The 'Monday Night Wars' are heating up a hell of a lot and with the controversial ending to Survivor Series, both promotions look as if they'll do anything to make sure they come out best. The nWo were still running things on WCW as they proved to be the biggest thing going for the company at the moment. Nobody in the world was bigger than the nWo so the WWF will have to pull out all the stops to make bigger stars. Bret Hart's WWF career is over and he'll never work for them again after what happened that night in Montreal. WCW is his home now and he'll have to hope the creative team can cash in on his massive momentum and popularity to ensure a great stay at World Championship Wrestling. With Ted Turner's millions and millions, nothing looks to be able to compete with the number one promotion in the world. Monday Night Nitro is destroying everything it encounters and it could only be a matter of time before the WWF are put out of business after so long at the top.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

After the Montreal Screw Job, Vince McMahon has taken the crown of biggest heel in the world at the moment. It doesn't matter if you're Hulk Hogan, anybody else in the nWo or a real life criminal. Vince McMahon threw the script out of the window at Survivor Series and claimed Bret screwed Bret. The world was shocked and confused as Bret spat in the face of Vince. Only a coward like Vincent Kennedy McMahon could stoop this low. With the biggest stars in the world now at WCW, the World Wrestling Federation will have to build new ones. They no longer have Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage or Bret Hart in their arsenal. Things have changed and they just have to use what they've got. This'll make for a great war on Monday night's.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Monday's were wrestling night's. Raw or Nitro. WWF or WCW. You had to make a choice. Every household in the world, okay maybe not those darn French, were tuned into to find out what would happen on this weeks Raw or Nitro. This war was about to turn ugly and only one promotion could come out on top. When the dust settles who will remain the best company in the world? And who will be out of business? Tune in on Monday night's to find out how it all goes down. It's now December 1st, how will things unfold from here on out..</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

November 9, 1997 will be a day that wrestling fans all around the world will never forget. No matter what Vince McMahon says, we all know he screwed Bret. Bret didn't screw Bret, Earl Hebner didn't screw Bret, Vince screwed Bret. Bret was jumping ship to WCW and Vince didn't want his World title to be made a mockery of. Bret had agreed to drop the title the next night on Raw and retain in Montreal. Sadly, that's not how it went down. What happened that night is one of the most recognised events in history, more so that most superstars Rumble wins to be honest. Vince shot into the boots of the biggest heel in the industry and must now turn his attentions to beating World Championship Wrestling's show, WCW Monday Nitro, in the ratings. With the loss of Bret Hart and star power like Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan at Eric Bischoff's disposal, Vince will be racking his brain of ways to gain the viewers. It's not impossible but it's sure as hell a huge challenge. The WWF don't have the same financial backing as WCW do which will make it harder to sign the top stars they needs to break through the glass ceiling. WCW can practically sign anybody they want. With the road to Wrestlemania only around the corner, Vince will have to make sure he's putting out the best shows he has done since.. ever! His promotion has ruled the wrestling industry since anyone can remember and he can't allow WCW to walk right in and take that honour. The Monday Night War is on!

It's December, 1997 and the wrestling business is booming. Ted Turner's WCW are ruling the wrestling world after finally knocking the WWF off the top after their long long stay. The WCW roster is arguably the best ever assembled with the likes of Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Sting and Ric Flair available. On paper they look unstoppable but it's down to them to give the fans great storylines and glue them to their screens. It's all about the ratings now. The World Wrestling Federation is the enemy. Vince McMahon is the enemy. They must go down at all costs. This world knows WCW are the best in the world at what they do and they aim to keep it that way. With the financial muscle power of the very wealthy Ted Turner and the great ideas of Eric Bischoff, the future doesn't look to bright for the opposition.

WCW Monday Nitro

Week 1, December 1997

The first WCW of December embarks the road to Starrcade 1997. 1997 is going to go out in a enormous way as WCW's biggest event takes place. It's rumored over 90,000 people are planning to show up and watch there favourite superstars battle one another. Everyone on the roster wants the opportunity to wrestle on the company's biggest event of the year but not all of them can. It's time to put up or shut up and earn a place on the card in the next few weeks.

The nWo are still on top as Hollywood Hulk Hogan is sitting at the top of the mountain. It'll be hard for anybody to topple him with so many New World Order members on his side, ready to help him out if in a sticky situation. The ****y young Buff Bagwell has challenged Lex Luger to a match to find out who the real 'Total Package' in WCW is. With Bagwell being in the nWo is still remains to be seen if Bagwell will be out there on his own. Lex Luger may have to have eyes in the back of his head tonight on Nitro.

Another two members of the nWo are confirmed to be in action tonight. The Outsiders, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, are set to face a team who have spent years by each others side. The team of Rick and Scott Steiner, The Steiner Brothers. The 3 time WCW World Tag Team champions are not putting the titles on the line but The Outsiders are sure to be in line for a shot at the gold if they emerge victorious tonight. Although, Nash and Hall may have other things on there mind as The Giant is itching to get some revenge on them and the nWo. After weeks of scathing attacks and promos, The Giant is on the verge of snapping and that can only be bad. Kevin Nash and The Giant may be battling over who is the biggest and baddest but Nash will have to concentrate and give his partner his full attention if they are going to get anything out of this match.
