Both D.A.V.E. and XDW closed its doors in late 2007 but ever since then rumors have been flying back and forth that each one had a hand in the other’s demise. XDW enthusiast claim John Campbell called the athletic commission on XDW and D.A.V.E. fans will tell you it was XDW’s violence that put the media spotlight on D.A.V.E. and thus was the cause of D.A.V.E. losing their TV show Danger Zone TV!</span></p><p> </p><p>

We may not always like one another, we may not always be on the same side of the ring, but damn it these guys are my family! D.A.V.E., a few years back you split my family up and now that we have finally gotten back together you’re trying to tear us apart once again. Oh **** no! XDW isn’t going to stand by and let you run roughshod over us! You see tonight you have to face the five of us in a match, and I say we add a stipulation to make things a little more interesting. All seemed lost for Team XDW until Demon Malice, Mark Smart, Nigel Svensson and Cal Sanders came down to the ring with baseball bats in hand. Team D.A.V.E. exited the ring but as Team XDW went to thank the guys the group laid them out with the bats. Team D.A.V.E. then went on to score the pinfall. The group then revealed D.A.V.E. shirts under their XDW ones.</em></span></p><p><span style="color:#FF0000;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FF0000;">

Let me apologise to anyone who has been reading this. Although the XDW was fun, it's finacial challenge made doing a dynasty more work than I would have even imagined. With that said this dynasty will be coming to an end...however fear not for a new Lucha Libre dynasty is just around the corner. Thanks again for all the participation and help making my first dynasty such a good time.

<em>Demon Malice and Mark showed excellent tag chemistry as they made quick tags and kept Riley isolated from Findlay. The match was ended after a huge Running Power Slam from Demon Malice sent Riley crashing through a table.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>The match was dominated by Hell’s Bouncer as Jebediah just couldn’t get things going. As Hell’s Bouncer went for a pinfall, Xavier reckless ran out and distracted the referee. Hell’s Bouncer went to confront Xavier but Extreme Deluxe nailed Hell’s Bouncer with a tire iron then pulled Jebediah on top of him.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Running Wolf and Bright Falcon went move for move with the vets. JD Morgan looked to get the win but just as the ref went for the three he stopped counting. JD Morgan got into the ref’s face and the ref pushed JD into Running Wolf who landed a huge full nelson slam and a quick count pin. Afterword the ref removed his striped shirt to reveal a XDW one.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Xavier Reckless, Fearless Blue, and Daredevil Aero vs. Ash Campbell and the New Jersey Devils</p><p> </p><p>

<em>The match was brutal as the XDW boys came out with every kind of weapon imaginable. During the Match we had Super Sonic and Extreme Deluxe come out and attack the New Jersey Devils. Ash Campbell was out on his feet but Xavier refused to pin him instead he waved for someone to come out from the back. Out from the back came Demon Spite and he slid into the ring. Demon Spite nailed Ash with a Demon Lariat and Xavier, Blue, and Aero all placed a foot on Ash.</em></p><p> </p><p>

An XDW Return?

 

Earlier today a new message popped up on the XDW website replacing the old one advertising the XDW DVD collection. The message, short and simple, reads In 2 Weeks, XDW, Returns! Already the internet is buzzing with speculations as to just what this means. Early theories are a Christmas release of the entire XDW DVD collection with added materials while a select few hardcore XDW fans are holding their breathes for another full fledged XDW revival. Ex-XDW booker Anthony Villarreal has answered no questions from TEW.com about this issue and attempts to contact ex-owner Xavier Reckless has also been met with a stone wall stance toward questions. Whether or not this means XDW is indeed set to return...well, even we at TEW.com do not know for sure. We will however, keep you updated as this story proceeds.

XDW moves East!

 

Following up on our recent story about the return of XDW, it appears that the company is moving out of Xavier's Yard and into a local bar in Chicago. Early reports indicate Ex-Owner Xavier Reckless has cut ties with XDW after first selling his stake in the company to former head booker Anthony Villarreal. Insiders are speculating that Xavier was not happy about several proposed changes to XDW along with his dislike of the D.A.V.E. invasion angle. There is no word on whether the remaining XDW originals will be included in this revial or if they too have severed ties with XDW. As always we will keep you up to date on this story as it develops.

XDW: Out of the yard!

Chapter 2: Another new beginning.

 

D.A.V.E. kills XDW! I still remember that headline splashed over a thousand internet wrestling sites. That’s the funny thing about our business. Every fan over the age of five knows that wrestling is staged like a movie or TV show, yet each and everyone will pretend its real and get caught up in the excitement. They will sit on the edge of their seats, with as much anticipation as a kid on Christmas morning, waiting for the “baby face” to take the “heel” down. Well, this time the “heels” were D.A.V.E. and they took the “baby face” XDW down and out. At least that is the story we told. For the first time anywhere, let me just lay the rumors to rest and say it was all staged! D.A.V.E. never took over the company. Neither Phil Vibert nor John “Nemesis” Campbell bought the XDW name and/or rights to XDW…I did! Truth is, I used my power to create a huge interest in XDW to sell XDW DVDs at a premium price. Why? Simply put…money! I owned the biggest stake in XDW merchandise with a 90% share in the DVD rights thanks to my shrewd negotiations. I then used my profits to buy Xavier’s stake in the company and a small part from the other founders, making XDW all mine. Was it underhanded? Yeah, but if I hadn’t done it then XDW would have died under the ownership of Xavier Reckless. Now that you know how we got here, let’s go back and see what happened when we arrived…
