2010 was a banner year for the wrestling fan. With so many major events beginning to take shape. Hulk Hogan joining TNA, Bret Hart's return to the WWE, and the New Monday Night Wars beginning all in the first 3 months of the year and it only got hotter from there.

A basic Big Moments summary of the years events:

MARCH

In the WWE:

Wrestlemania 26 went without a hitch with Chris Jericho retaining the World Heavyweight Title over Edge, John Cena winning the WWE Title from Batista, The Undertaker ending Shawn Micheals' career, Christian winning the Money in the Bank Match, Triple H defeating Sheamus and no one will ever forget the image of Vince Mcmahon tapping out to the sharpshooter locked on him by Bret "The Hitman" Hart in the Main Event. After the match Bret said farewell to the fans and had a 20 minute standing ovation with many people breaking kayfabe to come out and celebrate with the Hitman including one Vince Mcmahon who hugged Hart and raised his arm in front of the world on PPV. It was a night fans will never forget.

The next night on Raw It was announced that in 2 weeks there would be another draft on a 3 hour long edition of RAW. But the show was heartbreaking though as "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Micheals said farewell to the fans and his friends in one of the most tear jerking promos ever delivered.

(highlight from his ten minute speech) "(crying) Everyday of my life all I ever wanted to do was entertain you fans. and I'm so glad you all allowed me to do that. You were with me when I won titles & I lost titles when we created DX you all embraced it. You all were with me when i lost my smile. You were there when I returned from an injury that should have ended my career. You were always with me. and I just want to thank you for letting me entertain you in my 25 years in this business. Thank You." said Micheals as wrestlers crowded the ring the Show ended with he and Triple H dawning DX tshirts and doing the crotch chops for the last time.

In TNA however:

The company began its first of its weekly Monday Impacts! and boy did it have an impact as in the first 5 minutes of the show Bill Goldberg appeared announcing that he has indeed signed a TNA contract and his first match would be at Destination X in 2 weeks. but that wasn't the only surprise in store for the night as both Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy made returns and were both entered into the Ultimate X match for the X division title at Destination X along with Kazarian, Amazing Red and X division Champion Doug Williams. In the Main Event Abyss turned on his Partner Hulk Hogan Joining A.J. Styles and Ric Flair and destroyed Hogan until Sting dropped from the rafters and kept them at bay with his trademark Baseball bat.

The next week was even more shocking if you could believe it as former ECW and TNA star Sabu appeared and he and Rob Van Dam Battled against Dr.Stevie and Raven in the most hardcore match fans have seen in years. The crowd was astounded when they heard Jeff Jarrett was going to have to fight for his job in a match that night by Eric Bischoff, and if Jarrett could some how win he would get 5 minutes in the cage with Bischoff at Lockdown and his opponent would be not one man but three men Abyss, A.J. Styles and Ric Flair. This plan backfired on Bischoff though as the three men's brutality caused the ref to disqualify them And Hogan came out to face abyss Flair and Styles but this time he did not come alone as Sting and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero came with him the show went off the air with "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero standing overtop of A.J. Styles holding The TNA Heavwieght title.

Destination X was another amazing night for TNA as Goldberg defeated Tomko, Rob Van Dam showed he still had it by winning the X division title in the Ultimate X match, Desmond Wolfe becoming the new TNA Global Champion with help from Ric Flair and Chelsea, Beer Money winning the Tag Team Titles, And A.J Styles retaining the TNA Heavyweight title do to interference by Chris Parks (Abyss now not wearing the mask, sporting a new hair cut and a suit.)Desmond Wolfe, and Ric Flair. Afterwords Ric Got on the mic and announced that this group is the NEW HORSEMEN, the four men pose inside the ring as Hogan comes out to the entrance way looking disgusted.

Styles and Desmond Wolfe winning the TNA Tag Titles the Horsemen held all the gold going into Lockdown. In the weeks leading up to the PPV Hulk Hogan booked himself in a match with Ric Flair inside the steel cage. We saw Eric Bischoff getting ready for his five minutes inside the cage with Jeff Jarrett, and Brooke Hogan Begging her dad not to go through with the match.

At Lockdown Eric Bischoff got what was coming to him in a five minute beat down by Jarrett but after the five minutes were up the Band entered the cage and destroyed Jarrett. The Band also had a match of their own against Kevin Nash and Eric Young in which Nash turned on Young powerbombing him into the cage allowing Hall and Waltman to win. Nash then celebrated with his friends. The New Horsemen retained all their titles in their respective matches, and we saw a huge swerve by Brooke Hogan who entered the cage during her fathers match against Flair and low blowed the Hulkster. After the Match she embraced A.J. Styles as the New Horsemen got into a limo and drove off.

What do you guys think? I know its alot to read but it sets you up to where i'm coming from.

This part is a typo, isn't it?

and noone will ever forget the image of Vince Mcmahon tapping out to the sharpshooter locked on him by Bret "the Hitman" Hart in the Main Event.

A nostalgia match main eventing the biggest show of the year?

Sounds like a good premise. I'd be interested to see how you manage to turn the very definition of stale into anything even vaguely resembling 'fresh'. Hopefully you'll invest in some of the young guys. :)

It was to end the show on a very big moment. Tell me seeing Bret Hart beat Mcmahon at Wrestlemania and the lockerroom emptying to celebrate Hart's historic career wouldn't be cool. after that not even Triple H broke into the main event unless it had several singles wrestlers in the match (fatal four way, Triple Threat ect.) and Undertaker ad a couple title matches but didn't win any of them. the only 90's Established star that main evented anything was when The Rock took on John Cena at SummerSlam.

As you see month by month as 2010 went by younger guys got pushed John Morrison had a world title reign, so did Christian, Daniel Bryan has been US champion for close to 7 months, Dolph Ziggler and Chris Sabin (Harter) both had runs with the IC title, and the biggest fresh Change is JOHN CENA is now the UBER HEEL on Smackdown.

now TNA i wrote it from a Vince Russo/ WCW side of things push your older guys hold some of your younger guys back style booking.

Woah!!!

After reading all of that my head is spinning let me give you a list of problems with this.

1. Numerous grammar errors, I for one can surely see it as some names are capitalized and others aren't

Kayfabe not Kayfab

No one not noone

2. Space this out reading it in a full sitting has my ears ringing.

I'm not trying to sound like an ***hole but not many are going to give you some love or credit.

Keep working hard

TNA officials furious about Final Destination PPV ending, WWE HOF 2011, ROH in Sports illustrated.

Many in TNA are furious after what happened last night at Final Destination in the main event. Hulk Hogan has made it known that he will not be disrespected again by any member of the locker room and had this to say when approached backstage after the incident:

I don't know what the hell is wrong with Joe, Brother. He made himself look bad, he made the company look bad, and he made me look bad. Brother. With that kind of attitude he will never make it very far in this business. I wont stand for it!

Dixie Carter, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Jarrett, and Samoa Joe had a impromptu behind closed doors meeting today. The nature of the meeting is unsure but Samoa Joe has left the arena with a smile on his face. I'm sure we will find out tonight on TNA Impact.
