The established pairing get the victory in a hot opener, with Hocking looking particularly impressive. The Young Americans defeated Tsuki Kawamata and Robbie Wright in 8:09 when Matt Hocking defeated Robbie Wright by pinfall with a Hock Shock. (46) Ant Man vs The Minor Annoyance I don’t put myself over Ant Man. Strange, huh? Ant-Man defeated 'The Minor Annoyance' in 5:57 by pinfall with an Antislam. (34) Connie Morris vs Dagger Wow! These two rock the house, looking really comfortable working together. Dagger nearly steals a surprisingly close match, but goes for a top rope leg drop that misses, allowing Connie to recover and hit the Plough. Connie Morris defeated Dagger in 6:03 by pinfall with a Missouri Plough. (52) Donte Dunn vs Marshall Dillon Dillon picks up a rare win, as Dunn’s still in the doghouse after his poor performance 2 weeks ago. It’s a competitive match, though, and both men look pretty good. Marshall Dillon defeated Donte Dunn in 8:13 by pinfall with a Crackdown. (54) Amazing Fire Fly vs Frankie Boy Fernandes Fantastic match here, and FBF nearly takes it, but like Dagger a few matches ago misses a top rope move, allowing Fire Fly to drape an arm over for the cover. Amazing Fire Fly defeated Frankie-Boy Fernandes in 9:24 by pinfall. (58) Amber Allen and Remmy Honeyman vs The Paratroopers Good stuff, as expected from any combination of AA and the Paras. Little more than a glorified squash, but does its job as Amber and Remmy’s uneasy alliance nearly implodes on a couple of occasions but Amber eventually gets the win. Amber Allen and Remmy Honeyman defeated Paratroopers in 7:35 when Amber Allen defeated Paradigm by pinfall with a Northern Lights Suplex. (50) Bradley Blaze vs Syd Collier Excellent match, with Blaze shocking many observers by getting the clean victory. Bradley Blaze defeated Syd Collier in 8:32 by pinfall with a Dallas Drop. (53) Extraordinario Jr vs Tamara McFly Shockingly awesome debut contest for the Mexican lucha as he nearly beats Tammy on several occasions before she finally puts him away. Tamara McFly defeated Extraordinario Jr in 6:03 by pinfall with a McFly Roll. (64) Nigel Svensson vs Talia Quinzel OH MY GOD The rise of Talia continues, as this pair fight in an amazing contest, which ends with the Spinal Trauma from the Mistress of the Backbreaker for the greatest match in our history. Talia Quinzel defeated Nigel Svensson in 10:10 by pinfall with a Spinal Trauma. (73) Big Gold Belt: Amber Allen vs Remmy Honeyman This was good, if somewhat short, but it was overshadowed by THAT semi-main event. Still, gotta be happy with it overall. The Young Americans defeated Dagger and Frankie-Boy Fernandes in 6:25 when Matt Hocking defeated Frankie-Boy Fernandes by pinfall with a quick cradle. (49) The Minor Annoyance vs Tsuki Ouch. I’d rather not talk about this one, thanks. Tsuki Kawamata defeated 'The Minor Annoyance' in 6:17 by pinfall with a Flying Leg Lariat. (29) Nigel Svensson and Remmy Honeyman vs Paratroopers Fun, as always for a Paras match. They’re becoming a fairly experienced team, and while they still get beaten here, they at least pull off a few nice double team moves. Nigel Svensson and Remmy Honeyman defeated Paratroopers in 7:06 when Nigel Svensson defeated Paranoia by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock. (50) Connie Morris vs Marshall Dillon These two are sent out and told to play to the crowd, and do a great job of it. Nice little match here which is very open with Connie eventually slipping up and allowing Marshall to hit the Crackdown. Marshall Dillon defeated Connie Morris in 9:47 by pinfall with a Crackdown. (56) Extraordinario Jr vs Syd Collier Syd’s bad run against high flyers shows no sign of stopping, as he can’t cope with Extra’s speed. Extraordinario Jr defeated Syd Collier in 8:14 by pinfall with a Siempre Peleando. (58) Bradley Blaze vs George Wolfe Blaze squash victory here as he absolutely destroys Wolfe with strikes. Bradley Blaze defeated George Wolfe in 7:52 by pinfall with a Dallas Drop. (40) Amazing Fire Fly vs Donte Dunn AFF squash.victory here as he destroys Dunn with flippy moves. Amazing Fire Fly defeated Donte Dunn in 9:16 by pinfall with a Sky High Fire Fly. (59) Remmy Honeyman vs Robbie Wright Ugh. This is serviceable by most people’s standards – but for Remmy, it’s a huge disappointment. Not sure HOW Wright managed to drag him down this far, but it doesn’t bode well for Robbie’s career. Remmy Honeyman defeated Robbie Wright in 8:24 by submission. (48) Nigel Svensson vs Tamara McFly Good back and forth match, as this pair do a great job of getting the crowd buzzing without burning them out before our big main event. Nigel Svensson defeated Tamara McFly in 7:35 by submission with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock. (64) Big Gold Belt: Amber Allen vs Talia Quinzel You know Talia was in the best match in RY-RAW history last show? That’s now the SECOND best match in RY-RAW history. 1PWfan Posted September 14, 2010 Share Posted September 14, 2010 Big Gold Belt: Talia Quinzel vs Nigel Svensson Talia only just won the belt, and besides, she's really delivering at the moment Amber Allen vs Tamara McFly Double A needs the win to rebuild a bit after the title loss Ant Man vs Syd Collier I could see Collier maybe taking this, but Ant Man's one of your earliest major stars and deserves to stay at the top Connie Morris vs Donte Dunn I like Donte but he's fallen in your estimations rather a lot, and Connie's far more dependable Amazing Fire Fly vs Frankie Boy Fernandes Because Luchas are better than boring old cruiserweights Marshall Dillon and George Wolfe vs The Young Americans Dillon & Wolfe are good guys, but The Young Americans are the more experienced unit Dagger vs Tsuki I don't care about either of these guys, but Dagger's marginally more interesting Remmy Honeyman vs Robbie Wright Because Robbie's awful, quite frankly Amber/Ant Man vs Paratroopers Sooner or later, the Paratroopers might actually win, but not against these two Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And what an incredible one we have to start with… Amber Allen tries to regain the Big Gold Belt from Talia Quinzel, Tamara McFly takes on Remmy Honeyman, and Syd Collier, who’s struggled against high flyers in recent weeks, tries to beat possibly the most acrobatic of our entire roster, Amazing Fire Fly.</p><p> </p><p> Plus, there’s a major expansion in the tag ranks, with the Young Americans taking on the newly formed Young Canadians team of Dagger and new signing El Diablo, and Syd Collier pairing with fellow MAW Boot Camp grad Chris Flynn to take on Nigel Svensson and a man Svensson will reveal on the night – with his only clue being that his mystery Team Europe partner is one of the biggest names on the continent!</p><p> </p><p> (OOC: Apologies for being dumb enough to put 12-13 matches a show for a bit, I stopped REASONABLY soon, honest.)</p><p> </p><p> (OOC 2: If you want to point out that Chris Flynn ISN’T a Boot Camp Grad, stop being a know-it-all smark, Syd’s claiming he is – and Would He Lie To You?
