It needs to be low enough that if they sign with SAW they aren't headlining (upper mid/main event).

Because of the fact that SAW is the only major promotion in the UK atm (maybe that's subject to change based on others contributions, I don't know), they consume any talent that isn't already tied up to a written deal and can work in the UK. I've kept cutting workers overness/skills to compensate but as long as there is more than one promotions worth of superstars in the UK (or any region with only one major promotion for that matter) the promotion will have a game breaking monopoly.

Sooo short version: The two brothers would either need to have some sort of animosity towards SAW, some sort of loyalty to another promotion, be tied up in a written deal somewhere or else be around a C- in overness. Even dropping SAW to cult doesn't work as a deterrent, as they still end up being too strong.

This issue doesn't exist in Japan and Australia because they are continents apart from the rest of the game world (lack of spill over overness effectively keeps them at National). Europe also doesn't have this issue because it has no talent base to speak of. Finally, the USA and Canada seem to cannibalize one another pretty effectively in the short term, although long term EWO is likely to have some game breaking mechanics as well - I haven't checked yet.

Basically though, when designing an area that isn't Australia or Mexico (where you can get away with talent gluts because they are too far away from other regions to become really major players) you have to make sure that you balance the talent to promotion ratio in such a way that a promotion doesn't have access to too many stars.

I'm not really sure where to put Daniel Dillinger. Derek is going to be under written in Enter the Dragon Combat with his Black Dragon III alter-ego (and probably a Main Eventer over there) so his overness will probably be alright, as he would simply be a huge signing for SAW should he ever become available, which is how I had kinda intended it.

If his overness can be toned down to where he isn't instantly signed up to SAW but is still impactful in the UK scene, I could put Daniel as a Main Eventer in UK Lucha, since that one is proving to be a little bit tougher to come up with worker ideas for. How low would you recommend going, specifically?

Just felt like sharing a longstanding family legacy with you all

El Mexicana

http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/6126/elmexicana.jpg

El Mexicana (real name Julio Santana) was the first person to don the El Mexicana mask in 1925. He worked all over Mexico & the US, as well as being the first Mexican luchadore to work regularly in Japan. After competing in singles competition for first half of his career he began teaming with his debuting son Jose (El Mexicana II) in 1948. They continued to team for a further 20 years, with Julio continuing to wrestle past his prime into his early sixties.

However this proved to be his downfall when, due to his dwindling athletic ability, a move went wrong and Julio broke his neck, killing him instantly in front of a 25,000 sell-out crowd in Mexico City in 1969.

Julio's grandson Rudy, head booker of Takamora Lucha Pro in Japan, created the El Mexicana Memorial Trophy in 2005, the 80th anniversary of the lineage's creation.

El Mexicana II

http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/3934/elmexicanaii.jpg

El Mexicana II (real name Jose Santana) was the son of the original El Mexicana and father of Takamora Lucha Pro head booker Rudy Santana (known through the 70s, 80s & 90s as El Hijo del Mexicana). A national lucha libre hero through the 50s and 60s he often teamed with his father as Los Mexicanas, playing the patriotic faces against 'inavading' Americans in Mexico or the 'evil foreigners' in America.

When his father died in the ring in Mexico City in 1969 Jose decided to give the Japanese scene a try, and liked it! He finally moved back to Mexico in 1976 when his estranged son Rudy debuted as El Hijo del Mexicana. They patched things up and worked as a tag team for a while, with Los Mexicanas gaining popularity once more. He retired from active competition in 1984 on his 55th birthday and worked as a play-by-play announcer in Mexico until his sudden passing in 2004 from a heart attack live on PPV aged 75. His son Rudy retired from active competition shortly afterwards.

NB: I'll do a render of his announcer days for the retro version ;)

AKA

Rudy Santana

http://img814.imageshack.us/img814/4333/rudysantana.jpg

Rudy Santana (formerly El Hijo del Mexicana) debuted in the 70s and found massive success as a part of many different tag teams over the years including his father (El Mexicana II). After striking up a friendship with Japanese luchadore Yoshi Takamora in the early 90s the pair went on to be a sucessfull 'odd-couple' tag pairing on both the Japanese and Mexican scenes until Santana retired in 2004 following the death of his father.

The pair decided to open their own promotion with the money they had saved between them over the years but with the lucha market saturated in Mexico they decided to open their promotion in Japan. With the complicated business laws in Japan it was decided to put the entire promotion in Yoshi's name and that he would continue to wrestle as the figurehead of the company, with Santana handling the booking of the promotion. He continues to hold the book, as well as working as a road agent for the company.

And set to debut in late 2010

Nuevo Mexicana

http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/4859/nuevomexicana.jpg

Julio Santana Jr (named after his great grandfather) is a 4th generation luchadore who debuted from the Taka Pro Dojo in 2010. Carrying on the family tradition, Julio took on the El Mexicana mask 'franchise' but updated the mask design for 2010. Although unlike his father and grandfather he has no other Mexicana to team up with and gain experience from he is still certainly one to watch for the future.

Hope you like it folks :D

2-3 years under contract, maybe? By that point the game world will have had an opportunity to form on the strength of the promotions rosters. ^_^

The one above for a luchadore in GLLM and I'll get back later with the name. And the one below for MPWA's "Johnny Angel"

Hey, who originally added November to the database? I did a render for her thinking she was a worker I created and then realized I have no recollection of her as I read the bio. Assigned the render to another person since November is white and she had an asian render assigned to her. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Sorry for the double post but I realised I'm an idiot and didn't post the FULL version of my data (the dojo was in the wrong place, the promotion wirteup wasnt complete and I missed an entire title & lineage).
