MJStark
I hired a randomly created strong-style rookie with A star appeal (or whatever it is, I forget) & good tech skills and pushed him to the moon (pure product), we've hit national with him as the champ but he bearly holds on to his Main Event status, holding steady at Bs across Canada and the US and dropping straight to B- across the board and UpperMidcard if I dare let him lose a match. In the same time Hell Monkey is at B+, A*, A*, A, A in Canada and his TV & PPV matches shown in the US ellevated him to the point that he took the USPW World Title off T-Rex just before he signed a written contract with me. So is there any way I can beat the pop cap and make 'The Next Big Thing' Karl Turnbull a true superstar?
Greg McNeish
No. If someone has hit their cap, then they've hit their cap. End of story. Gotta love the Billy Gunn Effect.
MJStark
Man that sucks! The guy came second in the Top 100 last year too
Greg McNeish
On the bright side, his contract demands won't go higher, and at that Popularity level, he's still a very valuable asset. Nothing wrong with being a career main event gatekeeper. It's worked for Kane.
MJStark
Its cool now, I overinflated my mid-card, so now he doesn't drop down cos guys who were upper-mid before are main eventers too. Yeah, but Kane had a 1 day title run, this guy has been champ for 11 months lol
