A fight ended by stomps! first time I have seen it in over 300 fights! - 'Blood Spirit' Hyun-Shik Lim vs. Affonso 'The Cyborg' Villar - From player-controlled event 'EFC: Fight For The Children' (from the save game 'Calinks 1') - Created 05 January 2011 >Next up is a match in which 'Blood Spirit' Hyun-Shik Lim fights Affonso 'The Cyborg' Villar in the EFC Light Heavyweight division. >And here we go! >They exchange strikes, but neither fighter inflicts any real damage. >Villar fakes as if going for a single leg, keeping Lim on his toes. >Both fighters come toe-to-toe and strike, but none of the strikes result in significant damage being done. >In close proximity from the strikes they threw, they fall into a messy clinch. >Lim is trying to push Villar so that his back is up against the cage. >Villar isn't going anywhere though, and manages to slip out of the grapple entirely. >Lim looks to move in and stand in the pocket. >Villar uses his strikes to stop Lim from getting too close. >Villar counters a left jab by using a stinging left jab. >Lim looks like he wants to stand in the pocket and strike with Villar. >Villar uses his strikes to stop Lim from getting too close. >We are now at the halfway point of the round. >There is an exchange of strikes, but neither fighter does any damage. >Having stepped in close to throw their strikes, they end up grappling. >Lim is trying to muscle Villar up against the cage. >Lim can't do it though, and Villar is able to get free. >Villar slips past a left jab and counters with a left jab to the cheek. >Moving forward, Villar counters a left jab with a big right kick to the outside of the thigh. >We're into the final minute of the round. >Moving in closer, Lim looks like he wants to strike from the pocket. >Villar uses his strikes to stop Lim from getting too close. >Lim looks to move in and stand in the pocket. >Keen to maintain some distance, Villar uses strikes to keep Lim away. >Round one is brought to an end as time runs out. >I have to give that round to Villar, but only a 10-9. >There's the bell for the start of the round! >From what we could hear of his corner, it sounds like Lim has been instructed to push the pace and try to overwhelm Villar in this round. >Villar throws a feint. >Villar counters a left jab with a kick to the inside of the left thigh. >Strikes to the leg like that will take their toll. >Villar slips past a left jab and fires back with a stinging left jab. >Lim gets Villar with a punch to the ribs, but it lacked power. >It seems that Villar is happy to let Lim circle for the moment. >Lim looks like he wants to stand in the pocket and strike with Villar. >Villar counters with a right hand that catches Lim flush...and he goes down! >Villar quickly goes for the kill, looking to stomp and kick the dazed Lim! >Villar goes to work on Lim with incredibly vicious stomps and kicks! >The referee finally jumps in, having seen enough brutality! >By TKO, the winner is Affonso Villar! >Official Result: Affonso 'The Cyborg' Villar defeats 'Blood Spirit' Hyun-Shik Lim (TKO (Strikes) in 2:40 of round 2).
