ECW On Sy Fy 9/14/10

The Specialists are in the ECW General Manager Tiffany's office, who talk about how they want a match with the World's Greatest Tag Team tonight, but Tiffany informs them that the WGTT is on a publicity tour and can't be here tonight. Lawrence Davis says that Benjamin and Haas are ducking them but Tiffany puts them in tag team action tonight, against the ECW Champion Bryan Danielson and the number one contender Vladimir Koslov! Davis protests, saying that he wants a tag team and not two randomly thrown together singles wrestlers. Courtier says that WWE just throws people together on a whim, but they are tag team partners, both in the ring and in life. They travel together, eat together, sleep together, but not with each other, amends Courtier. That's why they will beat the World's Greatest Tag Team when they stop running and will become the Unified Tag Team Champions.

Goldust and Jimmy Wang Yang defeated the Dudebusters when Goldust pinned Caylen Croft with the Powerslam in 11:11 The new team of Goldust and Jimmy Wang Yang got off with an impressive start this week on ECW. Yang was beaten in the corner for a long period, with a false hot tag. The tag was made for real and Goldust ran in, fists of fire, taking everyone out. Goldust connects with a huge Powerslam on Croft for the pin. (C-)

The shadowed figure begins to speak, talking about how for the time for talk is almost done. He will be making his debut next week on ECW and the future will be coming, to revolutionize ECW for the better.

Drew McIntyre pinned Justin Gabriel after reversing a springboard cross body block and putting the feet on the ropes in 12:11 Gabriel beats on McIntyre but McIntyre hangs him up on the top rope and McIntyre beats on Gabriel but Gabriel makes a fired up comeback, with ten count punches in the corner. Gabriel leaps to the middle of the top rope and delivers a cross body, but McIntyre rolls the move over, draping the feet on the ropes for the pin. ©

We see backstage, where Bryan Danielson is stretching but Vladimir Koslov rushes in and kicks him right in the face and gives him a headbutt right in the chest. Both of these men are supposed to be partners later tonight, but Koslov elbows his head in, knocking him unconscious. Danielson is out for the count and obviously the tag team match against the Specialists is off tonight.

Out come the Specialists, who talk about how you can't just slap two singles wrestlers together to make a tag team, because it doesn't work. Out comes Tiffany, who announces that a special alternate team has been found from RAW. The Hurricane and Chris Masters are out, with Courtier protesting that they've been only around for a month and will probably be broken up by next month, so they're not a real tag team.

The Specialists defeated the Hurricane and Chris Masters when Lawerence Davis pinned the Hurricane with a spiked brain buster in 12:22 Masters is double teamed in ths corner for most of the match, the Specialists showing why they are masters of tag team competition. Hot tag to the Hurricane, who runs wild and fights off both men but gets double teamed, with a Spiked Brain Buster for the pin. The Specialists get the win and we fade out, with hype for Koslov and Danielson for the ECW Championship at Night of Champions. (B-)

WWE Smackdown 9/17/10

Cena talks about how he has gone ten months without holding gold but its going to change when he takes down Ted DiBiase. Cena fires up the crowd, but out comes the Fortunate Sons, in Brett DiBiase and Joe Hennig, who announce that their Unified Tag Team Championship shot has been postponed thanks to the face that Mysterio and Bourne were attacked on Monday but that's bad for Cena, as they came for a fight tonight and he's going to get a fight tonight. DiBiase and Hennig attack Cena but Cena manages to fight them out but the World Heavyweight Champion Ted DiBiase runs out and attacks Cena. Three on one but the lights go out and when they come back on, the Undertaker is in the ring and the Undertaker begins to take out all three of the Fortunate Sons. The Undertaker stares them down, as DiBiase grabs the microphone, yelling that he's going to beat Cena this Sunday to keep the championship. And then after that, he'll beat the Undertaker. The announcers talk about how the elder Ted DiBiase was the one that brought the Undertaker into the WWE and now we could see the son defend his World Heavyweight Title against the Undertaker, providing he gets past Cena at Night of Champions.

The Smackdown General Manager puts the Fortunate Sons in a three on two handicap match against the Undertaker and John Cena tonight, but DiBiase's belt is on the line, which doesn't please DiBiase. The entire complexion of Night of Champions could be changed if Undertaker or Cena get the pin tonight in the handicap match.

Kane pinned William Regal with the Choke Slam from Hell in 12:01 Regal used his dastardly tactics to put Kane down but Kane fought back, before Kane throws Regal around and Regal goes for the brass knuckles, but Kane grabs him by the throat and hitting the Choke Slam for the pin. (B)

He talks about how he has had his past with Christian but Jericho is the best at the world at what he does and Christian is nothing but an afterthought. Out comes Christian, who talks about how he has something that Jericho doesn't have and that's championship gold. Jericho goads Christian into putting the Intercontinental Title on the line and the match is on.

Burchill drills Edge with a knee and steps over the top rope, kicking the foot of Edge. Burchill hammers away at the back of the head of Edge and hooking Edge. Burchill dumps Edge over the top rope with a hanging vertical suplex, dropping him right on his bad foot! The fans are booing, this is the same way that Burchill beat Edge on Monday by countout. One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Edge rises to his feet somehow, at the count of nine and a half!

Burchill looks incensed and he grabs Edge, beating on him, before walking over and grabbing a steel chair, before he waffles Edge right in the back of the leg with the chair. Edge is rolled into the ring and now Burchill has the chair and he clips the back of the leg of Edge out from underneath him, before he folds the chair over the ankle of Edge. Unified Women's Title Match:

Beth Phoenix vs. Mia Mancini(w/Maryse)©

Test of strength at the bell, with Beth Phoenix punishing Mancini, bringing her down to her knees and then drilling her with a series of kicks to the midsection. Beth Phoenix throws Mancini into the corner and hits a corner clothesline, before hitting a double underhook suplex and then begins to beat on Mancini, before setting her up. Belly to back suplex brings Mancini down to the canvas and now Beth Phoenix picks up Mancini, beating on her some more, drawing a loud round of cheers and Beth Phoenix has Mancini scooped up for a powerslam but Mancini slips out the back door and hits a forearm to Beth Phoenix as she turns around. Another series of forearms to the Glamazon and now Mancini to the second rope, before she punishes Phoenix with a double axe handle smash. Phoenix is stunned and Mancini goes to the top rope, before leaping off with a clothesline, for a two count. Mancini beats on Beth Phoenix and drills a series of kneelifts, before hitting a Hangman's Noose Neckbreaker for another close nearfall. Mancini then applies a straight jacket submission hold, as Maryse looks on at her charge approvingly. Beth Phoenix begins to power out of the hold, grabbing Mancini's arms and ripping them apart, causing Mancini to cringe in agony.

Beth Phoenix beats on Mancini with punches and throws her into the ropes. Tilt a whirl into a suplex and Beth Phoenix stands, drawing cheers from the fans, before she makes the cover on Mancini hooking the leg. Two count as Maryse screams at her charge in a mixture of French and English and now Beth Phoenix beats on her some more, before putting her on the top rope and Beth Phoenix climbs up, but superplex is blocked and Mancini shoves the Glamazon off, before leaping off the top rope, but a splash misses! Maryse puts her hands on her hair, seeing her meal ticket slipping away. Beth Phoenix beats on Mancini, introducing her face into the buckles ten times, before hoisting her up with a Gorilla Press and dropping her right on her chest hard! Mancini looks dazed and now Beth Phoenix underhooks the arms, before bringing up Mancini, for the Glam Slam! We're going to have a new champion but Maryse dives right into the ring and gives the referee a blatant low blow! The fans are booing as the disqualification rings.

Winner By Disqualification: Beth Phoenix, Mia Mancini is still Undisputed Women's Champion(7:22, C+)

Beth Phoenix goes to get her hands on Maryse but Maryse bails quickly and she turns around, right into a belt shot from Mancini! Mancini just nailed Beth Phoenix right in the face with the championship gold. Rear naked choke is applied and Maryse taunts Phoenix, as Mancini is choking her down to the canvas! Phoenix is out cold and out come the paramedics to check on her. Beth Phoenix had the champion's number, but Maryse blatantly and shamelessly interfered. WWE officials need to find someway to keep her out of the match and interfering, but she's been a deciding factor in many of the champion's matches.

Ted DiBiase sits backstage, before he drapes the World Heavyweight Title over his shoulder, as the other two Fortunate Sons stand by. DiBiase talks about how everyone has written him off, but he's proven time and time again that he's not a fluke champion. He pinned John Cena two nights ago in the center of the ring and lighting will strike twice.

We are backstage, with Triple H right next to CM Punk. Triple H has Punk cornered but Triple H is attacked from behind. A huge lariat takes him out and the camera pans back to reveal Batista, who pulls the sledgehammer from Triple H, before he gives Triple H a vicious shot with it! Triple H goes down and Batista stomps at Triple H, before he tells Punk to remember their agreement and Punk nods, as Batista walks off, with Triple H down from the assault from the Animal.

Ted DiBiase and John Cena, the history between these two men, leading up to the World Heavyweight Championship match.

World Heavyweight Championship Match:

John Cena vs. Ted DiBiase©

The fans are molten for John Cena, at least for the most part but as always, he has his share of critics and a few fans are cheering for DiBiase, who looks smug at that fact, because it rattles Cena just a little bit but he shakes it up. Both men lock up to start this match, trading some basic holds to start out this match but Cena beats on DiBiase and then delivers a pair of hiptosses. DiBiase bounces up into a headlock takedown and Cena works the hold on the mat, proving that he has picked up some technical wrestling skills over the years but DiBiase counters the move, rolling Cena to his back, shoulders down, for a one count. Great ring awareness by Cena as both men lock up again and now Cena has DiBiase on his shoulders. Going for the Attitude Adjustment but DiBiase quickly flips to his feet and turns around, right into a leaping shoulder block! DiBiase is launched backwards and now Cena takes a step back, before hitting a baseball slide dropkick to DiBiase. Cena pulls DiBiase back into the ring. Remember, Cena has to beat DiBiase, DiBiase doesn't have to beat Cena, and it has to be done by pinfall or submission. If DiBiase gets counted out or disqualified, the title stays in his hands. Cena snap mares DiBiase and hits a jumping neck snap.

Cena fires away with stomps, keeping the heat on DiBiase and front facelock applied. A rudimentary but simple tactic of wearing down the champion but DiBiase backs Cena into the corner. Cena hits a kneelift and DiBiase is dazed, before Cena steps back and a running faceplant! DiBiase flops on the mat, like a fish out of water and Cena winds up as DiBiase gets up, before hitting a series of jabs, before a solid haymaker, before grabbing DiBiase and flipping him over the top buckles. DiBiase lands on the apron and Cena with an explosive clothesline knocking him to the floor. Cena steps to the outside and forearms to the face, as the crowd is rabid for John Cena. DiBiase is rolled back into the ring and Cena now goes to the top rope. High risk move on the way and Cena leaps off with a cross body press. DiBiase has been flattened underneath the weight of Cena and another cover hooking the leg. Two count only. Cena picks up DiBiase and throws him into the ropes, no the Irish whip is reversed. Cena comes back off with a leaping forearm but DiBiase catches him. Stun gun brings Cena down across the top rope neck first!

That could change the entire complexion of this match and DiBiase works over the neck of Cena. Remember, two years ago, Cena lost three months of his career due to an injured neck at the hands of Batista and DiBiase zeroes in right at that weakness with a double axe handle, before hitting a swinging neckbreaker. DiBiase makes the cover. Two count only and now DiBiase rolls Cena over. Nice snap suplex and DiBiase now drills a kick right to the back of the head. Mocking, “you can't see me” hand motion, drawing several boos from the crowd, before DiBiase picks him up. Kneelift and DiBiase throws Cena to the floor. DiBiase just stands in the corner calmly. If Cena gets counted out, he keeps the title and that little weasel is going to force a countout, by throwing a half concious Cena to the floor. Cena fights up and makes it back into the ring, only to walk right into a clothesline from DiBiase. DiBiase picks up Cena and yells, “is this your hero?” to several children at ringside, before slapping him a couple of times and now DiBiase beats on Cena some more, before taking him out with a high angle belly to back suplex! DiBiase has another cover but Cena kicks out once again at two. DiBiase grabs Cena and turns him over. DiBiase has the STF on Cena! It would be the ultimate humiliation of DiBiase made John Cena tap out to his own move! Cena struggles and makes it to the ropes. DiBiase has the hold on and the referee puts the full five count on but DiBiase refuses to break! He could get himself disqualified for this and that's what he wants ,so the referee, knowing the importance of a main event championship match, pulls DiBiase off of Cena by the hair, forcing the break. DiBiase yells at the referee and gets rolled up by Cena for a very close nearfall!

DiBiase attacks Cena viciously, drilling him with a series of forearms right to the chest. Cena is launched into the corner chest first and DiBiase hits a kneelift right to the back of Cena. A low blow by DiBiase, which gets him admonished by the referee. DiBiase yells for the referee to disqualify him then and he beats on Cena, gouging the eyes, before hitting a vertical suplex. DiBiase stomps away at Cena and kneedrop right to the chest, before picking up Cena and shows the referee the closed fist, before punching Cena right in the face! The fans are really getting on DiBiase's case and the referee has to letit go, because if he calls for the disqualification tonight, he might be looking for a job on Monday morning, that is if he makes it out of the building alive. DiBiase throttles Cena in the corner and Cena tries to fight back but DiBiase with a very low knee, before hitting him with a vicious DDT drilling Cena down across the top of the head! DiBiase makes the cover but Cena kicks out. DiBiase with a series of very vicious closed fist punches, before he picks up Cena and hooks him. Dream Street connects. That's the move that finished off Cena on Firday night. Cena somehow kicks out at two and nine tenths!

Cena is still alive. That man can take a lot of punishment and now DiBiase beats on Cena some more, before applying the Million Dollar Dream. Shades of his father, the classic version of Ted DiBiase. He's trying to put Cena to sleep and the challenger might be going off into lullaby land. He goes down and the referee checks the arm. The arm comes up and the arm comes down. That's one. The arm comes up and the arm comes down. That's two! The referee pauses, as he lifts the arm up again. It comes up and it drops halfway, before shooting back up. Cena is fighting out of the hold but DiBiase shoves Cena off and snaps off a powerslam, before he goes to the outside. High risk move on the way for DiBiase and he connects with a flying kneedrop! Cover on Cena but Cena rolls the shoulder up! The fans are cheering and DiBiase looks to be about ready to walk but changes his mind and beats on Cena. DiBiase yells that Cena is finished and Cena hoists up DiBiase out of nowhere, and hits the Attitude Adjustment on him! The roof nearly blows off the arena and Cena makes the cover. New champion...No DiBiase kicks out just before three!

Cena can't believe it and now he's trying to muster enough left. He is going to go for the move again but DiBiase drops to his feet and Cena goes right into the referee! Both the referee and Cena clonk heads and now both men are down! The fans are booing as DiBiase goes to the outside, before he grabs the timekeeper and throws him out of the chair, before grabbing the chair! DiBiase enters the ring and clocks Cena with the chair! Come on, not like this, not like this! DiBiase slides the chair to the floor and covers Cena, as the referee crawls over, making the count. Cena just manages to kick out again!

DiBiase looks shocked and now he continues to beat on Cena. Vertical suplex brings Cena down, as the referee is still trying to check the cobwebs. DiBiase now walks over and begins to untie the top turnbuckle pad from the corner, exposing the solid steel underneath. He has dastardly intentions in mind for Cena. DiBiase beats on Cena with a series of forearms and double leg takedown. DiBiase is going to catapult Cena right into the steel buckle, but Cena kicks DiBiase off, causing him to crash into the steel, before taking him down into the STF! The fans explode into cheers, as Cena has the move on DiBiase, dragging him into the center of the ring, without breaking the move! DiBiase has no place to go. He's reaching for the ropes, but he can't quite make it. Cena is pouring all of the power into the hold that he can. DiBiase deflates, before he has no choice but to tap out!

Winner and the New World Heavyweight Champion: John Cena(25:05, A*)

THE CHAMP IS HERE ONCE AGAIN! The fans are cheering and John Cena rolls over, battered, bruised, eyes slightly glazed over. He took everything that DiBiase threw at him and managed to push himself beyond his limits, overcoming the odds and becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. Give Ted DiBiase credit as well, the ex-champion was not willing to give his title up without a fight.

The lights go out.

When the come back on, the Undertaker is in the ring, as John Cena is back to his feet. Both men are staring down each other, as we now know it will be John Cena defending his World Heavyweight Championship inside Hell in a Cell against the Undertaker in two weeks. This is a true clash of titans and the Undertaker just makes a motion around his waist, signifying that the belt will be there, but Cena stares him down, not backing down.

WWE Monday Night RAW 9/20/10

We cut to a press conference, as it is announced that their has been a decision rendered about the situation between Vince McMahon and CM Punk. Based on investigations, it is announced that neither man will be the owner of WWE. Also, Triple H has been released from his contract and then signed to a new one, which has negated his suspension and his first Pay Per View Match back will be a Hell in a Cell Match against Batista on October 3rd at Hell in a Cell. Also, the new RAW General Manager will be announced on October 11th on RAW and it will be big!

Batista comes out to the ring, talking about how he's been promised a World Heavyweight Title shot against either John Cena or the Undertaker after Hell in a Cell, if he beats Triple H. Batista talks about there is one thing certain, without a shadow of a doubt, and that is Triple H has never been able to pin his shoulders to the canvas in a one on one match. In fact, five years ago, Batista and Triple H met in a Hell in a Cell Match and Batista destroyed Triple H, putting him on the shelf for several months. Batista promises that this will be the end of Triple H inside the confines of Hell in a Cell in thirteen days.

Sheamus and Paul Burchill become the number one contenders to the Unified Tag Team Titles when the Hurricane and Chris Masters when Sheamus pinned the Hurricane with a big boot in 7:22 The two large monsters, Burchill and Sheamus score a huge win tonight and as a result, are going to be the next challengers for the Unified Tag Team Champions, challenging Mysterio and Bourne for the belts at Hell in a Cell.(B-)

CM Punk cuts out, talking about how the Big Show beat him last night but his mind was on other things and he suggests that the Big Show should cut that United States Championship belt in half and hand it to Triple H. Punk says that in thirteen days, he will be part of one of the Hell in a Cell Matches against Edge for the WWE Championship. In thirteen days, Punk will grab the missing piece of his dynasty and win the WWE Championship, the only championship belt that he is eligible for that he has yet to win in WWE.

Beth Phoenix pinned Jillian with the Glam Slam in 5:22 The announcers are handed a note during this match, talking about The first ever women's Hell in a Cell Match for the Undisputed Women's Title, with Beth Phoenix taking on Mia Mancini for the gold! In thirteen days, Maryse will be locked out of the ring, as her charge is one on one with Beth Phoenix. Phoenix beats on Jillian but Jillian made a comeback. 450 Splash misses and Beth Phoenix hits the Glam Slam for the pin. (C-)

Maryse is freaking out backstage, yelling that Beth Phoenix blew her title shot last night and she yells at the member of the board of directors, but the representative adds another stipulation. If Beth Phoenix loses this time, she will never get a title shot as long as Mancini is the champion but if Phoenix wins, not only she gets the title, but Maryse gets locked inside the cell alone with Beth Phoenix for five minutes. Maryse looks horrified at this possibility but she starts speaking in French in a panicked manner to Mancini and Mancini appears to reassure her that this is in the bag.

The Big Show pinned David Hart Smith with the Knockout Punch to keep the United States Title in 7:55 Tyson Kidd and Natalya come out early but some interferences prompts the referee to send him to the back. Show and Smith have a pretty good power match, with Smith actually pulling out a huge suplex for a nearfall. Smith goes for a flying axe handle but Show kicks him, before drilling him with a knockout punch to keep the title. (B)

Zack Ryder is out, pushing around the ring crew and Kofi Kingston comes out for their match, setting things up for tonight.

Kofi Kingston pinned Zack Ryder with the Trouble in Paradise in 5:55 Kofi Kingston beats on Zack Ryder throughout this match but Ryder beats on him, taking him down. Ryder hits a huge leg lariat and goes up top but Kofi dropkicks him, before hitting the Trouble in Paradise for the pin. (B-)

Out comes Randy Orton, who talks about how people on RAW have been disrespecting him as of late, putting him with subpar competition. He talks about how he should be the WWE Champion but he was screwed out of the title at Summerslam. He then talks about how he should have been the Unified Tag Team Champions and he would have won them on his own, had he not had Cody Rhodes, that dead weight, tied to his ankle. Now he has a match with R-Truth. Orton talks about how the truth is, he feels that he feels insulted that he's going to keep getting these matches that don't matter. Out comes R-Truth, but Orton just stands and continues to talk in a slow manner, about how RAW would be in the gutter if it was not for him, he ran John Cena off the show, he beat the Rock, he beat Triple H, he beat Shawn Michaels, there is not one person on this show that can beat him and R-Truth catches Orton with a huge jumping leg lariat to the head as he turns around to address another part of the crowd.

R-Truth pinned Randy Orton in 0:03 R-Truth pins Orton and scores the pin, with Orton kicking out at the count of four, but the match is over, R-Truth rolls to the ring and Orton throws a ballistic fit, yelling that he wasn't ready. R-Truth taunts Orton on the outside and he walks to the back. Orton continues to argue with the referee but the match is over and R-Truth is your winner in perhaps the quickest match in the history of Monday Night RAW. (C+)

We see Edge, the WWE Champion, and Triple H, having words. Tonight, they are partners, but they are obviously not getting along, especially when Triple H talks about how he's coming for the WWE Championship after he's done with Batista in Hell in a Cell. Edge invites Triple H to bring it, providing he survives Batista. Coming up next, we see a preview of the two big Hell in a Cell Matches, when Triple H and Edge form an uneasy alliance to take on Batista and CM Punk.

Batista and CM Punk defeated Triple H and WWE Champion Edge when Batista pinned Triple H with a spinebuster in 15:22 Edge was isolated in the ring, beaten two on one but the hot tag was made to Triple H, who began to run wild. Edge and Punk brawled to the back and Triple H goes for a Pedigree but Batista powers out, before hitting a spear and a spinebuster for the pin on Triple H. Batista just showed how easily he can put down Triple H and if he does it again at Hell in a Cell, Batista will get a World Heavyweight Title Shot. (B+)
