At the start of the match Rod Remus locked in a headlock and wore down Starr to his knee but after minute or so Brett escaped the hold only to be hit with a thunderous dropkick by Rod which knock him out of the ring, Rod climbed to the top-rope and jumped down for an axe handle smash only to be was met by a knee in the gut, this gave Starr the advantage and he tried to get Remus counted out and got to an 8 and Brett started to stamp on Remus he then picked him up and got him in position for a Hollywood Hammer (reverse overdrive) which Remus manoeuvred to lift him for a death valley drop but Starr turned it into a neck straining swinging DDT and he continued to work on his neck for most of the match to build up for a Hollywood Hammer for the 3 count. Cattley runs to the ring and the match begins. http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/BrandonSmith_alt4.jpg vs http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z119/vaguelymarkish/MeanJeanCattley.jpg The American Patriot v Mean Jean Cattley The bout started as nothing more than a street brawl and it spilled to the outside with Cattley using the steps as an advantage smashing Patriots head into them, he then attempted an irish whip into the steps but the big man showed great agility by jumping over them and when Cattley ran at him Patriot flap-jacked him into the guardrail and began a 10 punch to the head of Cattley he then rolled him back into the ring and hit a legdrop on him and kept him down for 2 seconds, the match then settled into a more regular and even match with Mean Jean's technical excellence blending well with the fusion style of AmPat which was clearly evident when after a couple of minutes of a strong headlock from Cattley, The American Patriot took all the crowd support and reverse it into a Belly-to-back Suplex. Cattley rolled out of the ring looking like he needed to regroup but instead took a chair from ringside as the time came up for 13 minutes, he went back in the ring and hit Patriot in the stomach with it and then the back but couldn't drop Patriot, Cattley then went for a head shot but The Patriot just punched the chair onto the floor and punched Cattley in the head and caught him in an inverted Pildriver as Cattley tried to slip down his back, Patriot pushed him back up and slammed him down in a single movement adding Velocity to the move and with 30 seconds on the clock left Cattley down and at 7 he tried to use the ropes to lift him back up but fell causing the referee called for the bell to mark the victory for The Ameican Patriot. Problem came out and began to choke Mayhem straight away, and the ref could do nothing about it, with Mayhem out on his feet Problem gave a huge big boot that took him out and then began to blatently choke him again, with Mayhem out Problem picked him up for a Gorilla Press and dropped him on his forehead and the referee called for the bell. In an uninspiring match The Awesomeness showed why they are the top team in MAW by beating the opposition from pillar to post before Jefferson Stardust's Stage Dive on to Dermot O'Logical for the win Winners: The Awesomeness Brett Starr vs Jared Johnson It was a good match from these two youngster which saw good action. The two matched each other move for move in a very good opening encounter but after that things calmed down and Brett Starr used a lot of submissions to wear down Jared, but he was reversed almost immediately each time by the man trained by 'The Submission Demon.' And this showed with a number of his own good submissions and counters that Bloodstone himself would have been proud of none more so than a Bridging grounded double chickenwing which had Brett scrambling until he got to the second rope, which spurred Jared to change the move into a double underhook which he then modified to hit a double underhook facebuster (Ammo Dump). Winner: Jared Johnson Marv: And an impressive show from Jared Johnson who scores an unset and here comes an angry looking Jay Chord. Jay: Just a warning to anyone who wants annoys me and incidentally that moves me onto Rip Chord. Get out here now and give me my title shot. (He waits and no one comes out.) Jay: Well just a word of warning Rip, first of all I'm going to back there and find you my self, secondly I'm going to make your like life hell.
