After last weeks Best Of British we witnessed a great shock as Leo Price revealed himself as the second member of "The Orders". Tonights show is surely going to be reeling from that revelation. Also we continue to build to World War 3 and Joss Thompson will defend his 21CW world title.

Price has a sadistic grin on his face as the crowd showers the two men with boo’s, Price seems unmoved and begins to speak.</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman';"> “ Jeff, much of what you said rings true, you did give me a chance, you gave me exactly ONE chance, and if it weren’t for the fact, that I virtually gave you no chance but to sign me, you wouldn’t have given me a second thought. Admit it, Nova, there has never been a wrestler under contract to you that you despised more, I had to fight for every title shot I got, while you handed lesser men shots left, right and centre. The match starts off fast with Francis and Stones hitting each other with everything they have, in an effort to get the match over early and save some much needed energy. Francis hit a spinning heel kick to Jones for a near fall, but Stones powers out, Pit Bull Brown gets in the ring and delivers some damage to the rock star with some big clotheslines, a huge big boot and a bone rattling power bomb, which leaves Stones out, but the cover is broken by Kevin Jones and the match goes on. Eventually Jones manages to get himself into the match and his rivalry with Brown comes out as they hit each other hard enough to knock most men out cold. This brawling continued, with the two men going at it like crazy, really getting the crowd behind them, a massive double clothesline left the two men down and desperately inching toward their corners, both men arrive and again Francis and Stones burst into the ring, full of life. Francis hits a lot of high impact moves and had his controlled frenzy going wild, he headed to the top rope, only for Kevin Jones to shove him back down to the mat, Stones quickly got to his feet and lifted DBF up off the mat, he nailed him with his patented Brainbuster. Cool’s attitude however appears to be more a hindrance than a help, as whenever he hits a successful move, his showboating toward the crowd, gives the experienced Thompson a chance to recoup and dominate the brash youngster. The match goes on, and Cool’s grip gradually starts to fade, Joss begins to control the match and Cool struggles to keep up, in a fit of desperation, Cool grabs a chair, he swings wildy at Joss but misses, Thompson quick as can be, connects with a superkick to the chair that drives it into Cool’s skull. Thompson follows this up, by waiting for Cool to stand, and when Luke is up on his feet, Joss connects with a big Clean Cutter. Cool is left out cold in the middle of the ring as Thompson makes the cover, the referee makes the count..1....2...3. Hopefully after this month, they can really get some personality shown.</p>

As the show goes through the normal opening, with the hype videos and the pyro, Steve Smith and Melanie Florence welcomed us to this edition of 21CW Best Of British Wrestling. The 21CW owner, Jeff Nova’s music hits and out walks our grand leader.

 

Nova reaches the ring and is handed a microphone, he looks somber, still obviously feeling the strain of the new alliance formed between Leo Price and Nightmare, and the possibility of more members to join them in the coming weeks.

 

“ Life has not been easy lately. The stress of running a wrestling company is high at the best of times, but lately it’s a whole new level, my heart is beating fast constantly, I’m finding it hard to breath, I have my doctor telling me it’s not worth my health to continue in this environment, I have my wife telling me she’s worried I’ll die in this ring, I have my kids asking me why I’m never at home.......And it’s all because of you, “The Orders” . You seem to revel in making my life a misery, everything you do seems custom made to break my heart. And what hurts me the most, is I still don’t know what you want from me, who else is in your pocket, who is leading this charge.......

 

Before Nova can finish his thoughts, the lights dim and out come Leo Price and Nightmare, filled with an arrogance that resonates around the arena, Price takes his time to allow the audience’s hatred to sink in before beginning his speech

 

“ Nova, Good things come to those who wait, but it won’t be long now, nope, soon enough we will reveal ourselves to the world and you will bow down before us, but that’s for another day, right now I want to go back to last week. For those of you who don’t remember, at the end of last week’s show, me and Nightmare nearly broke Joss Thompson’s neck, we nearly snapped it in two, in fact if it wasn’t for you Nova, we would’ve retired the 21CW world champion there and then, now I did what I did because I am sick of this, me and Joss, dancing the same dance, fighting the same fight, it’s like it’ll never be over.....except it has to be over, you see, the Orders need that World title that sits around Joss’s waist and I’m going to be the man to take it from Joss, so come on Nova make the match, at World War 3, me and Thompson, one on one, one last time, If I lose, never again will I challenge Joss for the title and vice versa.”

 

Jeff stares at Price with a look of puzzlement

 

“ Now, why the hell would I do that?”

 

The crowd erupts at this and Price looks furious on the apron, but before too much can happen, a familiar face appears on the giant screen behind Price, it is the 21CW champion, Joss Thompson.

 

“Price! I’m not going to stretch this one out, but for once I agree with you, it does seem like we have a never ending rivalry, and I’m worried that we’ll kill each other before we retire. So, whilst it may shock everyone, I accept this challenge”

 

The crowd gasps and Jeff Nova looks distraught in the ring, he puts his head in his hands as Leo Price grins sadistically

 

“ Yeah, we will meet at World War 3, but as some form of compensation for me accepting this challenge, I have one for you, one that you will not refuse, tonight, you will face my good friend.......Pit Bull Brown...and he should be there.....right about now”

 

Before anyone can react, Brown bursts through the curtain with a Steel Chair, he smacks Nightmare square in the head and then follows up with a shot to Leo Price. Both men are left laying on the stage, as Pit Bull Brown basks in the fan’s adoration, Jeff Nova nods his head in a show of gratitude as he walks up the ramp toward him, but as we go to commercial break, there is a definite sense that not everything is right here in 21CW

 

 

The Anglo-Scots Connection versus Stefan Raynor and Louie Peyton

The match gets underway and Louie Peyton faces Davey Celtic. Peyton shows new levels of aggression not seen before and physically dissects Celtic in the opening portion of the match, looking like a truly deadly worker, however Celtic’s speed does work to his advantage and a series of quick tags with Davey London work to the connection’s advantage as they wear out Peyton. Peyton does manage to get back into it and after a big clothesline to Celtic, Peyton tags to Raynor, who hits the ring and connects with a dropkick to London off the apron.Caught up in the moment Raynor leaps to the turnbuckle and spotting a beautiful woman, he blows her a kiss.This distraction gives Celtic the chance he needs, he positions Raynor onto his shoulders off the turnbuckle and Davey London heads to the top rope, London flies and connects with a Doomsday Device. London blocks Peyton from entering the ring and Celtic makes the cover for the victory.

 

Winners: The Anglo-Scots Connection

 

As the Anglo-Scots celebrate their victory, Stefan Raynor and Louie Peyton remain in the ring, Peyton looks incredibly frustrated with the loss they have just suffered. They go to leave the ring, only for a very sexy blonde woman to walk out to the entrance ramp, she attracts the attention of both men, and motions for them to join her, as Raynor and Peyton chat, she walks backstage. Raynor and Peyton ultimately choose to follow her backstage.

 

 

 

 

We cut backstage, where Kevin Jones is standing by with Kathleen Lee, Lee goes to interview him, but Jones stops her, takes the microphone and then shoos her away. Lee looks put out, but ultimately leaves Jones to his own devices.

 

“ Brown, me and you have been fighting like cats and dogs lately. Now anyone will tell you, that I like a fight, a ruck, a battle as much as anyone, and to be honest, I love beating you soundly. But I think we’ve fought as hard as we can, and I don’t know how much more we can beat each other up, so I’m putting out a challenge to you. World War 3, Me and You, No DQ’s, No Countouts, No Rules, just a fight.....to the bitter end”

 

 

 

Edward Cornell versus Luke Cool

Before this match began, the commentary team of Melanie Florence and Steve Smith are joint by “The Franchise Player” Stevie Stoat. Stoat assures Florence and Smith that he is just here to scout the competition for World War 3 and not cause trouble, but Florence and Smith are unconvinced, as is Edward Cornell who keeps a keen eye on Stoat as the match gets underway. Cornell and Cool have a fairly even match, with both looking to get a good run of momentum heading into the all important World War 3 match in just two weeks. Cool does suffer some periods of heavy offense at the hands of Cornell and when he does finally manage to connect with a jumping DDT, Cool climbs to the top rope, he looks to make an impact with a moonsault, but Cornell is not sufficiently stunned and moves out of the way, sending Cool crashing to the mat. Cornell takes advantage of Cool’s error to finish him off with his Black Lightning Bomb, Cornell covers Cool and the three count is elementary.

 

Winner: Edward Cornell

 

 

 

The match is finished and Cornell has got the victory, but before the referee can even raise his hand, Stevie Stoat had superkicked Cornell to the mat. Stoat then celebrates his sneak attack, looking far more pleased with himself than he had any right.

 

 

 

Backstage, Rolling Johnny Stones is signing an autograph for a female fan, he is clearly trying to seduce her and it seems to be working, until behind him Daniel Black Francis shows up. Stones sends the fan on her way and turns to face Francis.

 

Stones: What can Rolling Johnny Stones do for you?

 

Francis: How about fighting like a man, instead of using cheap tactics to win?

 

Stones: I don’t like your tone, Rolling Johnny Stones is no cheater, you’re just bitter that I’ve got your number.

 

Francis: Be a man, fight me one on one, with the UK title on the line, with no cheating, at World War 3

 

Stones guffaws at this suggestion

 

Stones: At WW3, I don’t think so, see I’m gonna be too busy preparing for my victory in the battle royal. And, now if you don’t mind, I got a match.

 

Stones barges past an irate Daniel Black Francis, and we go back to Steve Smith and Melanie Florence.

 

 

 

Adam Matravers versus Rolling Johnny Stones

The UK champion Johnny Stones swaggered down to the ring, to a crowd of booing fans, Matravers meanwhile revelled in the adoration of the fans, but didn’t see as Stones dived out of the ring and connected with Matravers before the match began. Stones desperately tried to put Matravers down on the outside, putting boots in on the fallen star. Stones continued in this vein and the crowd was in a state of shock when he lifted him up for a brainbuster, but to the fans relief, Matravers realised what was going on and slipped out of the move, reversing it into a facebuster onto the hard outside floor. Adam managed to roll into the ring and was eventually followed by Johnny as the match officially rang. The two men had taken a bit of a battering on the outside and both seem a little bit worse for wear as the match began, Matravers tried to keep a hold over Stones and in the early going, it was working, however as Stones began to resort to more and more underhanded tricks, he began to take control of the match. Johnny Stones did control the match and looked in good stead to get a victory and it looked like he finally had it, after he lifted Matravers up for the Brainbuster......but again Matravers escapes it, he again face busted Stones to the mat, and quick as a flash was up on the turnbuckle. Matravers flew from the top rope with a Mile High Moonsault, hitting his target perfectly, the pinfall was elementary.

 

Winner: Adam Matravers

 

 

After the match had ended, Matravers got up on the turnbuckles to celebrate his victory in the glow of the fans adoration. The lights dimmed and on the stage, appeared Matravers arch-enemy Jonathan Faust. Matravers glared at Faust, with a determination in his eyes as Faust began to speak.

 

“The time draws closer, Adam. You’re day of reckoning is approaching, you can pin my shoulders to the mat for three seconds, but you will never truly defeat me. Adam, listen to what I tell you, it carries more weight than you could possibly imagine”

 

The lights go out in the arena, when they come back on, Faust is gone. Adam Matravers rolls out of the ring and storms backstage, presumably looking for Faust and we cut backstage.

 

 

 

Thompson is in his locker room, Nova walks in and questions why he let Price have a title shot

 

Joss Thompson is shadow boxing in his locker room, when Jeff Nova walks into camera shoots. Joss stops and looks at Nova.

 

Nova: Joss, why are you giving Price the match he wants?

 

Joss: Jeff, there’s only going to be one way to stop this Orders crap before it starts and that is to take out Price, take him down, Nightmare won’t know what to do, problem solved.

 

Nova: Joss, if Price wins the title, then he has all the power, there will be nothing we can do.

 

Joss: Are you not listening to me, Jeff? I’m going to end Price’s career, i’m going to put him in the hospital, believe me, I’m sick of it.... I’m putting Price on life support, DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME NOW?

 

Thompson furious, storms out of the locker room, full of anger, leaving a stunned Jeff Nova to let what just happened sink in.

 

 

Pit Bull Brown versus Leo Price

The match began with Pit Bull Brown and Leo Price staring into each others eyes, Brown showing his hatred for the traitor, while Price’s smug grin showed his uncaring attitude. As soon as the bell rang, Brown immediately hit a knee to Price’s midsection, leaving him winded. In the opening part of the match, there is a sense that Brown has Leo Price’s number, he seems to have control and possesses a calm head which makes it hard for Price to get into the match. The match draws on and Price is starting to get desperate, he slowly manages to fight his way back into the match, but is still very much on the back foot, Brown goes for a huge shoulder tackle, but in a last gasp effort, Price pulls the referee in front of him, and the ref takes the brunt of Brown’s move. As Pit Bull Brown looks shocked, Price quickly hits a low blow and Nightmare lumbers out from backstage, Nightmare hits the ring and connects with his Darkness Choke Slam, Price follows up with a Price drop and waits as the referee slowly regains his consciousness. The ref awakens to see Price covering Brown and counts the 1....2.....3.

 

Winner: Leo Price

 

 

After the match, our 21CW world champion, Joss Thompson stormed down to the ring, he jumped on Price, getting in as many punches as he possibly could, but he was quickly and easily held back by Nightmare. Nightmare held Thompson up as Leo Price then got some free shots in, Price connected with the Price Drop and Nightmare then lifted Thompson up and landed a huge powerbomb. The 21CW fans are visibly shocked, as Price eyes up Thompson’s title belt, he walks over and picks the belt up of the mat, he and Nightmare then leave the ring, with the world title in their possession. We go off the air as our commentators question what this could mean for 21CW’s future.

Thanks very much to everyone who's already predicted on the show, it should be up either tonight or tomorrow morning (UK time).

 

A quick question also is, I've been thinking just for presentation purposes of including theme songs for 21CW Best of British and each of the PPV's, using a youtube video, but would people think it would take away from the idea of a cornellverse diary if i'm using real world music in it?

Cool returns to the ring and the two men fight it out for the best part of five minutes, Hawkins looks to take an advantage and looks to lock in his Chickenwing Crossface, Cool however manages to use his feet to low blow Hawkins just outside the referee’s field of vision, Hawkins releases the hold and Cool immediately makes his impact with a Cool Cutter. Martinez just gets up, Celtic flies at Martinez, hitting him with dropkicks, a crossbody, and a jumping DDT. Celtic sensed his time was now and went up to the top rope, but quick as anything Jay B made his presence felt and distracted the referee, Martinez managed to take advantage and lifted Celtic from the top rope, and drilling him with an amazing muscle buster. Faust instantly sprang for Matravers and the two men brawled to the outside very quickly, meanwhile Jones and Brown stared at each other and roared toward the center of the ring, they met with a double clothesline, that sent both men crashing to the mat. As soon as they pulled themselves to their feet, the two men continued to brawl in the manner, which the audience were accustomed to. Meanwhile as Faust and Matravers returned to the ring, the match seemed to become more a two on two encounter as Matravers and Brown began to work together to beat up their rivals. They utilised some fancy double team maneuveurs which left Jones on the outside and Faust suffered a big sit down powerbomb from Brown and then instantly was hit with a frog splash from Matravers, but this alliance crumbled as Brown took the chance to throw Matravers out of the ring and make the pin on Faust..1...2...Faust got a shoulder up. As Brown got up, Matravers was already on the apron and launched himself onto the top rope, before flying and connecting with a headscissors on Brown, Brown stunned rolled out of the ring, where Kevin Jones restarted the brawling, the two men begin to brawl themselves backstage and out of the match, essentially leaving the action down to Matravers and Faust. Faust and Matravers both seemed groggy at this point and it devolved into a bit of a brawling contest, but Matravers stunned Faust with an Enziguri, taking his time, Matravers managed to make it to the top rope, he leapt off, looking to make an impact with the Mile High Moonsault, but Faust rolled out of the way. Faust tried to take advantage and grabbed Matravers for the Devils Drop, but whilst he held him prone, Matravers stunned him with a schoolboy rollup....1....2.......3. Joss bursts into the ring and is almost at once face to face with Leo Price. I realised that I never needed to steal the belt, because come Saturday night, i’ll have the real thing, I will be 21CW World champion, Joss and I thought it would be a crime to rob you of your last days as a champion.
