NYCW – Mayhem – Week 2 May 2011

Pre-Show

No pre-show meet and greet this month, instead I decide to get some of the young guys in with some veterans for experience.

Sammy The Shark vs Remmy Honeyman

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Remmy Honeyman defeated Sammy the Shark in 7:36 by pinfall with a Flying Legdrop.

Rating: D-

Old School Principals vs Regular Joe and Roger Monteriro

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Old School Principals defeated Regular Joe and Roger Monteiro in 7:48 when Rick Sanders defeated Regular Joe by submission with a Figure Four Leglock after blatantly cheating.

Jim Force is shown backstage staring at the four sections of the Cage he and Boone will face Steve Flash and Black Hat Bailey in later. “Within the confines of this sadistic prison the blood of many has been spilled…..” Force begins to shake as he grabs the door. “Gas House Gang, you have seen better days……you will see worse!!” He then rips the door from the hinges and drops it as several wrestlers look on with stunned expressions.

Triple D vs Lee Wright

No feeling out period here as the two hated rivals tear into each other. Diamond seizes control early and scores a 2 count with a Thesz press, which brings Honest Frank from the back. As Diamond hoists Wright up for a body slam, Frank grabs his foot and pulls him down giving Wright a near pin after he lands on him. Wright then begins to work on Diamond’s leg, driving home several hard knees and then jumping to the floor and wrapping it around the ring post. Hurling Diamond back into the ring as Frank distracts Michael Bull, Wright grabs a chair and as he mounts the top turnbuckle to drive into Diamonds already battered Leg, Kentucky Bill emerges from the crowd and crotches Wright on the turnbuckle. Diamond takes advantage and hits the Dazzle Driver from the second rope onto the chair to take the victory.

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Dazzling Dave Diamond defeated Lee Wright in 8:18 by pinfall with a Dazzle Driver. During the match we also saw Honest Frank run in and attack Triple D, and Kentucky Bill also attack Wright.

Honest Frank climbs into the ring and Dazzling Dave Diamond squares off against him with the chair used to defeat Wright. Kentucky Bill ecstatic over the win climbs into the ring and grabs his partner from behind to celebrate, only to be laid out by a chair shot from Triple D, who obviously thought it was a member of the Gas House Gang. Stunned, Diamond drops the chair and is set upon by Frank who beats him to the mat as Lee Wright joins in on the fun as Southern Comfort is left down and out.

The New York Doll vs Marv Statler

As surprising as Statler hanging with one the Gas House Gangs young guns, was the fact that none of his stable mates interfered. Statler used magnificent chain wrestling to keep the ****y Doll off balance and send him crashing to the mat, red faced on more than one occasion. Doll showed some decent mat wrestling of his won, but was quick to deliver a poke to the eye or a closed fist at every opportunity. The end came when Doll countered a back drop with a Sunset flip and to ensure he adhered to the modus operandi of the GHG, he grabbed a handful of tights to secure the pin fall.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, The New York Doll defeated Marv Statler in 11:24 by pinfall with a handful of tights.

Handsome Stranger © vs Jared Johnson – NYCW Tri-State Title

This one was heated from the opening bell; with Johnson giving the Handsome one a wrestling lesson and blasting him with a missile dropkick that nearly decapitated him. Persephone got involved quickly and after hesitating several times, Johnson slapped the taste out of her mouth and sent her crashing to the floor. The brief distraction was all Stranger needed to regain control, which resulted in a La Gota that looked to end things. After strutting around the ring, Stranger covered, but Johnson kicked out at two! Stunned, the handsome one was then nailed with a desperation diving clothesline and as he crawled to the corner, Johnson slapped on the Carolina Crossface. Persephone regained her feet just in time to pull Strangers arm over the bottom rope, forcing the break. Enraged, Johnson again went after Persephone, who nailed him in the eyes with hairspray. As he staggered around the ring wiping at his eyes, the Handsome Stranger nailed a Catalan twist to escape with his belt by the smallest of margins.

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Handsome Stranger defeated Jared Johnson in 11:37 by pinfall with a Catalan Twist after Persephone interfered. Handsome Stranger makes defense number 2 of his NYCW Tri-State Regional title.

Honest Frank makes his way to the ring and grabs the microphone ahead of his match with Donnie J. Before he could speak The Stomper appeared and snatched the mic from his hands.

Stomper: “I tell you what…..I don’t like making my presence known, but tonight I have had enough! This company is built on my blood and every drop that I have spilled over the years was spilled for wrestling!! That’s what the Marquee says, that’s what NYCW stands for and by damn, that’s what we will have!! Enough of the sneak attacks, enough of three and four on one beat downs and definitely enough of your sleazy BS rhetoric you crooked sonofabitch! You’re up next against Donnie J and I am going to sit right over there and I swear to god Frank I will not sit through another match where someone interferes or helps someone cheat. We have had two ambushes already tonight and I have seen enough!! So you’re in it alone Frank and if one member of the Gas House Gang so much as sticks his ugly mug out from behind the curtain, I will strip you and Wright of the Tag team Titles!! And, the offending party will be suspended from NYCW for one year!!! That’s the truth, and no matter what you think Honest Frank……Nobodies truth hurts worse than mine!!!” Frank stands stunned as The Stomper joins Stately and Downpour at the announcers table.

Honest Frank vs Bonnie J

Frank is befuddled and wants no part of Donnie J as the bell rings, bailing to the outside every time things start to go south. Frank manages to get a few cheap shots in here and there, away from the watchful eye of The Stomper and starts to go after the right arm of Donnie J, keeping with the GHG style of isolating a body part and wearing it down. Speed soon turns the tables back in Donnie J’s favor and he rattles Frank with a wicked clothesline and running Bulldog. Frank manages a low blow and rolls outside of the ring, lifting the apron in search of something that is obviously missing. Stomper yells Franks name and holds up a black bag, which he dumps on the table to reveal a set of Brass Knuckles. With is bag of tricks discovered, Frank stands shocked and does not see Donnie J come up from behind. Donnie spins Frank around, kicks him to the stomach and nails a Death on Miami Beach on the floor. Frank is limp as Donnie J rolls him back into the ring and gets the easy cover, as the rest of the GHG watch helplessly from the back.

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Donnie J defeated Honest Frank in 13:32 by pinfall with a Death on Miami Beach.

Rayne Man is backstage with Terry Twist pleading his case for a shot at the Empire Title.

Rayne Man: “Terry, bro, you know I deserve another shot at the strap and I keep getting pushed to the side. I have Parkers number and you, him and everybody else knows it, what else do I have to do?”

Me: “Rayne Man, didn’t you ever learn growing up that begging reeks of desperation? And do you know what happens to Italian silk if it gets wet? It gets ruined so quit crying on me!!”

Rayne Man: “Terry, all I’m asking for is a chance brother.”

Me: “First off, you are not my brother…..Pathetic does not run in my family. But let nobody say that Terry Twist is not fair. The Empire Title is steeped in tradition and integrity and you need those same qualities, much like Steven Parker has, to hold it. So, before I give you a shot you will show me that you are a man of integrity.”

Rayne Man: “Hey, whatever it takes, you know I play fair.”

Me: “Well good, we can see just how fair you play when referee the main event tonight between Steven Parker and Roger Cage for the Empire Title. You call it down the middle, you earn a shot…..But there is one more thing of course.”

Rayne Man: “You know how I feel about Parker, but for a shot at the belt, I’ll do it. Now what is that, one more thing?”

Me: “You heard the Stomper earlier…..He wants to get to the bottom of these mystery attacks the last two shows. So, you call a fair match AND discover the identity of the mystery attacker of Roger Cage and Jared Johnson and you get you shot.”

Rayne Man: “You got it….It’s a done deal!”

Me: “Ah just one more thing though. I need the identity of the attacker to be revealed next month at the ‘Manhattan Project’ show or the deal is off!” Convinced Rayne cannot find anything out in time for next month’s show, I walk smugly to my office.

Jim Force & Madman Boone vs Steve Flash and Black Hat Bailey – Steel Cage Match

Thanks to Force and his back stage flip, the cage does not have a door, but that does not lessen its impact on the match, or the skull as Boone hits the steel early courtesy of Flash and starts to bleed. Force is enraged and comes to the rescue, grabbing both Flash and Bailey by the neck and ramming each of them simultaneously into all four sides of the cage, leaving both face down and bloodied on the mat. Force celebrates wildly, which allows Bailey to recover his senses and land a fist to the crotch. Boone then swarms Bailey, beating the tar out of the Gas House Gang leader as Flash and Force trade blows in the corner. Force then launches Flash into the opposite corner and charges across the ring as Boone plants Bailey with the Boone and Bust DDT. As Force launches himself at Flash, Steve moves and Force knocks himself silly hitting the steel ring post with his head. Boone covers Bailey and Bull reaches a count of 2 just as Flash lands a kick to Boone’s face breaking up the pin. Flash then quickly covers Boone and throws his legs up over the ropes for leverage as Boone tries vainly to kick out.

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Black Hat Bailey and Steve Flash defeated Jim Force and Madman Boone in a Cage Classic match in 13:44 when Steve Flash defeated Madman Boone by pinfall using the ropes for leverage.

Opening the cover and seeing it belongs to Persephone, Rayne Man quickly thumbs through the pages and stops near one of the last entries, his eyes growing wider as he reads…… ”So the mystery is solved.” Rayne Man places the diary in his bag and quickly exits the room.

Steven Parker has joined Herb Stately in the interview area while he and Persephone wait for Roger Cage, who they are sure, will not show up. “Let’s just get this over with Herbie. Roger Cage showed up in no condition to wrestle tonight, obviously so drunk he fell and hit his head. Now, me, I don’t drink, I don’t chase tail, I just win, which as we all know, is what winners do. Now of course it’s one thing to be a winner and quite another to be what Steven Parker is…….say it with New York…..I AM LEGEND, I AM THE FUTURE!!!”

Steven Parker © vs Roger Cage – NYCW Empire State Title

Parker’s wish is not to be as Cage hits the ring, head bandaged but looking very much in shape to wrestle. Parker casts a dirty glance at Persephone, who shrugs as the bell rings. Cage starts out well, countering Parkers moves as both men go through a slick segment of multiple transitions, finally both ending up on their feet as the crowd cheers. Parker then snaps and resorts to underhanded tactics, choking Cage with the tag rope, and then leaping from the ring apron pulling Cage’s throat down across the top rope. As Parker plays to the crowd, Cage flies through the ropes hitting Parker with a spear as he turns around, leaving both men down on the floor as Rayne Man, playing it fair counts. Both men beat the count, diving into the ring together at 9 and then proceed to exchange punches. Cage soon starts to get the better of it and decks Parker, calling for a Cage Rage, which quickly brings Persephone up onto the ring apron. Special referee Rayne Man acts immediately to remove her, but she plants a huge kiss on him as he gets close, while tossing a perfume bottle to Parker who is now up on Roger Cage’s shoulders. Before the Challenger can plant Parker with the Cage Rage, the Champion sprays perfume in his face and hits the Future Shock. Rayne Man, regaining his composure, can find no evidence of the dabauchery and is forced to make the 3 count.

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Steven Parker defeated Roger Cage in 16:56 by pinfall after a distraction from Persephone. Steven Parker makes defense number 2 of his NYCW Empire title.

Backstage:

Another good show in my opinion, which should continue to boost our popularity, but Uncle Derek is still not happy and lectures me about booking with balance. I try and change the subject.

Me: “It seemed the fans were really happy to see you appear Uncle Derek…”

Stomper: “Well no crap son, because they were dying for a friggin match with a clean finish, what the hell, not every match has to end with interference or some cheap ass finish son. I promise you that they will talk more about Honest Frank going down clean, than they would have if you had 5 run ins, 3 weapons and a damn Partridge in a pair tree involved in the match!!!”

Me: “You think a Pear Tree would fit into that bag Frank had??”

I ducked the pan lid from the buffet table and was out the door before Uncle Derek could close the distance between and pop me again……not that it mattered, Uncle Derek never let a debt go unpaid, so I am sure I will be getting knocked out sometime in the next week or two.

I was spending some quiet time reflecting on the direction I wanted to take the company over the rest of the year. I really have a dilemma in that I need to start elevating our young talent as the top of the roster, with a few notable exceptions, was getting long in the tooth. Black Hat Bailey, Lee Wright, Steve Flash and Honest Frank were all 40 and up, yet despite their age and some recent setbacks the Gas House Gang was still our most popular group. Mayhem 2011 was ranked as our 3rd best card ever behind Thunder in the East 2010 and Rumble in the Bronx 2011, so the GHG still has value.

Steven Parker finally showed some life at Mayhem as he and Roger Cage put on our 5th best match ever and the only one from a 2011 show to crack the top 10. This is especially surprising considering Cage has been the biggest disappointment in the company since I took over the book.

We made a profit of $9,734.00 in May and I wanted a TV deal desperately, but Uncle Derek was against it and in my casual probing I had found nobody with a high degree of interest in putting us on. I had two new signings in the bag that had yet to unveiled and a pretty good idea that I would not be bringing 2 or 3 guys back when their contracts expired, especially one who had turned into a cancer.

There was a lot to ponder as I put the finishing touches on the poster for the June show Manhattan Project, including who would face the Champion. One thing that was certain in my mind though is that change was a coming.

Bailey: “What the hell is this? Do you really think that the Godfather of the Gas House Gang is going to sit here and let you wrestle some muscle bound young jobber after what happened last month? Donnie J, in the immortal words of Joey Ramone this is New York City, NYC, pretty mean when it wants to be………And you just can't go sticking your nose in our business, then casually hop into a Taxi to take in some Broadway show or stroll through Central Park like it’s all OK. So Riggins, you stay in the back son and Donnie J…..You stay right there so Lee Wright can come and kick your ass!!!!”

Biding his time, Wright re-enters and promptly plants a kick to the jewels, then proceeds to hammer Donnie with forearms across the back of the head, followed by vicious uppercut that stuns the former NYCW champion. Wright then goes for a power bomb, which Donnie J reverses into a hurricanrana flipping Wright into referee Michael Bull who goes down. As both men struggle to their feet Steve Flash appears and mounts the top turnbuckle with a chair. As he prepares to jump Donnie J nails Wright with a desperation enziguiri to the back, which propels Wright into the turnbuckle, crotching Flash, who drops the chair on Wrights head as he falls. As Wright staggers backwards Donnie J hits his finisher just as Bull recovers to make the 3 count.

I enter the arena to a chorus of boos and slowly make my way to the announcing area, where I take Herb Stately’s microphone.

Terry: “Ah my adoring public…it’s funny you boo the man who is here to provide you with a quality main event by giving the Empire Champion, Steven Parker, an opponent that is truly his equal, instead of the same old recycled has beens and never will be’s that you simpletons are accustomed to.”

Suddenly ‘Rain” by The Cult blasts over the sound system and Rayne Man emerges from the back.

Rayne Man: “Whoa Terry, wait just a second dude. I think the only thing these people need to hear is that I will be getting another crack at your pretty boy champion tonight. You see, I called it straight down the middle last month at Mayhem and I have something in my hand that you will be very interested in.” Rayne Man waives Persephone’s diary in the air and continues. “You said if I called a fair match AND found out the identity of the mystery attacker, then I would get another shot at the title.”

Terry: “True, but, I have matches to make and fans, no matter how much they disgust me, to entertain and well, when I needed to get the match booked…You weren’t anywhere to be found, so I picked somebody else.”

Rayne Man: “Dude that’s BS and you know it, you made a promise and I am here to deliver on my end, so you need to step up and do the same!”

Terry: (I laugh softly) “OK, so you are going to show me the diary you so easily found and tell me who the mystery attacker is and beg for your match. You know…Rayne Man…My last name is Twist for a reason. Who do you think ‘borrowed’ Persephone’s diary and left it where you would find it? I did stupid and when I saw who she had been paying off to attack whoever she felt was a threat to her glamour boys…Well, I made a call of my own and offered her hired gun an opportunity she could never provide. You see, I can appreciate a nice mind screw as much as the next guy as long as it doesn’t interfere with my company…..And well, as much as I admire Persephone for her ability to adapt and do some other things I won’t mention. I don’t appreciate her hiring Wrestlers to disrupt my business, since in truth; I decide who works in NYCW.”

Rayne Man: “Whatever, there is no way you are going to get out of this. I found the diary and when I reveal who the mystery attacker is, you are giving me my title shot tonight!”

Tuesday’s gone blares over the sound system as the Southern Comfort make their way to the ring, knowing that they need to win tonight or never receive another shot at the NYCW Tag Team Titles. As expected the match degenerates into a wild free for all as Triple D is on fire, busting Cornell open on the ring post and nearly catching The New York Doll with a Dazzle Driver, that Cornell just manages to break up with a desperation dive into Diamonds legs. With the Young Moguls in trouble, Lee Wright emerges from the back and pulls Diamond from the Apron as Kentucky Bill battles Cornell in the ring. Bill sees his partner being mauled by Wright from the outside and mounts the turnbuckle to deliver a double Ax handle, as Michael Bull tries to separate Wright and Diamond on the floor. Before Bill can jump, Honest Frank enters the fray and power bombs Bill from his perch on the Turnbuckle. New York Doll follows up with the Stock Ticker and Bull returns to the ring to make the count as Wright and Frank restrain Triple D on the outside.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, The Young Moguls defeated Southern Comfort in 9:57 when The New York Doll defeated Kentucky Bill by pinfall with The Stock Ticker following interference from Honest Frank. During the match we also had Lee Wright run in and attack Triple D.

Honest Frank watches as the Young Moguls taunt Southern Comfort, who pursue them into the back. “You know, quite honestly I am going to miss knocking Southern Comfort around for the Tag straps, and I hope the boys still have jobs wrestling Cows or kissing Sheep of whatever the hell they do when they get tired of watching the grass grow in them thar hills. But enough of that, I am moving on to the next big stain on the canvas of NYCW. Mr. Madman Boone, AKA Captain of the ****eyed, Sultan of the insane and Keeper of the Cuckoo’s nest. Whistler pulls you out of some asylum where you have been finger painting for the last year and brings you here to take care of the Gas House Gang because you’re just crazy enough to do it! Well you are crazy all right…..crazy enough to think you stand an ice cubes chance in hell of coming out of a scrap with us in one piece. The only sport you should be allowed to participate in is the rubber tipped Javelin throw in the special Olympics because the only medal you’re going to get here is the Honest Frank welcome to reality cold, hard truth medal!! And when I put it on you tonight, you like many others, will come to realize………THE TRUTH HURTS!!”

Honest Frank vs Madman Boone

Boone runs to ring literally foaming at the mouth as Whistler tries in vain to restrain him. Frank bails out and a game of ring around the rosy ensues as Boone tries to catch the honest one. Frank finally runs into a shot to the solar plexus from Whistlers flag pole and is then thrown into the ring, where Boone goes to work. After a savage beating Frank is jettisoned to the floor, where he tries to grab a steel chair, only to be thwarted by Whistler. Frank finally lands a low blow and works on Boone’s back, before unleashing a series of blows to head, which only infuriates the Madman. Frank tries to flee the ring again, but is blocked by Whistler, which brings Lee Wright from the back. Whistler chases Wright into the crowd leaving Boone, solidly in control, to his own devices. Madman Irish whips Frank into the corner and follows him in with a clothesline. Honest Frank ducks, slips behind Boone and rolls him up, throwing his feet over the ropes to steal the pin. Whistler returns and argues with Michael Bull in vain, but the referee did not see the infraction and the win stands.

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Honest Frank defeated Madman Boone in 10:50 by pinfall, illegally using the ropes for leverage.

Jim Force hits the ring in advance of his match against Steve Flash, waving to the crowd and drawing in the power of the people. Sammy the Shark suddenly appears and is none too happy. “Amazing….Absolutely amazing how the company I helped put on the map has turned its back on me and brought in circus freaks like Jim Force and given them every break in the world, while my blood, sweat and tears means nothing. I thought The Stomper was an Ace in the deck of wrestling, but by showcasing freaks like you Force, it turns out he is nothing but a Joker!”

The crowd roars as unbeknownst to Sammy, The Stomper has walked up behind him. The Shark nearly wets himself as The Stomper speaks. “You put this company on the map? Son, not only could you not carry my tights, you’re not even worthy to sniff them. In fact the only thing you will be carrying is your suitcase right out the back door……Unless of course, you can beat the circus freak in the ring there……”

Sammy: “But…But he has a match, he can’t wrestle twice….That’s against labor laws or something..”

Stomper: “You either wrestle him for your job, or...I can just fire you!!”

Jim Force vs Sammy the Shark

Sammy reluctantly makes his way to the ring and as Force gets in his face, Sammy timidly slaps the big man. Force snaps and promptly pounds Sammy to the mat, bangs his head on all four turnbuckles as the crowd counts and then puts him away, ending his career in NYCW.

In an extremely short match, Jim Force defeated Sammy the Shark in 3:38 by pinfall with a Full Force.

Jim Force vs Steve Flash

As Force celebrates Steve Flash hits the ring and appears to jab something into his neck. Force turns, grabs Flash by the throat and match 2 of the double header is on. Flash gets in spurts of offense, but for the most part is rag dolled by the maniacal Force, who press slams him, bear hugs him and nearly takes his head off with a clothesline. In total control, Force suddenly begins to slow down around the 10 minute mark, failing to even elevate Flash for the Full Force, instead falling to his knees with Flash nearly out on his feet. Force suddenly staggers around the ring and Flash, regaining his senses takes control, landing several wicked shots before putting Force out with a Flash Bang. Force has to be drug to the back as the crowd looks on in bewilderment.

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Steve Flash defeated Jim Force in 13:30 by pinfall with a Flash Bang.

Shady K enters the arena, ready for his title shot at Parker with a haughty sneer on his face. As he walks towards the ring there is a rumbling in the crowd as a stranger climbs over the guard rail and approaches Shady K from behind…

Stately: “I don’t know who that is, but he is going home in a body bag if he gets any closer to Shady K…..Wait a minute, I know that face, what the hell?”

Citizen X gets a running start and Bulldogs Shady K onto the hard entrance ramp. The assault continues until Shady K is motionless, at which point Citizen X heads to the announcers table and grabs a microphone.

Citizen X: “I promised myself that tonight I was going to sit amongst the fans and enjoy the matches like any other man. It’s what I am, it’s who I am and it’s where I love to be….A normal blue collar guy with a bunch of good people just like me….No fame, no glory, just an average citizen….Citizen X. But in good consciousness I could not allow the travesty that was about to take place to happen. Shady K, there is a lesson to be learned and that is you, just like the common man cannot get the finer things in life without earning them. You didn’t earn a shot at the Empire Title and I didn’t pay my money to see it handed to you. Parker, do the right thing and give the shot to the one who truly deserves it, in the name of all that is decent and fair.”

Steven Parker makes his way to the ring, staring at Citizen X as Shady K is wheeled past him on a stretcher. He gets to the ring, surveys the crowd and then spits in the direction of Citizen X. “I don’t know who the hell you think you are Dudley Do-right, but last I checked the bush league outfit you work for is a several hundred miles that way. You see, NYCW, this is the big show, the hottest ticket in the Big Apple and I am its biggest star, destined to shine on a much brighter stage than you or any of the jobbers that work here will ever know. You want fair? I’ll give you fair…..Rayne Man, your boyfriend took out Shady K for you, blow him a kiss on your way to the ring and then come get the kiss of death!”

Steven Parker vs Rayne Man – NYCW Empire Title

The crowd gets what it wants and the two don’t disappoint, trading a spectacular array of moves and counter moves that sees neither hold the upper hand for long. Citizen X moves ringside and effectively nullifies Persephone as the match wears on with both Parker and Rayne on even footing. Rayne Man lands a violent missile drop kick from the top rope, which gets Citizen X so excited he kisses Persephone, who goes ballistic and runs her finger nails across Citizen X’s eyes, temporarily blinding him. She takes advantage and smacks Rayne Man with her loaded purse as Parker distracts Michael Bull, knocking Rayne Man out. Citizen X recovers, grabs Persephone’s purse and circles around the ring. Persephone climbs onto the apron, screaming at Michael Bull to get her purse back. Bull orders her down but she grabs his shirt screaming, allowing Citizen X to climb into the ring from the other side and whack Parker, who has now nonchalantly covered Rayne Man, rendering him unconscious as well. Bull turns around and seeing both men out cold begins to count………neither moves as Bull reaches 10, ending the match.

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Steven Parker drew with Rayne Man in 17:03 following a double count out. During the match we also saw Citizen X run in and attack Parker, and Persephone also attack Rayne Man.

Backstage:

The Feedback as people exit is overwhelmingly positive and I have a feeling this will definitely be one of our best three shows ever. Stomper, as expected when things go right is in no hurry to talk to me, instead soaking in the accolades of the wrestlers, who line up to kiss his butt over his performance in the Sammy the Shark segment.

And speaking of the Shark, he is packed and gone before the final bell, leaving a terse note, with instructions on where to send his last check and sarcastically thanking me for nothing. What could I do, the guy couldn’t get over and was turning into a negative presence backstage, telling anyone who looked his way how I was ruining his career by breaking up his Shark Cage tag team with Roger Cage. Whatever, have fun selling Polaroid’s in Junior high Gyms!
