What happened was I liked the fourth one so much that I decided to get New Vegas because I heard it was great. Then last week Steam had a sale on the first two games plus some Brotherhood of Steel game in a bundle for nine bucks so I bought that.

Then yesterday I discovered that I had a code to get the third game for free. I thought for sure the code would not work but it did and so I snagged that one as well. I have not yet beaten part four yet (I just got the DLC for it) and I have only briefly played the other games to try them out, but so far they have all been pretty enjoyable. Which did surprise me because I would have thought the first two games would have aged terribly and yet they are still pretty good. Granted I do prefer the fourth game thus far (Now watch some crazy person come in here and call me a moron for having that opinion).

I still have the boxed copies of Fallout (1997) and Fallout 2 (1998) as well as Fallout Tactics (2001). There was also Fallout on the Xbox which was very much like Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance but was never a fan. I remember having to mod in a few things like children and I believe a gore setting increase which was interesting in the early internet days.

<img alt="sBck7jB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sBck7jB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="CfrTdwe.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/CfrTdwe.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Fallout 3 is not without its issues though.. The original ending was despised and revised when Broken Steel came out. A couple of DLCs were lacking (like Operation Anchorage & Zeta)

As for your opinion.. Fallout 4 is... alright, but has its issues too. I'm fed up with constantly being told that a settlement is being attacked and having to go deal with it, or spend hours building it up. Definately the prettiest though, and moddable on consoles which is a plus. Don't get me started on the boring DLC though.. Far Harbour and Nuka World are good, but the rest... Zzzzzzz

It would be interesting to see a Fallout game return to its roots of turn based, perhaps using an engine similar to Divinity Original Sin's. A male and female Vault Dweller asked to leave the vault for an undisclosed reason and all the shenanigans that go with it.

Blackman
Tomorrow the new UFC game will be revealed. I had a lot of fun with the second installment even though the career was bare-bones and I'm looking forward to this one. I think release is around march.

I kinda bought a XBOX ONE just for this series (as they aren't on pc). <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
Hive
New Vegas is the best of the newer Fallout games (though I haven't played 4 yet, so there's that) - but Fallout 2 is the best overall.

If you guys haven't already given Wasteland 2 a spin, do so... it's basically a spiritual successor to the original Fallout games (which were a spiritual successor to the original Wasteland). GUINNC
Anybody else playing the ufc 3 beta? I have been most the day. Really don't know how I feel about it just yet. smurphy1014
Anybody else playing the ufc 3 beta? Messed around with it a little bit tonight. The striking seems to be more fluid than UFC 2. I still can't pull off a submission to save my life, which means its gonna be KO/TKO or decisions for me

Grappling remains the same but that part was already awesome. Love that you can change the camera. Many others were disappointed that the CaF feature hasn't really been updated (if anything, there's less body types as before).

The "P2W" mode has been revamped but unsure whether we can talk about that. It follows EA's current vision of microtransactions, so I'll probably just be playing career exclusively once it gets released. Played EA UFC 2 mere hours after the beta and I FINALLY got my first set of cards complete (the Rousey set) and the rewards were practically useless by that time. Never really played online and if I did it was the regular game mode. I really don't get what people see in Ultimate Team anyway. I play several cardgames online for my "collecting needs". The exhilarating feeling of "I've got McGregor!" feels a lot less special when you can freely play him in the regular mode... all the time...

So far I've got nothing planned gaming-wise barring the daily portion of Gwent, so I'm eager for january & february to play WMMA5 and EA UFC3 respectively. ES Legends also gets an update this week so I'll be playing that as well on the cell phone in the coming month.
milamber
Just bought Planet Coaster. Like most of the these sandbox strategy games it's daunting to even start with a steep learning curve. Doesn't help that there's no proper tutorial. It also runs like crap on GTX 1070 with a decent sized park (heavily CPU bound). That's the reason I bought Cities: Skylines and barely touched it but at least Planet Coaster has better much graphics. What I hate most is not being able to easily align paths, objects etc and snap everything together easily. It took me 2 hours just to figure out how to do accurate rotation What I really love most is the mass of insanely awesome mods.

supershot
I highly suggest "Eco". It's a survival style came in a open sandbox. Starting from nothing, to developing roads and curbing pollution. Your actions in game directly effect the ecosystem, hence where the game gets its name.

It's still in alpha but it's starting to feel like a complete game.

I never got the system as you can play with whatever fighter during the normal vs mode, but I guess you can equip them with different moves. Maybe RPG players like it because of the "equipping".
