Stennick
I believe in Harvey....Wrong person I hate Mark Krogan. Something about him annoys me. VIVA The New Age! You're DEAD to me although I am partial to these California Guys and I promise Jason I will never doubt you again unless you're in a title match, you're not winning the title......I don't think. Really though aj great card, you really are committed to the California push and I like that. I want to see whats next in the Nero/Pat feud I think that and the Texas Outlaw drama are my favorite things not named Mark Krogan and Jason Jackson haha
ajcrible
I hate Mark Krogan. Something about him annoys me. VIVA The New Age! Poor Grandpa Krogan! He's understandably part of the 'old guard' in TWL and, at age 46, is probably about done with wrestling. But he is professional wrestling to many of the fans in the South and has to be treated with some respect. There was no way, for instance, that Krogan was taking the fall in the 6-man match. Archie Judge is a snot-nosed 20 year old - he can job without losing too much momentum or popularity. You're DEAD to me although I am partial to these California Guys and I promise Jason I will never doubt you again unless you're in a title match, you're not winning the title......I don't think. Really though aj great card, you really are committed to the California push and I like that. I want to see whats next in the Nero/Pat feud I think that and the Texas Outlaw drama are my favorite things not named Mark Krogan and Jason Jackson haha You? Partial to the California guys? Nah. And as I've said before, one of the best things that could've happened for me (creatively...NOT in TEW!) was losing Rip Chord. It makes the main event and the TWL Title much more fluid. JJ and Double Disaster would've NEVER main evented a show when Chord had the belt. The Nero/Pat feud is on hiatus for a bit, but count on Nero/Chief to keep heating up. After all, there is a write up in the canon about that feud in Texas in 1978! Will history repeat itself (or write itself a first time...or something...this is becoming like Back to the Future Part II!)?
Guest cmdrsam
Here is a thought. You and Stennick do a joint cross promotion show. But with the perspective from your own territory. That would rock I think.

ajcrible
From the Notebook of Referee Billy http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/ajcrible/TWL.jpg Another big event coming from TWL this month, as they present TWL Cold as the Grave. As is befitting the name, there are some real grudge matches scheduled for this month. TWL Tag Team Title Match: Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman/Johnny Boy Tucker © v. Border Runners (Don Juan/Luis Reyes) w/Shannon There is bad blood between Johnny Boy and the Reyes clan and tension between Tucker and Bowman. This explosive situation will come to a head in this match! Chief Two Eagles v. Warlord Pain The leader of the Nation against the 17-year old phenom. Will Nero's youngest Disciple overcome the experienced and disciplined Chief? 'Perfect' Pat Deacon/Trailer Park Kid v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) Can the makeshift team of Deacon and Trailer Park Kid overcome their inexperience and defeat the psychotic brawlers Machete and Rampage? Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan/Lone Star Stampeder v. 'New School' Jason Jackson/Night Rider Krogan requested that Johnny Boy Tucker be his partner, but Tucker is ambivalent. Will the experience of Krogan and Stampy be enough to overcome the power and youth of the Night Rider and Jason Jackson? Professor Nero v. Cobra Nero had a real battle to defeat Cobra's partner, Viper. Can Nero go two for two against the Crimson Serpent Cult? Mean Mark Green v. Blackheart Jones For weeks, Jones has rubbed the symbols of the Texas Outlaws in the face of Green. Will his determination be enough to unseat the enforcer of the fabled Outlaws? Quick Picks: TWL Tag Team Title Match: Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman/Johnny Boy Tucker © v. Border Runners (Don Juan/Luis Reyes) w/Shannon Chief Two Eagles v. Warlord Pain 'Perfect' Pat Deacon/Trailer Park Kid v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan/Lone Star Stampeder v. 'New School' Jason Jackson/Night Rider Professor Nero v. Stennick
TWL Tag Team Title Match: Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman/Johnny Boy Tucker © v. Border Runners (Don Juan/Luis Reyes) w/Shannon - I don't see Floyd and Tucker losing the championships but some sort of controversy is brewing in one form or another. Chief Two Eagles v. Warlord Pain - Giving it to two birds 'Perfect' Pat Deacon/Trailer Park Kid v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) - Its my life's work to never bet against Perfect Pat, he's perfect you know, you don't lose when your perfect. Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan/Lone Star Stampeder v. 'New School' Jason Jackson/Night Rider - This one has kept me up for weeks (or atleast the few minutes its been posted) - Jason got the win last week but I truly think that Krogan will get the win here. However Jason Jackson pays the bills (well not really) and I'm not going to betray my Jackson clan now. Professor Nero v. Cobra - Much like seven birds I'm not going against the monster. Mean Mark Green v. Blackheart Jones - I almost thought Green was going to win but you don't have a lot of time with Blackheart and he needs to be doing big things with (bigger) people. Big Roguey
TWL Tag Team Title Match: Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman/Johnny Boy Tucker © v. Warlord is suckiness times ten. 'Perfect' Pat Deacon/Trailer Park Kid v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) I have caught the Paranoia. PPD must be beaten!!! Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan/Lone Star Stampeder v. 'New School' Jason Jackson/Night Rider VIVA The New Age! Krogan is old, useless and stupid. I predict a JB Tucker turn soon. 1PWfan
Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads... Or to put in if Bowman's language- "Roads? What the f*** do we need f*****' roads for? Where we're f*****' going we don't need f*****' roads you stupid f****!" TWL Tag Team Title Match: Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman/Johnny Boy Tucker © v. Border Runners (Don Juan/Luis Reyes) w/Shannon Because the Outlaws are awesome Chief Two Eagles v. Warlord Pain The Lords of War are a useful team, but they're not built for singles competition 'Perfect' Pat Deacon/Trailer Park Kid v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) A trifle illogical as these two are easily outclassed, but if Deacon loses a few there's more chance of him sticking around Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan/Lone Star Stampeder v. 'New School' Jason Jackson/Night Rider Because a) Krogan's awesome, b) Stampeder sounds little like Stomper, and c) Krogan's awesome (I know I repeated that one, but he's so awesome it counts twice Professor Nero v. Cobra That's like booking Bret Hart to lose to Ricky Morton in Calgary. You just don't do it, no matter how good the tag guy is Mean Mark Green v. Blackheart Jones By DQ or something- I've found if a guy loses a bit at first the big leagues pass over him, and then you can build him back up without losing him for a few years

The Border Runners (Don Juan Reyes/Luis Reyes) w/Shannon Billy’s Take: This was a hot match to start off the show as both Bowman and Tucker have long-standing issues with the Reyes brothers. As is becoming routine, Shannon and Don Juan spent the match trying, rather unsuccessfully, to distract Johnny Boy Tucker with extracurricular shenanigans outside the ring. And as is also becoming routine, Luis Reyes stole the show inside it. The match was back and forth, with both sides getting multiple near-falls. In the end, the Reyes’ surprised us all when they hit the Double Fence Hop Legdrop on a downed Floyd Bowman to pick up the win and to gain the TWL Titles. Border Runners d. Floyd Bowman looked equally pissed, but also a little shocked (particularly since he had been the one pinned). The duo stormed to the back, Bowman hurling a string of profanities as no one in particular and Tucker hurling a wooden folding chair – also at no one in particular. The crowd didn’t know what to make of the childish tantrums and I heard a few boos mixed in the fan’s reaction. Warlord Pain w/Professor Nero Billy’s Take: Perhaps someday this will be a competitive singles match. As it stands now, Pain is a 17-year old powerful, but green, tag team specialist while Chief Two Eagles is perennially among the top wrestlers in the world and is just entering his prime. So while this was a hard-fought, competitive match, the ending was never really in doubt. Chief Two Eagles d. And what’ve I got? A couple o’ throwaway matches against the resident gutter trash, that’s what. I want in the Texas Outlaws, and I want in right now!” Floyd ‘F-Bomb’ Bowman, Mean Mark Green, and the Trailer Park Kid came out to the ring. Bowman took the microphone first. “Who the **** do you think you are? Think you’re a ****in’ tough guy? A ****in’ cowboy? Well **** you and then **** your *****-*** ****in’ Momma.” Jones looked ready to pounce on Bowman before Mean Mark grabbed the microphone from the spitting mad Floyd Bowman. “What my colleague is tryin’ to point out,” Mark began in his cool twang, “is that you ain’t done nothin’ to convince us that you’re Outlaw material. But I admire your guts, I really do. So I’ll tell you what. You think you’re so damn tough? Fine. Let’s see how you stack up against the baddest of all the Texas Outlaws. Tonight, you get…me. Reginald III v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) Billy’s Take: Painted Paranoia came out first, both men causing fans near ringside to cringe at their oddly painted visages. When their non-painted counterparts strode to the ring, the crowd erupted. Inside the ring, Machete and Rampage had the upper hand for short amounts of time, but were repeatedly forced to break chokeholds and other illegal maneuvers (clearly demonstrating that No Holds Barred matches are truly their strongest suit). In the end, it was this inability to work a match with actual rules that cost the painted duo as Machete ate a Deacon Driver to give the makeshift tandem of Deacon and the Trailer Park Kid the win. Pat Deacon turned around and Rampage locked him in the Silent Death, nearly choking out ‘Perfect Pat’ as Major Reginald III could do little but try unsuccessfully to pry the monster off of his client and best friend. As Rampage and Machete left the ring, there was little reason to think that, despite Deacon and the Kid winning the match, the hatred between these four men had subsided. Jackson took a microphone. “Ladies, ladies, ladies. I have a question for you. Have you been screamin’?” The ladies, and most of the men in the audience, booed loudly, “have you been beamin’,” he paused, “have you been,” a long drawn out pause, “California’ dreamin’? ‘Cuz the California Dreamboat, the Sacramento Sensation, the Los Angeles Love Machine, New School Jason Jackson is definitely worth dreaming about!” The crowd booed lustily until Mark ‘The Lariat’ Krogan strode out to the ring, looking around as if expecting someone. He took the house microphone. “Johnny Boy Tucker, where are ya’ at kid? Ya’ told me that you’d partner me tonight ‘gainst Jackson and the Night Rider.” Krogan waited, and waited, and waited some more, but Tucker did not emerge from the back. Krogan’s shoulders slumped. “Well, it looks like he ain’t comin’. Looks like I gotta improvise!” He charged like a raging bull into Jackson, knocking him to the mat and sending the wind out of his lungs. Unfortunately for Krogan, the Night Rider quickly intervened and evened the odds. The match went back and forth, with the babyfaces gaining ground every time Krogan was in the ring, but barely staving off defeat when Stampy matched up against the younger, quicker Jason Jackson or the more powerful Night Rider. In the end, Stampy took a powerful bodyslam from the Night Rider that clearly would’ve secured the victory but the opportunistic Jason Jackson tagged himself in and superfluously locked in the California Dream clawhold to pin Stampy and pick up the win while the Night Rider and Krogan battled on the far side of the ring. Professor Nero Billy’s Take: Like last time, Nero’s opponent is a tag-team specialist and unaccustomed to singles matches. And just like last time, this miniscule advantage was all Nero needed to prevail, locking Cobra in the Descent into Madness after about 12 minutes of back and forth to pick up the win. Nero d. You live in a fantasy world, don’t you? One where good guys wearing white hats always win the day and where the bad guys dressed in black slink away, tails between their legs. Is that how you think this will end Chiefie? With you riding off into the sunset? ” he giggled maniacally. “Hardly. Here’s how its going to end Chiefie. With everyone around you writhing in pain,” Nero took his trusty cane and bashed Cobra with it, “and in sorrow,” he continued the assault, “and in misery!” Unsurprisingly, this brought out Viper, Prophet, and Chief Two Eagles to back Nero away from Cobra. Nero’s backups arrived soon thereafter with TimberWolf leading the Lords of War, Warlord Agony and Warlord Pain, out to the ring to stand behind their demented leader. “Just remember Chiefie,” the confident Professor began, “that every time you fight back, every time you even think about revenge you get one step closer to taking off that white hat and accepting the black. You get one step closer….to being….ME!” Nero cackled and leapt at Chief Two Eagles’ elaborate Comanche headdress. This time Chief did not simply turn aside the attack, but instead retaliated, throttling Nero until his Lords of War pulled the Professor to safety. Nero laughed and wheezed at the same time, a guttural sound passing his lips. “One…step…closer…” he whispered into the microphone before leaving the ring. The two brutalized one another from pillar to post, all around the ring and even spilling outside to the floor. Both were nearly counted out, but managed to slide in just before the ten count. Jones looked to have the match won after connecting with a vicious elbow to Green’s temple. But Mean Mark kicked out at two. This seemed to rejuvenate the enforcer of the Outlaws as he pummeled Jones until Blackheart’s head began to seep blood from a wound near his eyebrow line. As the crimson mask grew and blood colored the canvas, Mean Mark punched even harder, sending Jones sprawling to the mat. Apparently satisfied with the carnage, Green picked Jones up and delivered a crushing Outlaw Driver, pinning Jones’ shoulders for the 1…2…3. Green d. Floyd Bowman blew his nose on Jones and kicked him hard in the ribs before stepping over him to take the microphone from Green. “So this pig-****er ain’t in. But what about you Johnny Boy? We offered you a ****in’ spot and gave you a ***-damned month to ****in’ decide. What’s your ****in’ decision Johnny?” Tucker took the microphone, his eyes still blazing from the earlier loss to the Reyes’. “I lost my tag team titles today. And what I decide right now may cost me one of my best friends. So you want my answer?” Green nodded and Bowman seemed even more on edge than normal. “My answer is hell yes. I’ll be a Texas Outlaw! Anything to get those belts back around my waist!” The crowd cheered the decision even as Mark ‘The Lariat’ Krogan came out of the dressing room and took one look at Johnny Boy before shaking his head in disgust and returning backstage. ajcrible
Stennick: 4/6. When I first planned this event, you would have had a 6/6. But certain...situations...forced me to rewrite the first and last matches. MichiganHero: 3/6. Just like Stennick, but with Painted Paranoia going over. I like Rampage and Machete, but the Deacon/TPK pairing has some life left in it first. 1PWfan: I LOVED your Bowman quote. Can't believe I didn't think of that myself! (I do find myself thinking in Bowman-speak sometimes. So far I haven't asked my wife what the **** she's ****in' makin' for ****in' dinner...so far...) Oh, and 3/6. Bolt: 4/6. Your reasoning was great. And like I said, certain events forced a hasty change in plans... Toeachtheirown: Thanks for predicting! First time, right? 3/6. Falling_Star: 4/6. ajcrible
From the Notebook of Referee Billy http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/ajcrible/Texas%20Wrestling/NeilFearn.jpghttp://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/ajcrible/Texas%20Wrestling/BlackheartJones.jpghttp://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/ajcrible/Texas%20Wrestling/TheLoneStarStampeder.jpg March 1978 I stood patiently outside the door to the office of The Lone Star Stampeder, picking idly at my fingernails. "You what?" I heard Stampy's voice shoot up two octaves. "You're leaving now?" The response was muffled. "Get the hell out. Right now!" Stampy's voice boomed. The office door opened and Samuel Stravagelli shuffled out, hanging his head in shame. "Nice to have met you Mr. Barrowman. When Stampy calms down, tell him I'm sorry. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse..." his voice drifted away but he still refused to meet my eyes. "Whaddya want Billy?" Stampy sneered. "Got more bad news for me?" "Ummm..." I gulped. "No sir. You wanted to see me..." "Oh, yeah, right. Sorry kid, its been a bad day. First a retirement and then, well, I guess you heard that Stravagelli's heading to SWF too. I hope he and Rip both burn in hell." He motioned toward the door. "Come on in," he began, "Billy, have you ever thought about helpin' to book..." he pulled me into his office and shut the door tightly behind him. OOC: Bolt, you hit the nail on the head! As if I needed another reason to hate SWF...
1PWfan
OOC: Bolt, you hit the nail on the head! As if I needed another reason to hate SWF... That's what's always driven me away from the '77 mod- the SWF are absolute pigs when it comes to stealing all the talent, and you're left with virtually nobody who's interesting. At least the TWL can usually keep hold of Prof Nero and the Outlaws.

At least the TWL can usually keep hold of Prof Nero and the Outlaws. Oh, there are plenty of interesting guys still left, at least in my opinion, after the SWF begins their raid. The problem is that many of the interesting leftovers are talentless, over-the-hill, or so green that it will be years until they can put on decent matches! ajcrible
From the Notebook of Referee Billy http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/ajcrible/TWL.jpg On the heels of a Texas Outlaw-style beatdown on Blackheart Jones (and his subsequent departure from the company), TWL proudly presents an exciting night Deep in the Heart of Texas. The announced card is as follows: Crimson Serpent Cult v. The Sadistic Duo (Professor Nero/TimberWolf) Another battle in the on-going war between Chief Two Eagles' Nation and Professor Nero's Disciples of Evilness. Will the tag team specialists finally prevail against Nero and his canine protege or will the Sadistic Duo prove victorious? Texas Streetfight: 'American Made' Johnny Boy Tucker v. Don Juan Reyes w/Shannon This feud has reached a boiling point and Tucker has asked for a Texas Streetfight. Will 'American Made' be able to overcome the slick combo of Don Juan and Johnny Boy's ex Shannon? No Holds Barred: Trailer Park Kid/'Perfect' Pat Deacon v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) In a straight-up tag team match, Deacon and Trailer Park Kid prevailed. Will the odds swing in favor of the demented Rampage and Machete in a more hardcore environment? Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman v. Luis Reyes There is bad blood between the Texas Outlaws and the Border Runners. Will the talented Luis Reyes continue to climb up the card or will F-Bomb send him the **** back down to the midcard? Non-Title: Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan v. 'New School' Jason Jackson After months of tormenting Krogan, Jason Jackson finally gets his shot against the Lariat. Can California's finest overcome the Southern Legend? Quick Picks: Crimson Serpent Cult v. The Sadistic Duo (Professor Nero/TimberWolf) Texas Streetfight: 'American Made' Johnny Boy Tucker v. Don Juan Reyes w/Shannon No Holds Barred: Trailer Park Kid/'Perfect' Pat Deacon v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman v. Luis Reyes Non-Title: Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan v. 'New School' Jason Jackson
Boltinho
Crimson Serpent Cult v. The Sadistic Duo (Professor Nero/TimberWolf) Serpents need a win. 'Wolf tends to get whipped in these situations Texas Streetfight: 'American Made' Johnny Boy Tucker v. Don Juan Reyes w/Shannon JB seals his new, meaner image with a shocking use of a weapon (brass knuckles?). Shannon has to get a slap some time soon too... No Holds Barred: Trailer Park Kid/'Perfect' Pat Deacon v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) In a NHB match? The masked monsters come ALIVE Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman v. Luis Reyes What the **** does Luis ****-****Reyes think is going to ***-ing happen? Non-Title: Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan v. 'New School' Jason Jackson Californian nightmare
Stennick
I knew Strong was leaving when you had Bowman blow his nose on him lol. That just REAKED of a Vince McMahon thing to do Great show though and I think Tucker/Krogan is the best story going. Crimson Serpent Cult v. The Sadistic Duo (Professor Nero/TimberWolf) - Going with the "real" team here. Texas Streetfight: 'American Made' Johnny Boy Tucker v. Don Juan Reyes w/Shannon - I just don't ever vote for the Reyes clan even when I know I should. No Holds Barred: Trailer Park Kid/'Perfect' Pat Deacon v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) They lost the last match up their not losing two in a row. Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman v. Luis Reyes Again I don't vote for guys with the last name Reyes in TWL even when I should ha ha Non-Title: Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan v. 'New School' Jason Jackson Call it a hunch
Beeker
A confession. I didn't like this dynasty at the start. It was Stennick's California Dreaming that made me reread about Texas. I'm glad I did. It's a lot of fun. It actually works in conjunction with Stennick to really make both dynasties pop. It's a rare occurrence and one I've enjoyed. Enough of my rambling, time for some of my assuredly shoddy predictioning! *** Crimson Serpent Cult v. The Sadistic Duo (Professor Nero/TimberWolf) - I'm guessing this is Cobra and Viper. Who Nero has defeated solo, easily. As a lethal 2 headed snake though, they should be able to overcome the pet wolf while Nero plays a fiddle. Texas Streetfight: 'American Made' Johnny Boy Tucker v. Don Juan Reyes w/Shannon - If this were a Mexican Street fight, AMJBT (that rolls off the tongue) would have a chance. But since 'they ain't got no mutha f***in streets in that s***hole of a country!' Go away F-Bomb! I'm going to pick the Texan Outlaw Tucker. No Holds Barred: Trailer Park Kid/'Perfect' Pat Deacon v. Painted Paranoia (Machete/Rampage) - A coin flip of a match. For the face painted freaks to look legitimate I think they beat up the pretty boy... and the kid. Floyd 'F-Bomb' Bowman v. Luis Reyes - Luis is too good to lose the F-Bomb. "Like **** he is!" Quiet Bowman! And when F-Bomb loses, the fans win as he gets to spout profanity. Non-Title: Mark 'The Lariat' Krogan v. 'New School' Jason Jackson - Even non-title the Lariat shouldn't be losing to that West Coast Diva Jackson. I think this will be by DQ when New School brings in some extra 'students' to beat up the old old olde school Krogan.
