Lifeline Posted March 6, 2014 Share Posted March 6, 2014 I made these for a small mod that I made where basically GAMMA's equivalent of UFC 40 never happened and it went under which extremely f'd up the North American market, setting it back decades (I also added that US house of rep's and Canadian Federal Government decided to ban NHB competition after GAMMA fell through, though Nevada, California, Hawaii, and Quebec were "hold-outs" due to loopholes in the legislature (so basically a what-if senator McCain's attempt to ban NHB had happened). I also figured that the fans would be pretty pissed and the media even moreso if say the UFC just folded (or in this case GAMMA) to I set all that stuff back for the surviving states/provinces. Any older high-level NA fighters retired and a lot of the "in their prime" guys signed with ALPHA-1, BCF, or FLB who all benefited extremely from GAMMA closing. So I made a bunch of random little niche-type promotions (or crossover promotions with wrestling or boxing bias as people from those sports try to break into the now-depleted market for would-be easy cash) in North America to simulate two-bit promoters trying to become the next big-time promotion. http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s309/Mattd_album/CageKraze_zps10c7b73a.png Kinda stole a storyline from TEW with this promotion (at least for the mod) where the guys on "the quest" i.e. Xavier Reckless, Fearless Blue, Extreme Deluxe etc. all quit pro wrestling after failing the quest and started their own MMA promotion and started training for MMA. Not sure why I used them but I had a cool TEW game where I remade their defunct promotion and signed them and tried to make it work...
