Brendan Schaub talks Puder comparisons

<img src=http://coloradosportsdesk.com/wp/wp-content/6a00c2252646338fdb0123ddd36d53860d-320pi.jpg>

In an interview with sherdog.com, up-and-comer Brendan Schaub discussed himself and Daniel Puder.

BS: I mean, we're two guys who started fighting here at the same time. We got into the UFC in similar fashion and we're both winning. It's easy too see where people would draw these comparisons.

Sherdog: Could you beat him?

BS: Of course. Daniel is a hell of a fighter, but I'd win.

Sherdog: Would you want this fight to happen?

BS: Get Dana on the phone!

Time to put up, or shut up!

<img src=http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/5/50035/932558-quinton_jackson_super.jpg><img src=http://www.nowboxing.com/wp-content/uploads/andersonsilva-on-cage.jpg>

Dana White has done it again. At UFC 120, in just three weeks, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and Anderson Silva will square off in arguably the biggest fight in MMA history. The Light Heavyweight title will be on the line in this battle. But much more is up for grabs.

"He lost the fight the second he punked me all those months back," Jackson told ESPN.com. "He ain't gettin' a fight, he's a gettin' an a** whoopin! I'm in Rampage mode right now...I don't care what you did to Forrest Griffin, or Demian Maia...I'm not them! Be ready, Anderson...be ready."

Anderson Silva couldn't be reached for comment.

It's safe to say this is going too be a historic night for the UFC, as well as MMA.

-This was it. The big battle. It was a slug fest for the ages. Silva came at Rampage, guns blazing, rocking him at least four times in the first three rounds. Rampage somehow kepts his wits and avoided a few fight-ending scenarios. He took the most brutal of head kicks, and didn't budge. It seemed Silva threw everything at him and couldn't strike him out. Rampage felt Silva was disheartened in the start of the 4th round, and let loose. He nailed him with a hook, backed him against the cage, and porceeded too land hammer-after-hammer right on Silva's jaw, temple, cheek...you name it. Rampage walked away the better of the two.

Winner: Rampage Jackson via. TKO (0:24 in rd. 4) *EXCELLENT*

I'll update later today or tomorrow. I'm at the point of the year (in game) where the contracts run up. I think I'm close to being in 50+ negotiations with fighters in just the UFC alone. So give me some time.

Rampage rants

<img src=http://photo.mensfitness.co.uk/images/library_UK_9/rampage_jackson_ufc_workout_4714_7.jpg>

Rampage Jackson recently sat down with ESPN The Magazine, talking about his epic fight against Anderson Silva, his favorite UFC fighter, and who is next in line for his title.

ESPN: First off, the fight against Silva was hyped as the biggest fight in MMA history. Thoughts?

Rampage: It was big, yeah. Champ vs. champ. The untouchable, tactical mastermind against the balls-to-the-wall psycho. They had reason too be excited for it.

ESPN: Anderson knocked you down three times, what went through your mind when he did that?

Rampage: "I guess I should start trying now."

ESPN: That's it?

Rampage: Yup.

ESPN: Other than yourself, who is your favorite fighter to watch in the UFC?

Rampage: BJ Penn, Georges St. Pierre, and I like Aaron Simpson too. I like the young guys in the Heavyweight division. [Daniel] Puder, Ralek [Gracie], but not Schaub...that's Rashad's little puppet.

ESPN: Speaking of Rashad, is he next in line?

Rampage: First off, I'll fight who ever. But he's probably not. Myself and Dana had already settled on my next opponent even before the Silva fight. I can't really name-names, but we have the next opponent in line and it isn't Rashad.

ESPN: What's in the future for Rampage?

Rampage: Wins.
