WWE Smackdown 10/22/10

John Cena is out at the top of the show. He talks about how in two days, he will be leading Smackdown into Bragging Rights, when he faces CM Punk champion versus champion in the main event. Cena talks about how is going to be all for the marbles but tonight, he is going to prove that he is a fighting champion, by giving Ted DiBiase one last shot at the World Heavyweight Title. He talks about how he'll prove without a shadow of a doubt that he can beat DiBiase in the ring tonight.

Christian pinned Chavo Guerrero with the Killswitch in 8:44 A back and forth encounter, as Christian prepares for his match with Kofi Kingston, as a part of the best of seven series at Bragging Rights. Christian attempts to put Chavo away but Chavo fights him off and goes for the Frog Splash but Christian moves out of the way. Killswitch scores the pin and Christian is ready for this Sunday. (B)

Jack Swagger defeated the Undertaker via countout in 15:55 after Sheamus rammed the Undertaker into the ring post The Undertaker batters Swagger during this match but Swagger fights back. Pump splash misses and Taker beats on Swagger, and Burchill is out but is jumped by Kane. Burchill and Kane brawl and we see Sheamus come out and the Undertaker brawls with him but gets rammed into the post. The Undertaker is taken down for the countout. (B)

After the match, Sheamus and Burchill throw Kane into the ring and double team him. Bicycle Kick takes Kane out. The Undertaker is in the ring and he eats the Bicycle Kick as well, before Burchill drills the knee brace right into the head of the Undertaker multiple times, drawing boos. Burchill and Sheamus against the Brothers of Destruction as part of the Best of Seven at Bragging Rights.

The Unified Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne defeated Matt Hardy with the Air Bourne in 16:22 Matt Hardy was fired up during this match and gained several nearfalls but Bourne really hit some impressive offense. Twist of Fate by Hardy but Bourne drapes his foot on the bottom rope. Hardy gets rolled up for a two count and he beats on Bourne. Second Twist of Fate is blocked and Bourne hits a pele kick, before going up and hitting the Air Bourne for the pin. (B+)

Bourne offers a handshake but Hardy shoves him away and begins punching him on him. Out comes Rey Mysterio to break it up but out come the Specialists from the back. Lawrence Davis chop blocks the leg of Rey while Michael Courtier grabs Matt Hardy and hits a vicous reverse brain buster. Bourne is up and the Specialists leave the ring. Bourne and Rey will defend the Unified Tag Team Titles againt the Specialists this Tuesday on ECW on Sy Fy but this Sunday, they are taking on DeGeneration X in the best of seven series. The Specialists never once attacked Evan Bourne.

Chris Jericho cuts a promo, talking about how he carried the Big Show on his back during their Unified Tag Team Title reign and how he knows the secret of slaying the Giant and he's going to show the entire world. He talks about how he's the WWE Intercontinental Champion but he only has to defend the belt every thirty days, so tonight's match with Booker T is a non title match.

Booker T pinned WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho in a non title with the Axe Kick in 10:55 Jericho's arrogance proved to be his undoing, as he might have had this match won several times but decided not to. Jericho's Code Breaker is blocked and Booker hits the Axe Kick for the pin! (B)

We have a promo by Ted DiBiase, who talks about how he took out Randy Orton on Monday, but he is going to finish the job that he started at Bragging Rights. He's going to become the World Heavyweight Champion tonight and he calls out John Cena, demanding that Cena brings his belt.

John Cena made Ted DiBiase submit to the STF in 15:55 to keep the World Heavyweight Title DiBiase threw everything but the kitchen sink at Cena but it was not enough. Cena locked on the STF and DiBiase had no choice but to submit. Cena and Punk at Bragging Rights champion versus champion and much more in the best of seven series, RAW versus Smackdown. (B)

WWE Bragging Rights 10-24-10

We are backstage where CM Punk and John Cena are rallying the troops on a split screen, getting ready for the action. There is some tension on the RAW side but Smackdown looks to be mostly united for Bragging Rights.

The first match featuring Smackdown's LayCool against RAW's WWE Undisputed Women's Champion Beth Phoenix and Gail Kim. Laycool ran from the beating but they isolated and beat down Gail Kim in the corner two again one. Gail Kim tried to fight back but Laycool beat her down. Layla misses a move in the corner and hot tag to Beth Phoenix, who runs wild and pretty much destroys Laycool, knocking them around the ring. Gail Kim takes Layla to the floor and baseball slides her. Michelle McCool beats on Beth Phoenix but Phoenix fights her off and hits a huge power bomb, before hitting the Glam Slam for the pin in 7:33 (C-, RAW: 1, Smackdown: 0)

The next match was Christian representing Smackdown against Kofi Kingston representing RAW. Both men trade chops but Christian is knocked to the floor and Kofi Kingston leaps to the top rope, before diving right on top of Christian with a springboard cross body block. Kofi pounds away on Christian but Christian kneelifts him in the face and beats on him. Vicious reverse DDT gets a nearfall. Tilt a whirl backbreaker and Kofi blocks a frog splash with the knees. He hits a series of chops, before hitting a springboard forearm smash, before hitting the Boom Drop. Kofi beats on Christian but irish whip is reversed into the corner and Kofi leaps to the top rope, before hitting a backspring cross body block for a nearfall! Kofi beats on Christian and ten count punches in the corner but Christian counters with an inverted atomic drop and goes for the Killswitch but Kofi counters with a German Suplex for a nearfall. Kofi steps up and goes for the Trouble in Paradise but Christian avoids it before hooking the arms and bringing Kofi Kingston down with the Killswtich fro the pin in 11:09 (B, RAW: 1, Smackdown: 1)[/b]

With things tied up, we had a battle of two monster teams with the Undertaker and Kane representing Smackdown against Paul Burchill and Sheamus representing RAW. We see the large druid standing at ringside. Burchill and Sheamus prove to be the dominant team at least in the early going, cutting Kane in the center of the ring. Kane fights off but Sheamus nails him with a Bicycle Kick to keep him down for a nearfall! The fans are going insane is Kane powerslams Sheamus. Tag to Burchill and tag to the Undertaker, who is running wild, beating down both men. Kane returns to the ring and fights off Sheamus but Burchill low blows the Undertaker and leaves the ring, to return with a steel chair, but that hooded creature of the night grabs the chair and pulls it away, staggering Burchill right into a choke slam. Tombstone scores the pin in 10:51 (B+, RAW: 1, Smackdown: 2)

A look at Frankie Kazarian and his crew running over ECW. Goldust and Justin Gabriel are standing up to them and Bryan Danielson is caught in the middle, with his loyalties in question.

The next match was a break from the series of Bragging Rights, with Justin Gabriel and Goldust against Frankie Kazarian and Nick Dinsmore, with Bryan Danielson as the referee. Danielson proves to be a fair referee, in the early going, forcing breaks, although against, Gabriel and Goldust. When he forces Goldust to return to the corner after a tag, this allows Kazarian to enter the ring illegally behind his back for a double team on Gabriel. Gabriel is beaten down in the corner but he begins to fight out of the corner and tag made to Goldust, who runs wild in the ring. Kaval is on the ring apron but he is taken out. Goldust steps over and blocks a shot with the brass knuckles from Dinsmore, before taking them away and clocking Dinsmore and Danielson calls for the disqualification, giving Dinsmore and Kazarian the win in 9:59 ©

We are back in the ring, as Kaval enters the ring and kicks Goldust right in the back of the head and the Specialists are beating Justin Gabriel down on the floor! The fans are cheering, as Matt Hardy rushes down from the back but the masked man takes him out! Wait a minute Matt Hardy is fighting back and he beats on the masked man, before giving him the Twist of Fate! The fans pop huge and he is going to take the mask off but Kazarian jumps Hardy from behind and beats him down, before giving him a Jumping Reverse Russian Legsweep! Bryan Danielson steps forward and gets on the microphone, talking about how the fans wonder where he stood and tonight they'll get their answer...he stands alone. Danielson knocks Kazarian for a loop with an elbow strike! Kazarian has been knocked out and Danielson leaves the ring, before the other members of the group could knock him out. He holds the ECW Championship in the air and steps back. Danielson is a man to himself but they could cost him.

A look at the events of Randy Orton and Ted DiBiase leading up to the next match.

The next match was a battle of Randy Orton and Ted DiBiase in the Best of Seven Series. With Smackdown ahead, Orton had to get the win for RAW and both men exchange a series of chops, before Orton is thrown into the ropes and dropkick takes him down to the canvas. Orton beats on DiBiase, before hammering on the back of his head but DiBiase goes low and hits a Russian Legsweep to get the head. DiBiase beats on Orton for several minutes, an offensive assault that concludes with a gutwrench power bomb, but Orton drapes his foot over the bottom rope. Orton fights out of the Million Dollar Dream and he gives DiBiase a modified backbreaker. Orton beats on DiBiase and sets him up for the RKO but DiBiase shoves him into the ropes and high angle belly to back suplex for a nearfall! DiBiase goes to the top rope and flying elbowdrop misses! Orton goes for the punt but DiBiase avoids it and rolls him up for a nearfall! DiBiase is up and hits a DDT on Orton for a nearfall! He picks up Orton and applies the Million Dollar Dream, going for the Dream Street but Orton lands on his feet and snaps off the RKO...for a two and three fourths count! Orton looks surprised that DiBiase kicks out and now he goes for the punt again but DiBiase rolls to the side and Orton is hunched over, before he rolls up Orton in a small package for a nearfall! DiBiase beats on Orton and kicks him, before putting him on the top rope and connecting with a superplex! Another close nearfall and DiBiase is on his feet and he picks up Orton before throwing him into the ropes. The head is ducked and Orton kicks him right in the face. Attempted piledriver, but DiBiase counters with a high back body drop, but Orton rolls through with a sunset flip for a nearfall! RKO attempt is fought and backslide by DiBiase for a nearfall. Orton gives DiBiase a gutshot and gives him the RKO! Cover but DiBiase puts his foot on the bottom rope! DiBiase rolls slightly and Orton aims for the punt, but decides against it and opts for an Oklahoma Side roll for the pin in 15:58 (B+, RAW: 2, Smackdown: 2)[/b]

Randy Orton steps back, having gotten the win and having earned the win tonight at Bragging Rights. He takes a step back and takes a deep breath. He looks at DiBiase, who might not have won the match but earned a bit of Randy Orton's respect. At least enough not to get kicked in the head on principle. Orton leaves, having tied things up for RAW.

The next match started with Evan Bourne mysteriously missing, forcing one half of the Unified Tag Team Champions Rey Mysterio taking on Triple H and Shawn Michaels of RAW. Rey Mysterio fights off Shawn Michaels, trading some impressive moves with the Heart Break Kid, but he gets his knee taken out for the heat and DX is pretty much destroying Rey two on one, causing Rey to suffer. Triple H applies a figure-four leglock to Rey, as Evan Bourne makes his way out, clutching the side of his neck. The announcers speculate that if Bourne was the masked man, the Twist of Fate that he suffered earlier would account for a neck injury. Rey fights back into the corner and makes the hot tag to Bourne, who runs wild for a little bit, but gets hit with a spinebuster by Triple H. CM Punk comes out to the ramp, to cheer on his fellow RAW wrestlers but Triple H does not appreciate this and runs down to the ramp, to go and attack the WWE Champion, tagging out to Shawn Michaels. Michaels knocks Rey off the apron and begins to cue the band but out comes Frankie Kazarian, who enters the ring, only to eat some Sweet Chin Music! Bourne knees Michaels in the ribs as he turns around and then hits a leaping DDT, before going to the outside and connecting with the Air Bourne! Triple H is being attacked by the Specialists, Kaval, and Nick Dinsmore on the ramp, as Punk looks on, holding his chin and Michaels is pinned in the ring by Bourne in 13:22 (B+, RAW: 2, Smackdown: 3)

We see Triple H stomped into the ramp as the entire group goes to the ring and congratulates Bourne on his victory briefly, before they carry Kazarian to the back, with Punk following as paramedics check on Triple H.

With Smackdown ahead once again, the Big Show goes in for RAW as the United States Champion to take on the WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho from Smackdown. Jericho did an admirable job, ducking and running from the Big Show's offense, before Show takes control, hitting him with a series of forearm smashes and boots him right in the corner. He chokes Jericho in the corner, drawing cheers, and Show throws him into the opposite corner. Running back avalanche is avoided and Jericho dropkicks the Big Show in the leg, taking control, in an attempt to chop the giant down by working over his legs. Jericho blisters the chest of Show with chops and springboard dropkick and a Lionsault gets a two count. Walls of Jericho attempt but the Big Show is too massive. Jericho hits elbow strikes to the back of the head and climbs to the second rope but leaps off, right into the clutches of the Big Show. Choke Slam is blocked when Jericho goes low and he hits the Code Breaker for a nearfall! He beats on the Big Show some more and goes for a second Code Breaker, but Show blocks it and thunderous punch to the gut knocks the wind out of Jericho, before the huge massive fist of the Big Show to Jericho's face knocks Jericho out completely. Show covers Jericho to score the pin in 13:25 (B, RAW: 3, Smackdown: 3)[/b]

We are now tied up. It is down to two men, the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena from Smackdown and the WWE Champion CM Punk. We see the trophy being rolled out, but that is not all. The team who wins the series will have their championship defended in the main event of Wrestlemania by default. The Royal Rumble winner can elect to challenge for the championship of their choice still but it may not be in the main event if they choose to go for the other championship.

Now its CM Punk and John Cena in the ring for all of the marbles. Both men trade punches and kicks to start out this match, but also some wrestling on the mat, which Punk wins, to the approval of the very vocal anti-Cena portion of the WWE Universe. The fans are a bit more against Cena tonight then usual, although as much last month when Cena fought the Undertaker and Punk has his supporters, his devoted Straight Edge followers, as he beats on Cena in the corner with elbows, as the fans are chanting “LET'S GO CENA!” but are drowned out by louder chants of “CM PUNK!” as both men trade chops in the corner and it appears to be about 60-40 to Punk although the Cena supporters are determined but Punk drills Cena with a kick to the face and running kneelift, and bulldog out of the corner. Over the past five years, John Cena has had quite the polarizing reaction from the WWE Universe but it seems like as of late, its slowly getting to him bit by bit and Punk gains a nearfall with a double underhook backbreaker, before he mocks Cena with a “you can't see me”. You can hear a slight round of boos but cheers, as Punk hits a series of elbows, before he continues to beat on Cena but Cena fights back. Powerslam on Punk and Cena goes to the top rope but Punk catches him with a kick to the ribs coming off and a Northern Lights Suplex gets a two count. Anaconda Vice is attempted but Cena is in the ropes. Punk beats on Cena some more and sleeperhold applied but Cena rams Punk into the corner.

Cena to the second rope and ten count punches but Punk drops down, drilling the chest of Cena on the corner. Punk drills Cena with kicks to the back and into the ropes. Spin kick to Cena and Punk now goes to the outside, before connecting with a springboard splash to Cena for a two count! Punk beats on Cena with more elbows and a rolling elbow smash brings Cena down for a nearfall! Punk drops a leg on Cena and goes for the GTS but Cena drops on his feet and has Punk on his shoulders and attempted Attitude Adjustment but Punk has a counter and armdrags Cena down. Cena is back up to his feet and Punk hits a snap up kick, before setting up Cena and GTS brings Cena down! Punk covers Cena hooking the leg but Cena kicks out! The fans are going absolutely ballistic but for different reasons. Punk is going to the top rope and he hits a springboard cross body block on Cena for another nearfall! Punk beats on Cena and into the corner. Elbow is avoided and Punk staggers right into the STF! Cena has the STF applied on Punk and Punk is struggling in the hold. Punk is screaming in agony, and he reaches for the ropes and makes it just in time! Punk has escaped the STF and the Punk legion is on their feet, but their hopes are quickly dashed when Cena pulls Punk up and gives him the Attitude Adjustment for the pin in 20:06 (A, RAW: 3, Smackdown: 4)[/b]

Smackdown wins Bragging Rights and Cena has the win! Cena celebrates, as a few wrestlers come from the back, like Cryme Tyme, Primo Colon, Christian, Rey Mysterio, and Matt Hardy, to celebrate with Cena. Matt Striker and Todd Grisham also enter the ring but the fans are suddenly making some noise, as a large man with a hooded sweatshirt enters the ring and snatches the Bragging Rights Trophy from the referee and breaks it right over Cena's head! The jubilant atmosphere in the ring goes to a complete hush as it's Batista! Batista is beating up Cena, smashing the trophy over his back until it is damaged beyond repair, as the Smackdown roster finally turns around and backs off Batista, but the damage has been done. Batista hasn't been seen since Hell in a Cell but he has made a statement and ruined the Smackdown party tonight. Batista wants one thing and that's the World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE Monday Night RAW 10/25/10

We a recap from last night, where Smackdown triumphed in the Best of Seven Series, to win Bragging Rights for the second year in a row.

Out comes Triple H to the ring and he enters the ring, grabbing a chair and setting it in the middle of the ring, before also having his trusty sledgehammer, and a microphone. He talks about how last night, CM Punk set him up and tried to take him out, as we see clips of the beating last night, where Triple H is ambushed in the ramp by The Specialists, Kaval, Frankie Kazarian, and Nick Dinsmore. Triple H sits in the ring and talks about how two weeks ago, CM Punk managed to escape with his title twice, but Triple H says tonight he wants the title shot that he earned at Hell in a Cell, in a fair match. He's not leaving this right, no matches are going to take place, until he gets CM Punk for the WWE Championship. Triple H is holding RAW hostage and he sits in the ring. Two security guards enter the ring but Triple H lifts up the sledgehammer, and they back off slightly. Triple H remains in the ring, with an ugly scowl on his face.

After the break, we are back and Rene Dupree comes out for the first scheduled match against R-Truth but Triple H remains in the ring. Dupree enters the ring and demands that Triple H leaves but Triple H gives him a gutshot with the Sledgehammer, before waffling him in the face with the handle and throwing his battered body to the floor. Out comes more security, but Triple H just continues to refuse to leave until he gets his WWE Championship with CM Punk. Out comes the Hart Dynasty from the back and they try to attack Triple H, but they get disposed with sledgehammer shots and security is backed off when Triple H threatens them with the sledgehammer. Out comes Shawn Michaels, to try and talk some sense into Triple H but Triple H just refuses to budge so Shawn Michaels just shrugs and returns to the back. Security tries to plead with Triple H but none of them are willing to do something, because Triple H has that sledgehammer in hand.

A second commercial break and finally Kevin Nash is out. Nash states that he talked with the Board of Directors and they have stated quite firmly that Triple H isn't going to be the number one contender, because he already had his title shot and he has to get to the back of them. Triple H yells that they have no RAW and Nash says that they will fire Triple H but Nash pulled some strings and called in some favors, so Triple H gets a title shot...one final title shot tonight against CM Punk. This is Triple H's last title shot, no matter the circumstances, ever and the Board of Directors only agreed to make this match if it is a straight up match. Triple H says fine, he'll destroy Punk and get the belt back tonight.

Beth Phoenix defeated Katie Lea Burchill via disqualification in 3:22 to keep the Undisputed Women's Championship when Mia Mancini returned and attacked Beth Phoenix Katie Lea Burchill worked the knee of Beth Phoenix but Phoenix came back and Mia Mancini rushed out, having not been seen since Hell in a Cell and she attacks Beth Phoenix for the disqualification. A two on one attack, but suddenly, Gail Kim and Melina run out and make the save. Mancini and Katie Lea Burchill leave the ring. (C-)

Kofi Kingston d. Paul Burchill via disqualification in 3:33 when Sheamus entered the ring Burchill and Kofi Kingston have had their issues in the past and tonight, they have another encounter. Kofi is attacked rather quickly but Sheamus runs in and destroys Kofi Kingston. R-Truth evens the odds and some back and forth between the two tag teams ends in a tag team match being made right after the break. (B)

Sheamus and Paul Burchill defeated R-Truth and Kofi Kingston when Sheamus pinned Kofi Kingston with the Bicycle Kick in 8:09 Both teams fought in this match, with R-Truth being isolated right in the corner. He is pounded two on one but he takes out Burchill with a spinning leg lariat and hot tag to Kofi Kingston who runs wild, taking out both men but he runs into the boot of Sheamus and a Bicycle Kick scores the pin. Sheamus and Paul Burchill have won this match tonight. (B-)

We are backstage, where a limo pulls up and the door is opened and Vince McMahon walks out. We haven't seen Mr. McMahon in months, and he's looking his age, without some of the ****y swagger that he's known for. We'll see what happens as Mr. McMahon is on his way to the ring next!

Out comes Vince McMahon, who cuts a somber promo, talking about how ever since he was sent off to rehab, despite being completely clean and set up by CM Punk, he has had a lot of time to do some soul searching. He talks about how he watched his company being taken over by the Board of Directors, who have their own agenda and will run the company into the ground. Vince McMahon says that he built WWE from the ground up, without him, there would be no Hulk Hogan, no Stone Cold, no Rock, no Triple H, no John Cena, no Randy Orton, or countless others. Vince McMahon says that without him, the WWE Universe would be nothing and it would still be southern rasslin' held in smoke filled pool halls. There would be no Pay Per View, no Wrestlemania, and not even television action adventure entertainment shows like RAW and Smackdown. Vince McMahon says that without him, all of these men and women in this company will be on the streets but there comes a time in a man's life where it has to be the end. He talks about how if he had any regret, he would have left CM Punk to rot on the independent circuit, where the best he could hope for was to compete in the circus down in Orlando with all of the other hasbeens and neverweres down there. Vince McMahon says that he lost the company and there is no longer a McMahon within power, the Board will destroy the company but Vince McMahon says that while he can fight it and get his company, his creation back there isn't fight left in it. Tonight, in front of the entire world, will be the last time you see Vince McMahon on Monday Night Raw. Effective this moment in this very ring, Vince McMahon is announcing his retirement from Sports Entertainment. This is met with a mixed reaction but there are many cheers, as Vince McMahon has created the entertainment Juggernaut we've seen before us today.

The cheers turn to loud angry boos, as Frankie Kazarian walks down the ramp, clapping sarcastically as he walks down to the ring, with the Specialists, Nick Dinsmore, and Kaval. Vince looks like he swallowed something sour and disgusting and yells for security to get these people out of his ring but Kazarian calmly states that this is not Vince McMahon's ring anymore. Kazarian says he agrees with Vince McMahon, if it were not for him, there would be no Sports Entertainment or WWE Universe. There would be professional wrestling and fans. Kazarian states that all of the Sports Entertainers in the world are a blight on the landscape of professional wrestling and he says that if their sins are pretty much damning the entire company, making Vince McMahon the devil. Kazarian says they are going to take things back to the way they should be and they tell Vince to walk away and don't let the door kick him in the ass on the way out. Vince McMahon yells: “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? I'M VINCE MCMAHON, DAMNIT!” Vince McMahon says that if he could, he would fire all five of them in the ring. Kazarian steps back and states: “No, Vince, you're fired! And kicks him right in the groin!

There is no hope for fighting back, as the five rapid dogs are beating Vince McMahon down in the center of the ring! Vince McMahon struggles to fight, but Nick Dinsmore grabs McMahon and gives him a German Suplex. Kaval kicks Vince McMahon right in the head and double stomps his chest, before the Specialists hit a spiked brain buster. Kazarian smacks Vince McMahon around several times and applies a figure-four leglock, a Boston Crab, a cross-face chickenwing, a camel clutch, and a Texas Cloverleaf, all yelling that this is what Vince tried to kill but now its back! Sleeperhold is applied to Vince McMahon, as the other four men continue to take their shots as Vince McMahon. The save beating of the sixty five year old Mr. McMahon is becoming hard to watch and the announcers are begging for anyone to make the save, but no one is. Kazarian takes Vince McMahon to the arena floor and gives him a piledriver right on the exposed concrete! Vince McMahon's head has been driven right into the hard floor and Kazarian gets on the microphone, wishing Vince McMahon the best in his future endeavors and laughing, to boos in the crowd.

Vince McMahon is down on the floor, as paramedics are out, as well as security, well after the beating. We see Triple H out as well, yelling at security, asking why they held him back and going to check on his destroyed father-in-law, who looks to be pretty much crippled. This was a sick, sadistic beating and Vince McMahon is strapped on the backboard and a neckbrace is going on next. This was supposed to be Vince McMahon's moment to say goodbye to the WWE fans and that pack of rabid jackals, lead by that embittered little weasel Kazarian ruined what should have been the capstone of one of the greatest legacies in sports or entertainment. Vince McMahon is lead to an ambulance and we see a few other wrestlers backstage, who look absolutely disgusted and Triple H confronts one of the security guards about holding the locker room back as opposed to stopping the beating. The security guard just says that they were doing what they were told by their bosses.

Josh Mathews is backstage, to give an update. Vince McMahon's arms and legs have not moved since that beating and the entire locker room is in a state of grief right now, but the WWE Champion CM Punk enters the locker room, looking a bit put out, saying that he doesn't want it to happen this way, he might not have seen eye to eye with Vince McMahon, but Kazarian took things too far. Punk says tonight he's going to put the WWE Championship on the line against Triple H and he says that while he doesn't want to do this, he'll know that Vince McMahon would want the show to go on. Punk talks about how he would understand if Triple H wanted to postpone the title match to a later date and swears that he wasn't involved in this in any way, or in the beating that Triple H suffered last night, even though Triple H was the one that attacked him first, when Punk was trying to show team unity for RAW.

Randy Orton pinned Mark Henry with the RKO in 7:08 Mark Henry and Orton have a match, with the announcers trying to get the show back on track. Orton avoided the avalanche and snapped off the RKO for the pin. (B-)

We see Randy Orton call for a microphone and he says that last night, he pinned Ted DiBiase and he talks about how DiBiase earned just a little bit of respect and was allowed to live for the evening, and not get kicked in the head. Orton says that he wants one thing and that's the WWE Championship. He talks about how he was banned for six months but he says that since he's been on a winning streak over the past month or so, he should get that ban lifted and he wants the winner of Triple H and CM Punk down the line.

Out comes CM Punk to defend the WWE Championship against Triple H. Punk gets on the microphone, offering to push back the title shot but Triple H grabs the microphone and says that tonight's going to be his time, for the fourteenth time and Punk just shrugs, before he tells the referee to ring the bell but at the very moment the bell rings, Kazarian, the Specialists, Kaval, and Nick Dinsmore rush into the ring and attack Triple H. Triple H is being beaten down five on one and Punk steps in, before yelling at them, before he suddenly smiles and high fives Kazarian, before he kicks Triple H right in the face hard! The five on beating is now six on one! Triple H is being destroyed in the center of the ring and he's trying to fight out of the corner, but we see Dinsmore having taken the sledgehammer from underneath the ring and he's walking it to the back. Triple H is beaten down.

Triple H is now destroyed in the center of the ring and CM Punk cuts a promo, announcing that the winner of the match, as a result of a disqualification Triple H! Punk congratulates Triple H on getting the quickest win in WWE history, but too bad a title can't change hands on a countout or a disqualification. Punk hits the Pedigree on Triple H and holds up the WWE Championship, saying that this is his, and it will never be Hunter's again! Punk says that his crusade against those who did not follow his values needed man power and the fact was that to rid this company of the poisons, it was to destroy the root and that is Sports Entertainment. The fans are going absolutely nuts as Shawn Michaels runs down to the ring, somehow breaking free of security but he gets clubbed right from behind with a billy club and security forces him back down.

Punk says everything that Triple H worked for, has gone up in smoke. “All of this” states Punk as he points to the WWE logo. “Will never be yours.” “And this,” said Punk as he holds up the WWE Championship. “Will certainly not be yours.” Punk nails Triple H in the head with the WWE Championship Belt as he tries to get up. Punk states the results of the hearing to decide the future of the company was to put the company into the hands of a man that hates Vince McMahon and what wrestling has become as much as he does, but anything that Punk wants he gets and Punk has the power. Punk stands over Triple H as he fade to black and he has two words for Triple H. “Game Over.”
