as it is announced that both teams will square off in a Submissions Count Anywhere Match at Extreme Rules for the Unified Tag Team Titles.

***********************Commercial Break*************************

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Vladimir Koslov

Koslov beats on Tatsu at the bell, but Tatsu fights back with a series of high impact, high flying moves. Tatsu hits a springboard dropkick sends Koslov down to the canvas. Koslov catches Yoshi and slams him down, before beating on him. Koslov hammers away at Tatsu and sets him up for a power bomb but Tatsu manages to roll through with a sunset flip to score the pin.

Winner: Yoshi Tatsu(8:01, D+)

Tatsu leaves the ring and leaves Koslov frustrated in the ring. Koslov sure has been having his problems ever since the disbanding of the Ruthless Roundtable.

*********************Commercial Break********************

Lance Cade is backstage, bullying a backstage attendant, when the Hurricane saves the day and challenges Cade to a match on Superstars, to show that his vile actions cannot go unpunished. Cade says that he’s going to knock some sense into the Hurricane and give him a beating that he won’t forget. Regardless, the match between Lance Cade and The Hurricane is on for Superstars.

Bryan Danielson and Shelton Benjamin talk strategy. Danielson says that they are on the same side tonight but he wants an ECW Championship Match against Shelton Benjamin after Extreme Rules should he remain champion. Shelton agrees, saying that he’s looking forward to avenging the last time they had a match, because Danielson beat in him a non title match before Wrestlemania 26. They are ready for their match against Zack Ryder and Vance Archer coming up next.

*****************************Commercial Break***************************

Bryan Danielson and the ECW Champion Shelton Benjamin vs. Vance Archer and Zack Ryder(w/Rosa Mendes)

Both Ryder and Archer attack at the bell but are dispatched rather handily. After an early advantage, Danielson gets cut off in the corner and double teamed for several minutes. Danielson begins fighting out from underneath, pounding Ryder with a series of elbows to the side of the head. Ryder is knocked back but Archer quickly gets an advantage and beats on Danielson some more until Danielson fights out with some elbows to the side of the head. Danielson makes the tag to Shelton Benjamin, who runs wild on both of his opponents. Danielson returns to put Archer to the floor and now Ryder beats on Benjamin but gets caught and hit with the T-Bone Suplex for the pin!

Winners: Shelton Benjamin and Bryan Danielson(9:44, C+)

Shelton Benjamin has pinned the man who will challenge him fro the ECW Championship at Extreme Rules but he pinned him with a move that will be banned this Sunday. No suplexes and no submission holds this Sunday at Extreme Rules. If Shelton breaks the rules, even to put on a headlock, he will be stripped of the ECW Championship and it will be awarded to Zack Ryder. A big test for Shelton at Extreme Rules.

WWE Superstars 4/22/10

Hype for tonight’s main event from Friday Night Smackdown, featuring Drew McIntyre going one on one with Booker T.

Primo Colon and Evan Bourne vs. Jack Swagger and Carlito

Primo and Bourne knock Swagger and Carlito to the floor at the bell, before hitting stereo dives wiping them out. Bourne beats on Carlito for a bit but Swagger takes Bourne out and now Bourne is beaten in the ring two on one for several minutes, until Bourne fights out from underneath of the move and hot tag to made Primo. Primo leaps to the middle of the top rope, wiping Carlito out with a forearm shot and now Primo pounds away at Swagger. Primo hits a tornado DDT on Swagger for a two count, but Carlito breaks up the cover. Bourne enters the ring and hits a running dropkick. Carlito goes to the floor and Bourne dives over the top rope to the arena floor. Primo beats on Swagger and throws him into the ropes. The head is ducked and Swagger drills a forearm right between the shoulder blades and Swagger sets up Primo, before hitting the Gutwrench Power Bomb for the pin.

Winners: Jack Swagger and Carlito(8:02, C+)

We see Swagger raise his hands, as the announcers hype up these four men as four of the top young stars of WWE and they will be looking towards the draft this Monday, on a three hour RAW.

Still to come, our main event from Smackdown, with Drew McIntyre taking on Booker T but up next, ECW shows up on Superstars, as the Hurricane takes on Lance Cade.

**************************Commercial Break**********************

The Hurricane vs. Lance Cade

Cade beats on the Hurricane viciously during this match. The fans are booing but they cheer as the Hurricane fights out, until Cade catches him with a Hotshot before he beats on the Hurricane some more. Cade stomps the face of the Hurricane and into the ropes. Ducked and the Hurricane kicks him in the face, before hitting a spinning leg lariat. The Hurricane hammers away at Cade, before hammering him with a kneelift right in the corner and ten count punches, but Cade counters with a power bomb out of the corner and uses the ropes for leverage to score the pin.

Winner: Lance Cade(9:22, C+)

The Hurricane attacks Cade afterwards but Cade leaves with the win. Once again, Lance Cade scored a cheap win over the Hurricane.

Still to come, Drew McIntyre takes on Booker T but coming up next, highlights from this Monday Night on RAW.

************************Commercial Break**********************

A look at the events between Randy Orton and John Cena this Monday on RAW, leading up to their Last Man Standing Match at Extreme Rules for the WWE Championship where the loser is banished from RAW and both men getting visual ten counts on each other.

We then go to the rundown for the Extreme Rules card. The Unified Tag Team Titles will be on the line in a Submissions Count Anywhere Tag Match when Edge and Christian defend against the Hart Dynasty. The Hart Dynasty are well versed in submission wrestling due to their training in the Dungeon and this will be an uphill battle for the Unified Tag Team Champions. The ECW Championship will be on the line where suplexes and submission holds are banned. If Shelton Benjamin uses these moves, he will be stripped of the title and it will be awarded to Zack Ryder. It is Shelton Benjamin against Zack Ryder for the ECW Championship. Two men who have had their share of encounters over the past couple of weeks will be tethered together with a leather strap when Kofi Kingston collides with Paul Burchill in a Strap Match. One man will be leaving Extreme Rules on a Stretcher, when Rey Mysterio wrestles his first match in over six months against the man who took him out Batista. Falls Count Anywhere Match for the WWE Undisputed Women’s Title, with Beth Phoenix defending against Maryse. Maryse has gotten the better of the Glamazon by crafty tactics but we’ll see how she fares straight up. Ted DiBiase puts his Money in the Bank Briefcase on the line against MVP’s United States Title. If MVP wins, he gets the briefcase but if DiBiase wins, he keeps the briefcase and acquires the United States Title.

Then we have the three main events. Vince McMahon steps up against CM Punk in a Streetfight with huge consequences. Mr. McMahon is out for blood after Punk subverted Stephanie McMahon to his Straight Edge ways and put Triple H on the shelf by taking a sledgehammer to his previously injured quadriceps. If Punk wins, then Vince McMahon much pledge his life to Straight Edge and do what Punk says for ninety days. If Mr. McMahon wins, then Punk must do what the boss says for ninety days and that will start with Punk going out for a few drinks after the match. And neither man can go back on the stipulations, as Punk will be fired if he does and Mr. McMahon will lose his company, his livelihood if he does. Back at Wrestlemania 26, John Morrison climbed the ladder figuratively to become World Heavyweight Champion. Now he must do so literally to keep that belt, as he defends it against the man who he beat, the man who claims he is the best in the world at what he does, Chris Jericho in a Ladder Match at Extreme Rules.

Then the main event, Last Man Standing where one man will be leaving RAW forever. This is the last match ever between John Cena and Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. These two men have had a blood feud that has lasted for nearly three years and it culminates in a Last Man Standing Match. The loser will never be able to step foot on RAW ever again. Orton has a wave of momentum that he’s riding but Cena has vowed that the champ will be here once again. It is put up or shut up as these two men will never have another chance to settle the score.

Coming up next, your main event, Drew McIntyre takes on Booker T.

**************************Commercial Break**************************

Booker T vs. Drew McIntyre

McIntyre beats on Booker T and rams him into the corner hard, before rolling him up and getting a two count. McIntyre continues to stomp Booker’s face, drawing more boos, before throwing him into the ropes, but the head is ducked and Booker hits a kick right to the face, before hitting a Harlem Side Kick taking him down. McIntyre staggers to the floor and Booker hits a baseball slide dropkick to take McIntyre out before Booker throws him in. McIntyre hammers Booker with a forearm across the back of the head as he enters the ring and suplexes him back into the ring. This gets a two count and McIntyre continues to beat on Booker, trying to prove a point. Sleeperhold is applied but Booker fights out with a series of elbows, before shoving McIntyre and hits him with a flying forearm taking him down.

Standing ten count, but Booker T pops back up with a spinaroonie, before bouncing up. A series of chops to McIntyre and takes him down with a with a clothesline. Another clothesline and Booker is really cooking. Kneelift to the midsection and Axe Kick is avoided. McIntyre goes for a boot but it is ducked. Booker grabs McIntyre and goes for the Book End but McIntyre elbows out of the move and belly to belly suplex brings Booker down to the canvas. Booker spasms on the canvas and McIntyre makes the cover. Two count and now McIntyre beats on Booker, before whipping him into the corner. Charging in but Booker gets the foot up to the face and to the second rope. Cradle out of the corner rolls up McIntyre to score the pin.

Winner: Booker T(11:02, B)

Booker has scored the win tonight on Superstars over Drew McIntyre who has really hit the skids ever since his loss to the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 26 and when Mr. McMahon declared him a failure. Booker gets the win tonight and McIntyre is incensed. There might have been a couple of points early that he chose to beat on Booker instead of going for the pin and that cost him.

WWE Smackdown 4/23/10

The Smackdown General Manager Bret Hart is out, to announce a huge blockbuster main event, featuring two of Smackdown’s biggest superstars. On one side of the ring, is the man who will be facing off against Rey Mysterio in a Stretcher Match at Extreme Rules, Batista, and on the other end of the ring, will be the man who will be defending his World Heavyweight Title in a Ladder Match against Chris Jericho, John Morrison in a non title match. While the championship will not be at stake, it is a big chance for Batista to elevate his stock in the company, as we head into Extreme Rules in forty eight hours.

We cut backstage where Josh Mathews has a few words with Kane about the attack that Mike Knox did on him last week. Kane says he knew Knox knew a lot about pain but did not know that Knox welcomed pain. And when Kane gets his hands on Mike Knox, there is going to be pain, lots and lots of pain. Kane switches gears to talking about his opponent tonight, CM Punk. Kane says he’s in a foul mood tonight and he doesn’t care what Punk does in his spare time or doesn’t do. He’s going to destroy Punk because that is what he does. That match is coming up next.

********************Commercial Break**********************

Kane vs. CM Punk

Kane shows his meanness, beating Punk in the corner severely for several moments, until Punk goes to the eyes and beats on Kane with a series of kicks. Punk has Kane right in the corner and hammers away at him with elbows, before hitting a kneelift in a corner and a bulldog right out of the corner. One count but Kane powers out. Punk beats on Kane and jawbreaker, sets up a springboard elbow drop for a two count. Punk goes to the well once too often and gets booted right in the jaw. Kane goes right to work on Punk and sends him into the ropes. Kane hits a side slam on Punk for a two count. Kane beats on Punk some more and gives him a Snake Eyes. Choke Slam is blocked and Punk elbows away at Kane, before leaping onto the shoulders. Frankensteiner blocked and Kane nearly destroys Punk with a massive power bomb! Kane grabs Punk’s legs and launches him over the top rope, to the arena floor but the fans are booing, as Mike Knox is out.

Kane turns his attention to Mike Knox and gets a missile dropkick from a recovering Punk. Punk hits a Tornado DDT but Kane powers out. Punk beats on Kane with elbows right to the side of the head. Kane is staggered and Punk continues to hit a series of chops right to the chest of Kane, before sending him right into the corner. Running dropkick right to the chest of Kane which takes the wind out of him as he is in the ropes. Punk climbs to the second rope and punches away on Kane but Kane shoves him off and gives Kane a clothesline. Another pair of clotheslines and Kane sets up Punk, before hitting him with a suplex! Kane gives the signal for the Choke Slam but Knox is on the apron. Kane chokes away at Knox, but Punk kicks him in the back of the head, before he cradles Kane from behind, pulling the tights to score the pin!

Winner: CM Punk(14:22, B)

Punk gets the win tonight as Knox and Kane brawl to the back, with security coming out to break them up. Punk cuts a promo, talking about his Streetfight with this Sunday and WWE will be cleaned up when he beats Mr. McMahon and the boss is forced to follow the Straight Edge life style and if he doesn’t, he’ll lose his company. Punk seems to be confident but despite Punk being a better competitor than Mr. McMahon is from a technical standpoint, you better believe that the boss will go down swinging and will do everything in his power to beat Punk. It is Vince McMahon against CM Punk in a Streetfight at Extreme Rules, where the loser has to follow the lifestyle of the winner for ninety days.

******************************Commercial Break*****************************

Matt Hardy vs. Chavo Guerrero

Both Chavo and Hardy trade moves at the bell, with Hardy hits the Side Effect for a two count on Chavo. Chavo gains control and beats on Matt, hammering him with a series of forearms right in the face and hangs him in the Tree of Woe, before hitting a pair of dropkicks right in the face. Chavo beats on Matt in the corner and kneelift, before hitting a pair of snap suplexes. Chavo tries to go for the third but Matt counters with the Twist of Fate to score the pin.

Winner: Matt Hardy(5:49, C-)

Matt Hardy gets the win tonight on Smackdown and walks off with the win.

We see Rey Mysterio backstage. Now Rey is going to come out to talk about his Stretcher Match with Batista at Extreme Rules. Coming up next on Smackdown.

***********************Commercial Break******************************

Rey is out to a loud round of cheers, as the first several rows are filled with young members of the WWE Universe dressed as their hero. Rey gets in the microphone, thanking them for their reaction. He talks about how he spent the Christmas holidays on a hospital bed, unable to celebrate it because he suffered a severe injury at the hands of Batista. He spent the first couple of months of 2010 learning how to walk. His doctors were doubtful that he could walk again, let alone compete, but Rey worked hard and was able to walk. And this Sunday, he will step back into the ring against the man who took him out, his former friend, Batista.

Batista makes his way out to interrupt Rey. He welcomes Rey back, saying that he thought that he put Rey out for good. We see a clip at what happened with Survivor Series, with Batista hitting a huge Batista Bomb from the top rope all the way to the arena floor. Batista says Rey might have won that match but only because Batista took pity on him. There will be no pity at Extreme Rules. Batista says he will slowly destroy Rey and break every single bone of his body and crush his spine. Rey won’t be able to blink by the time Batista gets done with him, because he will be so crippled.

Rey cuts Batista off, talking about how he knows now that Batista was not the same man he once was, when he saw the brutality that Batista gave everyone in the ring. Week after week, Rey watched Batista destroy everyone in his path, with no mercy. Rey was inspired to return, to right the wrongs, to slay the monster that Batista is. Batista interrupts and says Rey can’t beat him. John Cena just barely escaped with his career intact at Wrestlemania 26 and he has conquered many mountains. Batista says he’s not going to have any mercy on Rey and Rey will be going out on a Stretcher. Batista demands that Rey beg and maybe Batista will just settle with beating him just enough, instead of ending his career. Batista demands that Rey bow before him, kneel before him and show him the respect. Batista shoves Rey and REY SHOVES BACK, BEFORE PUNCHING AWAY AT BATISTA!

The fans are cheering, as Batista and Rey are trading punches and kicks, but Batista hits a huge lariat to Rey taking him down! The fans boo, as Batista just took out Rey in a snap. Batista picks up Rey and goes to give him the Batista Bomb but Rey counters with a headscissors takeover! Batista bounces up, bellowing but Rey trips him up and 6-1-9 takes him out! Batista rolls to the floor, changing his mind, saying that he has a main event match to focus on and Rey got lucky tonight. Batista says he’s going to destroy Morrison tonight and then Rey this Sunday. Rey beckons Batista to come to the ring but Batista walks out as the Stretcher Match is hyped up for this Sunday.

***************************Commercial Break**************************

The Unified Tag Team Champions Edge and Christian and R-Truth vs. The Hart Dynasty and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler

The heels get battered a bit to start. Christian batters Dolph Ziggler for a bit, sending the WWE Intercontinental Champion into the ropes and hits a leg lariat. Christian hammers away at Ziggler, before beating on him, before hitting a series of forearms and springboard dropkick on Ziggler for a two count. Christian picks up Ziggler and hammers away at him. Tag made R-Truth and hammers away at Ziggler but the head is ducked. Ziggler kicks R-Truth right in the face and a clothesline brings R-Truth down to the canvas. A series of forearms right down across the back of the head and Ziggler hooks R-Truth with a brain buster. The Hart Dynasty and Ziggler beats on R-Truth, taking their turns with a series of double teaming moves, including working over R-Truth’s arm that Ziggler injured eight days ago on Superstars.

R-Truth fights out of an attempted arm lock and knocks Ziggler around. Back elbow is ducked but R-Truth takes Ziggler out with a leaping leg lariat. Race into the corner and tag to David Hart Smith and tag made to Edge, who runs wild, knocking all three heels around the ring. Edge beats on Smith and hammers away at him. Kidd runs in but Christian cuts him off. In comes Ziggler and R-Truth takes him out. Christian hits a high cross body block to Kidd on the floor as R-Truth hits a tope suicida to the floor. Smith beats on Edge from behind and goes for a belly to back suplex but Edge lands on his feet and Smith turns around, hitting a spear. Edge applies the Sharpshooter to Smith! The move is applied and Smith struggles against the hold but has no choice but to tap out.

Winners: Edge, Christian, and R-Truth(14:49, B)

Edge and Christian will defend their Unified Tag Team Titles against the Hart Dynasty in a Submissions Count Anywhere Match at Extreme Rules.

*********************Commercial Break*********************

We cut to a room bathed in red light, where Vince McMahon is sitting in it, with a sadistic smirk on his face and his hair straight, except for two small strands sticking up on either side. He talks about his streetfight against CM Punk this Sunday at Extreme Rules. He talks about how Punk decided to corrupt his daughter but now Punk will be forced to live a lifestyle that he hates the most. Vince holds up several alcoholic drinks, saying that this Sunday, Punk will be forced to not only swallow his pride, but swallow these drinks. He then holds up cigarettes and then some cigars, talking about how Punk will feel a nicotine rush when he has some of this. And Mr. McMahon pulls out a bottle, saying that out of the goodness of his heart, he is going to insist that Punk go to a WWE approved doctor and get himself a prescription for the pain that he is suffering, because after the beating that Mr. McMahon is going to give him, he will have to take prescription painkillers. Mr. McMahon’s face twists into a smirk and invites Punk to come on over to the other side, as the camera pains to the boss’s face, in this creepy red light as we slowly fade out.

**********************Commercial Break************************

A commercial is shown for the draft this Monday, where superstars from RAW, Smackdown, and ECW will be eligible to find new homes. It’s anyone’s ball game.

Out comes Chris Jericho, who is out for commentary for the next match. He cuts a promo about John Morrison, talking about how at Wrestlemania 26, the fans saw Morrison’s one crowing triumph. Tonight, he’s going to be busted back down to where he always should be. Jericho also talks about at the draft, where the World Heavyweight Title will be defended by whoever the champion is against CM Punk and Jericho declares that will be him.

World Heavyweight Champion John Morrison vs. Batista(Non Title Match)

Batista tries to attack Morrison at the bell but Morrison dodges the attacks and beats on Batista with chops, as the announcer’s point out that Morrison does own two previous wins over Batista earlier this year and that has to just be eating away at Batista. Batista hammers away at Morrison and throws him over the top rope. Morrison hangs up and skins the cat, right into a springboard kick right to the ribs. Morrison leaps up and headscissors takedown, followed by a spinning leg lariat taking Batista to the floor. Morrison leaps over the top rope and hits a pescado, wiping out Batista. Morrison beats on Batista and back into the ring. Leapfrog over Batista and Morrison hits a legsweep, before hitting a standing shooting star press for a two count. Morrison beats on Batista some more and backs off the ropes but Batista kicks him in the ribs and mows him down with a huge lariat for a two count.

Batista now beats on Morrison some more and hits a delayed vertical suplex for a two count. A side slam gets another two count and Morrison is beaten down. Batista throws Morrison into the ropes and kneelift right in the corner. Batista beats on Morrison and applies a bearhug, trying to crush the ribs of Morrison but Morrison fights out, before he bounces off the ropes. Twisting forearm smash off the ropes is countered and Batista hits an overhead belly to belly suplex to get a two count. Batista steps back and mows down Morrison with a lariat for another nearfall. Batista continues to beat on Morrison and off of the ropes. Spinebuster brings Morrison down to the canvas for a two count. Batista sets up Morrison but Morrison fights out of the Batista Bomb and sunset flip on Batista for a two count. Morrison leaps off and running somersault neckbreaker gets another two count. Morrison beats on Batista with chops and off the ropes, before leaping to the middle rope, before hitting a twisting leg lariat! Morrison is to the top rope but Jericho is off of the announcer’s table. Flying cross body block takes Jericho out and Morrison enters the ring to get mowed down with a spear, before Batista hits a spinebuster and hits the Batista Bomb for the pin.

Winner: Batista(14:03, B)

Batista get the win, leaving the ring to boos, having pinned the World Heavyweight Champion in this non title match. This Sunday, Batista will take on Rey Mysterio in a Stretcher Match and John Morrison will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Chris Jericho in a Ladder Match. See you then.

Plenty of hype tonight for the big matches at Extreme Rules. Nine matches, all of them under stipulations of some sort. Let’s get down to the ring to kick things right away, with the Unified Tag Team Titles on the line in a Submissions Count Anywhere Match!

Unified Tag Team Title Submissions Count Anywhere Match:

The Hart Dynasty vs. Edge and Christian©

Edge and Christian being brawling with the Hart Dynasty at the bell. Edge throws Kidd to the floor, as Christian works on David Hart Smith in the ring. Edge and Kidd are brawling on the floor, as there are two referees for this match. One on the outside and one on the inside to properly judge any submission and there is a third referee on standby as well. Christian pounds away at Smith and hits a Dragon Screw, before applying a figure four leglock. We could be getting the first submission but Kidd manages to whip Edge into the steps and enter the ring, to pound away on Christian. Christian fights off Kidd and hits a snap mare, right into a dragon sleeper. Again, trying to get the submission victor but Smith breaks it up. Now the Hart Dynasty are beating on Christian but Edge enters the ring to make the save and pitches Kidd. Double team by Edge and Christian, as they take Smith down with a double suplex, before making a wish with his legs. Edge now applies a Boston Crab to Smith as Christian applies a camel clutch. A vicious double submission move but Kidd breaks it up with a springboard dropkick to Edge and Smith powers out.

Smith and Kidd dump Christian and go to work on Edge. Edge is thrown into the corner and Smith chop blocks the previously injured Achilles Tendon, before applying an Achilles Tendon submission hold, working over Edge. Edge is in pain as Smith is cranking on the hold. Kidd is brawling with Christian on the floor but Edge powers out and hits an enzuigiri on Smith! Smith is stunned and Edge begins to beat on Smith, before he hits the Spear on Smith! Smith has been knocked out and Edge now sets up for the Sharpshooter. Same move that he used Smith to tap out to on Smackdown but Kidd breaks up the submission move. Edge takes on Kidd and goes for the Sharpshooter, but Kidd gets to the ropes and scurries to the back. The brawl occurs to the back between Edge and Kidd, as Christian recovers in the ring and begins to beat on Smith. Sharpshooter of his own is attempted but Smith fires back. Smith beats on Christian but Christian comes out of the corner with a kneelift and then hits a swinging bulldog out of the corner. Christian continues to beat on Smith on canvas as Kidd and Edge are brawling in the back but Randy Orton just jumps Edge from behind! The WWE Champion, out of nowhere, attacks Edge and gives him a DDT right on the concrete, before hitting the punt right to the head. Orton turns to Kidd and gives him a nod, as Kidd just returns to the ring.

Meanwhile back in the ring, Christian has a bodyscissored sleeperhold applied! Randy Orton has taken out Edge but the point might be moot as Christian could get the submission. No Kidd is back into the ring but Christian fights Kidd off. Smith is back up and clotheslines Christian! Smith hits a huge belly to back suplex on Christian, as Edge doesn’t appear to be returning anytime soon from getting punted into next week by Randy Orton! Springboard Hart Attack connect to Christian wiping him out! A second Springboard Hart Attack and a third Springboard Hart Attack! Christian has just been destroyed and now Smith has Christian, turning him over into the Sharpshooter as Kidd just stomps Christian’s head! Christian is completely defenseless, especially when Kidd is now blocking the ropes to prevent Christian from reaching them. Another bit of a struggle but Christian has no choice but to tap out.

Winners and New Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty(14:09, B)

The Hart Dynasty for the second time in their career are the Unified Tag Team Champions and they owe it in part to Randy Orton.

We cut backstage, as Randy Orton talks about how that is the beginning of a great night, as Rhodes and DiBiase sit in the lockerroom. Orton says that the Hart Dynasty are now part of Legacy which DiBiase protests, talking about how he wasn’t informed. Orton says that they all have a job to do and the job of both DiBiase and Rhodes is to sit down and pay attention. He talks about how last week, DiBiase’s inability to swing a briefcase took him out and caused him to be embarrassed by John Cena. Orton tells DiBiase to bring the United States Title to Legacy or don’t bother to come back to the locker room. DiBiase leaves, saying that he’s going to do what Orton couldn’t last Monday and pin MVP in the center of the ring.

WWE United States Title Match vs. DiBiase’s Money in the Bank Briefcase:

Ted DiBiase vs. MVP©

MVP runs wild early, knocking DiBiase around the ring but DiBiase uses the crafty ability that he inherited from his father, the Million Dollar Man, to hit an uppercut and then he begins to beat down MVP in the ring. This a huge match, as if DiBiase wins, he gets the United States Title and keeps his Money in the Bank briefcase but if MVP wins, then he acquires that guaranteed title shot that DiBiase has for the next year. DiBiase beats on MVP and hits a slingshot suplex for a two count. DiBiase continues to hammer away on MVP, working the back and hitting a pair of backbreakers! DiBiase then rolls over MVP and begins to stomp the back, before applying a bodyscissors but MVP begins to fight out. DiBiase cuts him off and hits a gutwrench suplex for a two count. A flying kneedrop gets a two count and DiBiase sets up MVP for the Million Dollar Dream. MVP fights out of the hold but DiBiase tries for the Dream Street. MVP counters with a shoulder throat.

DiBiase bounces to his feet and MVP kicks him right in the chest, before hitting a series of elbows to the side of the head. A leaping clothesline takes DiBiase down to the canvas. MVP now winds up and forearms away at the side of DiBiase’s head and into the ropes. A nice powerslam from MVP brings DiBiase down and MVP steps back before giving the signal. Ballin’ Elbow connects and MVP with a cover hooking the leg. Two count and MVP jabs away at DiBiase, before throwing him into the corner. Jumping avalanche in the corner misses and DiBiase hooks MVP from behind, but MVP fights out of the Dream Street and pulls out a German Suplex for a two count. MVP beats on DiBiase and steps back, leaping at him. Caught and Hotshot by DiBiase staggers MVP. DiBiase has MVP and another Dream Street attempt but MVP fights it and kneelift. Playmaker is reversed into the Dream Street for real which gets the pin and the United States Title for DiBiase.

We take a look at the events leading to the ECW Championship Match between Shelton Benjamin and Zack Ryder where suplexes and submission holds are banned. If Shelton uses them, then he will be stripped of the title and Zack Ryder will be your new ECW Champion!

ECW Championship Match with Suplexes and Submission Holds Banned:

Zack Ryder(w/Rosa Mendes) vs. Shelton Benjamin©

Shelton hits some chops at the bell and a pair of armdrags, but he pauses, just remembering not to apply the armbar. Ryder is up and yells “WOO, WOO, WOO!” He could be wasting valuable time with the ECW Champship on the line and goes for the Zack Attack but Shelton fights out of it and hits a Dragon Whip! Cover by Shelton for a two count! Shelton picks up Ryder and continues to hammer away at him. Into the corner and Shelton hits the Stinger Splash, before rolling up Ryder in a small package for a two count. Ryder is stunned and now Shelton beats him. He very nearly hit that counter instinctively that time. Ryder leaps on the shoulders of Shelton, playing to the crowd, before going for a Victory Roll but Shelton sits down and hooks both legs for the pin!

Winner: Shelton Benjamin(9:09, B)

Shelton Benjamin keeps the ECW Championship as Ryder is in shock. There were a couple of times where Ryder might have got the win, had he not been playing to the crowd too much and posturing.
