Wrestler restrictions

Recommended Posts

Is there a reason for the inclusion of wrestlers only being able to work in certain areas? Also with restrictions turned on is there a way for a wrestler in say Japan who only has Japan as a work area for that worker to ever work in Mexico or America? Kinda of curious on this as I would think it would be nice to have the ability to sign anyone.

Pretty sure you can turn the restrictions in the database, which will affect new games. Can't recall if it can be done within a game...

The restrictions are there because its realistic. And if memory serves, wrestlers will open up their areas of work if they are unemployed for a significant amount of time.

So I can't approach a guy that is working for GCG and negotiate a contract with him if he does not have USA as a work area? I always play default with restrictions on just kinda wondering what the reasoning behind it.

Edit: so National and above can sign anyone? Cool

For current games, if you go to the options section and go to the part where you can enter a code worldmarket will make everyone available.

The reason behind it is to be realistic as a japanese worker wouldnt travel to Mexico for a local show. One thing to note is that a foreign worker will usually ask you to pay for their relocation if they currently do not work in that area ($25,000)

1. People don't want to work full time for promotions that are based in some parts of the world. The odd tour to Australia as part of TNA might be fine for AJ Styles, but he isn't going to be willing to work for an Australian promotion on a regular basis. Multiply this by everyone and that's why area limitations exist.

2. National+ promotions are capable of signing workers evern if they aren't set to be able to work in the company's home region. It costs more money though. :)

3. You can set restrictions off in the database...

4. Adam released a code so that you can make everyone available everywhere in the game. In the remote assistance use the code "worldmarket"

5. Lists should always be divisible by 5.
