I started out with 30,000 and a dream. I now had almost a million in the bank. No. Im not a genius promoter. I just got really really lucky... in some ways. In some ways I may have sold my booking soul to the devil. You see... I sold 60% of my company to a woman by the name of Trixie Smarter. My company had $86 left and there was no way I could run a show with that. This happened in July of 2006. A rich lady who happened to be a fan of independent wrestling Offered me one million dollars for 60% of my company. Id still be running it, doing the booking in such but she would be in charge of scouting out new talents. In addition she put several objectives for me to fulfill. 1: I had to hire her sons Terry and James. 2: She wanted to portray an Authority Figure on the show. 3: I had to consult her for contract renewals 4: If I found any talent I wanted to hire I had to consult her before hiring them. 5: Her and her sons would be faces until atleast January of 2008. 6: Any potential prospect she finds will receive a 3 show trial before deciding on permanent employment. 7: She can make 3 hirings with out consulting me per year. 8: I must try to build up a tagg team division 9: Every show must have 1 stipulation match. no more no less. For the ninth I was able to negotiate with her for two of the shows. Night Of Violence and Night's End. Those would be my decision. She also made me fire many member of the roster at the time. She got me in contact with a few names, including a couple name from Japan. At this point, she told me I would resume booking how I wanted up until January of 2007. Which means this month she would be bringing up 3 names for me to sign. Or so I thought. She called me. She told me she had two people for me to give trial matches to. She had also hired a former MMA champion, who had quit on a live Pay Per View after losing the world title. The phone call ended with one sentence that has been sticking in my mind since.
