angeldelayette
Non Title: Scott Hall vs. Ric Flair Hall gets a loss Didn't I have a perfect score on this one too? This is the one that threw me off. You marked Scott Hall for the win but your comment said he gets a loss so I wasn't sure which one you meant. Rob5KC
I was mostly a PWI guy rather than any other magazine. Though I did occassionally pick up The Wrestler. But, yeah, that's exactly what the Arena Reports are supposed to bring back within the reader's mind so I'm glad they are having that effect. Had to come up with an interesting way to spread information that would still fit the 1989 timeline. lol. Me too...PWI was definitely the one I went out to definitively pick up, but I usually would pick up whatever else happened to catch my eye. My parents, while both liking wrestling, rolled their eyes whenever I'd come back from the bookstore with those in my hand. NWA WORLDWIDE* Saturday Week 4 October 1989 Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Scott Steiner Coin flip Buzz Sawyer vs. Flyin' Brian Another coin flip Midnight Express vs. Dynamic Dudes squash extraordinare! Dick Murdoch vs. Sting Poor Murdoch...just when he gets back to a main event WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING Saturday Week 4 October 1989 Cactus Jack vs. Steve Austin Sorry Steve, but you're not quite up to the task just yet Mike Rotundo vs. Z-Man Z-man is quite simply a waste of space to me Samoan Swat Team vs. The Steiners I never liked the SST, so went with the Michigan boys Lex Luger vs. 'Hotstuff' Eddie Gilbert It pains me to pick against Hotstuff, but you gotta do what you gotta do Terry Funk and The Great Muta vs. Ric Flair and Sting Do I see an accidental shot to Flair by Sting costing them the match? Zergon
NWA WORLDWIDE* Saturday Week 4 October 1989 Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Scott Steiner Somewhat of a coin flip here but Steiner have had more TV time so far Buzz Sawyer vs. Flyin' Brian Buzz jobs here again Midnight Express vs. Dynamic Dudes Express picks up the win Dick Murdoch vs. Sting Sorry Murdoch but you are on job duty here WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING Saturday Week 4 October 1989 Cactus Jack vs. Steve Austin Austin is still jobbing his way up Mike Rotundo vs. Z-Man Z-Man has more going on but with he and Brian having troubles I could see Rotundo taking the win here Samoan Swat Team vs. The Steiners Swat Team seems to be mainly jobber duo Lex Luger vs. 'Hotstuff' Eddie Gilbert Luger needs to win this one Terry Funk and The Great Muta vs. Ric Flair and Sting I expect Flair to win the PPV match so Funk gets his win here. Beejus
This is the one that threw me off. You marked Scott Hall for the win but your comment said he gets a loss so I wasn't sure which one you meant. Oops. I did mean to mark Flair there. Must've zoned out.
