Wasn't Beefcake pretty good back then, before his accident. I remember as a kid he was one of my favorites, so maybe my childhood is clouding my judgement.

It seems hard to sign him because I tried to bring in him and gino to feud with steamboat & Youngblood. I just got them facing the briscoes. Im thinking about eventually breaking them off and putting one in a world title feud and another in us title fued. I may do a diary eventually but I dont know. One thing im gonna have is a great american bash tour like they did. maybe show a match on the mid-atlantic tv show and use MACW in your town as bash tour shows. Mines on a different version than this. Im still on tew 2007. I got so many things id like to do but dont know where to start.

One thing I have found out there are plenty of great folks here and are more than willing to share some insight on writing tips, etc. Years ago these boards were full of RW writeups. Now its pretty much Cverse. And there is nothing wrong with Cverse. I actually enjoy playing cverse over RW. Fell in love with cverse in an old 75 diary I had going on. Still kind of wished I stayed with it. </p><p> </p><p> Best advise I could have is do it if you think it you will enjoy it. Because believe me if you dont enjoy it, you will will come to a point where you dread posting. Play a few months before hand. Write a few shows up before you start posting. That away if you want to take some time off from writing you have some back up material allready for you. Find a style that you enjoy. My style of posting may not be for you. Or it may and you might do a better job at it. But first and foremost, have fun. I dont know about you but I already have a full time job, dont need another one. Anyways enough of my rantings <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> For the rest of you readers out there I am in the process of having World Wide wrote up. Greg Valentine defends the United States Title against Jimmy Valiant.

Mike Rotundo VS Paul Jones

Ronnie Garvin defends the NWA TV Title against Paul Orndorff.

One Man Gang and Kelly Kininski defend the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles against The Fabulous Ones.

I have wrote enough of Clash to think possibly by the weekend I could be posting as many as three shows this weekend. So dont forget there will be two shows, Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling and World Wide will be posted before the Clash. Yes I realise this maybe unfair. But it does allow me to guage what people are thinking.

Sorry I have no clue who Kelly Kininski is and I know who the rest are so I will go with the Fabulous Ones with my messed up reasoning.

This is not a why are you doing this question, more of a I am curious question. Did they have Triple Threat matches back then?

The three thing kinda got me at first but being creative is a good thing. Im not a big fan of three matches my self but people have different ideas about things. Overall I have enjoyed this diary. Ive done a few things different on my game as well than back like the Great American Bash didnt start until 1985 but I went ahead and made it a GAB tour like they had in 86 and 87. This diary has gave me a few ideas myself on what I want to do on my game.

Valentine over Valiant-Ive never seen Boogie as a US Champion. Entertaining yes and very popular but not a major title holder in my opinion.

Jones over Rotundo- I could it see it either way. This match could be used to boost Rotundo as I felt he was a great worker.

Orndorff over Garvin-I was never a big fan of Ronnie Garvin.

Fabulous ones

Great Kabuki

Steamboat& Youngblood- I never got to see these two team but ive heard how great they were.

Ric Flair- I doubt its time for him to drop the belt.

If they did I am not aware of it. I think it was a few years down the road before the three way bouts would happen. But the way I have wrote this it just seems natural to have a three way. To be honest I may even be doing some four way matches for some of the lower card members down the road.

On a side note. I thought I would be posting up the cards by this weekend. I just went and reread some items, and to be honest I am going to rewrite some segments. But I think it will be well worth the wait. Between the three shows I have 29 pages on Open office. This is down from 37 on some quick rewrites. Just not happy with it yet. Please bare with me as I am working very hard to bring you what I have. Again I think it will be worth the wait.

I am sure they happened before but the first time I remember triple threat matches was in ECW. I do not have a problem with you using them, I was just asking because I truly did not know.

Just a cheap bump here guys. I will indeed have shows posted this weekend. Think I am finally happy with the Clash write up. So this is what is going to happen. Will have Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling and World Wide Wrestling posted this weekend. Will have Clash posted by next thursday as this allows me time to begin writeups for the week after Clash of Champions which I have allready begun. Thank you for your patience and your continued support.

Bob Caudle and Tony Schiavone welcome us to Florence South Carolina and to another great show of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. We have some footage of something that happened off the air last week on World Wide Wrestling.

The video begins to play as we see Bob Orton walking down a hallway to leave the building. He is talking to some unknown people about how glad he was to see Leduc and Koloff not get the tag belts. He is thinking about finding a partner himself to perhaps go after Steamboat and Youngblood perhaps down the road. As he pushes open a door to leave the building the door hits Jos Leduc. The cameras hurriedly head to the backstage, where Ivan Koloff and Jos Leduc are putting the finishing touches on a brutal beat down of Bob Orton Jr..

Rated: C+

We come out of the video feed and Jack Brisco is there at the broadcast table. Jack tells us this is the lawlessness that is driving him insane. Jos Leduc and Ivan Koloff are not worthy of any title as far as he concerned but that is another story. He is not out here to debate the ethics on Ivan or Jos for that matter. Its Dory Funk who he has his sights on. The last time we had a match says Jack, We fought to a time limit draw. Tonight Jack has another crack at that Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight title Dory has been holding on to. And Terry Funk is not in the building so maybe he has a fair shot at beating Dory tonight. As he leaves Jerry Brisco comes out and they shake hands and Jack tells Jerry good luck on his match due next.

Kabuki steps back and runs at Jerry then leg lariats him to the mat. Kabuki with a quick cover, Tommy Young drops down and counts to one before Jerry kicks out.

Kabuki waits for Jerry to get to his feet and super kicks him. Kabuki follows with a corkscrew legdrop then a elbow drop to the sternum of Jerry Brisco. Another cover by The Great Kabuki gets him a two count.

The Great Kabuki measures Jerry Brisco up and lands a thrust to the throat. The Great Kabuki spinning mule kicks Jerry Brisco. Cover by Kabuki and Jerry puts his feet under the ropes to stop the count. Tony Schiavone notes that so far this has been all Kabuki.

Both men are on their feet and jostle for position. Jerry Brisco with a hiptoss on Kabuki. Jerry Brisco puts The Great Kabuki in an arm grapevine submission. Gary Hart steps onto the ring apron and begins to yell at Tommy Young. Young is telling Hart to get off the mat. Jerry Brisco releases the grapevine hold and goes over to Hart. Hart slaps Jerry Brisco. Jerry grabs a hold of Gary Hart and rears back and decks Gary sending him crashing out of the ring.

This town is starved for a real man of class, a man such as myself, who can put all of those butts in the seats out there right now. You can beat, the excitement that you out there are feeling, is the same feeling those two men I have to face later are feeling as well. They know they have a shot to be the man. But like all of those who have tried in the past, you two will fail. Learn to love it, because diamonds are forever. And so is my title reign. Whoo!

Ric pulls Wahoo over to the corner and rolls up Wahoo while keeping his feet on the corner turnbuckle with extra leverage. Tommy Young counts. ...1 ...2 ...3!

Tony Schiavone: The winner of this match, and still NWA World Heavyweight Champion champion, Ric Flair!!!

Ric Flair defeated Wahoo McDaniel and Terry Funk in 29:35 when Ric Flair defeated Wahoo McDaniel by pinfall while blatantly cheating.

Rated: B

Wahoo McDaniel is one ticked off individual as Terry Funk comes staggering in the ring. Wahoo tees off on Terry ripping one chop after another on Funk. Flair grabs his title and begins to make his way to the back as he looks one last time as we see Wahoo just destroying Terry Funk.

Harley Race comes out and low blows Flair. Race begins to stomp away on Flair. Race pulls Flair over to the broadcast table and bounces Flair's head off of the table. Flair is busted wide open and his hair is now a crimson mess. Race climbs on to the table and pulls Flair in between his legs setting up for a piledriver.

Gordon Solie: Come on Race, don't do this.

David Crockett: Race, stop this at once.

Race just ignores them both and crashes Flair's head on the table shattering it. Race picks himself up from the mess and tells Flair, “My time is now Flair. No more hiding, no more games. You know you cant beat me Flair.”

Harley Race grabs the world title and hoists it up in the air as the crowd boos him. Race drapes the belt over Flair. Race starts to laugh and makes his way towards the back.

Rated: B+

Gordon: Thats all the time we have tonight folks. Good lord I hope Flair is alright.

David Crockett: Say what you will about Ric, but nobody deserves that kind of treatment.

We close the show as Race is taunting Flair and the fans, the camera turns its attention to the crumbled body of Flair and medical staff attend to Flair.

Overall B

I have to say, usually I do not read match write-ups. However, for this show I did and I must say you did a great job! I love how you but Tony, Gordon and Bob's commentary into your match write-ups as well.

On a side note, is it sad that I would much rather listen to Tony Schiavone broadcast in the WWF than Michael Cole?

GRRRR. Ok boys and girls. I have obviously have done something to lose my game save. For the life of me I do not recall deleting it, or making any major changes. I cleaned by cookies, and a disk defrag. Now my game save is gone. Have recently did a system restore back one day to see if I can find it. Nope. Like I said I obviously done something because you just dont lose data like that but again unsure. Have windows xp. Any words of wisdom?

Occasionally saves (and picture files, I've found) disappear from the list - presumably due to a missing file. If the save folder itself is still in there, create a new folder and copy across the backup files. It should then (in theory) reappear in your in-game save list.</p>

Officially saying this is dead. I was not able to revive my game. But I am in the works of perhaps doing a 77 SWF game. But we will see.
