Going to concur with the general pleasure at having you back.

German Rage vs. Michael X & Leigh Burton

Named team- plus, Gutmann's pretty good if memory serves

Sifu vs. The Snowman

The Snowman delivers good angles but is a bit useless in the ring, so I'm gonna go with Sifu

Nigel Svensson vs. Kelly Martin

Kelly's brilliant as a tag wrestler but Nige is too good to lose here

Top Contender Match: Jason Dempsey vs. Wade Orson

It ain't Wade Orson, it's Wade Awesome

OMWF Jake's Bar Special King of the Hill Title Match: Bedlam © vs. Gordon Leve

Gordon's good, and a nice guy, but Bedlam's not been champ long enough to lose to someone that nondescript

OMWF Breaking The Law

September 2011

Jake's Bar, Owl Hill, Belgium

--

RG is tending the bar before the start of the Breaking The Law show. Suddenly Svensson, Orson and a few others wrestlers burst in.

Svensson: “Look, we’ve had it with The Snowman.”

Orson: “He’s just thrown our travelling bags all through the backstage area, because he said it was on his spot.”

Svensson: “We think that’s what he meant.”

RG sighs and takes out a bottle of whisky.

RG: “I’ll take care of this.”

Backstage Snowman is still grunting.

Snowman: “Ce a face tu nevoie »

RG : « Look here Snowy, I’ve had it up to here with your attitude. You’re fired! Understand? F – R – I – E – D! After this show, you can pack your bags and don’t come back.”

Snowman: “Ars? Tu Bastard!”

RG: “Yeah yeah. You Are OUT of here!

Snowman: “Tu esti un gluma

RG: “Your mama!

RG walks back to the bar, happy to still be alive. He empties half the bottle in about 10 minutes.

Not a great match by any means and Simon Ice isn’t well liked by the crowd. Sharp gets the duke here.

German Rage defeated Michael X and Leigh Burton in 7:40 when Ralph Grimm defeated Michael X by pinfall with a No Way Out.

German Rage (Ralph Grimm and Irwin Gutmann) make their debut in a solid match against Burton and Michael X. Grimm and debutant Gutmann dominate things and finish off Michael X with their trademark finisher.

Sifu defeated The Snowman in 7:44 by pinfall with a Piledriver.

Sifu absolutely destroyed Snowman here as he was asked to job to Sifu. Snowman didn’t care about the match, hardly selling a move and looking disinterested and angry throughout the match. Sifu hit the Piledriver, took the three count and Snowman just popped up and started walking to the back.

Ho ho! Not so quickly Snowy. Mic time.

RG: “Snowman, you are hereby FIRED from OMWF!

Snowman turns around and spits me in the face. Well, actually it hit my shirt. Hey, everybody loves a shoot interview. Or not?

Either way, The Snowman, OMWF’s first King of the Hill champion is out of the federation.

Nigel Svensson defeated Kelly Martin in 11:39 by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock. During the match we also saw Jason Dempsey run in and attack Svensson, and Lance Martin also attack Svensson.

Svensson overcomes the odds in a good match-up. Svensson dominates Kelly Martin early on but Lance Martin runs in to district the ref. Kelly tries to out-wrestle Svensson but fails. Jason Dempsey runs in and attacks Svensson as well, leading to another brief moment of domination by Martin. Ref Neil Feirn sends away both Dempsey and Lance Martin from ringside. Kelly Martin looks to pounce but Svensson counters with the Hyper Extension Arm Lock and Kelly Martin quickly submits. Nice match.

Top Contender Match: Jason Dempsey defeated Wade Orson in 7:32 by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage. During the match we also had Nigel Svensson run in and attack Dempsey.

A pretty even match, going back and forth with Dempsey hitting Orson with lots of punches and kicks while Orson tried to wrestle his way into the match. Svensson makes a run in to distact Dempsey but gets sent to the back by the ref. Orson looks set to hit the Bounce Back but Dempsey hit a low blow and pinned Orson with the help of the ropes. Nice bout.

OMWF Jake's Bar Special King of the Hill Title Match: Bedlam defeated Gordon Leve in 7:37 by submission with a Mind Strangler. Bedlam makes defence number 2 of his OMWF King of the Hill Title title.

Bedlam dominates his second title defense, easily dominating contender Gordon Leve throughout the match. Leve had a brief moment and hit a 2 count with a small package but Bedlam countered with a big big big Lariat. The Mind Strangler finished off Leve in style as the champ comes off looking strong.

October 2011

Jake's Bar, Owl Hill, Belgium

A cold evening. RG is tending the bar, as usual. There’s quite a bit of a crowd present. The phone rings.

RG: “Jake’s Bar, RG speaking”.

RG hangs up the phone, much to the surprise of Jimmy.

Jimmy: “Wrong number?”

RG: “No. I think it’s the Snowman calling me names again. Not sure…

Jimmy: “Shouldn’t have fired him then.”

RG: “Ah, good riddance.

Jimmy: “And, all ready for this month?”

RG: “So so. I’ve signed a new guy. Russian lad called Antosha Golob. Not sure of what he can do but I’ll give him a try.

Jimmy: “A Russian huh.

RG: “Yeah, why not.

Jimmy: “Guess so…you still have money to run these shows?

RG: “Hmm…

Jimmy: “Guess I’ll buy another beer then.

Jake's Bar, Owl Hill, Belgium

Four hours before the show. RG is tending an eerily quiet bar. His workers have arrived and should be backstage. Jimmy enters the bar.

Jimmy: “Man, it’s quiet here.

RG: “Hmmm…”

Jimmy: “No crazed Romanian guy to wreck the backstage. That’s probably it.

RG: “Hmm….

Jimmy: “What’s wrong?

RG: “Not sure what. Wait a second.

RG runs to the backstage area. He returns in about 2 minutes, shaking his head.

Jimmy: “What? Nobody there?

RG: “They’re playing video games again. This time Dempsey seems to be on the winning side.”

Jimmy: “You’re not going to stop them.

RG: “Shut up, Jimmy.

Dark Match: Gordon Leve defeated Michael X and Mathias Koskinen in 7:58 when Gordon Leve defeated Mathias Koskinen by pinfall with a Double Israeli Suplex.

A pre-show match where Leve easily wins over Michael X and Mathias Koskinen. Koskinen needs a change of gimmick. He’s entertaining but he has grown stale now. Leve picks up the win with his trademark finisher in a not-even-bad match.

Leigh Burton defeated Antosha Golob in 8:21 by submission with a Sleeper Hold

The young Russian makes a very poor debut, doing the job to Leigh Burton. Golob looked nervous and off his game and these two didn’t work well together. Golob almost no-sold a stiff lariat by Burton and had problems keeping the pace. A pretty standard opener, though that was hardly Burton’s fault.

OMWF Triangle Tag Team Title Match: Absolutely Flawless © defeated German Rage and Dutch Domination in 7:52; the order of elimination was German Rage first, and finally Dutch Domination. During the match we also saw Irwin Gutmann turn on de Veuster, and Ralph Grimm do the same to Hardwicke. Absolutely Flawless make defence number 7 of their OMWF Tag Team Titles titles.

The Germans try to make a deal with Dutch Domination to team up with them against the Martins but De Veuster and Hardwicke look at eachother and double-team the Germans. Hardwicke and De Veuster play the face team this match (playing a classic hero role but looking hilarious while doing it as they get beaten most of the time). The Dutch do manage to surprise Grimm and Gutmann, even pinning them, much to the disgust of the Germans. The Martins, instead of being worn out by 2 teams, are fresh at the end game and easily dispatch of the Dutch. Another succesfull title defence for the Martins.

Nigel Svensson defeated Jon Michael Sharp in 6:48 when Jon Michael Sharp was disqualified when Jason Dempsey ran in and attacked Nigel Svensson.

An interesting match where Svensson overpowered and outwrestled Sharp for most of the time. Sharp didn’t really get a lot of offense in and looked in trouble at the end. Jason Dempsey ran in from the back and hit Svensson in the back with a chair, drawing an immediate DQ from ref Feirn. Dempsey gets a few more shots in before leaving the ringside area. Svensson wins but is hurt!

Top Contender Match: Wade Orson defeated Sifu in 7:45 by pinfall with a Bounce Back.

An evenly paced match between the face Orson and the heelish, mysterious Sifu. A back and forth match where Sifu got the control in the start but Orson kept making little rallies. Sifu attempted the Piledriver first but got countered with a small package for 2. Not learning his lesson, he tried it again but Orson hit a backdrop slam and the Bounce Back for the three count!

Bedlam defeated Jason Dempsey in a Cage Classic match in 8:26 by submission with a Mind Strangler. During the match we also had Nigel Svensson distract Dempsey. Bedlam makes defence number 3 of his OMWF King of the Hill Title title.

Dempsey gets his shot at the title match in a Cage match but fails. Bedlam looked in control in a very slow match for most of the time until Dempsey started clawing back with some solid kidney punches and some kicks. Svensson came out to distract Dempsey and that was enough for Bedlam to make a comeback and slap on the Mind Strangler submission. The match was poor though. Bedlam and Dempsey really work badly together, Bedlam not being the wrestler that can sell the punching and kicking from Dempsey well. The match was set up too slow as well so that didn’t go over in a match that was finished under 10 minutes.

Svensson rallies, hitting Dempsey with a wicked chairshot but misses a spear, sending him into the ringpost and busting him open. Dempsey wins!</p><p> </p><p>

</strong></p><p>

A solid main event, even if neither of these two look at home in these hardcore styled environment. Bedlam gets the early advantage, ramming Orson into the pool table and the new slot machine but Orson counters, suplexing Bedlam into a couple of chairs and hitting him with a couple of stiff bar stool shots. Bedlam comes back however, sending Orson face first into the bar and then hitting the Bedlam Bomb onto the concrete for the three count. Champ retains!</p><p> </p><p>

Mathias Koskinen vs. Michael X

Koskinen's a jobber, whilst X has delivered in the ring and deserves a win here

OMWF Tag Team Title Elimination Match: Absolutely Flawless © vs. German Rage

A rematch so soon after the draw throws up all sorts of interesting questions about where this one will go. I'm going to go with another draw here, maybe favouring the heels just slightly

Gorden Leve vs. Antosha Golob

'Cos nobody cares about Golob

Nigel Svensson vs. Sifu

Both guys are good, but I think Svensson has delivered for you more than Sifu has

OMWF Belgian Beer Brawl Bonanza Match for the King of the Hill Title: Bedlam © vs. Wade Orson vs. Jason Dempsey

Whilst Dempsey's always a contender I don't buy him as champion, and Awesome needs something a little extra before he takes the title. So, Bedlam retains tonight

OMWF A New Turning

December 2011

Jake's Bar, Owl Hill, Belgium

--

Two hours before the show. RG is tending the bar and looking at the fans, who are one by one arriving for tonight’s show. Greek road agent Cephalus Nikopolidis walks up to him.

RG: “Hey, Centaki. How’s it going?”

CN: “Boss, it’s Cephalus. And not good. Irwin Gutmann’s not here. How am I supposed to go over the match with him if he’s not here?

RG: “Cenfuli, I’ll try to reach him. Perhaps his boat has sunk or something.

CN: “No, Grimm told me he hitched a ride with him. He’s just not here for the pre-show meeting.”

At that moment, Irwin Gutmann enters Jake’s Bar and starts walking to the back.

RG: “I’ll take care of this, Cenfiliou.

Cephalus Nikopolidis walks backstage, shaking his head and glaring in Gutmann’s direction.

RG: “Hey, Gutmann. Over here.

Gutmann: “Ja?”

RG: “You’re late. This is the last time, next time I’m fining or sacking you. Understood.”

Gutmann: “Sorry, Herr Geerts. I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

RG: “That’s the truth!

Gutmann procedes backstage and RG gloats to himself about a fine piece of management. He thinks.

Dark Match: Dutch Domination defeated Jon Michael Sharp and Simon Ice in 7:57 when Ronny de Veuster defeated Simon Ice by pinfall with a Drop The Dutch Dime.

A poortish dark match where the contestents had problems keeping the match flowing. The Dutch take another win, Simon Ice eating the pinfall when Sharp just walked out of the match.

Mathias Koskinen defeated Michael X in 7:42 by pinfall with a Crucifix Powerbomb.

The crazy Koskinen came to the ring wearing an oversized bra over an old “Led Zeppelin” T-shirt. Michael X took advantage of his antics to get some momentum but the bigger Norwegian overpowered him, hitting him with a lot of hard punches. Koskinen hit the Crucifix Powerbomb for the win in an average opener. Koskinen is slowly improving though.

OMWF Tag Team Title Elimination Match: German Rage defeated Absolutely Flawless © in 8:16; Irwin Gutmann was eliminated first, then Kelly Martin, and finally Lance Martin. German Rage win the OMWF Tag Team Titles titles.

New tag champions! German Rage overcame the odds to win the tag titles after the Flawless Ones got too arrogant. Lance and Kelly Martin hit their finisher on Gutmann out of nowhere after 2 minutes, Grimm coming in too late to break the 3-count. With 2 on 1, things looked easy. Grimm fought hard, but the Martins made clever tags. Just when things looked set to finish, Kelly Martin took the time to pose over Grimm, allowing him to hit a cradle for a three count. Lance Martin was livid, stormed the ring and ran right into a German Suplex for a pin! German Rage become the second team to win the tag titles.

Gordon Leve defeated Antosha Golob in 8:26 by submission with a Double Arm Lock.

Leve and Golob failed to deliver the goods, Golob in particular looking poor once again. A match with no flow or psychology, Leve was the better wrestler and made the match watchable, but no more. Leve hits the Double Arm Lock for the submission win.

Nigel Svensson defeated Sifu in 9:44 by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock

A solid match between these two, ending with former champion Svensson winning by submission. Sifu did okay here but Svensson used his experience. He lured Sifu in attempting the Piledriver, only to counter it with a slick roll-through right into the Hyper Extension Arm Lock. Sifu fought for about 30 seconds, but with nowhere to go but a broken arm, he tapped out!

OMWF Belgian Beer Brawl Bonanza for the King of the Hill Title Match: Bedlam defeated Wade Orson and Jason Dempsey in 9:25 when Bedlam defeated Wade Orson by submission with a Mind Strangler. During the match we also had Nigel Svensson run in and attack Dempsey. Bedlam makes defence number 5 of his OMWF King of the Hill Title title

A nice brawl with the champ coming out strong. Dempsey started off strongly, focussing on Orson to start with but Bedlam then took control of the match. Svensson did a very early run in and whallopped Dempsey with a chair, taking him out of the match. Orson took control and hit a nice bodyslam onto a chair on Bedlam and looked to take the match. Dempsey hit Orson in the back with a chair before Bedlam hit him with a back suplex through a table. This set up a prone Orson to take the Mind Strangler and to pass out. Bedlam retains. Orson remained out for a while and was absolutely livid post-match about losing by submission.

Jake’s Bar, Owl Hill, Belgium

00:10 AM

--

A steaming New Year’s party is going on at Jake’s Bar. Steaming, well, it means about 100 people, residents or not, are pretty drunk and celebrating.

RG is drunkenly tending the bar, barely able to do his work properly. Jimmy runs up to him.

Jimmy: “A vewy vewy happy….2012, RG. May you finally make sum money with that crazy idea of yours.

RG: “I should…. Really.”

Jimmy: “Aargh…never happen!

RG: “Need it. Took another 20.000$ loan out last month.”

Jimmy: “Twenty what now?”

RG: “Never mind, Jimmy. Have a good one!”

Jimmy staggers off somewhere, while RG’s headache of loaning another 20.000, on top of his 50.000$ starting funds take their toll.
