Fair point, this in addition to a fairly small readership to this as a new diary I will at least hold this off.

 

The reason I thought of it was because I need to run an extra pay per view every 4 or 5 months as huge salaries (Big Cat, Chhampion on 200K, Human Arsenal on 250K) I have 9 guys on 100K plus, so I need a ppv every once in while to ensure we are making money. Any other extra/gimmick PPV's I could do, I currently have a Hall of Fame PPV, and I may as part of changing the names of most of my PPV's (Starting with August's Locked Up, September's State of Pain! and this months born enemies I might add a 2 day spring wrestle festival but then I may need one more extra P-P-V. But it's still early days of the diary if not of the save game itself. Anybody any ideas?

This was the last showing of The Shooter before the Brand War match at Born Enemies and was a great chance for him to intimidate the opponent, find any weakness and make sure he was ready for the challenge and Shooter looked impressive throughout the match completely dominating the young Frankie Perez for almost the full 10 minutes of the match and The Shooter looked like he could be the last man standing in this match as he was tonight ending it at 9:47 with a running knee strike.

[We cut to the Eisen Locker Room, where Eric, Big Cat Brandon and Chris Caulfield are standing; Chris has a concerned look on his face and a letter in his hand, all that can be seen to the viewer is the red text but it is too small to be readable, Chris initiates the conversation.]

“Eric have you seen this,

[pointing to the letter]

someone is trying to mess with my head, what should I do?”

[Eric takes out a clipboard]

“I’ll get to you Chris chill. OK, club meeting, Big Cat”

“Present”

“Chris”

“I’ve just been talking to you… Present!”

“Eric, erm, present and apprentice John McClean…”

[Caulfield shakes his head]

“Eric he’s not here, he still thinks Brandon wants to beat his brains out.”

[Eric looks to his clipboard]

“Well we haven’t got time to look for the kid because we got a lot to do tonight and me getting to the final is going to be a bit harder tonight”

[big Cat looks confused]

“Why, Eric?”

“You haven’t heard, item 1 is double referee’s, due to some guy cheating on another show, this tournament will now be double officiated with any infractions leading to a straight DQ, so tonight, boys whatever you do don’t come out to my matches, I’m going this alone!”

[Chris looks at his phone]

“John’s text me I’m not here, if anyone asks, OK and then he’s put a wink, god knows what that means,”

“Chris, we're on item two now, move on!”

[The camera then comes back to the ringside]

This match was a quick and average match which screamed filler, after a missed knee drop Art was struggling to walk properly and Ash Campbell took advantage of Art as he sorted out his knee pad and won the match after just 6:36 with a roll up pin fall.

“Fans, crowd… rabble whatever you want to call yourself listen! As much as the bad guys are against me, that doesn’t make me an ass kissing good guy, I don’t need your sympathy, I don’t need John McClean, I’ve got all I want right here… Well apart from one thing, the small matter of the United States Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship, you see once I’m past the final 3 obstacles that stand in my why, I am able to prove I am the best in the business today and more important, that I am better than you!”

Eric had no backup, no foreign objects and no tip offs to the referee many though he would be decimated by Rick Law but this was really not the case and Eric showed a huge amount of skill and strength and in all fairness was better than Rick Law on the night and after 14:50 he actually won a match fairly and squarely by pin fall with The Supremacy.

This was the final match before the representative is ‘chosen’ for USPW Born Enemies and the crowd were ridiculously hyped for the bout and they had every reason to be with one of the best Technical wrestlers in the world in one corner and one of the meanest and toughest brawlers in the other, this had the setting of a classic PPV match but it was third last match on free TV, only in USPW. The match was a back and forth encounter and it seemed as though either man could min it at any point of the match should they push to that next step. However in the end it was a good job there was a second official as when the first ref was knocked unconscious the previously absent and thus unaware of the second official John McClean came in.

He hit Tom with a chair crashing him to the mat of course the outside official noticed this and Rich Hayward was disqualified.

[After another error from McClean Gilmore is through to American Wrestling bracket final and Rich Money is not happy with Eric’s bunch getting involved again, and he turns to John who backs up into the corner Rich easily closes him in and starts to pummel McClean into the floor, after Rich looks as though he is leaving Tom Gilmore the winner thanks to John gives ‘Squeeky’ a drop kick to the face and Rich turns back around, this then turns into a three way brawl with McClean doing very little offensively, the fight between Rich and Tom goes on for a while but security, road agents and officials soon break them up.]

And the semi-main event was a slightly low key affair as the finalists took a breather before the Main Event but the action certainly wasn’t lacking with excellent technical wrestling on display the fans did find themselves getting into the match with these two slightly less decorated members of the USPW roster, and Dark Flash’s attempts at getting his first win here in USPW since he joined 3 years ago and he wasn’t any luckier tonight when at 15:12 Brent Hill won with a King of the Hill

“Marksman, get you creepy ass out here now!”

[The fans roar in anticipation of the showdown and the upfront approach of Nicky gets the fans pumped, and as always The Marksman sans Carl Batch comes out.]

“Marksman, what I want to know is why? Why after our match in December 2 years ago when I beat you fairly do you continue to stalk and to attack me whenever I look the other way, for 2 years I haven’t been able to live, sleep, wrestle without being on edge that you were round the corner of every freakin’ move. Then you leave American Wrestling I think I can get back on track win the world title but no, you screw me out of my dream, for a silly vendetta you don’t even work with us anymore, so why Marksman, tell me why!”

[The often silent Marksman asks for a microphone, his voice is somewhat gruff, grizzled tone and he seems annoyed when he lets out a manic laugh and shakes his head, before beginning]

“Nick, you really don’t remember do you? You talk about crushing dreams you talk about ruining your life, 11 years ago, Nicky, it was 11 years last month since we both walked into USPW HQ and I was in the queue before you, in fact I was next, I was next to join the USPW training camp to realise my dream to become a pro wrestler and it looked as though I was going to make something of my life, to be who I always knew I could, but to be the man nobody else ever believed I could, and as if by fate my pen broke and I turned to you and asked to use that pen, how did you reply not with a neighbourly sure but with after me and that’s you problem Nick you first everyone else after you, and after was too late, you took the last entry spot and as the pad was taken away I memorised one name Nicky Champion, and I promised myself when you least expect it I will strike and I did, and I did again and I will until I die because until you can no longer wrestle I can never stop, so this Sunday at Born Enemies! The Marksman will take on Nicky Champion in a no disqualification match and Nick, I will end you!”

[The Marksman drops his microphone and leaves, the crowd and Nicky are stunned, but we got a new match for the pay-per-view.]

This match was a very heavy handed encounter between 2 guy who were already tired from their previous matches but knew that they were so close to greatness and legendary status that they pulled it all out of the bag and the high intensity saw both man’s conditioning come into question towards the tail end of the match, with double scrutiny from the officials Eric didn’t try to cheat and given his performance in the match why he feels the need to cheat all the time is questionable and he, at 15 minutes he had Tom in the deadly and dangerous Supreme Dream sleeper hold and Tom began to fade knowing that he only had seconds to escape or his dream was slipping away he threw himself at the centre of the ring ropes and hit a modified sliced bread on Eric and took him down, seeing he needed to do more Tom went to the top rope and Gilmore lunged down with a clothesline but Eisen got out of the way and set up Tom for a German Suplex, but Tom flipped over and hit the Anger Management at 16:27 and he advanced to the final!

 

Winner: Tom Gimore

[After his gruelling match and subsequent loss to Tom Gilmore and truly beaten up Eric Eisen drags himself to a microphone as Gilmore celebrates his win he is angry and is ready to address the world.]

”To be a genius you must always have a backup plan and since you all know me by now, you’re wondering what mine is, Guide at the Pay-Per-View that Military title is on the line against me, so USPW say goodbye to ‘YOUR’ Military Champion.”

[Eric then staggers up the stage gingerly as Tom continues is in the ring, as we go off air Swoop reminds us Tom is one step away from bringing the World Title 'back home'.]

Welcome to the first ever turning on the lights, thanks to a relationship with USPW, USPW’s number 1 Fanzine has exclusive uncut interviews with some of our favourite promotions biggest stars! First under the Mothman’s spotlight is former USPW Tag Team Champion Robbie Retro! Here is a transcript from that exciting meeting!

MM:

First of Robbie, Robert? What do you prefer?

RR:

Out of the ring most people call me Roberto but I don’t mind, Rob or Robbie is fine,

MM:

OK, firstly it’s great for you and USPW to do this, and to me it shows why the entire organization is the best in the world, you don’t see SWF or TCW doing this, they keep it all cahoots it’s 2014 dudes, but yeah thanks for doing this Robbie,

RR:

Well, USPW told me to come [they both laugh] but cool, it’s a pleasure to be here,

 

MM:

Thanks, my first question to you is an obvious one who was your childhood wrestling hero, who inspired you to become a wrestler?

RR:

I was always a SWF loyalist, you know, when HGC came about I gave it a go and it seemed old, washed up so I was always strictly an SWF guy for the most part and my favourite time was about 1997 because they were being pushed for the first time by the Hollywood guys so they were pulling out greatness and the man I always remember wanting to be and actually going to school dressed as was Jim Force, he was the inner me, the person I wanted to be and at that point to me it was all about the North American title, Sam Keith holding the gold was nothing because I believed I had ‘The Force’ and it is honestly one of the best moments of my career when I jumped ship to USPW and I met Jim and for the short time we spent together I felt we really got on, and it’s a great sadness of mine that I never got to do a match with him even if I know it would have stunk [he chuckles to himself]

 

MM:

I’m not surprised knowing some of the crazy things I’ve heard about you, and meeting him as you say was up there but what is your favourite time during your career and what is your proudest achievement.

RR:

My favorite time is when I first joined SWF, I was jobbing but just to be out there on TV in the biggest promotion of the time it was great, but that is also tied with when I debuted in USPW because I was allowed to be me again and in SWF I felt I’d gone from a joker to a joke and it’s a fine line but you know when you’re on the wrong side of it, I was the wrong side practical jokes and all that crap up north, and when I moved I cut a promo and the fans loved me. Not only that I was up near the top of the card pushing the upper ends of the midcard pushing to the main event, I was in the main storyline that drove us to that next level and I feel I played a part in the growth to a national scale even if a small one, but just working with Phil Vibert, Rick Law, Chris Caulfield was wonderful, as for proudest achievement, probably getting the pin fall victory in my and Chance’s crazy victory over Christian Faith and Bruce Carlton [The Giant] we were midcard and they were topping PPV and to this day I think it was a slip of the tongue from either the booker or the road agent, in fact did I see Doom after that [Robbie laughs as does MM] but I got to pin Christian and to me it’s the biggest shock in wrestling recent history, but I suppose maybe above that is winning my only career title so far the tag team titles with Chance Fortune great day when we pinned Mick Muscles after debuting our No Lucking Back finisher.

 

MM:

I remember that Christian Faith pin, I was literally stunned and the internet thought you were the next world champ, you touched on your team with Fortune there, how did that come about and where did the cool, at least I think cool, name come from?

RR:

We first were put together for one match and we beat Flex and Pecs 2 and then I think it was an Easter USPW party and one of the women’s wrestler who will remain unnamed said to Fortune, hey Chance, any Chance of a dance, and everyone around sort of laughed at the rhyme and me equally drunk said I’m Mr. Dance you don’t want Chance and so I was dance and he was chance so the name was born from there before that we were just put together because we were both being groomed to be top faces and we were both against Phil’s team and Chance had come up with the name Lucking Back with the pun on luck being spelt L-U-C-K and that’s where the finisher No Lucking Back comes from, so really we just formed over our ‘hatred’ for Phil Vibert.

MM:

That is really interesting; who are your pals in wrestling who do you trust a lot, other than Chance of course, because it can be a moth eat moth business?

RR:

Of course you have to trust your tag partner and it’s great that he a cool guy but the only wrestler I spend non-wrestling time with is when I go surfing with Kashmir Singh at one of the USPW shows we got talking about surfing and since we go every couple of weeks, Kashmir is currently in AWA our development but he is a great guy, even if he’s a crappy surfer [They both laugh] other than that most people are OK and cool but Singh is who I chill with out of work of all the wrestlers.

 

MM:

Would never have guessed that Robbie, now I’ve got some questions from members of the boards and then if you have time some quick fire questions.

RR:

Sure fire away.

MM:

Who is your favourite opponent to fight against?

RR:

I really clicked with Dallas McWade in the ring he really got the best out of me, it feel natural wrestling and I now train quite a bit with him so, Dallas, or was it Dean? Danny? Yeah it’s Dallas.

MM:

[still laughing as he asks] If you could have wrestled one guy in history who would it be?

RR:

I presume you mean any wrestler as I said before Jim Force, him or Dan Stone Jr. just because he would make me look great!

MM:

And the last board question How do you keep that afro in such condition?

RR:

Well, that’s a secret I’m afraid let’s just call it hard work.

 

MM:

To me Brent [Hill] and [steve] Flash still go pretty hard but Sam Keith’s kids are on another level they are so competitive with each other it’s untrue.

MM:

Worst trainer?

RR:

Can I say? Erm, well Henry Lee barely shows up anymore but that’s because he mostly works house shows!

MM:

Worst dress sense?

RR:

Most say me! [They both laugh]

Finally who is the most intelligent?

RR:

Henry Lee always has his head in a book and CH Threepwood is a bright spark. Mitch Naess knows everything about wrestling though.
