Any new readers or anyone who wants a recap, at the bottom of post three there is a 'Show Archive' this means you don't have to read through the news stories if you do not wish to. I hope this invites more people to check out this diary as I know it can be a drag going through pages to find shows. Plus it's an easy way to test whether you like the diary, you could click as show and decide this diary isn't for you. I hope either way this is a helpful to any already reading, new readers and potential readers. If you click a show and decide you don't like it why not say why. I will not get offended.

"Thanks for that Swoop and what a show we have, McCarthy as the USPW Championship Tournament continues, but first we have two guys who were eliminated last week and are not happy about it!"

We opened up with a strong match of two people who felt hard done by being out of the competition and it was a gruelling match with neither man watching to give an inch, tonight John seemed extra angry and his ruthless side helped as he beat Brent in 13:05 to pick up the win with a Stain Removal.

 

Winner: John McClean

 

[Rich Hayward comes to the ring. Despite being unscheduled to fight he is in his wrestling gear he has microphone in his hand]

"Apparently Rich has to take part in a tournament for the title that he should have won but for interference, I had Human Arsenal’s dream of beating every former USPW in my hand and I was ready to crush into 140 pieces on for every win he has in USPW and then I was going to take his World Title and become a two time champion more than 10 years after my first title win! To stay on top for that long is what makes legends, it’s what make champions and it’s what makes legends, hell it’s what makes immortals.

 

And now I must start at the bottom again? Work my way up, do they know who I am? [Turns to the announcers booth] Do you know who I am? I’m one of only 2 multi-time world champions in this promotion and I’m soon to be the standalone 3 time champion. And not only do I have to partake in this tournament but them GM Joe doesn’t even give me a practise match tonight, well screw him I’m issuing an open challenge for anyone in the back with the balls to take on the champ."

It was Alex Freeze who accepted the challenge and he probably would rather have had the night off as a pissed off Rich Hayward beat his from pillar to post and back again in a near total domination, Rich had finally had enough at the 5 minute mark when he hit the 53 year old with a Bank Roll for the pinfall victory.

 

Winner: Rich Money

 

"And Rich absolutely annihilated Alex there and my god that Bank Roll took him!"

"Damn straight it did and that's why he has to be one of the favorites for the title, Mitch, he just has to be how many other people could do that to the legend that is Alex Braun?"

[Chris Caulfield is walking backstage when he sees the recently absent Phil Vibert, he runs over to him,]

“Hey Phil where have you been, man you’ve missed all the fun!”

[Phil looks up at him in shock]

“Where have I been? You’re the one that f[bleep]ed me off, too busy playing with the shiny big promises of the Eisens. Too many promises from them, I told you it wouldn’t work when Rich wanted you back in 2002 and I’ll tell you now Eisens they’re bad news why do you think so many of our DAVE guys never went there, of course there were offers, they gave me the chance, but now Eric is throwing empty promises at you, you’re waiting on him hand and foot. What do you get out of it? He wants the top strap where does that leave you? It leaves you a sitting duck to whoever wants at you, and Chris you are making bad decisions, Brandon is a bad influence!”

[Chris is equally surprised at Phil’s revelations]

“Phil, Eric isn’t like Rich, he knows his dads done wrong, and he knows that he needs to set that straight, if he was like his dad he’d still be up north, and Phil you are my best friend, you were right for me not to go to the land of Supreme and I asking, no I’m begging you listen to me just this once. We can trust Eric Eisen. He isn’t his father”

[Phil just shrugs, he can’t believe what his friend has become but at the same time he knows Chris needs him.]

“Good luck, Chris”

[The two embrace.]

The first match in the competition of the night and it was one of the hardest fought and competitive matches in a long time with an excellent display of brawling from both men, Hell Monkey surprised many going toe to toe with Law until the very end when a Long Arm of the Law at 11:39 saw the match over for The Monkey.

 

Winner: Rick Law

 

"A simply hellacious brawl between these two men who have some of the most educated hands in wrestlin today!"

"That Long Arm of the Law almost took the Monkey's head off!"

[We cut away to the locker of The Angro-Fresh Connection where McClean is just arriving]

“Hey, John how’s it going? I haven’t seen you since last week, just before your match bad luck man.”

[McClean takes a condescending look at Gilmore]

“That’s the thing Tom, You have seen me since then, and in fact just after my match and it wasn’t until last night’s rerun of American Wrestling ‘only on GNN!’ did I see you come out only to abandon me as Guide beat the crap outta me!”

[Tom looks up in shock at his friend]

“Hey, John are you serious? You got yourself into that mess, you jumped him why should I get involved when you brought it right on yourself.”

“So why come out and then just leave John, why not forget the whole thing. Why would you, come out, think about only to turn your back on you tag team partner?”

“I ju…”

“I know why Tom, you’re selfish, you want that title and will stop at nothing. Nothing to get it and if that means leaving you buddy needing 8 stiches under my eye then you’ll do it,”

[John gets up and walks towards the door.]

“John, where you going, come on man think about it”

“I have ‘thought about it’ a lot actually as well as talking it over with a pal, so I’m off over there now, I know he treats his friends with respect.”

[Tom looks confused]

“Who?”

“Eric… Eric Eisen!”

[John slams the door, leaving a dejected Gilmore on his own.]

 

"Looks like tension between the Angro-Fresh."

"And it seems like Eric Eisen has reeled
another
wrestler into his 'promises'."

The crowd were really in this despite their hate for both men they got behind The AOD to take on the man they hate so much simply because they loved him so much and at times it seemed like The Angel wouldn’t disappoint with a near Hades Bomb being a highlight of The AOD’s chances, it was eventually a Danger Drop that sealed the clean win for Caulfield after 13:30.

 

Winner: Chris Caulfield

[After the video has played the lights come back on to see Chris Caulfield in a pool of blood, he is completely unconscious.]

 

"Good God, What was that about!"

" Not a clue Swoop, but someone isn't happy with Caulfield"

"And there is alot of people pissed at him right now."

The Big Cat took on The Cobra in a highly violent and intense brawl with neither man giving an inch, the match almost didn’t start as the brawl raged on the outside before we begun, when they were in the ring Brandon seemed to have the upper hand for the most part using some dirty trick to get the job done. There was however no question in the 14th minute when a Big Cat Pounce almost broke his sturdy opponent in half.

 

Winner: Big Cat Brandon

[At the end of the video a tired and dirty Guide makes one last sprint towards the finish which is by the camera, Guide looks straight into the camera for the first time]

[He then sprints back off into the course.]

The Main Event and the last first match round in the title tournament (American Wrestling Bracket) and it was a great match with the fans in it all the way, the revenge Nicky wanted was there for him to take and this actually left the very intelligent and tactical wrestler The Shooter to gain an edge for some of the match but a missed savate kick left The Shooter open to a thunderous Stronger Arm Tactic which led to the finish at 15:28

 

Winner: Nicky Champion

 

"And a great win for Nicky Champion who is another one of the top contenders in this tournament!"

[After his match Nicky Champion heads over to the announcers area to pick up his belt when from the crowd come Eric Eisen, Big Cat Brandon and Chris Caulfield.]

[big Cat runs and spears towards Champion but Nicky moves but straight after is lunged at by Chris Caulfield, Nicky block it however and jaws Caulfield who falls back, feeding off the adrenaline Nicky throws himself at Eric and starts pounding at his head, but it soon given a big boot to the head by Brandon who then throws him into the steel ring post, the US Champion falls back into a Danger Drop from Chris Caulfield right onto his championship belt, Eric Eisen then goes over to the announcers desk and removes the top of the table leaving the top exposed and Big Cat lifts him up for a huge Brandon Bomb.

But as he does he is clubbed in the back of the leg with a nightstick by Rick Law who is very uncharacteristically dressed in street gear and who the group didn’t spot when beating down Nicky Champion, but they have now and Chris Caulfield throws a right at him but is level with a shot to the gut, with him down Law has Eric one on one, something Eric isn’t used to, he throws a punch at Law like Chris before him but Rick ducks and gives Eric Eisen a Spinebuster through the announcers desk and the group is left in a heap as

the show goes off air.]

 

"FINALLY SOMEONE STANDS UP TO EISEN!"

"So join us next week to see more explosive action only on GNN"

Bruce the Immortal!

Former SWF and BHOTWG Legend Bruce The Giant has been inducted in the prestigious TEW.com Hall of Immortals, a Hall of Fame which is considered the most reliable in the world and is generally regarded as the official Hall of Fame, due to it's intricate scoring system.

 

Bruce retired after ending his career in two separate spells with USPW one during the Strong Era from 2006 - May 2010 when he declared himself too big for USPW, however after receiving no stonewall offers he rejoined the promotion, post-strong, nearly 18 months later. He was out of shape at first but soon got back to Bruce The Giant (then working as Bruce The Great) levels of fame with some impressive wins and an excellent run with the USPW US Champion as it's first holder for 17 months before losing to The Marksman. He left USPW again in May 2014 as his contract following an humiliation from Giant Khoklov, apparently unhappy at his treatment and not being the star of every show. Soon after he announced his retirement and was inducted this week and becomes 31st member of The HOI alongside his good friend Sam Strong.

[Joe puts his finger on Emma’s lips and she stops talking]

“I’m fine with that
but we need a little differentiation so how about the first guy pinned in the 5 on 5 Elimination match is dropped from the USPW roster, never to wrestler here again!”

[Emma considers it and then smirks]

“Oh, Joe that’s fine by me I’ll get my team ready but Sexy since you accepted my invitation to ‘come to Global for one night only,' you are under my command so I’m booking you next against Robbie Retro”

 

"Emma how rude is he?"

"I know Duane, don't I know"

"But were gonna teach then a lesson a the pay per view Emma, I can feel it."

The match was a real test for the head of American Wrestling who is put in this impromptu and started really slow but a low blow or two soon sort that out and it ends up with a One Night Stand Neckbreaker and Retro was done at 7:59.

But let’s now get too bogged down in that crap because tonight is a big night in USPW Global history as it’s the debut, the premiere, to the Round The World in 20 Minutes Open Challenge, in which The Marksman issues a weekly open challenge to any non-American in a 20 minute time limit singles match, each week The Marksman wins he will prove himself as the only World Champion, this continues next week in the tournament against the Englishman Jack Gierdoyc but this week anyone can take us on! And for each win The Marksman adds your flag to his tights!”

[8 month absentee Handsome Stranger comes down to a fairly warm reception to open the invitational.]

 

"Can you call this without me, somethings come up"

And the absence from the big leagues was notable and The Marksman absolutely battered The Marksman to a level that Handsome Stranger didn’t even get a successful offensive move in, with all of his signature moves done the Enzuigiri was inevitably followed by The Bullseye Super Kick which ended it all in 5:36.

“The reason I sent for you is I am looking for a team for The Born Enemies pay-per-view and I have chosen you guys as 2 of my members, as a great team unit already you could really add to the team, can I count on you?”

[Acid remains stern and still as the protégé Acid II nods to Chase who smile]

“Thanks boys and keep a look out I have word some American Wrestling guys are here”

[Acid II nods again as they leave the office.]

It was a good showing against the monster from Chance Fortune who was quick and agile and minimized the damage he would inevitably receive but really didn’t test the Giant more prolonged the misery as he did all he could to avoid the Moscow Lariat for about 5 minutes before a right hook left him as easy pickings for the Russian, who used the said Moscow Lariat to finish the man nicknamed Lucky at 9:32, when Chance’s luck ran out.

 

Winner: Giant Khoklov

As he turns the corner he is met by The Angel of Death from USPW American Wrestling, the monster clubs Acid and throws him into the wall he then hits Acid with various items and beating him in severe fashion, at the end The Angel of Death gives a painful Hades Bomb to Acid onto the concrete floor.]

The match was a hellacious display of two men really wanting a win and both did in fact seem slightly defensive for long parts of the match, knowing that a slip could allow their unmistakably talented opponents to take advantage and end it in a snapshot, this approach was first broken by Marc DuBois who hit an excellent springboard Moonsault on Enygma and really swung the match in his favour and that was really the move that won the match showing there is no risk without reward and he certainly showed that when he finished the match in 14:17 using the very high risk Shooting Star Legdrop to advance to the next round.

 

Winner: Marc DuBois

 

[After the match Enygma is in the ring looking dejected he is holding his ribs when Commissioner Chase moves from the commentary booth.]

“Enygma this may not be a good time but it’s the only time I’ve got so, Enygma you’re joining the Acid Experience in my Global team for Born Enemies in 2 weeks, so please take that time for a bit of R&R, take next week off, we need to win this!

And GM Joe if I see anything like that from any of your guys again, you’ll be getting a visit from a couple of our guys!”

[Enygma looks up and nods]

 

"And that's member number 3 selected this team is shaping up to be unbeatable."

"But Enygma just got beat, idiot!"

Champagne Lover certainly kept his promise with a flawless display against Randy Awesome, who despite a great performance, one of the best he’s had, could not find a break in CL’s defence as the prophesised ‘Latino Champion‘ pushed forward with his spectacular moves that caused great discomfort to Randy with his crippling submission which saw him on the brink a few times he did however manage himself free of most of the moves but he has no chance when hit with a Champagne Sunrise to the tag champion and won the match at 15:21.

 

Winner: Champagne Lover

Sammy is still looking hot since his debut last month and even stronger now he is going alone for the title and as he and Jimmy where very evenly matched these 2 had to give it their all in the match with neither man willing to back down, each outdoing the over the match ended as a slugging match with a great drama to it, but it was a spinning wheel kick pulled out by Bach which changed the match as the shot to the jaw took a lot out of Awesome who couldn’t stand after it. So Sammy picked him up and unleashed a GTS and hip toss backbreaker combo called The Bach: Catch, Detach and Dispatch and the match was done at 16:58.

It has been revealed today that USPW wrestler Handsome Stranger (Mikel Alonso) has left the promotion after his contract expired. Best known for Flex and Pecs V1.0 and V2.0 and then V1.0 again struggled in USPW when his partner of the time Frederico Antonia Garcia left the promotion and he didn't win a singles match in USPW and has most recently been working in USPW development territory AWA for most of 2014 and came back up as a sign of respect from USPW management on this weeks Global being squashed by The Marksman.

 

The split is said to be a mutual decision and the possibility of a new contract was never discussed by either party. Alonso was a 2 time tag champion during two separate spells with USPW and it is thought he may return to FCW but a reunion with his partner Frederico Antonia Garcia is not off the cards with SWF struggling for 'name' talent more than ever before.
