Olback Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 Are the promotion sizes the same as in the previous versions? I.e PROMOTION SIZE "Local - default. Small - over 10% in one region. Regional - over 30% in one region. Cult - over 53% in two or more regions. National - over 71% in 75% of the regions in the home area, and a minimum of 30% in all of them. International - National at home, plus over 45% in 4 or more foreign regions. Global - International, plus 60% in at least 5 foreign regions. If so just wondering if it is realisticaly possible to get a company outside of USA or Japan to National or above? I.e is it worth starting as one of the Aussie companies? i remeber in previous versions they relaistically could never get very big as the regions were not important enough. In order to be national you need: Australia 93% (High A) UK 87% (High B+) Europe 82% (High B) Canada 77% (Extremely high B-) Japan 77% (Extremely high B-) Mexico 77% (Extremely high B-) USA 77% (Extremely high B-) So in Europe it is still possible to achieve national status but in the UK it starts to be damn near impossible and in Australia it is. Gigas Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 You can always edit the database to your liking. Upping the 75%s to 80%s in UK and the 70 to 80% in Australia makes national possible. They'd be the same as Europe. If I plan on running any feds in those areas, thats what I do anyway. With cult written contracts, Im not sure I even have to edit that now though.
