But, That's Not The End Of It

Jarrett said that after he wins the Title tonight, that this foursome will become the most feared stable in wrestling history. Jarrett names the group, The Syndicate.

NWA Advisor Ricky Steamboat comes out with security and orders the beatdown to stop. Jeff Jarrett says he doesn't have to listen to Steamboat. Steamboat says that's not true, and he says that if Scott Hall, Buff Bagwell, or Brian James interferes in the match, Jarrett will lose. Hall makes fun of Steamboat's age, while Bagwell wonders aloud if Steamboat has erectile dysfunction. Brian James says that Steamboat's wife is hot and horny, and that he's been making some house calls at the Steamboat resisdence. Incencsed, Steamboat says that tonight he has appointed himself as the special referee for the title match tonight, and now says that if Hall, Bagwell, or James shows up at ringside that they will be fired. Scott Hall laughs, and produces a piece of paper that says that Scott Hall is a licensed manager in NWA-TNA that was personally signed by Jerry Jarrett. The Syndicate then procede to administer a guitar shot to the head and an Outsider's Edge to both Konnan and Brian Christopher before they leave

Jarrett promises that the best is yet to come.

Ken Shamrock vs. Rick Steiner

After a fairly even matchup, Jeff Jarrett managed to take the lead. While Scott Hall was distracting Steamboat, Jarrett low blowed Hennig. Jarrett then began a 5 minute stretch of working over Hennig's knee, and Jarrett managed to lock in a Figure Four Leglock.

Jarrett was grabbing Hall's hands, and with the leverage, left Hennig is excruiating pain. Steamboat finally saw the cheating, and kicked at Hall's hands. Hennig then began his comeback with a combination of chops, atomic drops, armdrag takedowns. Hennig rolled up Jarrett, but only got a two count. Curt jumped up and got in Steamboat's face.

Jeff Jarrett turned Hennig around and connected with a Hennig Plex, but got only a two count. This caused Scott Hall to jump on the apron and yell for Steamboat. With lightning speed, Hall quickly throws brass knuckles into the ring without Steamboat seeing. Hennig intercepted the knucks and blasted Jeff Jarrett. Steamboat, angry at Hall's constant interference, chops Hall of the apron and turned around and made the three count.

The show ends with confetti streaming down, as Hennig holds the Worlds Championship high above him. Scott Hall is animated at the outcome, on the outside. Ricky Steamboat holds Hennig's hand up and clearly looks at the brass knuckles on Hennig's hand.
