<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">Over the past few weeks, the tag team champions haven’t been having much luck. First Lynn lost in a singles match vs. Kingston, while Scorpio was defeated by Rob Conway. Then on last week’s episode, Lynn was defeated in a fantastic matchup between Nick Dinsmore and Eddie Kingston, where there was chaos in the ring, but Dinsmore took advantage and got the win! Now Paul Heyman has decided since both teams have gotten victories over the champions (in singles matches), he has decided to make BOTH of them the #1 Contenders match! And this time it will be a triple threat match!</span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">So Heyman and Anthony decided to give fans a little treat in a Triple Threat HARDCORE match! Sabu and Sandman has had wars before over the ECW Title before, but throw in the “Wild Card” of ECW’s newest signing of Necro Butcher, and you got a match that will make any Hardcore Death match enthusiast wet his or her pants! Definitely not for the squeamish!!</span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">Return Match</span></span></p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">At Living Dangerously, the Miz shocked not only Danielson but the entire wrestling world by beating him in a match, which Danielson was a heavy favorite to win. Although Danielson was clearly “screwed” out of his victory, he got a measure of revenge against the Miz, including assisting in letting his tag team partner at the time, Cheerleader Melissa! Since his team secured the victory, Heyman has granted Danielson one last shot at the “departing” Miz, to prove that he is “the best in the world.’</span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="color:#FF0000;">“A Double” Austin Aries</span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"> vs.</span></span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="color:#0000FF;"> James Gibson</span></span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">So Aries had an impressive debut on the last episode of Extreme Measures, but he misjudged Spike Dudley and he paid for it with the Acid Drop and his first loss. He feels that he is the “next franchise player” here in ECW, so he is going to take on another former ROH Champion, other than himself, James Gibson!</span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">Match for the Number #1 Contender to the ECW T.V. Title</span></span></p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="color:#0000FF;">Shane Helms vs</span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">. </span></span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="color:#FF0000;">Super Crazy</span></span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">So after a intense match last week, Super Crazy pleaded his case saying that he should have had his match vs. Rico Dinero and thus should have been the two time T.V. champion, exhaustion or not! And Crazy feels that Helms is not up to his “caliber”. Helms begs to differ. He feels that he should have won the title back at Living Dangerously, and that Rico Dinero is “ducking” him, taking every short cut to avoid him. Helms also say that he will have someone, “watching his back” as well. Heyman made a match at this episode of Extreme Measures for the winner of this match will be the TRUE #1 contender for the ECW T.V. title. </span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="color:#0000FF;">Chavo Guerrero</span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"> vs. </span></span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="color:#FF0000;">The Damaja</span></span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">Both men have been “re-inspired” as of late. Chavo was having a little “pity party” on being ignored by management, until the ECW Champion, Dave Finlay gave him an impromptu title match! Even though he lost, he has re-invigorated his fighting spirit inside of him. The Damaja on the other hand, has been laying waste to wrestlers in ECW, and has had an impressive streak as of late, defeating such names as The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, James Gibson and even former ECW Heavyweight and T.V. Champion, Rob Van Dam! Whoever wins this match up would have a good chance at an ECW Title shot in the future. </span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">And the main event!</span></span></p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="color:#FF0000;">Antonio Banks w/ Teddy Long, and Tyler Douglas</span></span></span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"> vs. </span></span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="color:#0000FF;">Tommy Dreamer and ECW Champion, Dave Finlay</span></span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">All 4 of these men have had a storied past with each other, not only with their opponents, but with their partners as well! Finlay and Banks have had a war since back in the first ECW Pay Per View back at Guilty as Charged! Banks held the title taking on all comers, until he lost the title at the following PPV at Living Dangerously! Now Finlay has been fighting off everyone who wants a piece of him. Tyler Douglas has been one of the biggest thorns in Tommy Dreamer’s side since debuting in ECW! Costing him matches and even going so far as to putting Dreamers wife in the hospital executing his deadly finisher the “D.O.A”. Banks and Douglas squared off to see who would face Finlay at Barely Legal, in which Banks won, only with the assistance from a returning Tommy Dreamer! Now, on the final show before Barely Legal, these two men will try to inflict as much pain as they can before the PPV. </span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"><span style="font-size:12px;">All this and so much more on the EXTREME MEASURES!!!</span></span></p><p> </p><p>

Hackin and Jackin vs. the Samoan Gangstas

You guys probably aren't ready to take the next step up, better to let the more experienced team take this. Plus isn't your partner leaving?

Rookie Legends vs. Lords of the Ring vs. Straight Thuggin for the ECW Tag Titles

They'll probably lose but I fancy them holding onto them, for just a little bit longer.

Sabu vs. The Sandman vs. Necro Butcher in a Hardcore Triple Threat

I would love to see this one! I fancy the youngest man in this to come up with the win.

American Dragon vs. the Miz

It's always fun to see him lose. :p Plus he's soon to be gone, like Shad.

Austin Aries vs. James Gibson

Gibson's leaving and Aries is younger and has more potential anyway.

Shane Helms vs. Super Crazy – Winner becomes #1 Contender for T.V. Title

Always pick against the guy leaving. :D Plus Helms>Crazy.

The Damaja vs. Chavo Guererro

I don't care about leaving/staying anymore, no way would the Damaja lose this one anyway.

Antonio Banks/Tyler Douglas vs. Tommy Dreamer/Dave Finlay

His partner is leaving but hell man, it's MVP!

Nice card, from top to bottom. Good tag action and standout singles matches like Helms/Crazy.

The Samoan Gangsters (Ekmo/Kimo) vs. Hackin and Jackin (L.A. Gates/Shad Gaspard)

This match wasn’t technically sound, but all 4 men were brawling with each other, and even though that the Samoans were bigger than H&J, but that didn’t matter to H&J, as they took the fight to the bigger men. They even went so far that Gaspard hit the STO on Kimo and Gates hit a beautiful Swanton Splash over Kimo’s face while Shad was holding the chair! It was several times, that people thought that Gates and Gaspard were going to pull off an upset, but in the end the Samoans pulled off a victory when Ekmo hit the “3S” on Shad and then Kimo did the Top Rope Splash for the pinfall. But they were not done, when Gates tried to fight them off, he was over powered and he was handcuffed to the ropes. He then witnesses his friend being systematically DESTROYED, when they put a chair over his ankle, and they took turns doing top rope splashes. And they gave Gates a chair shot (ala Raven) for good measure. After the paramedics came down and helped Gaspard. They confirmed that his ankle is broken. Gates got on the microphone and said they have crossed the line, by putting his friend out of commission. So at BARELY LEGAL, he is going to get someone to tag with and he’s going to show them how “GANGSTER” he really is…even if he has to take them on, ALONE!

Winner: Samoan Gangsters

Rating: 61

Angle:

Heyman makes a match for Barely Legal

Heyman goes on and tells the crowd that he is going to make a match just for the fans, between ECW Alumnus’s. It will be the “Japanese Buzzsaw” Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. the whole F’n Rob Van Dam! The winner of that match will get a shot at the winner of the Antonio Banks vs. Dave Finlay!

ECW Tag Team Title Match

Triple Threat

Rookie Veterans (Scorpio/Jerry Lynn) vs. Lords of the Ring (Nick Dinsmore/Rob Conway) w/Don Callis vs. Straight Thuggin (Eddie Kingston/B-Boy)

While Heyman was out, he made a “special” stipulation to this match. The loser of this match would NOT be in the Barely Legal PPV. So basically the stakes were now just raised, because not only could the Veterans lose the titles and not get pinned, but if the Veterans did get pinned, not only would the lose the titles, but they would not get a rematch at Barely Legal, due to the stipulation that was just put out!! All three of these men took each other to the limit and the crowd was clearly into this match! The finish came when it looked like the Lords were about to pull an upset and execute a Running Lariat/German Suplex combo on B-Boy. B-Boy ducked and Conway wound up hitting Dinsmore with the Lariat, but Dinsmore held on and hit a release German Suplex on B-Boy! Scorpio took advantage of the confusion and hit the 450 Splash on Dinsmore for the pinfall! Now, the Lords of the Ring cannot challenge for the titles at Barely Legal!!

Winner and Still Tag Team Champions: Rookie Legends

Hardcore Triple Threat

Sabu w/Bill Alfonso vs. the Sandman vs. Necro Butcher

Sabu and Sandman have fought plenty of times before, but the “X-factor” clearly was Necro. And Necro didn’t disappoint, he took it to both of the ECW legends and he even went so far as to do his infamous “Punch off”, where all three men sat down in chairs and started exchanging stiff punches to the face! Sandman started doing what he does best and started “caning” the HELL out of people to include Sabu and Necro! Sabu wasn’t going to be left out as Sabu did the Hurracanrana on Necro while Sandman was on the table!! The finish of the match came when Necro locked in the Asiatic Spike on Sandman, but he didn’t see Sabu up on the top rope and Fonzie thru him a chair and he landed the Arabian Facebuster on both Sandman and Necro for the pinfall! After the match, all 3 men shook each other’s hand as a sign of respect!

Winner: Sabu

Rating: 59

Angle: “Another Heyman Idea…”

So Heyman comes on and says that he has taken in both Super Crazy and Shane Helms valid points, and that he is going to bring closure to this situation. He says tonight we will see Super Crazy take on Shane Helms and the winner of that match faces Elijah Burke at Barely Legal!

The Miz vs. “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson

This was a rematch that Danielson was demanding, if not BEGGING for this rematch. Miz said before the match, that he hope he didn’t mind getting beat by the “best in the world”, which Danielson clearly took exception to this and he would beat Miz literally within an “inch” of his life! He also made Miz bleed, with repeated Elbow Strikes to the face. Miz however wouldn’t go out like a punk, and he would return the favor and make Danielson bleed as well. If this was Miz’s last match, he certainly made it “memorable”, by delivering a flying double knee drop on a chair covering Danielson’s face! The finish came when Miz tried to deliver the “Skullcrushing Finale on Danielson, but he fought out of it, and locked in the Ankle lock”, and he was in the middle of the ring and there was nowhere Miz could go and nothing he could do, as he did what the crowd said, and tapped out.

Winner via Submission: Bryan Danielson

Rating: 82

Angle: “Opportunist”

After the match, Danielson was going to extend his hand in respect for Miz’s last match, and just when he was going to do it, he gave Danielson the finger at the last moment! With both men bleeding in the ring, a “fan” runs in the ring and attacks both Miz AND Danielson! The fan was to be revealed as….

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/AustinAries22.jpg

AUSTIN ARIES!!

He first focuses on Miz delivering a Sick Brain buster on to the chair, and then executing a 450 Splash for good measure, and he did the same thing to Danielson, executing a Brain buster on the chair and a then did a 450 Splash on him too! He then called for the microphone and said that the Miz was not in the same CALIBER as Bryan Danielson and he shouldn’t even been in the same ring! Aries starts to kick him out of the ring! He then says that Danielson was ducking him FOR YEARS! Never gave him a shot or faced him when he was in ROH, even when he was part of GenNext. But now he has his attention now! Aries challenged Danielson at a match at Barely Legal and he said just in case he was having any “second thoughts”, Aries locked in the “Last Chancery” on Danielson until the staff has to restrain him!

Rating: 64

Austin Aries vs. James Gibson

Aries got his point across that he attacked both Miz and Danielson savagely, that one of the men that came out to stop the attack on Danielson was his next opponent, James Gibson! Gibson and Aries brawled thru the ring, and the referee from the last match rang the bell and the match was on the way! Both men had good psychology and it went back and forth which was clearly anybody’s match! The finish came when Gibson delivered the Tiger Driver on Aries but he kicked out in the last possible second! Then Aries then hit the Brain buster, but he kicked out as well! The final factor took place on the top rope with two folding chairs facing each other to make a platform of sorts. Gibson tried to hit another Tiger Driver off the top rope, but Aries hit a low blow and made it blatant! He then hit another Brain buster/Super plex thru the chairs and then hit a 450 Splash for good measure! And then he locked in the Last Chancery on Gibson, even though he was knocked out due to Aries succession of finishers, the referee had no choice but to give him the pinfall.

Winner by Stoppage: Austin Aries

Rating: 76

Angle: Tag Team Hype

Antonio Banks and Tyler Douglas hyped up their match talking to Thomas Campbell about their upcoming tag team match tonight, and how they “put aside’ their difference and focused on a common goal, the “destruction” of their opponents tonight, Tommy Dreamer and Dave Finlay. But Douglas told Banks then when and “if” he won the ECW Title, that some point that he would be coming after him and that title. Banks said that he “wouldn’t have it any other way”.

ECW #1 Contender for the T.V. Title

Shane Helms vs. Super Crazy

These two had history no doubt, and with the chance to face Rico Dinero on the line, there was no greater motivation to win than that, however for Helms it was a little different, he wanted to beat Dinero, because he knew he could! Both men took to the air majority of the match to keep the fans literally out of their seats! With Crazy hitting the Moonsault Trifecta and Helms hitting the “Overcast” Neck breaker, this match could have easily gone either way! Then Rico Dinero came out and Helms knew that he was going to interfere! He distracted Helms to the point that Crazy hit the Crazy Bomb, but Helms kicked out the last possible moment! It was difficult to tell at that point who was more upset at that point, Crazy or Dinero? Dinero interjected himself into the ring and Crazy held Helms as Dinero was about to hit Helms with the T.V. belt! The first time, Helms kicked him in the face, and the second time as Dinero tried to hit him with belt, he ducked and hit Super Crazy instead! After the miscue, Helms kicked Dinero in the knee, and did the Shining Black (Shining Wizard) on him, blasting him out of the ring! Then he turned his attentions back on to Super Crazy and finished him off with the “Verterbreaker” on the T.V. title belt for the win!

Winner and #1 Contender to the T.V. Title: Shane Helms

Rating: 78

Angle: “The Backup”

After the match, Helms was antagonizing Dinero posing with this title belt, when Super Crazy regained consciousness and started to attack Helms. Dinero got back into the ring and started to attack Helms as well, and both men ganged up on Helms. Suddenly the lights went off, and a man stood in the ring, dressed in “hood gear” to include a black hoodie and he started to attack both Dinero and Crazy, and then that gave Helms the opportunity to fight back! Dinero slinked out of the ring, and both the “man” and Helms attacked Crazy! Helms hit the “Shining Black” and then Crazy started to get up, and the “man” hit the Axe Scissor Kick!

Helms: “You know what Dinero? I figured that you would pull some bullsh*t like this, and I told you that I had back up! Well guess what, you ALREADY KNOW who this is!!!’

The man pulled back the hoodie and the “mask” to reveal that he was none other than...

RON KILLINGS!!!

Killings and Helms started to celebrate in the ring, and Helms started to pose with the T.V. Title.

The Damaja vs. Chavo Guererro

Chavo was neither intimidated nor scared of the Damaja, despite the fact that he had an impressive winning streak in ECW! Chavo used his speed and lucha libre type moves to take the Damaja off his feet several times! Chavo hit the “3 Amigo’s” and the Tornado DDT on Damaja and almost pinned him, but he kept kicking out! But later Chavo learned that all it takes is one mistake for Damaja to capitalize, and he did just that! When Chavo tried to do a variation of his finisher, the Tornado DDT, into a Springboard Tornado DDT, Damaja countered with a Spinebuster Powerbomb! And it was downhill from there! He made Chavo suffer with several power moves including a Lariat, the Collateral Damage (Spinning Brain buster-renamed from Brain Damage) and the Brain Damage (Choke Bomb) for the pinfall!

Winner: The Damaja

Main Event

Antonio Banks w/Teddy Long and Tyler Douglas vs. Tommy Dreamer and Dave Finlay

Before the match even began, Paul Heyman came out again for the 3rd time of the evening. He said that he wanted to make things “interesting”. So he decided to add “incentive”, he said that whoever won this tag team match tonight, they can choose the type of matches and stipulation at Barely Legal! After that announcement, both teams were more motivated now more than ever! All 4 men were impressive in the ring, with the heels taking every page out of the heel rule book, to include distracting the referee, to attacking the man who wasn’t active, and that was on the apron. Banks and Douglas focused primarily on the ECW Champion, preventing him from tagging his partner, especially Douglas, who every time Dreamer entered the ring, Douglas would continue to play mind games with him, by not fighting him. While getting beaten majority of the match, Finlay FINALLY tagged Dreamer, and he started to take out Douglas and Banks. The finish of the match came with not Douglas and Banks not getting beaten by Dreamer and Finlay, but by themselves. Banks and Douglas began to argue and Banks finally got tired Douglas’s attitude and delivered the “U. D.I.E IN M.I.A.” (Chokebreaker)! Finlay at the time was the legal man and finished him off with the “Celtic Crash” (Air Raid Crash) for the win!

Winners: Tommy Dreamer and Dave Finlay

Rating: 76

Angle: “Rewards”

After the match the winners of the Tag Team Match decided their rewards. Dave Finlay said that he wants a LAST MAN STANDING match with Antonio Banks, and the ECW Title will be on the line! For Tommy Dreamer, it would be a bit more personal.

Dreamer: “Douglas, you came to ECW to make a name for yourself, a name at my expense. You interfered in my matches; you tried to break my arm. You even tried to break my wife’s neck. You want to destroy my legacy in ECW? How far are you willing to go? Well at Barely Legal, we are going to find out! Because now it’s going to be Dreamer vs. Douglas, THE FINAL CHAPTER in a Table, Ladders and Chairs match! And guess what, it’s a LOSER LEAVES ECW match! By the end of the night, either you would have destroyed my Legacy, a place that I love more than life! Or, you will be destroyed, just like the others!!!”

Cheerleader Melissa vs Kid Kash

Melissa has proven her worth here in ECW, holding her own and going toe to toe with several of the male competitors in ECW. She has even gotten a pinfall over former ECW star, The Miz! But the one thing that is nagging her in the back of her mind is “the Notorious K.I.D” Kash. Last month, at Living Dangerously, Melissa had him beat and he weaseled his way into a victory, now she getting a rematch against Kash!

Samoan Gangsters vs L.A. Gates/??

On the last episode of Extreme Measures, Gates had to watch in horror that his tag team partner and friend Shad Gaspard was taken out by the Samoan Powerhouses of Ekmo and Kimo, when they did top rope splashes on Gaspards ankle, putting him out INDEFINATELY! Now Gates says he’s going to go up against him to take revenge against the Samoans, the question is will he have a partner or will he do what he said and face them ALONE, which would be a suicide mission?

ECW Tag Team Title Match

Rookie Veterans vs. Straight Thuggin

The tag team champions of Jerry Lynn and Scorpio has been impressive as tag team champions, despite their sometimes their bickering. They have fought off defenses of The Lords of the Ring and the Backseat Boyz, and even retained their titles in a 3 way tag team match vs. the Lords and Straight Thuggin! The team of Kingston and B-Boy have been equally impressive also, but only in singles matches. On the previous episode of Extreme Measures they survive a triple threat tag match, where the loser of that match, could not challenge for the tag team titles at Barely Legal, since they outlasted Lords of the Ring, now they are going to for the title shot against Lynn and Scorpio!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/ChavoGuererroJr2.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/vs.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/RonKillings4-1.jpg

Chavo Guererro Jr. vs. Ron Killlings

After Killings made his “debut” being the man that is going to watch his friend, Shane Helms back, Killings is going to make his ECW PPV debut vs. Chavo Guererro! Guererro has kinda been in a slump as of late, taking losses from Dave Finlay, Damaja and the current T.V. Champion, Rico Dinero (in a 4 way dance). Now, this could be Guererro chance at redemption and he could win this match, spoiling Killings debut! Or Killings and make an “impact” and prove that Helms made the right choice for watching his back.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/NickDinsmore-1.jpg

Nick Dinsmore’s Open Challege

Dinsmore was livid at the loss that him and his partner had sustained at the previous episode of Extreme Measures. But he did find a loophole though. Heyman said that the team that lost could not challenge for the tag team titles at Barely Legal, however, he didn’t say that he couldn’t WRESTLE there. So he made an open challenge and he is going to take out his “frustrations” whoever is stupid enough to take up his challenge!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/DannyHollie2.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/vs.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/TheSandman3.jpg

The Damaja vs The Sandman

So the Damaja has been on a tear over the past couple of weeks, amassing a win streak over names such as Rob Van Dam, Chavo Guererro, Tommy Dreamer and the Sandman, having a impressive record of 6-2. However, the person who gave him his first loss, was none other than the Sandman at Guilty as Charged. And even though he lost a hardcore triple threat match with Sabu and Necro Butcher, the Sandman seems to have no problem defeating the Damaja once again, but will history repeat itself, or will Sandman just be another victory added to his already growing list?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/AustinAries22.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/vs.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/BryanDanielson2.jpg

Austin Aries vs “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson

So these two apparently has issues way before ECW, since both were in rival promotion Ring of Honor. On episode 6 of Extreme Measures, Aries suffered a stunning loss to Spike Dudley and said that he wasn’t taken “seriously” in ECW, so he decided to make a statement! After feeling that Danielson “ignored” him in ROH, he decided to send a message not only to Danielson, but to the entire locker room. He not only attacked and bloodied the Miz and Danielson after their match at EM VII, but he then defeated former Ring of Honor Champion, James Gibson in a similar brutal fashion! But do not count Dragon out! Dragon has said once before in the words of Bruce Banner, “You wouldn’t like him, when he’s angry”, and if you don’t believe him, ask the referee who cost him his match at Living Dangerously!

ECW T.V. Title Match

Shane Helms w/Ron Killings vs Rico Dinero © w/Teddy Long

It has been a very long road for Shane Helms in his short time in ECW. After going thru two qualifying matches to get a shot at the T.V. title, he has felt screwed time and time again, against going up against the current title holder, Rico Dinero. Dinero who was the recent member of the faction “The Playa’s Club”, has made it no secret that he feels that Helms is not worthy to challenge him and has went so far as to interfere in his matches, and add stipulation on the fly! This is the first time that Helms and Dinero has faced each other one on one, but Helms isn’t stupid, he realize that the Playa’s club will try to interfere, so he has brought in Ron Killings to be the difference maker and watch his back!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/Tajiri3.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/DawnMarieBD5.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/vs.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/RobVanDam3.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/BillAlfonso2.jpg

#1 Contender for the ECW Title

“The Japanese Buzzsaw” Yoshihiro Tajiri w/ Dawn Marie vs “The Whole F’N Show” Rob Van Dam w/Bill Alfonso

These are undoubtedly two of ECW’s best! Rob Van Dam is synonymous with ECW, being the longest reigning T.V. Champion and being one of the Grand Slam Champions of the promotion. Tajiri is one of the most underrated wrestlers of the promotion and can pull out a fantastic yet deadly array of martial arts kicks! And now you can believe that both men are going to go ALL out to fight for the right to face the winner of Dave Finlay and Antonio Banks for the ECW Title!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/TommyDreamer3-1.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/vs.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/DougBasham3.jpg

Tables , Ladders, and Chairs Match

With the Added stipulation that the loser of this match LEAVES ECW!!

“The Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer vs “The Outlaw” Tyler Douglas

To say this match was personal, is an understatement. These two men have been waging this war with each other since the first ECW pay per view 3 months ago, Guilty as Charged. Even though it was a short 3 months, the way that Douglas began screwing with Dreamers head even rivaled the way that Raven did it! And he was damaging Dreamer for almost 2 years. But Dreamer gave as good as he got when it came to Douglas, but the stakes went to a whole new level, when Douglas executed the D.O.A. on Beulah, almost breaking her neck and sending her to the hospital! Now in the final chapter of the story of these two men, ECW is not big enough for the both of them, and when the night is over, someone will no longer be on the roster. Either Dreamer will finally destroy his nemesis in Douglas, or Douglas will set out what he came to do, and KILL the legacy of Tommy Dreamer.

LAST MAN STANDING

For the ECW Title

Antonio Banks w/Teddy Long vs “The Belfast Brawler” Dave Finlay

This was another story where two warriors have been battling for the richest prize in ECW since the rebirth of ECW. It began with two men outside from ECW trying to win the vacant ECW Title, and as irony would have it, Banks was eliminated by Finlay earlier that night. But fate gave Banks a second chance and he made the most of it, winning the ECW Title. Finlay however wouldn’t rest until he claimed what was rightfully his, which he won at the next Pay Per View, Living Dangerously. Banks had invoked his rematch clause, and even went so far as to “save” Finlay from defeat at the hands of Tyler Douglas. Now, since Finlay won a tag team match with his partner, Tommy Dreamer, he got the right choose a match that he wanted, which he chose Last Man Standing. Because he states that he will not just beat Banks, but he is going to break his “will” to the point that he doesn’t want to answer the 10 count. Banks however says that hes has been considered a “longshot” before, and just like those times, he will rise to the occasion and prove everyone wrong.

All this and so much more at ECW’s BARELY LEGAL!

Most Achievable Moment: Helped Rebuild ECW w/Paul Heyman

Position: Upper Midcarder, Booker, 50% Owner

Synopsis:

Ever since Anthony was a little boy, he wanted to be a wrestler, but due to "shadowy" circumstances (none that he will talk about), he had to go into the military and serve his country in 4 different occassions. After getting out of the military, he started wrestling for small, local promotions, going under the alias of "Logan Anthony", where it was that fateful day that he met former ECW Owner, Paul Heyman, at one of his wrestling events that he was wrestling at.

After speaking "playfully" of the idea of re-opening Extreme Championship Wrestling, which Heyman sarcastically made the partner bidding price of $5 Million dollars, which Anthony shockingly brought the next day.

For what Anthony lacks in "clarity" since he is very mysterious, he is EXTREMELY loyal to both Paul, and the workers who are loyal to him in return. He also has tendenicies to be very RUTHLESS when the situation calls for it. (ex: signing majority of the Ring of Honors "Dozen"). And he is very disciplined and can be even at times, cold and calculating. He has taken on the previous enemies of Paul Heyman to include, Smokey Mountain Wrestling, Jim Cornette, Ring of Honor, former Heyman protege;Gabe Sapolsky and Eric Bischoff and of course WCW.

In the ring, he is another story. He is willing to put people over who are more talented than hiself, due to learning the aspects of wrestling and psychology. Anthony is willing to put his body on the line almost at times, that even though he is a big man, he isnt always afraid to take to the air, displaying such moves as a Swanton Bomb and even his Shooting Star Press, the "Please Dont DIE".

Time can only tell if Anthony will be successful in ECW, inside the ring, or behind the scenes, but one things for certain. Succeed or Fail, Anthony is going to make this "Wrestle War" memorable....

(ok, this is my first attempt at making a wrestler's profile and I started with the "wrestler" I know best. Myself. I need you No B.S. honest opinion on this. Because if this is good and you guys like it, I will be doing this more often. and thanks in advance)

Cheerleader Melissa vs Kid Kash

Cheerleader Melissa came out looking more determined as ever, and she wasn’t in her “happy demeanor” as she was before, she was waiting a long time for this match. Then the song “Bawatiba” by Kid Rock plays signaling the arrival of Kid Kash! Melissa wasted no time going after him and started to brawl with him, all thru the ramp way and thru the crowd! One would even forget that she was a woman the way that she put a beating on Kash! However, Kash would not be overshadowed by Melissa, but doing high flying moves like a Hurracanrana thru the table and a brainbuster! He even went so far to make Melissa tap out by locking in the “K.O.D.” (Kash on Delivery- Elevated Boston Crab), but Melissa wouldn’t tap and she made it to the ropes! He even tried to put her away with the double jump moonsault, but at the last possible moment, Melissa moved out of the way! A very bloody Melissa then went “Hardcore” on Kash when she delivered the “Curb Stomp” to Kash on the chair, making him bleed as well! But she wasn’t done! She did an IMPRESSIVE feat, but putting a table in the corner turnbuckle and executed a release German Suplex thru the table prompting not only a “Holy SH*T” chant but a “She’s HARDCORE!!” chant as well! She then did a cut throat gesture, and signaled the beginning of the end, when she called for the “High Spirits” (Kudoh Driver), when suddenly a fan ran into the ring…only...its wasn’t a fan, it was a nemesis from Melissa’s past, it was none other than..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/MsChif.jpg

MS. CHIF!!!!

She kicked Melissa in the gut and executed the Desecrator (Sciscored DDT) on the chairs, knocking Melissa out and Kash adds insult to injury as he delivers the Spike Piledriver on the chairs knocking Melissa out and winning the match.

ECW Tag Team Title Match

Rookie Veterans (Scorpio/Jerry Lynn) © Straight Thuggin (Eddie Kingston/B-Boy)

Before the match began, Kingston got on the microphone and said that they want to “up the ante” tonight. He said that not only the title should be on the line, but it should add the “special stipulation” that whichever team loses the match, they CANNOT team with each other while the winners are still the champions! Scorpio and Lynn agree and the match begins! It was a balance of aerial offense coming from Scorpio, the technical aspect from Jerry Lynn, versus the stiff puroresu style of both Kingston and B-Boy. The match could go either way, with Lynn hitting a beautiful Tornado DDT! The face team also did a double team move of Lynn hitting a Hurracanrana while Scorpio hitting a Senton Splash. However, the thugs did some pretty impressive moves as well! Kingston put Scorpio on his shoulders and B-Boy hit the Shining Wizard off the top rope! These 4 men gave it their all in the ring but the finish didn’t live up to the quality of the match. It seems that the Vets were going to pull out another victory when, B-Boy tried to hit a variation of the “Tombstone Piledriver” on Lynn, but Lynn reversed it and hit the Cradle Piledriver. While this was happening, Kingston hit a Blind Tag on his partner, unbeknownst to their opponents. Then Scorpio got tagged and did the 450! Teddy Long came down and distracted the referee, while Eddie Kingston entered the ring with a chair and hit Lynn with the chair knocking him out cold, and then he delivered a devastating Backdrop Driver on Scorpio, on the chair! Since Kingston was the legal man, the referee counted the pinfall and we have new Tag Team Champions! After the match, Long came into the ring and had a Diamond Chain for both B-Boy and Kingston, signifying that they are the newest members of the “Playa’s Club”!

Nick Dinsmores Open Challenge

Dinsmore is furious at the way that he’s been treated here in ECW and he recently revealed to everyone that he has signed a contract with Ring of Honor, much to the hatred and chagrin of the fans.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/SpikeDudley3.jpg

Suddenly, “Highway to Hell” begins to play and Little Spike Dudley comes down to the ring and Dinsmore starts to laugh and insult the little guy. Spike SLAPS Dinsmore as hard as possible and it looks like we have a match…

Nick Dinsmore vs. Little Spike Dudley

Even though that Dinsmore has a size and technical advantage over Spike, Spike didn’t give up! In fact, Spike wasn’t fighting for himself he was fighting for all of ECW, since Dinsmore had blatantly disrespected it. Spike would do quick like moves such as the DDT, and running double stomp to Dinsmore in the corner. But this burst of offense from Spike wouldn’t last. Like all of Spike’s opponents, they would toy with the smaller wrestler, where he had plenty of times to pin Dudley, but he let him up, like Aries did 2 weeks ago. The finish came when Dinsmore tried to get Dudley to submit when he had him locked in a “surfboard” submission, which Dudley got to the ropes. Dinsmore tried to then finish him off with a German Suplex, but Spike stomped on this foot, to release the hold and wound up executing the “Acid Drop” for the win! Dinsmore is once again irate for his losing streak.

A Double” Austin Aries vs. “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson

This match was clearly years in the making, and it spanned two different wrestling promotions! Aries clearly had no respect for Danielson, because when the match began he spat in Danielson’s face! Both men were technically sound and they took to the air when they needed to! Danielson was hitting moves like the Roaring Elbow and the Running Enziguri kick. Aries wasn’t going to be out done, as he was hitting moves like the Death Valley Driver on the Apron, the Pendulum Elbow drop and a running drop kick to Danielson while he was in the corner! Danielson got his share of revenge, when he would on two separate occasions, locking Aries in the “Cattle Mutilation” and then in the “Crossface”, but to Aries credit, he didn’t tap! Aries would return the favor locking in the “Fish Hook of Doom” and locking in a variation of a “Dragon Sleeper”! Both men would be bleeding and in pain but the fans would definitely get their money’s worth in this match! Aries took a short cut and went under the ring and pulled out a chain and wrapped it around his elbow and delivered the Discuss Elbow strike to Danielson, busting Danielson open again! Then Aries would deliver not one, but 3 Brainbusters! The 3rd one being on a chair, reminiscent of last week on Extreme Measures! But Aries wasn’t done. He then grabbed a table, and put the broken Danielson on it and he delivered a Beautiful 450 Splash on Danielson, thru the table destroying both Aries and Danielson for the win! After the match, Aries grabbed Danielson by the face and spat right on his face again. He grabbed the microphone, and says “All those years you were ducking me, I now know why, because you KNEW you couldn’t beat me, now GET THE F*CK out of my ring!” As he finished that statement, he delivered another Brainbuster for good measure!

The Samoan Gangsters (Ekmo/Kimo) vs. Logan Anthony Gates/??

The Samoans were talking trash to Gates in the ring saying that if he was smart, he wouldn’t come out to the ring, and he would just forfeit the match. The forced the referee to start making a count and the count got up to 7, when “The Name of the Game” by Crystal Method began play. Gates wasn’t in his wrestling gear, he was in street clothes, and he even wore the bandana that his tag team partner, Shad wore in their matches. Gates tried to take both of them on using whatever weapons he brought down in the ring in his duffel bag. He even bought out some nunchuku’s beating on both Kimo and Ekmo, even doing a rolling Neckbreaker on Kimo! But eventually the numbers game would get the best of Gates as they double teamed him! Kimo started to yell, “YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN THE BACK!!” Ekmo delivered the 3S on Gates, but shockingly, HE KICKED OUT!! The picked him up and Kimo was about to do the “Samoan Driver” when suddenly, “screaming”, and then “Natural Born Killaz” by Ice Cube and Dr. Dre started to play, and both Kimo and Ekmo started to look towards the ramp way as Gates started to smiling, and laugh hysterically bleeding!!

Styles: OH MY GOD…..its….NEW JACK!!!???

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/NewJack2.jpg

Gertner: “They let this man out of jail??!? Last I remember, he was in jail for beating up a guy in a REST HOME or something?”

New Jack came out in “Department of Corrections” jumpsuit with his shopping cart full of weapons! Kimo tried to attack New Jack first, but he got beaten by crutches for his trouble! Ekmo tried to help but Jack hit him with Crutches also and he went into his shopping cart and tossed a guitar to Gates. Gates tapped Ekmo on the shoulder and got his attention! He blasted him with the guitar! The tide began to go in Jack’s and Gates favor! Kimo even tried to run away, but Shad came down to the ring, and started to beat on him with one of his crutches!! Jack wasn’t done, he pulled out a blade and started to cut on both Ekmo and Kimo, while Gates got a chair and put Kimo’s ankle in it, and stomping down on it, and then did the same to Ekmo! The finish of the match came when both New Jack and Gates got two more guitars and blasted them both! As Jack was about to leave the ring, Gates stopped him and shook his head no…wording the words “We are NOT DONE”. They went to the ring, grabbed two tables and put Kimo and Ekmo on them. New Jack got some rope and tied them both down on the tables, while Gates got not only one, but two 10 foot ladders from underneath the ring! Gates went up first to the top of the ladder and delivered the PLEASE DON’T DIE Shooting Star Press off of the top of the Ladder on Kimo!!! Prompting a Holy Sh*t chant! New Jack went up next, and Gates thru a chair up to him and the crowd at this point is going NUTS!! Jack delivered the “187” Elbow Chair Drop thru the table as both men pinned the Samoan Gangstas! The crowd is going nuts for the return of NEW JACK!!!

The Damaja vs. The Sandman

This is a return match, as both men have fought before. And each time, it was intense than the last. Damaja has been going thru his win streak beating everyone who comes into his path. The Sandman at the beginning of the match came after Damaja fast and furiously, but as time went on, the match slowly went into Damaja’s favor, with Sandman visibly tiring during the match! The finish came when Sandman went on the top rope and tried for a “Rolling Rock” Senton, but the Damaja got on the top rope with Sandman and fought with him on the top rope delivering a Top Rope Brain Damage (Choke Bomb) for the win!

Chavo Guererro vs Ron Killings

This was Killings’ debut match here in ECW versus the departing Chavo Guererro. This match definitely brought up the mood of the crowd, over the last match, which kind of brought the crowds mood down. Killings didn’t do the Rapper Gimmick like he did in WWE and TNA (thank god), instead this time he is doing the Street Fighter gimmick. It was clearly a back and forth match, with the finish ending with Ron Killings hitting the Truth Or Consequences for the win. After the match, Chavo confirmed that this would be his last match in ECW, and that he thanked the fans for having his back thru thick and thin. The crowd a standing ovation as he walked towards the back.

ECW Title #1 Contender Match

“The Japanese Buzzsaw” Yoshihiro Tajiri w/Dawn Marie vs "The Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam w/ Bill Alfonso

Both of these men are no stranger to each other, and as the match began both men started to do martial arts moves versus each other, doing hold for hold and counter for counter! RVD tried for a spin kick, which Tajiri ducked and Tajiri immediately tried to return the favor! The two men tried to size each other up, and RVD got the best of Tajiri with a clothesline and a forearm shot, followed by a round house kick, leading up to the Rolling Thunder, but only for a 1 count! Tajiri had his share of offense, hitting a bridging German Suplex and the Handspring Elbow! Things started to get extreme, when RVD hit the Van Daminator, on Tajiri, but Tajiri would kick out! Tajiri would employ different kicks to drop RVD down to his knees, which set up Tajiri to hit the Shining Wizard! RVD tried to hit the 5 Star Frog Splash which Tajiri moved out of the way! But RVD countered the Brainbuster from Tajiri and delivered a nasty looking Reverse Suplex on Tajiri! Tajiri even went so far as to do his OWN version of the Van Daminator on Van Dam! The finish came when RVD hit the Van Daminator, the Spinning Leg Drop (with a chair over Tajiri) and two 5 Star Frog Splashes to win the match! After the match, RVD shook hands with Tajiri as a sign of respect.

ECW T.V. Title Match

Shane Helms w/Ron Killings vs. Rico Dinero © w/Teddy Long

Shane attacked Dinero immediately before the introductions were even made, Helms got the pre-emptive strike in and started working over Dinero, doing a series of flashy, quick cruiserweight moves and tried to finish off Dinero quickly, but that would not come to pass, even though Dinero has been dealing with exhaustion issues as of late. Helms did several of his signature moves like the Nightmare on Helms Street, and the “Overcast” Neckbreaker! Teddy Long made his presence felt distracting Helms, which that was the opportunity that Dinero needed. He hit a low blow on Helms, and started attacking both Helms’ neck and back. He hit such moves as the STO, the German Suplex, and the “Outer Limitz” Elevated Elbow. The finish came Dinero tried to go for the Dinero Express on Helms and he hit it, but Helms kicked out when he tried to pin him. Frustrated, Dinero tried to him with it again, only this time, he had a chair and held it, but when he tried it this time, Helms moved out the way! And the tide turned in Helms’ favor when he got his second wind and started doing a flurry of offensive moves just a Northern Lights Suplex and the Superkick! Helms then waited for Dinero to get up and hit the Shining Wizard, which Dinero ducked, but Helms went around and hit it again, only it was in the back of Dinero’s head knocking him out cold and out of the ring! Knowing that he could not win the title due to count out or DQ, Helms went out after Dinero. Long went to go and protect Dinero, which Helms was going to strike him, then B-Boy and Eddie Kingston, the newest members of the Playa’s Club came out to aid both Dinero and Long went after Helms and started to brawl with him, but the equalizer, Ron Killings did a top rope splash on all of them outside!! Killings fought off both Kingston and B-Boy with chairs to the back, once again leaving Helms’ and a very groggy Dinero. After Helms went for a pin, Dinero kicked out at the very last second. Helms called for the Verterbreaker, when Long came down with a chair and damaged Helms. Since this was a title match, the referee is very relaxed and the match will not end in a DQ. Ron Killings came down to the ring and took out Long with a Lariat. Killings held up Dinero and Helms delivered DAMAGING chair shot one Dinero, busting him open and making him bleed! Helms was about to do the Verterbreaker on him, but Killings wanted to do a chair shot of his own, so Helms held up Dinero and out of sheer instinct Dinero kicked his feet up, having the chair blasted back in his face! Killings blindly tried to hit Dinero with the chair, but Dinero ducked and hit Helms instead! Dinero dropkicked Killings to the outside and hit the “Near Death Experience” on Helms on the chair for the win and the pinfall!! After the match Killings chased both a bloody Dinero and Long away, with the chair. And he tried to apologize to Helms as they showed on the Replay, that it was a legitimate mistake! Helms realized that it was truly a mistake and that the two men shake hands and hug in the ring! Killings raises Helms arm in the air, when suddenly Killings hits Helms with a Lariat! Killings starts to stomp away on Helms! All of a sudden all of the Playa’s Club (except Antonio Banks) comes down to the ring and Dinero looks confused while Long knew all along that Killings was going to turn! They all do their finishers on Helms (Backfist from Kingston, the California Special from B-Boy, and Near Death Experience on the chair) and Killings does his patented Axe Kick on Helms, busting him open! Now there are 5 members in Playa’s Club since they have masterminded screwing over Shane Helms!

Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match

Stipulation: Loser Leaves ECW!!!

“The Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer vs. “The Outlaw” Tyler Douglas

No one has made more of an impact in a short time than Tyler Douglas. He has made Tommy Dreamer’s life a living hell, and Douglas said that his mission was none other than to destroy the legacy of Tommy Dreamer! And he did just that. First, he took out his chances of being ECW Champion. Then, he made him lose a No DQ match, and then the unthinkable he put his wife in the hospital when Douglas did the D.O.A. on her. When Dreamer came out to the ring he immediately went after Douglas. Dreamer and Douglas feuded all over the arena and even went so far as the parking lot, despite the fact this was a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, and the only thing that was on a “ring” was a “pink slip”. The only way to win is the grab it, and sign it, citing the opponents release from the company. Dreamer attacked Douglas with everything he could put his hands one to include at one point, a CASH REGISTER!! (WTF?) After 8 minutes, they finally got back in the ring and brawled. Douglas took a chair and started to work on Dreamers arm and neck, and even at one point dislocated Dreamers shoulder!! Dreamer would fight out of it though, when out of nowhere, he would put in the Dreamer DDT! Dreamer would go for the ladder and climb up, but Douglas would push the ladder over and Dreamer would get caught in the groin with the ropes. Douglas then would grab Dreamer from the ropes and execute a version of Dreamers finisher the “Douglas DDT!” right on a chair! But instead of going for the pink slip, he decide to make Dreamer suffer more! Douglas put his head in the ladder and began spinning it like Dreamer’s idol, Terry Funk used to do. But Dreamer would duck the ladder twice, and grabbed a chair and cracked Douglas in the head while it was still in the ladder!! Douglas and Dreamer started to bleed profusely, but the referee couldn’t stop it until someone got the pink slip! Dreamer and Douglas brawled back and forth until Douglas kicked Dreamer in the arm, which was already dislocated, and he hit the D.O.A. on Dreamer! Douglas who was clearly hurting, then a woman started running down to the ring with a Kendo Stick!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/UrbanSamurai227/Beulah.jpg

Joey: Is that Beulah!!?? She needs to get the hell out of there!!

She is sporting the neck brace which Douglas had broke her neck about a month ago! While Douglas is climbing the ladder she started hitting Douglas as hard as she could and that got the attention of the Outlaw. The Outlaw swatted the Kendo Stick out of her hands and started to grab her hair, when she kicked him in the groin, which doubled him over and she delivered a DDT of her own! After she did the DDT, she took off her neck brace and flipped him the “bird”! The finish of the match came when both Douglas and Dreamer tried to fight on the top rope and down below outside the ring there was a ladder on a table! Beulah must have been feeling “hardcore” because she did something that ECW hasn’t done since the Dudley’s were here. She pulled out a can of Gasoline and poured it over the table with the ladder on it! She set it ablaze, which the crowd started chanting HOLY SH*T! Douglas tried to do the D.O.A. again, but Dreamer fought out if it. Dreamer tried to do the Dreamer Driver, but he fought out it as well! Beulah once again hit Douglas with the Kendo Stick, which Dreamer set Douglas up for his new finisher, “the Bad DREAMS” (a Powerbomb turned into a Diamond Cutter in midair) into the flaming table/ladder below!

Styles: OH MY GOD!!!! THIER DEAD!! THE’RE BOTH DEAD!!

Dreamer and Douglas were both set ablaze and had to be put out with extinguishers. Douglas clearly took the worst of this, but Dreamer was no better. And the match STILL CONTINUED!! Beulah helped her husband up and helped him up the ladder, which he grabbed the pink slip! Douglas came to and Beulah tried to stop him, but she was slapped for his trouble! Dreamer saw this and jumped down from the ladder! Dreamer then did Douglas’s own finisher the D.O.A. on Douglas. And then did the Dreamer Driver on a Ladder plat formed by 2 chairs! He grabbed a pen, and put the tip on Douglas’s open wounds and signed the Pink Slip in BLOOD, there by winning the match and forcing Tyler Douglas to leave ECW!

ECW Title Match

Last Man Standing

“The Miami MVP” Antonio Banks vs "The Belfast Brawler" Dave Finlay

These two men were introduced in the ring, and besides the fact that all the chaos had ensued earlier, these two would not go out and destroy each other before the introductions were made. So the rules where in this match, a person who didn’t answer the 10 count would lose the match, no matter inside or outside of the ring! And it went down just like that, they brawled everywhere! And both men took each other BEYOND their limits. The first count went when Finlay did a chair shot on Banks’ knee, when Banks tried to do a Drive By Kick and missed and got his knee caught in between a door, which Finlay closed on it! Banks at this point can barely walk, but he still gutted out the match! He even went so far to tell Teddy Long to stay back and sent him to the back, because he wanted to “win” the match on his own. Banks would have a measure of revenge when he hit the U D.I.E. IN M.I.A. chokebreaker on Finlay! But he got up as well. Banks, despite not being able to walk very good, he hit Finlay with a chair shot, and put him in the corner turnbuckle, and put a chair over his face and hit the Drive By Kick busting Finlay open again! But that took as much out Banks than it did on Finlay! Finlay also did the Celtic Crash off the top rope on Banks thru a table! Miraculously, using the ropes to get up, he beat the ten count! Bloody and bleeding, Finlay shook his head in disbelief that he couldn’t believe that Banks is still standing. And even the crowd is getting behind Banks, despite he was a heel! Banks began to fight Finlay, even though he could barely stand up! Finlay tried to go for a clothesline, but Banks ducked it and did two rolling German Suplexes and for the third, he did a forward Flapjack Driver! The finish of the match was controversial as it could get. Banks tried to hit Finlay with the Spinesplitta Tombstone Piledriver, but Finlay reversed into a Piledriver of his own, but when Banks tried to get out of it, he inadvertently kicked the referee knocking him out! Finlay delivered the Piledriver on the chair but there was no referee to count it! Then with both Banks and the referee out, the Playa’s Club start to come out and attack Finlay in a “wolf pack” fashion! The Tag Team champions did their finisher on Finlay (The Backdrop driver from Kingston, and Shining Wizard from B-Boy), then the T.V. Champion, Rico Dinero did the Near Death Experience on Finlay! And as Finlay was about to get up, Ron Killings was about to do the Axe Kick but Shane Helms dropped everyone with Chair shots to the face, including Teddy Long! All 5 Men were laid out in the ring and as the referee began to regain consciousness, he saw both Banks and Finlay on the ground, so he began to count for both men but at 9, both men barely got up, but they were up! Finlay and Banks fought back and forth, and Finlay went for the bad leg again, and tried for the Celtic Crash once again, but Banks countered and did a Reverse DDT! With his last bit of strength, he did the running Tombstone Piledriver known as the “SPINESPLITTA” on the chair! But that hurt his knee as well! When the referee got down counting, Banks could barely get up, but he did with help from the ropes again. Whereas Finlay, he couldn’t answer the 10 count, giving Banks the victory and the title once again! This was a historic night in the making, where all the members of Playa’s Club now hold all of the titles in ECW!!!

This is a really good diary bro. Just one note on presentation (which has drawn me from my statue of perpetual lurking!), you occasionally get the wrestlers on the wrong side under the pictures, which, though not really a problem wrestling fans here, is a little confusing. It's a relatively easy fix and one that'll make your whole product look a lot slicker - it's improved a lot over the last couple of shows anyway and sorting this out is just another step to making it even better :)

-Sabu got the win, as he should but just being in the ring with a vet like Sabu, will help the rookie so much.

-Glad to see Rave get a big win and kudos for good continunity by having Shad play up to the injury.

-The Kash/Melissa feud is coming along really well. The addition of MsChif should add some extra spice to it.

-You needed some new champs and a solid heel tag team standing atop the rankings to freshen things up. Straight Thuggin w/T-Lo fits that bill nicely :)

-Always loved Spike. That was awesomely hilarious how that traitor went out!

-Awesome match between two great talents. The right man went over but if you can ever get Am Drag back, this feud would be f'n awesome!

-Shad is a great big guy but New Jack is an ECW orignal and you two will make such a fun tag team!

-Damaja continuing his hot streak is a good move. If he stays loyal, I see him moving up the card soon.

-Glad Chavo went out looking strong, the man deserved to. Killings starting off with a win, is a good move to.

-Glad to see RVD back in the title hunt. Glad to see Taijiri wasn't bitched out though.

-Damn that was an awesome match! Love Dreamers new finisher btw. Where could he possibly go from here with Douglas going though?

-Shame that Finlay had to drop the belt but hell, he got a huge credibility boost from just being champion. Anyway, looking to the future, RVD vs Banks will be a huge money feud for you!

I appreciate the feedback. I am not going to lie to you. This diary might have seen its last days here, like you and I talked about. but if for some reason it sticks around, couple things you can know for sure.

1. I have HUGE plans for Aries.

2. The Kash/Melissa fued is only just begining. And with the addition of Ms. Chif, can you say possible ECW/Shimmer Alliance?

3. Your right about RVD. He needed this win. But, will he win the title? Time will tell. Besides **possible spoiler** the ECW Title Might change hands. and you wont believe it will be to.

4. Damaja is Leaving too :(

5. Killings + Straight Thuggin= Freebird Rule (need I say more?)

6. I have plans for Dreamer, I mean he had a awesome fued with Douglas, and Douglas should be THANKING me, now that hes working in ROH.

7. The Playa's Club= Possibly the ECW's version of the 4 Horsemen? MAYBE?

8. The Finlay/Banks fued isnt over. If I have my way it will go like the great fueds in the past like Steamboat/Flair, Austin/Rock, and Cena/Orton. (ok scratch that last one ;)

9. I am going to introduce a new character in this story. And you know him "VERY WELL".

and

10. ROH will fall.

Like I said, if I "feel" I should continue this diary here. Thats what you can expect. Kinda like a coming attractions of sorts. But I thank you for putting your 2 cents into this. And by the way. you need to name new title. Since you won that contest.

“Origins”

The day after Barely Legal

11:45 PM

Synopsis: After another successful booking of Barely Legal, ECW was riding high on a wave of momentum. But this would soon cause more problems than success. You see, Paul Heyman was not at the booking meeting for Barely Legal. In fact, he hasn’t been seen since the revelation that 6 of his top guys were “stolen” by rival promotion, Ring of Honor. Anthony was met by admiration and scrutiny from the ECW lockeroom. Admiration, due to the fact that he led the roster to another successful show, without the presence of the “father of hardcore”, but at the same time, he was met with scrutiny due to the fact that many felt that he was trying to take ECW from under Paul, and claim it for his own. Logan also was legitimately worried about Paul. It’s one thing for Paul to be gone a day at the most without contacting his business partner, but he hasn’t been seen or heard from since before Extreme Measures episode VII booking meeting! Anthony was hoping that Paul didn’t do anything stupid. Sadly, Anthony’s prayers were NOT answered.

Anthony came to Paul’s house in disarray, and clearly Paul was passed out in a drunken stupor almost in his own vomit. The DVD “The Rise and Fall of ECW” was playing in his living room, set to repeat.

Anthony: “Paul….damn…”

After getting Paul up and on the couch, Anthony cleaned up his living room, and cut off the DVD. Instead he pulled out his laptop and started to do some work.

9:30 AM

Paul was woken up by the penetrating smells of strong Coffee, and his television blasting. Logan was up all night, watching DVD’s, tapes of possible future talent for ECW, as well as scouring the net on which the next “big thing” from the Indy’s was going to be. Paul woke up in his usual groggy manner.

Logan: Good morning Paul.

Paul: *$@*#, Anthony? What the HELL your doing in my house?

Logan: Good morning to you too. I hope you don’t mind if I took the liberty of making coffee, cleaning your place, and doing some work. And by the way you should thank me, if you would have rolled over you would have ended up on one of those memorial video on a WWE show, getting the 10 bell salute.

Paul: Thanks.

Logan: Why did you do this? I mean where is your wife and kids?

Paul: I sent them away. I didn’t want them to see me like this.

Logan: What the hell happen that night? I mean first you hear the news, that we are losing some of our top talent, and then you just start trippin and then I don’t hear from you for almost 2 weeks! I had to book Barely Legal on my own!

Heyman: I saw that. And by the way, you did a good job. I didn’t know that you hired Killings only to turn on Helms and make the Playa’s Club even stronger, than it was.

Logan: Did you watch it Drunk or Sober?

Heyman: Does it matter? I said it was a good job. But to be honest with you, I am kind of glad that you came by, I wanted to talk to you about something.

Logan: …..

Heyman: I want you to take over ownership of ECW.

Logan: What the HELL? NO Paul! I am not going to do that. Why the hell you wanna do something like that?

Heyman: Do you know how it feels to have something you created, be destroyed and picked apart before your very eyes? That’s what WCW and WWE did to me! At first WWE didn’t do it as much. But WCW was blatant about stealing my talent and my ideas and storylines! And then they come up with it like it was their own! It was kind of like how Steve Jobs felt when Bill Gates pretty much stole the “apple computer” idea and morphed it into Windows! And then WWE goes and makes my namesake, my life, and turns it into a mockery of itself. WWECW was none other than a mockery of its former self! I sold ECW to the devil and didn’t even know what I was doing until it was too late.

Logan: I understand that, but it’s the past. What does that have to do with now?

Heyman: I fell into a deep depression, due to the fact after ECW was getting off the ground again and was becoming successful, the same events were happening again. I couldn’t have this happen to me again. But you took care of ECW and the guys, and we are still standing. That’s why I feel you should be the PERMENANT leader of ECW.

Logan: Look, the thing with ROH, it was bound to happen. If it wasn’t ROH, it would have been a countless number of enemies. You need to understand, when I came into partnership with you, I came into this with my eyes WIDE open. And to answer your question, I DO know what it feels like to have a business, and have it taken over and picked apart and virtually destroyed in front of your very eyes! Because the same thing happened to my father.

Heyman starts to listen to Anthony as he reveals on who he "really" is….

Logan: My father was a businessman, a local businessman in the neighborhood where I was from, and when I was growing up, I looked up to him. He was my hero. He taught me such values as respect, hard work and sacrifice. Well, one day a big corporation did a “sweet heart” deal to him. Start giving him gifts and made promises that seemed too good to be true. Well after they got what they wanted from my father, the pretty much shut him out, and kicked him to the curb. My mother left him shortly after that, but yet I stayed by his side. One day, I came home from High School, only to find he committed suicide. He couldn’t deal with the fact that he “failed”.

Paul: Hey, I am sorry.

Logan: You didn’t know, but I am not done. So after my father’s funeral, I found out that he had life insurance and he named me sole beneficiary, $3 million dollars, but he left specific instructions that I couldn’t have access to that money until I was 21 years old if I wasn’t attending college, and 18 if I was attending. So I put my money in investments and let it grow. Now a few years later, and I am a millionaire, but I have did a lot of things with my life. I joined the Army and finish college with a degree in business without touching that money. Now you asked what does this have to do with you and ECW. It’s simple; I grew up on ECW and wrestling in general. When I saw what McMahon and the others did to you, I figure I could give you the help, that my father WASN’T given.

Paul: Interesting, but why would you wrestle if you were a millionaire?

Logan: I did it on my free time; I always knew that I would open my promotion sooner or later. And besides, in order for you to UNDERSTAND the business, you have to be PART of it. , One way or another.

Paul: Very True. This is why I am choosing you as my successor”.

Logan: I can’t. I can't be your successor. I mean I can’t run ECW! I mean you are synonymous with ECW! How would it look for a guy to come out of nowhere to become ECW Owner?

Paul: You have been virtually running it anyway! Logan you don’t get it yet do you? ECW is NOT just one man! I am not ECW, nor is RVD, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer or etc. ECW is a Revolution. It’s supposed to be about a band of “outsiders”, misfits, and pretty much people that the higher promotions feel that they couldn’t make a draw and we make them stars! I mean like Holly and Basham (Tyler Douglas and Damaja), take them two for example. You made them two Stars!! Douglas had an awesome feud with Dreamer, and you made Damaja seem like an unstoppable monster! ECW is being reborn because of you. If anyone should take over running it, it should be you.

Logan: I can’t Paul. We made agreement, we are partners 50/50. Now if you want, you can take a leave of absence and I will take over until you return, but I will not assume total control of ECW.

Heyman: So noted.

Logan: So how long are you going to be gone?

Heyman: Until I feel it’s time for me to return. But until I do, ECW is under your control. Take care of it, and I am sure you will be fine.

As Logan begins to get up, he packs up his laptop and gets ready to leave…

Logan: Well Paul, I need to get ready to go, I haven’t slept yet, and I have a staff meeting in a few days, I will keep you in touch with the operations just to keep you in the loop. You sure you will be ok?

Paul: I will be fine, you’re in charge now….

Paul looked as his “protégé” walked away, and he suddenly felt better about the future of his “creation”, being handled by the man he groomed to take over it.

To Be Continued.

"The Changing of the Guard"

2 Days after Barely Legal, the night before of Extreme Measures VIII

Synopsis: After Paul Heyman gave Logan Anthony the “ball” so to speak, on running the day to day operations in ECW. Anthony would not take the ownership position, but he would run the company while Paul was on hiatus. Later on that day, Anthony was bombarded with even more offers to take his talent away; again the offer was made by Ring of Honor. Apparently, they were not done, raping and pillaging his roster, this time they were going after more of my key roster, which was bad enough because Doug Basham (aka Tyler Douglas) already left the promotion to go to ROH, after putting Tommy Dreamer over in a sensational feud, pity it couldn’t go any further. Now they were going after Rene Rougeau, the Damaja (Danny Holly), Ekmo (Umaga) and the former ECW Champion, Dave Finlay. And as if a matter wasn’t worse, people were beginning to think that Anthony “stole” ECW from out under Paul’s nose. It was time to draw the line in the sand and let people know what was what.

The night before the show, he called a companywide staff meeting of everyone who was employed there, it didn’t matter if the person was a Main Evener, or if they set up the ring, he needed to let everyone know what the deal was. Everyone was in the back conference room at the new House of Hardcore Arena.

Logan: First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone for showing up today on your day off. There are a couple of things that need to be addressed. First of all, Paul Heyman is going on a leave of absence. It is unknown how long he is taking a hiatus for, but as of right now until he returns, I am in charge. All decisions, problems, issues and complaint go thru me!

As expected, everyone was shocked and surprised. Then Sylvain Greiner, one of the biggest critics of Logan Anthony, decided he wanted to speak up…

Greiner: “So basically we supposed to be following YOU now? I mean how do we know that Paul took a hiatus and you just didn’t do a “power play” and buy him out? And what if we DON’T want to follow you?

The crowd was a little restless, some people agreed with Greiner. Most people at this point would have panicked at the thought of a locker room uprising. But not Logan Anthony…

Logan: Grenier, first of all, it’s no secret that you have an issue with me, so let’s clear the air, RIGHT NOW. If you or anyone has a problem with how I run things here, you are welcome TO LEAVE! And according to some of you, you are exercising that option right now, because I am not going to say ANY names but some of you have been approached by “other promotions”. And if you don’t pull your weight in the ring, you won’t have to wait until you are ready to leave, you will be ASKED to leave ECW. Second of all, who do I think I am? Last I checked, I am Logan Xavier Anthony and I am co-owner of ECW! And third, you don’t have to like me, but I don’t have any reason to LIE. Heyman is on personal hiatus, so I am taking over his spot until he returns, and Tommy Dreamer will be filling my spot for the booking team. Look, I will tell you guys this like I said when I first started this, if you remain LOYAL and do your best here in ECW, you will be rewarded, that I promise you. This brings me to a couple of other things.

Sophie begins to pass around a clipboard to all of the staff in the room, which they are requested to sign.

Logan: What you all have just signed is a contract consenting that all of you will be subject to RANDOM Drug testing. For “Hard Drugs” it’s simple, 3 strikes, YOU’RE GONE. Plain and simple. I don’t care who you are. If you are holding a title and you fail a drug test, you will DROP the title. Even if you are a tag team, your partner will have to suffer your mistakes. Soft Drugs, I am a little bit lenient, but not much, it’s on a case by case basis. Another issue I want to address is ALTERCATIONS. Over the past few months, I have witness altercations, by the same people over and over again. Well today, that ENDS! If I hear of any altercations and I find out who started it, that person will be punished, depending on what has happened. If incidents occur by the same person, I can and will terminate them. Listen people, this is a new day in ECW. I am not trying to change it to where you all have to wear suits to work or anything like that, but I want to make this professional. If we are going to be the Number 1 promotion in the world, we need to act like it. Now think of what I said guys, and have a nice day. All booking team members please stay behind.

All of the staff, except for the booking team where slowly filtering out of the room, some people where upset about what they heard, others were indifferent. Tommy Dreamer, Marc Le Grizzly, Roddy Piper and Sophie were the only ones that remained in the room.

Logan: Ok, again, thank you for attending but let’s get down to business. We already lost Tyler Douglas, and over the next few days we are going to lose Shad Gaspard, Bryan Danielson, Chavo Guererro and Nick Dinsmore. And to make matters worse, ROH has made offers to Fatu, Holly (Damaja), Rougeau and Finlay.

Piper: You got to admit they are playing hardball.

Logan: No doubt. Now I think we may be able to keep Finlay for a little while longer promise him another title reign with his feud with Banks. But the rest of them, they aren’t staying without a title shot and the only one who was even close, maybe…was Holly.

Dreamer: Ok, so who can we move into the Main Event scene?

Sophie: Well according to this, we have Rico Dinero, who is getting over, even more so with the T.V. title, he might have to drop it to someone soon. Also, Shane Helms, Spike Dudley, and of course, you Dreamer.

Dreamer: Me?

Logan: What did you expect? You had an awesome feud with Douglas, and with him putting you over, that just solidified your spot in the Main Event! In fact you might have the strap on you….

Dreamer: Logan, you know how I feel about that…

Logan: Well we will burn that bridge when we get to it. Another problem we have is not enough “face” tag teams. I mean with Rookie Legends “kind of” on the shelf, the only established face tag team is Sabu and Spike, and maybe New Jack and I. I haven’t decided if New Jack and I are going to be established or not. Any ideas on which we could create?

Le Grizzly: We could possibly turn the Backseat Boyz. I mean have them feud with a heel team over the title. They have experience and I know Trent (Acid) has the charisma to pull it off.

Logan: Ok, but if we do that, we need to make the Tag Team Titles a Floating Title. Speaking of title, I am now introducing the ECW Internet Title.

Piper: Paul knows about this?

Logan: Paul and only we in this room knows about this title. This title will focus on the up and coming Indy wrestling stars that wrestle here.

Le Grizzly: So why make a new title?

Sophie: Because the T.V. title is one echelon below the ECW Title and these guys are not over enough to claim it. So we want a title to put their name “on the map” so to speak.

Logan: In addition to that, I want to have a 2 day tournament, called “Only the Strong” tournament.

Le Grizzly: “Let me guess, it will grant a title shot right?”

Logan: “If that what the winner wants, than yes. Look, it’s not like the “E’s” Money in the Bank, its better. You see the Money in the Bank matches, focuses on high spots and all that stuff, but what I want to focus on is the wrestler themselves. They don’t have to hit a high spot or break their DAMN necks to get over with the crowd! Think of it as a combination of the TPI (Ted Petty Invitational) held by IWA: MS and the “Best of the Best” tournament held by our rivals, CZW. It will take place over two nights. I haven’t ironed out the details, but the tournament will not be for a while anyway.

Dreamer: What’s the prize?

Logan: One wish. If they wanna run the promotion for a show, they can. If they wanna title shot, they can. But we aint gonna do that WWE Bullsh*t where we wait for the match to be done, and then they CASH IT IN! No, we are ECW! If they wanna title, they EARN it, it doesn’t get handed to them. That crap sickens me, every time I see it!

Dreamer: Good Point… so is there any other business?

Logan: One more, next week, they are going to be scheduling T.V. show slots. I have an idea. If we can’t get on a network that is shown nationwide, I figure that we can do a “test run” and perform 3 PPVs a month.

Piper: Why 3?

Logan: We can perform a PPV Show the 1st and 3rd week, and have the big PPV on the 4th week, which will give our talents exposure.

Le Grizzly: That’s 7 Shows a month!

Logan: Congratulations, you can count! Very Good! Yes its 7 Shows! (Imitating the “Count” from Sesame Street”). Look, bottom line, ROH is killing us with popularity! And you people better realize, that WWE, TNA and WCW are NOT far behind. We have lost, or losing about 10 of our top guys in one month alone, from just one promotion! What do you THINK is going to happen if they hit us ALL AT ONCE? Look bottom line, we need to make National, and we need to do it fast! Otherwise, what happen this month is going to keep happening, over and over and over again! It’s at this point, that I don’t even care if we run 1 or 100 shows a month! My goal is simple, to make ECW the #1 Wrestling Promotion in America, if not the WORLD! Now if there are no questions, you guys get some rest, I have a show to book, and we have a show to run tomorrow!

Extreme Measures VIII: “Still Standing”

Synopsis: After the events of Barely Legal, the new force known as The Playa$ Club had ran amok in ECW, and they had won every title in ECW. Antonio Banks regained the ECW Title in a Last Man Standing Match, Rico Dinero retained the T.V. Title title, after revealing that Shane Helms ‘backup’ in Ron Killings was with the “Club” the whole time, being the 4th member of the club. Also there were new tag team champions in Straight Thuggin consisting of B-Boy and Eddie Kingston over the former tag team champions, Scorpio and Jerry Lynn, and since the former champions added the stipulation that the loser can’t challenge for the Tag Team Championships while the winners currently hold them! Now, Paul Heyman has promised that all of the members of the Playa’$ Club will pay, one way or another!

Austin Aries vs Danny Havoc

Aries has been coming out like a monster as of late! He has defeated such names as James Gibson and Bryan Danielson, both being former World Champions. He has made his intentions completely clear that he wants to make an impact in ECW and wants to be in title contention in the near future, but he feels that’s he not taken “seriously” after his loss to Spike Dudley in his debut at Extreme Measures VI! Now, Aries is going to try and continue to make his “presence felt” after he goes after Iowa’s own Hardcore Icon, Danny Havoc!

Ms. Chif w/Kid Kash vs Eddie Edwards

Speaking of making “presence felt”, Ms. Chif was the “ace in the hole” that Kid Kash was alluding to with his recent battle with Cheerleader Melissa. It was actually very smart for him to “employ” Ms. Chif, due to the wars that her and Melissa had back in Shimmer. Now Ms. Chif want to make her mark in ECW by going up against “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards!

Davey Richards vs Teddy Hart

½ of the new ECW Tag Team, the Roughnecks, Davey Richards had made a very promising debut back at Extreme Measures V, defeating Teddy Hart and Danny Havoc. It’s ironic that Richards will be facing the very man who he who he pinned, Teddy Hart. Hart has been a very solid performer as of late, but only had a record of 2-4, only having a Tag Team pinfall with James Gibson and a singles victory over Ray Gonzales. This a important match between both of these men!

“The Iceman” Nick Dinsmore vs Necro Butcher

So the Necro Butcher made his debut against two of ECW’s resident legends, Sabu and the Sandman! Despite not winning the triple threat match, he did make a “lasting” impression. The Iceman, has been known as ECW’s “Judas” , after revealing on the last PPV, that he signed with ECW rival, Ring of Honor. Now, in his final match, (in another twist of irony), he faces the very man who LEFT Ring of Honor to join ECW, NECRO BUTCHER!

2 Cold Scorpio vs Kid Kash w/ Ms. Chif

Kid Kash has been on a roll! After mentioning the situation, from earlier (with the Ms. Chif/Eddie Edwards match), Kid Kash now wants to break into the upper cards of the promotion. However, he has to get past Scorpio. Scorpio is trying to get back into his “winning” ways, after him and his partner, Jerry Lynn lost the Tag Team titles, to the newest Playa$ Club members, Straight Thuggin. But now, Scorpio has to go at it as a singles performer. Will Scorpio bounce back from his loss or will Kash continue to rise up the ranks, “Notoriously?”

L.S.D’s (Little, Suicidal, and Dangerous) vs Straight Thuggin

The new makeshift team of Sabu and Spike Dudley are now the punishment for Straight Thuggin! Thuggin just came off of a brutal match with the former Tag Team Champions, the Rookie Veterans, and now they must face the two toughest guys in the businsess! Sabu having more “balls than brains” and being infamous for wresting despite being injured, and Spike Dudley, “the Giant Killer”, has racked up numerous and impressive wins over such big names as Kimo, Austin Aries and Nick Dinsmore! And as if B-Boy and Kingston hasn’t had enough problems, as punishment for their deceitful actions, Paul Heyman is making this match is for the Tag Team titles!

“American Dragon” Bryan Danielson vs Jimmy Rave

Bryan Danielson has performed great matches in ECW, which such names as The Miz, Super Crazy and Austin Aries, but like all good things, it comes to an end, as this is Bryan Danielson’s final match. Jimmy Rave has also has been making waves in ECW putting on good match vs. Black Tiger and a victory over Shad Gaspard! Will Rave pull out a victory against the Dragon? Or will Danielson have one more victory prior to his “Swan Song” departure?

The Damaja vs Yoshihiro Tajiri w/Dawn Marie

So the Damja has been destroying everyone in his path as of late, defeating such name as James Gibson, Black Tiger, Tommy Dreamer and even former ECW Champion, Rob Van Dam! He has went thru matches with such names as Super Crazy, and even former champions Dave Finlay and Rob Van Dam! His last match he lost a #1 Contenders match for the ECW Title, to Rob Van Dam, but it was such a good match that both men received a standing ovation! Rumor has it that whoever wins this match, would probably be in line for a title shot in the near future!

ECW Title Match

Antonio Banks w/Teddy Long vs “The Hurrincane” Shane Helms

This is part 2 of Heyman’s punishment against the Club! Since Antonio Banks retained the ECW Championship under ‘heinous’ means (even though Banks didn’t know that his group was involved in his match, because he was knocked out.) Helms was set in line to win the ECW T.V. Title but he was betrayed when it was revealed that Ron Killings was a member all along. Now as punishment, Banks now has to face a very enraged Shane Helms!

“The Belfast Brawler” Dave Finlay vs Ron “The Truth” Killings

Once again as “Heyman’s Punishment” to the Club for virtually stealing the PPV, and not only screwing Finlay out of retaining the ECW Title, but also screwing Helms out of the ECW T.V Title! So now Ron Killings has a bit of a “role reversal”, where he has to face the hard hitting former ECW Champion, Dave Finlay!

<O:p</O:p

Dark Match:

The Backseat Boyz (with “Donnie B”) defeated New Jack and L.A. Gates after defeating Gates with the “T-Gimmick”

Rating:

“M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross defeated Josh Abercrombie with the “Death From Above” Shooting Star Press for the win.

ECW Presents:

Extreme Measures, episode VIII: “Still Standing”

Before the show begins, we see all the members of the “Playa$ Club” coming down to the ring with their titles on their shoulders with the song “All I do is Win” by DJ Khaled playing thru out the arena. Teddy Long is heading up the group following the Tag Team Champions, B-Boy and Eddie Kingston, the Television Champion, Rico Dinero (which he was in crutches, due to the injuries sustained at the ppv) the self-appointed “enforcer” in Ron Killings and the “leader”, the ECW Champion, Antonio Bank$. They are being literally BOOOED out of the building, after the crowd starts to calm down Long begins to speak.

Long begins to run down the crowd saying that a month ago, people didn’t belive him when he had a plan to take over the promotion, and now he is doing just that with him and his group claiming all of the main titles in the promotion. Before Long can celebrate, Paul Heyman comes out and says that he may have “pulled a fast one” at Barely Legal, but that wasn’t going to happen twice, because tonight every single title is on the line!

Long and the rest of the Playa’s Club is far from happy in this announcement.

Match 1:

“A Double” Austin Aries vs Danny Havoc

This was a good solid opening match, with Aries looking really strong and continuing showing his dominance in ECW. He finished off Danny Havoc with Brainbuster and then the devasting 450 Splash for the win.

Winner: Austin Aries

Match 2:

Ms. Chif vs “Die Hard’ Eddie Edwards

Ms. Chif was definitely the heavy favorite in this match, especially since she was the deciding factor in Kid Kash’s win against his nemesis, Cheerleader Melissa at Barely Legal. Edwards didn’t want to hit her, but she had no problems hitting him. After the one sided offense, Eddie struck back and started to mount the offense against her! After mounting a suitable offense, he tried to finish her off with the “Die Hard” Cross legged fisherman buster, but Kid Kash got on the apron and distracted him! This was enough for Ms. Chif to spit “green mist” in his eyes and deliver the “Desecrator” for the win!

Winner: Ms. Chif

Match 3:

Davey Richards vs Teddy Hart

This match lifted the crowd as the ending could have went either way! Both men were very similar in styles, which both men were cruiserweights and could focus on submission moves, which both men has employed thru the match! The match was on the ground as well as in the air! And both men hit their variations of their finishers, the “Shooting Star Press”, but in the end, Teddy came up short, and Richards hit the DR Driver for the win.

Winner: Davey Richards

Match 4:

Nick Dinsmore w/ Don Callis vs Necro Butcher

Dinsmore is in a foul mood for the fact that he has been on a losing streak as of late, including an embarrassing loss to Spike Dudley at Barely Legal. He started to attack on Necro before he even got into the ring and began to beat on him savagely! Callis began to get on the microphone and said that Nick was going to take this match into his “element” and it was going to be a hardcore match! This was a huge mistake on his part, because Butcher took advantage of it, and started to savagely beat on Dinsmore the way which he is known for. The finish came when he executed a Tiger Driver on a chair in locked in the “Asiatic spike”, once again handing Dinsmore a defeat.

Winner: Necro Butcher

Match 5:

2 Cold Scorpio vs Kid Kash w/Ms. Chif

Before the match began, Kash started to antagonize the fans over the fact that Melissa is at home in California with an injured neck at the hands of him and Ms. Chif, and then he insulted Scorpio pretty much calling him “washed up”. Scorpio definitely didn’t seem that way, because he held his own against the much younger Kash. Both men took it to the air and too each other, and Chif tried to get involved, which turned the tide in his favor. The finish came when Kash tried to execute the “Money Maker” Piledriver, but Scorpio flipped it over into a pinfall, and Kash’s arms were locked for the 3 in a HUGE upset!

Winner: Scorpio

Match 6:

ECW Tag Team Title Match

L.S.D.’s (Spike Dudley and Sabu) vs Straight Thuggin © (Kingston and B-Boy)

It looked like it was going to be good match when suddenly, Kingston and B-Boy didn’t come to the ring alone, Rico Dinero and Teddy Long came down to do commentary on the match. It was pretty even during the match, until the champions started employing the basic heel tag team tactics, including isolating Spike from his partner. Kingston and B-Boy worked on Spike’s neck so much that even when B-Boy hit the “Cross Special Brainbuster”, everyone thought it would be over, but clearly they underestimated Spike. B-Boy then tried to go for the West Coast Driver, but Spike countered into a “Acid Drop”! Both made their respective tags and Sabu was going after both B-Boy and Kingston with a series of kamikaze moves involving the chair! (Since this was a championship match, there would be no DQ’s) the finish of the match took place where Sabu hit a Spiked DDT on Kingston and went up top to deliver a “Arabian Skullcrusher!”. But then Ron Killings came down and distracted Sabu, when from behind, Rico hit Sabu with one of his crutches! B-Boy then executed a picture perfect butterfly suplex off the top, and Kingston sealed the deal with a Backdrop Driver on the chair to retain!

Winners and Still ECW Tag Team Champions: Straight Thuggin

Match 7:

“American Dragon” Bryan Danielson vs Jimmy Rave

This was confirmed to be Danielson final match, and the crowd was sad to see him go, chanting “Please don’t go”. Rave offered him a handshake of respect, which Dragon accepted. Even though Rave was a heel, he didn’t really act like it in this case! Rave held his own against Danielson technically successfully employing counters against the Crossface and getting to the ropes when Danielson locked in the “Cattle Mutiliation”. The finish however came when Danielson tried for a running corner dropkick, which at the last minute, Rave moved out of the way! Rave then locked in the “Heel Hook” and drug Danielson to the middle of the ring and for the first time in a long time, caused Danielson to tap! After the match, Danielson received a standing ovation for his time at ECW.

Winner by Submission: Jimmy Rave.

Match 8:

The Damaja vs “The Japanese Buzzsaw” Tajiri w/Dawn Marie

The Damaja has been on a roll lately in ECW, he has been “steamrolling” over opponents, both newcomers and ECW Legends alike! Tajiri tried to show Damaja some respect, but that gesture was not returned, because Damaja kicked Tajiri in the face when he was bowing! Damaja was showing some very strong offense on Tajiri, and rightfully so, because if he wasn’t careful, Tajiri could pull a victory out of nowhere. Damaja would soon figure this out for himself because when he whipped Tajiri into the ropes, Tajiri countered with a Handspring Elbow smash, knocking Damaja down! Tajiri then started to beat on Damaja with the devastating “Tajiri Rush,” with his lightning fast barrage of punches of kicks. The finish came with Damaja getting the offense back by hitting a Chokebomb out of nowhere, but couldn’t get the pin. The he took Tajiri up on the rope for a superplex, and executed it, but Tajiri rolled thru and got the pinfall! Damaja is stunned and upset that Tajiri has just snapped Damaja’s undefeated streak!

Winner: Tajiri

Match 9:

ECW World Title Match

Antonio Bank$ © vs. Shane Helms

Before the match began he told Teddy Long to go to the back, and he “warned” everyone in the “club” not to interfere. Helms took it too Bank$ early in the match and showed a different much more “vicious” side to him, embracing the hardcore rules and using weapons to inflict pain on the ECW Champion. It was not known weather it was because this match was for the ECW Title, or was because Helms was blaming Bank$ for Dinero screwing him out of the T.V. Title. If the match was scored on points for violence, Helms would be the victor, but it took one mistake, and Bank$ capitalized on it. Helms tried to do the “Drive By Kick”, Bank$ finisher and a variation of his own, on him, but Bank$ countered and did a unique version of a backdrop on Helms. Bank$ started to bring out his vicious side into the match, including using the broken crutch that Dinero used earlier in the show and deleivered a Elbow Drop, to the groin! He then started to focus on the neck doing various chinlocks and cross faces to weaken it. Helms would get back in the fight and wound up hitting the Shining Wizard but only for a two when Bank$ put his foot on the ropes! Helms then climbed on the ropes and signaled for the “Overcast Neckbreaker”, when Killings started to walk down the ring and distract Helms. Once again, Bank$ did not know nor see Killings distracting Helms and he took advantage and hit the top rope “U D.I.E. in M.I.A.” Chokebreaker off the top rope for the win.

Winner and Still ECW Champion: Antonio Bank$

Match 10:

Ron Killings vs Dave Finlay

After the match, Killings immediately started to put the boots to his “former friend” Shane Helms, when “Skipping up to Boston” by Dropkick Murphies began to play, a very upset Finlay began to run down and started to beat up on Killings. Finlay was stiff and began grabbing weapons. Not only did he attack Killings, he attacked Bank$ too, blasting him with a Kendo Stick. Then the rest of the club began to run out into the ring to attack Finlay, and each one Kingston, B-Boy, Dinero got blasted with a chair. Killings didn’t get much offense in until Bank$ hit Finlay in the back of the head with the title belt! The referee was laxed in this match that he offered to let the match continue. Killings continued to work on the wounds that Bank$ inflicted on him in his grueling match at Barely Legal! He even tried to put him away with the Axe Kick, but he kicked out! Then he tried for the “Lie Detector” corkscrew elbow, which again Finlay kicked out ! Killings put a chair underneath Finlay’s face and waited for him to get up, so he could Axe Kick him again, but Helms had the Kendo Stick behind him and hit him in the groin! Helms saluted Finlay and walked away from the ring. Finlay hit Killings with sever stiff forarms shots and spat in his face and finished him off with 2 Tombstone Piledrivers, the second being on a setup chair for the win!

Winner: Dave Finlay.
