Board Effort Towards a Fictional Universe...

Would everyone mind pushing the draft up one week? I'll definitely be ready then, but the stat balancing stuff I'm working on right now will take the next three days at least so just to be safe... <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

In theory the biggest promotions will grab these workers & become disproportionately strong over long sims (5+ years), but let's see how things play out before using overness as a correlative factor when it comes to skill distribution across quartiles. As long as the workers with low overness start in the U.s then theoretically by the time they venture out into other regions then the promotions in their home regions should have grown to a large enough to retain them against the prospect of foreign threats.</p>

Lights didn't work, but here's a render I was doing for Hellshock as it stands:

Looks awesome. The camera angle is a little different (should be a little farther out and birds eye/downward) but it meshes perfectly/is really detailed. ^_^

Hope you can do the hat but if not this is looking sweet. Maybe a feather boa if you have one.

The team he is a part of is called "the Redneck Pimpdaddies" ;)

While I'm thinking about it. What day did you have in mind? Since the earliest potential start listed was July 31st. My b-day and wedding Anniversary is this saturday (the 24th).

Maybe Sunday (25th) as I'll be in and out a lot saturday?

Seems with some new, never before seen additions, we have possibly as many as 200 unassigned renders.

Instead of posting them and just making a few passing selections we're going to do something a little different and maybe even fun. ;)

COMING SOON:

THE BOARD EFFORT RENDER DRAFT

Everyone who has characters in the mod or character plans for the mod are invited to sign-up and I will set-up a draft order with myself and Kobe in the last two spots.

The deadline for the sign-ups has been extended to: July 31st, 2010. You can do it in here but I would prefer you notifying me by PM so that I don't overlook you by accident.

The date for the draft is tentatively set to start on: August 7th, 2010 but may be moved back as long as it is held before colleges are back in session.

It will feature NFL style rounds and just for giggles you can trade picks (as long as I get a PM from both trading parties or its visible in a thread).

Number of rounds: TBD after sign-ups are finalized. Tentatively set for 10 rounds.

Guys, my basement flooded and now my cpu isn't recognizing my video card (Damaged in flood). Don't know what's okay and what isn't but right now I can't do anymore renders. :(

I'll post what I have so far that I didn't post already later this weekend, however.

Now might be as good a time as any to try to get Kam in on Logos. At least fed logos anyway since the majority are set in stone.

Do we have one company of each size in the game? I always thought that would be a cool thing to do.

None start out as Global or International so far. But a handful don't take a lot of time to get there under current conditions.

RCW and SAW in my current test run (year 4) are both Global and maintaining that level.

And one other (can't remember which) has hit international.

TBZ has went out of business.

A few others are struggling some.

US-A returned to National

Plenty of Cult-sized feds.

National Wrestling: Outback is now National in Australia.

MPWA & Kokka No maintained their national standing.

(I'm thinking about just mass producing a bunch of generic FA's and then we all can do bios and names and other adjustments.)

I made it so US-A would return to National pretty quickly. That might be something that I will change down the line. I did it because I felt that will their lack of funds it would make it hard for them to stay in business if they did not go National. However, I am not sure if that is the right move to make.
