The Ultraviolent Underground [iDOMINATION 2010]

Recommended Posts

…His head bounced off the cage wall as it violently snapped back. He collapses down onto the black, weapon-strewn canvas and is left looking into the lights on the ceiling of The Arena. Soon enough, he pulls his bloody self up to interject his opponent from climbing the cage. His opponent fights him off and sends him crashing back down to the canvas with authority before continuing to climb. He gets back to his feet—fire in his eyes—and he stands in the middle of the ring. Drake Younger picks up a steel chair and launches it at the climbing Justice Pain. The chair catches him in the back and Pain is hanging off the cage wall with one hand.

The crowd start to come alive even more. The screaming and chanting that could be heard from them was deafening. Younger drags a barbwire board underneath Pain—who is still managing to hang from the cage wall, desperately trying to climb up. At the same time, Younger is propping up the barbwire board on two chairs, holding it in place as if it was table. Then in a quick moment, the bloody hero of the Combat Zone climbs up beside Pain and shoves him off, causing him to crash down into the barbwire board. Younger drops down, back into the weapon littered ring and dropped down for the lateral press, getting a two.

At that precise moment, Justice Pain’s associates from the H8 Club ran down. Nick Gage, Wifebeater and DJ Hyde stormed the ring. All three men start to attack Younger, beating him down with several stomps and punches before Gage hoisted him up and nails him with the Chokebreaker. With Younger down, all three H8 Club members start to try and help Pain exit the ring. Then suddenly, Philadelphia’s Most Wanted run out along with Scotty Vortekz trailing behind. Joker and B-Boy enter the cage first, brawling with both Gage and ‘Beater – getting more action stemming from their match earlier for the CZP Tag Team titles.

Vortekz meanwhile, slyly climbs up the cage walls and stands atop, overseeing the action. When the big monster of a man, Hyde saw him on top, it was too late. Scotty had already leaped off and he crushes Hatred with a cross body. With the whole match literally taking a turn for the worst, amongst all the action, Justice Pain is once again climbing up the cage. Younger follows and the two eventually are standing on the top of the cage wall. Soup-bones are thrown and Pain tries to end Younger’s career by throwing him down onto the concrete floor with a Pain Thriller – it doesn’t happen. Instead Younger battles out of it and throws Pain off the cage, back into the ring, onto everybody brawling inside. The action knocks them all down like bowling pins as the crowd go wild with chants of: “CZP! CZP! CZP!” Younger climbs down the cage and onto the concrete floor of the outside, as we now have a new CZP Heavyweight Champion. The ‘Psycho Shooter’ collapses down onto his knees – overjoyed with the fact that he’s accomplished something that has taken him a long time to achieve. With reality beginning to set in, Younger is given the belt and he clutches it in his arms before standing up and raising it in the air. The night ends with Younger parading around the ring with his newly won title…

THE AFTERMATH

Sunday, Week Four, December 2009

http://www.combatzonepro.com

We are two weeks removed from one of Combat Zone Pro’s biggest events of all-time as everyone who was packed into The Arena witnessed the crowning of a new Combat Zone Pro Heavyweight Champion. The ‘Psycho Shooter’ Drake Younger managed to escape the demonic structure that the event was built around, to lift the title. In a hard-fought battle, full of weapon shots and bumps, the hero of the Combat Zone managed to escape the Cage of Death to win. War was waged inside the structure as at one point in the match, Younger was almost thrown off the top of the cage onto the concrete floor down below with a Pain Thriller – but instead, countered and threw Justice Pain off the cage into the brawling interferers inside the ring.

In other events of note, Philadelphia’s Most Wanted defeated both Nick Gage and Wifebeater to win the CZP Tag Team titles. The duo of B-Boy and Joker were involved in a hard-hitting collision against the H8 Club members as they managed to come out on top via their devastating double stomp/Joker Driver combination to Nick Gage. Also at Cage of Death, Danny Havoc managed to retain his Ultraviolent Underground title in a four-way Fans Bring The Weapons deathmatch after sending J.C. Bailey through a glass table. Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley were also involved as the teammates tried to rid of their opponents, however they soon turned on eachother as they realised that only one could win the title.

Moving onto our next event in two weeks time titled ‘Aftermath’ as we have an impressive show lined up for all of you fans of the Combat Zone. The show will be headlined by a match which promises to be extremely exciting as the Ultraviolent Underground Champion—Danny Havoc—defends against the man who he pinned at Cage of Death: J.C. Bailey. In what seems to be a continuation of the ongoing saga between the two over the title. This match will be contested in the dreaded 4 Corners of Pain Deathmatch as four weapons will occupy the four corners of the ring. What weapons will they be? How dangerous will they be? How will they be used? Find out, at ‘Aftermath’.

In the co-main event of the evening, Trent Acid will make the first defence of his newly-won CZP Junior Heavyweight title against Johnny Gargano. Acid—who is in his third reign as champion—looked extremely impressive during his encounter with ‘The Guru’ Sonjay Dutt as he managed to defeat him with a Yakuza Kick, which was used as a counter to Dutt’s springboard clothesline attempt. For those thinking that Gargano will be an easy opponent for Acid, you might be wrong – dead wrong. Gargano earned the title shot back in November as he defeated ‘Quick’ Carter Gray and Cloudy in a three-way dance. He used his ‘Uniquely You’ finisher onto a set-up chair on Cloudy to earn him the victory. These two Junior Heavyweights will collide in two weeks time and only one can leave as the CZP Junior Heavyweight Champion.

‘Mr. Insanity’ Toby Klein will take on Devon Moore at ‘Aftermath’. Following the thrilling Last Team Standing Match where Klein and his partner Necro Butcher fended off Moore and his partner Masada, Devon has been looking for some revenge and he starts with Toby Klein. If you didn’t see the match at Cage of Death, Klein inflicted as much punishment as he could on Moore. But will he be able to do so again at ‘Aftermath’? Find out in two weeks time.

The strained partnership of Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley seemed to have taken a turn for the worst at Cage of Death, but they still remain a team and at ‘Aftermath’ they will team up together with the addition of the ‘Irish Hotshot’ Ryan McBride to take on ‘Spyder’ Nate Webb, Cloudy and ‘Quick’ Carter Gray.

Tickets for ‘Aftermath’ will be available on http://www.combatzonepro.com but will also be available at the door of The Arena. However, we cannot promise that there’ll be any spare tickets left or tickets for the good seats.

Combat Zone Pro Presents…

AFTERMATH 2010

Live From: The Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Saturday, Week Two, January 2010

With the Combat Zone still being assembled and the crowd waiting quietly, Mad Season’s “I Don’t Know Anything” blasts through the speaker system with such force that it startles some of the crowd members. Through the black curtain on the stage comes the man who calls himself the ‘Ultraviolent All-Star’ and former four-time Combat Zone Pro Heavyweight Champion: Justice Pain. Wearing a ‘Justice Pain’ t-shirt with a noose on the front (available for purchase on www.combatzonepro.com) and dark blue jeans, Pain is not prepared to wrestle for tonight. Grabbing a microphone from one of the ring staff situated at ringside, Pain rolls inside the ring…

Justice Pain: “Cut the music!”

The music continues…

Justice Pain: “I SAID CUT THE ****ING MUSIC!”

The music stops…

Justice Pain: “As you all may of seen last month, I lost my title. The title that I defended around the world. The title that I put on the map. The title that I defended for nearly two years straight. The title that I ma—“

The crowd breaks out into an early “Shut the **** up!” chant which is the first of the evening and quite shockingly the first of the year, the chant leaves Pain somewhat frustrated…

Justice Pain: “No Philadelphia, why don’t YOU shut the **** up! I come here to grace you with my presence and you treat me like this? You treat a four-time Combat Zone Pro Heavyweight Champion like this? You know, the problem with this place is – lack of respect. You all show it and your current Combat Zone Pro Heavyweight Champion shows it right now. And that’s why I came out here. Drake Younger. I was robbed of a victory at Cage of Death…That’s right, I was robbed.”

The crowd just boo incredibly loudly and become hostile towards Pain, once again bringing up a “Shut the **** up!” chant.

Justice Pain: “You’re all telling me to shut the **** up because it’s the ****ing truth! There was interference not on my behalf. THERE WERE THREE OF THEM! They all jumped me. They all prevented me from leaving the cage! They were the only reason I was thrown off the cage! And as a former Heavyweight Champion and the holder of that title for nearly two years. At this very point in time, right here and right now, I’m going to announce that I am using my rematch clause. Yeah, that’s right, rematch clause and next month I will—What the **** do you want?”

Suddenly, the Combat Zone explode into cheers as Drake Younger steps through the curtain with the Heavyweight title firmly fixed to his shoulder. Wearing a ‘Naptown Dragon’ t-shirt along with black jeans, Younger has a microphone in his right hand. He lifts it towards his mouth, the crowd become silent…

Drake Younger: “I was standin’ there around the back and all of this bull**** you’re saying, isn’t really the right way to go about it, boy. In fact—“

Justice Pain: “Boy?”

Drake Younger: “Yeah, boy. You see Pain, you’re standin’ around and bitchin’ about how you lost your title and I’ve heard enough. All these people, who paid good money, have heard enough. And all the boys in the back of heard enough…”

Justice Pain: “…Drake, Drake, just stop. Why don’t you turn your punk ass around and walk back through that curtain, because I don’t wanna have to beat you down before our rematch…”

Drake Younger: “Rematch? I’m sorry, who said anything about a rematch. There are about of boys in the back who deserve more of a title shot than you do, you’re going to have to get to the back of the line.”

Justice Pain: “I’m sorry, you didn’t hear me correctly. Let me just slow it down for you and make sure you actually hear it properly because when you’re all the way back there, you most probably can’t hear it how I say it…Alright, here it goes: I. Want. A. Title. Match. And. I. Want. It. Next. Month.”

Drake Younger: “I heard what you said and it isn’t happening. I’d rather beat someone else than beating you yet again for the title…But you know what Pain?”

Drake slowly puts his title to the ground and advances down the walkway…

Drake Younger: “I’mma come down to the ring…”

Younger walks up the ring-stairs and onto the apron…

Drake Younger: “I’mma go through these ropes…”

Younger enters the ring…

Drake Younger: “Come face to face with you…”

Younger approaches Pain…

Drake Younger: “And let you have a free shot boy.”

Justice just smiles and turns away from Younger as he drops his microphone. He reaches back and then strikes him with a right hand. Younger retaliates with a series of shots, rocking the former Combat Zone Pro Heavyweight Champion and putting him against the ropes. The ‘Psycho Shooter’ takes a few steps back and shouts at the crowd, getting them to cheer, but when he turns his attention towards Justice Pain, Pain is already gone to the outside. Within a matter of seconds, the other members of the H8 Club—Nick Gage, Wifebeater (accompanied by Dewey Donovon) and DJ Hyde—all run down and blindside the Heavyweight Champion from behind. All three men like a pack of wild dogs start to beat down on Younger, but the ‘Psycho Shooter’ begins to fight back with all of his might. He shoves all three away and begins to strike away at Wifebeater before trying to lift him up for the Drake’s Landing, but Gage intercepts and grabs him by the throat to hoist him airwards and bring him back down with one of the most feared moves in the Combat Zone – the Chokebreaker. The Indianan flops around lifelessly on the canvas as Wifebeater jumps around the ring. Gage raises Younger on his feet and DJ Hyde—like a massive dart—runs across the ring and strikes Younger with his devastating Shadow Lariat. Justice Pain watches his brother (Gage) and his associates beat down on the Heavyweight Champion until sounds of Pain can be heard on the house microphone…

Justice Pain: “Pick him up! Pick him the **** up!”

Pain tears the ring apron open and pulls out something that cannot be seen. Pain rolls inside the ring and then holds up what he got from underneath the ring. It’s a massive steel chain which becomes tangled with his arm as he lifts it up. Both DJ Hyde and Wifebeater hold Younger by his arms and bring him to his knees. Pain once again raises the chain skywards and then slams it down on the head of Younger. The crowd gasp in shock as Pain motions to do it again…This time, he brings his arm back slightly and brings it down with more force than before. The clanging of the chain rings through The Arena as Pain strikes Younger once more and tries to do so for a second time, but the lights go out and gunshots can be heard throughout The Arena, the lights start to flicker around the ringside area as mist starts to emerge from behind the curtain on stage. Out step the Combat Zone Pro Tag Team Champions—Philadelphia’s Most Wanted—Joker and B-Boy, both in street clothes and in a matter of seconds, they run down to the ring and slide in to do battle with all four members of the H8 Club. The Tag Team Champions manage to dominate all four for the first few seconds, but become victims of the numbers game as all four men, begin to stomp on the Tag Team Champions. Almost immediately, yellow-shirt ring staff flood the ring and prevent anymore damage by escorting all four members of the H8 Club out of the ring and up the walkway and eventually out of the building. Back inside the ring, a medic is on hand to check on Drake Younger as it seems like he’s got an injury of some sort. Younger is moved slowly onto a stretcher placed in the ringside area as Joker and B-Boy look on at the champion being wheeled out of The Arena. With that explosive start to the show, we move onto our first match of the evening…

______________

The Dropkick Murphy’s “Shipping Out To Boston” begins to play as our opening contest is several moments away from getting under way. The lights shine a green hue brightly all around The Arena and the ‘Irish Hotshot’ Ryan McBride steps out through the curtain. He outstretches his arms and receives a negative reaction from the crowd. Wearing green and black tights, the Bostonian walks down the walkway and then begins to sprint full-speed and slides inside the ring…

Larry Legend: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your opening contest and it is a Six Man Tag Team Match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, he is part of team number one. He hails from Boston, Massachusetts…Weighing in at one-hundred and eighty-five pouds…The ‘Irish Hotshot’…RYAN MCBRIIIIIDE!

McBride brings himself to his feet and starts bouncing off the ropes in wait for his partners. “Space Dementia” by Muse proceeds “Shipping Out To Boston” as the lights dim. The eerie piano chorus at the start of the song cannot be heard through the crowd’s hostility to the team that’s coming out next. The lights start to flicker and the deranged team of Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley walk down the walkway towards the ring. Sami is wearing his traditional ripped jean shorts and black singlet whilst Moxley opts for a more traditional wrestling attire of black short tights, knee pads and boots. Both men approach the ring slowly, not paying any attention to the hate they are drawing in. The duo hop onto the ring apron at the same time and also enter at the same time before going to opposite turnbuckles and throwing their arms up in the air…

Larry Legend: “And his partners…Both hailing from their own personal hell by way of the state of Ohio…Weighing in at a combined weight of four-hundred and twenty pounds… The ‘New Horror’ and the ‘Street Dog’…SAAAAAAAMI CAAAAAAALLIHAN and JOOOOOOON MOOOOOOOXLEY!”

Both Moxley and Callihan jump down onto the canvas in stereo and wait with Ryan McBride for their opponents for the night. “Space Dementia” fades out as the crowd go deathly silent. Not one utterance from anyone. The silence disappears once Wheatus’ “Teenage Dirtbag” begins to play and the crowd start to clap along in tune to it. The man they call the ‘Spyder’ jumps through the curtain dancing around and the crowd love every moment of it. Webb continuously jumps about and eventually stops to call out his partners. Both Cloudy and ‘Quick’ Carter Gray step out and join Webb in dancing around. All three do Michael Jackson’s famous moonwalk in sync and the crowd cheer loudly for it. The trio turn their attention to the ring and storm it, scaring off their opponents…

Larry Legend: “And their opponents…NAAAAATE WEBB! CARTER GRAY! And CLOOOOUDY!”

Referee Brett Lauderdale is quick to go over the rules with the three men who have just entered the ring and once the other team have entered, he calls for the bell…

[six Man Tag Team Match]

[Ryan McBride, Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley versus Nate Webb, Cloudy and Carter Gray]

The opening match of the night starts off with Nate Webb and Ryan McBride being the legal men. Webb—still in a dancing mood—starts to swing his arms and two-step, McBride looks on and despite hesitating, he strikes Webb with a right hand. Webb retaliates with a left which he follows up with a right. The ‘Irish Hotshot’ tries to strike back but ends up getting sent across the ring. He bounces off the ropes and runs straight into a devastating back elbow from Webb who moves himself over the fallen McBride and starts to shake his knees, he leaps up into the air and comes down on him with a knee drop similar to that used by Brian James Armstrong in Memphis Championship Wrestling. The first pinfall of the night is made and Ryan manages to get the shoulder up at one, causing Webb to get back on the offense. He raises the Bostonian to his feet and applies an arm wringer, twisting his arm continuously. The pain is too much for McBride as Webb once again twists his arm, flipping him over onto the mat in the process. Webb still has a hold of the ‘Hotshot’s’ arm but his opponent pops up with a kip-up and takes his arm instead. With the ‘Spyder’ trapped in an arm wringer, McBride decides to pick apart the arm with several shots. After a kick to the bicep, the man with Irish blood in his roots drags Webb to his team’s corner and Jon Moxley tags in. The man they call the ‘Street Dog’ picks up from where McBride left off and that’s picking apart the arm of the ‘Spyder’. Moxley pulls Nate into the middle of the ring and tries to lock in an arm wringer; however, he gets thrown across the ring with an arm drag and Nate Webb counters his move. Instantaneously after the arm drag, Webb makes a tag to the smallest man in the match: Cloudy…

The former World Ultraviolent Underground Champion careers towards Moxley, pounding him with right and left forearms to the small of the back; Moxley shoves Cloudy away, the man who weighs in at two-thousand and thirty-two liquid ounces comes back, doing the same clubbing blows. Cloudy continues to pound away and Moxley eventually knees him in the mid-section, leaving him bent over. Moxley hits an elbow strike to the back of the head and Cloudy finds himself on his knees; Moxley locks his right arm in a chickenwing. Using his own free left arm, Jon is able to wrap it around the throat of the man from the ‘Electric City’, executing the crossface chickenwing. Cloudy’s arms flail wildly whilst Moxley tightens his hold, looking for an early submission victory. He refuses to submit forcing the ‘Street Dog’ to drag him back into his team’s corner and Sami Callihan tags in. He leaps over the top rope into the ring and Moxley tightens the hold even more. With Brett Lauderdale counting the five-count for the illegal partner (Moxley), Sami stares at Cloudy and takes a few paces back. The ‘New Horror’ sprints and boots Cloudy in the face! The crowd boo loudly once Sami begins to stomp away at Cloudy, at the same time, Jon exits the ring and onto the apron. The deranged individual places his foot across the throat of the blonde haired wrestler and uses the ropes for extra leverage, executing an illegal-choke. Brett Lauderdale is quick to remind Sami that he has until the count of five to let go. Callihan releases his choke for a slight second and then places his foot on the throat of Cloudy once again. After four seconds, Sami releases his foot and places it down yet again, continuously choking the former World Ultraviolent Underground Champion.

The ‘New Horror’ roughly pulls Cloudy towards his feet and lights him up with a stiff open palm chop, the sound echoes throughout the ring and the crowd scream “Woooooo!” in response to the chop, another one follows and then another; leaving Cloudy’s chest a reddish colour. Callihan’s chops leave the five foot five young man on the ropes and he moves in for the kill – looking for another one. Cloudy evades the chop and starts to light up Sami with right hands. Sami goes downstairs with a knee to the mid-section and locks Cloudy in a front facelock, pulling back and looking for a suplex. A knee to the top of the head causes Sami to drop Cloudy on his feet and the New York native makes his way across the ring and back again, catching the ‘New Horror’ with a multiple-revolution headscissors, flipping him across the squared-circle. Callihan slides to the outside and takes a stroll around ringside, running his hands through his hair and letting his frustration show, he stops to get in the face of a fan, however, his loss of focus costs him…Cloudy quickly utilizes the opportunity which has presented itself and leaps over the top rope with a corkscrew topé, knocking the ‘New Horror’ down onto the concrete floor! The Combat Zone gets on their feet, cheering for the man from the Electric City. Cloudy manages to pick himself up and roll himself in the ring, tagging out to the man they call ‘Quick’; Carter Gray.

Gray looks around the ring for a few seconds allowing Sami to reach his feet at ringside, once he does, like a bat out of hell, Gray sprints towards the ropes and leaps over the ropes with a topé con hilo! Callihan falls to the ground and Gray lands on his feet, running around the perimeter of ringside slapping all the fans hands. Callihan rolls himself in the ring and Carter soon follows. The ‘New Horror’ slowly reaches his feet and the ‘Quick’ one takes him from behind, lifting him up like he’s going for a back suplex. The deranged individual is able to fight off Gray and drop down, immediately making the tag to the ‘Irish Hotshot’ who runs in and knocks Gray down with a clothesline. He runs through Gray once again and taunts the crowd by pointing at himself and shouting out that he’s the ‘man’. Carter sluggishly reaches his feet and gets a kick in the gut, he finds himself locked in a front facelock. McBride hooks Gray’s left leg and pulls back, lifting him skywards. He takes a few steps forward and drops him on his head with a Fisherman’s DDT! He quickly applies a small package straight afterwards in an attempt to get the pinfall…

ONE!

TWO!

THR-GRAY KICKS OUT!

The ‘Irish Hotshot’ looks at Brett Lauderdale in disgust and shouts at him for not counting quicker. McBride stands up and begins to drag Carter to the northwest corner of the ring. He does it with ease and leaves him centimeters away from the corner. Ryan starts to climb up to the top rope and once he reaches, he doesn’t hesitate – McBride leaps off with a Shooting Star Press, but Carter rolls out the way and there’s nobody home! The Bostonian holds onto his stomach as if all of his internal organs are going to fall out and somehow manages to stand. He walks right into Gray who lifts him up and slams him down with a spinebuster before hooking the leg looking for the one-two-three. It is not to be, Jon Moxley breaks up the pinfall before being ushered back to his corner. It does not take long for both men to reach a vertical base and once they have, it’s Ryan who makes the first move, going in for a haymaker. Gray counters it and hits a right hand but McBride is quick to counterstrike with a devastating enziguri! ‘Quick’ Carter Gray staggers to the left and Ryan pops back up and scoops him up onto his shoulders. After a three-hundred and sixty degree spin, he runs towards the middle of the ring and hits a massive death valley driver! With Gray spread out all over the canvas, Ryan decides to drag him into the middle of the ring. He grabs both of his legs and calls for the Irish Cloverleaf and locks it in, turning Gray over onto his stomach. The former Combat Zone Pro Junior Heavyweight Champion has problems trying to escape the hold, but makes an attempt at crawling towards the ropes. With McBride contorting his body in several different directions, the pain is too much for him to crawl to the ropes – help is on the way as Nate Webb hops inside the ring and strikes McBride at the back of the head, sending him crashing to the outside. Webb follows and so does Cloudy as the two start to brawl with the Bostonian.

Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan drop down from the apron and meet Webb and Cloudy to give their teammate some assistance. The five brawl around ringside whilst Carter is still left inside the ring by himself. Soon, everyone is huddled up near the ring apron and Gray is ascending to the top turnbuckle near them. With no fear in his eyes, Gray stands and leaps off with a 630 senton, knocking everyone down like bowling pins! The crowd get on their feet and start to chant “Holy ****!” over and over again, some of the fans look over the guard rail to see all six men just laid out on the cold, hard concrete floor. The first man to get up is the man who executed the 630 senton—Carter Gray—he lifts Ryan McBride to his feet and rolls him in the ring, rolling in afterwards. He makes the lateral press pinfall and somehow only gets a two, to his disappointment. Cloudy and Jon Moxley suddenly emerge on their separate aprons, waiting for tags and soon enough, they both become the legal men. Round two between this men begins now and Moxley tries taking Cloudy’s head off with a clothesline, which the smaller and much faster Cloudy ducks and follows through. Cloudy rebounds and picks up speed, but runs into a massive Moxicity! The spinning side slam takes the wind out of Cloudy as the ‘Street Dog’ makes the cover…

ONE!

TWO!

THR-CARTER GRAY BREAKS UP THE PINFALL!

The crowd scream out loud as Carter Gray starts to put boots into Moxley. The ‘Irish Hotshot’ stands up and with all that he’s got left, clotheslines the ‘Quick’ one over the top rope whilst taking himself out at the same time. Meanwhile, Moxley is already making moves to finish the match. He lifts Cloudy up onto his shoulders in the electric chair position and spins around towards Sami Callihan who is on the southwest turnbuckle. Callihan leaps off, looking for the move that the Road Warriors made famous…Sami extends his arm for the clothesline, but Cloudy comes alive and quickly plants the ‘Street Dog’ on the canvas—head first—with a reverse hurricanrana! Callihan meanwhile crashes and burns! The crowd once again come alive as ‘Spyder’ Nate Webb is on the apron, calling for the tag and being the only fresh man in the match, he could be the only one able to pick up the ‘W’ for his team. Cloudy begins to crawl on all-fours towards Webb and he eventually makes the ‘hot tag’…

As soon as Webb puts one foot inside the ring, Callihan is back on the apron and manages to tag himself in and he hops into the ring. Both men charge at eachother and collide in the middle of the ring with a clothesline! The impact of it all sends both men flying across the ring and the end result is what seems like a car wreck on the I-95. Webb and Sami stand at around about the same time and walk towards eachother, delivering forearms to eachother’s faces. With neither man backing down, Webb switches it up by trying for an Irish whip; instead, he’s thrown to the ropes. He springs back and catches the ‘New Horror’ with a Arachnid Kick! The impact of the corkscrew roundhouse kick makes Sami fall like a tree in a forest and Nate jumps on him for the pinfall but gets a two. The ‘Spyder’ gets upright and stalks Callihan to his feet. He lifts him onto his shoulders and calls for the Soylent Green II (it’s still people). Callihan quickly elbows away at Webb and drops down behind him. Callihan quickly scoops him up and drops him on his neck with a backdrop driver! The impact of the move folds Nate up like an accordion and Sami follows up by tangling the ‘Spyder’ in his own web with the Stretch Muffler, dead centre in the ring. The ‘New Horror’ tears away at the whole leg whilst Webb screams in total agony. Jon Moxley gets back up and spots Cloudy trying to make the save, but knocks him down with a spear and at the same time Webb taps out!

[Winners Via Submission: Ryan McBride, Sami Callihan and Jon Moxley]

The bell rings loudly and Callihan keeps the Stretch Muffler locked in for a few extra seconds. Soon enough, Brett Lauderdale has to pull him off two raise the team’s hand in victory. He raises both Moxley’s and Callihan’s hand and does the same with a seemingly lifeless Ryan McBride once he rolls inside the ring. The Combat Zone boo loudly but all three men do not care the slightest. Sami surveys the carnage around the ring. With ‘Quick’ Carter Gray laying against the guard rail, Nate Webb holding his knee in the middle of the ring and Cloudy trying to puoll himself up using the ropes, Callihan loudly deems this match a successful victory. The trio leave the ring as the crowd prepare for the second match of the night.

“Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd rings out through The Arena. The crowd cheer loudly once Toby Klein steps through the black curtain. Decked out in a ‘Mr. Insanity’ t-shirt (available at http://www.combatzonepro.com), cargo shorts and signature leopard print knee pads, ‘Mr. Insanity’ walks down the walkway woofing like a dog. Every time he woofed, the crowd woofed back. Klein slides inside the ring and stands to his feet. He continues to woof loudly and the crowd continue to woof back. He runs by referee Nick Papagiorgio as Larry Legend takes centre stage…

Larry Legend: “Ladies and gentlemen, the next match is a singles contest and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from the Land of Insanity by way of the Highlands…He weighs in at two-hundred and twenty pounds…‘Mr. Insanity’…TOOOOBY KLEEEEEIN!

Once his name is said, the crowd go wild and start to woof. They soon become silent and Klein eagerly awaits the arrival of his opponent. “Notorious B.I.G.” by Biggie Smalls takes over the sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd as the crowd prepare for the self-proclaimed ‘Prince of Philadelphia’s’ arrival. The loud booing bellows through The Arena on this cold Philadelphia night and eventually, the lights go out. Suddenly, they come back on and Devon Moore is standing behind Toby Klein with a lead pipe in hand. ‘Mr. Insanity’ does not realise as the crowd start to scream, despite all of the clues being there, Devon Moore is able to clock Klein in the back of the head with the pipe. Larry Legend gets out of the ring as Devon starts to swing for the fences with the lead pipe (Scott Steiner would be proud), striking a now bloody Toby Klein. Moore stops and tosses the weapon outside of the ring and shouts at Papagiorgio to ring the bell, which he does…

[singles Match]

[Toby Klein versus Devon Moore]

Devon gives off a sickly smile and starts to kick away at the bloody body of Toby Klein. Clearly having the massive advantage, Devon relishes in the moment, realizing that he can get even from what happened at Cage of Death. Moore leaves the ring and makes his way towards the timekeeper, shoving him off and picking up the chair. Moore gets back inside the ring and much like he did with the lead pipe, he starts swinging for the fences with the chair. Klein rolls over onto his back as Moore tosses the chair aside and makes his way to the top rope in th southwest corner. “You know what this is? This is payback!” shouts Moore at the top of his lungs and he leaps off with a picture-perfect shooting star press. He hooks the leg immediately after impact to get the three in the shortest match of the night thus far.

[Winner Via Pinfall: Devon Moore]

Moore gets up to his feet—victorious—having his arm raised by Nick Papagiorgio. The crowd strongly disapprove of Moore’s actions as the ‘Prince of Philadelphia’ takes a bow in each direction of the squared circle, causing the fans to throw their garbage inside the ring. It does not take long for Devon Moore to get a hold of the microphone…

Devon Moore: “Thank you Philly, thank you! It’s been great for y’all to be in attendance to watch your Prince **** up Toby Klein.”

The crowd boo even more as Moore kneels down beside the bloody ‘Mr. Insanity’.

Devon Moore:Toby? Yo’ Toby? I don’t know if ya’ can hear me, but I’m gonna say it anyway…Think of this, as me gettin’ even for last month. **** Masada. I don’t need him to take you two ‘Tough Crazy Bastards’ out. I can do it myself. One-by-****ing-one, and y’know who’s next? NECRO…****IN’…BUTCHER!”

“Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd strikes The Arena and out comes the Necro Butcher, in street clothes. The bearded madman of the Combat Zone charges down to the ring and slides in, Moore freezes for a slight second and pays the price as Butcher swings wildly with his fists, eventually knocking down the ‘Prince of Philadelphia’ and once Devon hits the canvas, he bails. Moore hightails it through the angry crowd as Butcher stands tall, looking down on his friend, Toby Klein and checking on him.

______________

“Gold Gun Girls” by Metric sounds off as the Combat Zone gets onto it’s feet. Lights start to flicker and mist starts to seep through the curtain, soon engulfing the top of the walkway. Eventually a hooded figure comes through the mist. His hand reaches for the hood and tears it off as it is revealed to be Johnny Gargano. The man who dubs himself the ‘The Whole Shebang’ confidently walks down the walkway, slapping the fans hands. He rolls inside the ring and gets on one knee, raising his arm in the air before standing up and taking his jacket off, revealing black and gold short tights, matching colour boots and also a matching colour armband located on his right arm. Gargano is given a run down of the rules by Brett Lauderdale before he ascends to the top rope and gets a chorus of cheers.

Gargano warms up on the right side of the ring as “Gold Gun Girls” fades out. Giorgio Moroder’s “The Chase” from the film the “Midnight Express” pollutes the airwaves as once again the lights begin to flicker. With mist seeping through the curtain once again and through the curtain comes the Combat Zone Junior Heavyweight Champion. And as expected, the Combat Zone start to hurl abuse at Acid—“**** you Acid! **** you Acid!”—rhythm consistent throughout the chants as Acid comes into the light, revealing a priest’s robe with the title hanging from the neck of the robe. Acid reaches ringside and taunts a young teenager, prompting the teenager to try and hit him but Acid just flips him off with a one-finger salute and carries on about his business. He reaches the ringside area, getting into more altercations with fans before jumping on the apron and tossing off his priest robe. Acid looks directly at Gargano and then a ****-eating grin is seen upon his face. He enters the ring and spins a full three-hundred and sixty degrees before going to the ropes and jumping up and down on the second one…Acid leaps off the second rope and once again spins three-hundred and sixty degrees before finally turning his focus to Johnny Gargano. With Brett Lauderdale holding both men back, Larry Legend takes centre stage…

Larry Legend: “Ladies and gentlemen! This is your co-main event, of the evening! And it is for the Combat Zone Pro JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, standing to my right, he is the challenger! Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio…Weighing in at one-hundred and ninety-nine pounds… ‘The Bee’s Knees, the Cat’s Pyjamas and the Whole Shebang!’…JOOOOOHNNNNNNNY GARGAAAAAANO!

Gargano raises his right arm in the air as the crowd loudly applaud him, at the same time Legend turns his attention to the champion…

Larry Legend: “…And his opponent, standing to my left! Hailing from the Vatican in South Philadelphia—“

Acid shows his ****-eating grin once again as the crowd start chanting “**** you Acid!” once again…

Larry Legend: “…Weighing in at one-hundred and eighty pounds…He is the ‘International Superstar’…He is the ‘Saviour of the Combat Zone’…and he also so happens to be ‘Holy’…He is the REINGING and DEFENDING Combat Zone Junior Heavyweight Champion…TREEEEEEENT ACIIIIIIID!

Acid once again twirls and this time, the crowd start to throw rubbish at the self-proclaimed ‘Holy’ one. Legend exists the ring and takes a seat at ringside as Brett Lauderdale once again goes through the rules of the match before asking for the bell to be rung…

[Combat Zone Pro Junior Heavyweight Title Match]

[Trent Acid© versus Johnny Gargano]

Brett Lauderdale backs himself into the southwest corner to let these two men get it on as the crowd were still expressing their hate for Trent Acid. The ‘International Superstar’ makes the ****-eating grin once again and extends his hand towards Johnny Gargano. The ‘Whole Shebang’ places his hands on his hips and then turns his attention to the crowd… “What do you think I should do? Shall I shake his hand?” The crowd boo as Gargano shakes his head in disappointment and shouts aloud: “I’m gonna shake his hand!” He accepts the handshake of the Junior Heavyweight Champion as he pulls him in and nails him with a knee to the gut. Johnny starts to pound on the back of Acid as he retreats backwards into the south set of ropes. Acid manages to get out of his hunched over state and lean back on the ropes, receiving a strong and stiff knife edge chop to the chest. Gargano fires another one at the chest and grabs his left arm, he pulls back going for the Irish whip and sends Acid to the north set of ropes, immediately however, the Junior Heavyweight Champion bails to the outside. As soon as his feet touch the concrete floor, Acid walks around the ringside area, avoiding any possibilities of getting dived on by Gargano.

Taking his time, Acid leaps onto the apron and just stands there. He soon enters the ring and starts to circle the ring with the ‘Whole Shebang’. Both men lock up and immediately come to a stalemate. Both men let go and have another try at a lock up and it’s Acid who takes control, transitioning to a headlock. The hold doesn’t last long as Gargano breaks out of it and sends Acid towards the ropes. The ‘Holy’ one rebounds off the ropes and manages to leap over a bent over Gargano with a sunset flip, however, Gargano rolls through and gets to his feet. He tries to aim a sharp kick at the face of Acid, Acid lays onto his back thus avoiding the shot and allowing Gargano to spin around. The defending champion pops back up and rolls him up for the first pinfall of the match-up, only to get a one as Johnny immediately kicks out. Both men get back to a vertical base and stare at eachother for a brief moment before Gargano goes for a right hand. Acid counters with an arm drag from which the ‘Whole Shebang’ pops right up from and walks into another. Gargano gets up once again and this time manages to prevent the Junior Heavyweight Champion from hitting another arm drag; a knee to the gut allows for the challenger to throw the champion over with a Japanese variant of the arm drag. Unlike the other variants of the arm drags, the Japanese variant packs more force and it is because of this, Acid is unable to get up straight away.

Taking advantage of the disruption of speed, Johnny is able to catch his breath before lifting up Trent Acid who was on all-fours. He rests Acid’s back on the top rope before pulling back and attempting to Irish whip him across the ring – Acid counters the attempt, instead hurling Johnny towards the ropes and running after him. However, the challenger is able to leap onto the second rope and springboard off with a mighty springboard dropkick directly into the face of Trent! The Junior Heavyweight Champion rolls around on the canvas, covering his mouth with both of his taped up hands as Johnny goes for the cover. Acid just about avoids losing his title by kicking out at two-and-three-quarters, leaving the Combat Zone disappointed that a new champion isn’t going to be crowned. Johnny rises to his feet. Acid gets onto his knees, still hurting from taking two feet to the face. Slightly in a groggy state, Acid does not know where he is. Gargano—sensing this—runs to the opposite set of ropes and back again before taking the ‘International Superstar’ by the neck and slamming him down with the ‘baby’ version of the Ace Crusher, planting Acid face first into the canvas. Gargano goes for the cover once more…

ONE…

TWO…

THR-KICKOUT!

Acid valiantly kicks out, once again to the crowd’s disappointment. Gargano gets to his knees and puts his hands on his hips. His face shows the expression of disappointment. He stands whilst pulling the hair of Acid so that he could get to a vertical base. He turns him around and hooks him up with the full nelson hold, looking like he’s going for the move entitled: Uniquely You. The same move that got him to this match. Acid suddenly comes back alive, not wanting to become a victim to it and eventually breaks away after a sharp elbow. Gargano stumbles away and comes back, walking into a right hand from Acid sending him into a trance. Acid locks in a front facelock and pulls back with a suplex before getting back to his feet. With the ****-eating grin once again emerging on his face, he begins to clap. The crowd surprisingly clap along as Acid slowly but surely makes it down to one knee beside Gargano and then starts to blatantly choke his opponent with both of his hands. He releases one of the hands to show the crowd the one finger salute sending them into an uproar. Acid is eventually told to lose his grip and he does. He lifts Gargano to his feet and then lights him up with a knife edge chop following that by twisting him into a dragon sleeper position. Acid looks like he’s going for the reverse DDT, however the ‘Whole Shebang’ is able to lift him up into an Oklahoma slam position. With Acid trapped, Gargano runs towards the southwest turnbuckle and then tosses the Junior Heavyweight Champion into the top turnbuckle like he’s a dart!

The crowd let out the collective “Oh!” as Acid lifts himself up from the seated position he was left in. Meanwhile, in the opposite corner of the ring, Gargano is preparing for something big. Acid finally turns his attention towards Gargano, he sees him charging towards him and manages to dive out the way and it lets the challenger to the Combat Zone Pro Junior Heavyweight title crash and burn on the top turnbuckle – knees first. Gargano is able to stand instead of fall to the canvas, and it’s blood in the water for the shark Acid who sprints towards him at a lightning-quick pace, knocking him over the top rope with a strong clothesline. The ‘Whole Shebang’ tumbles to the outside and into a guard rail, leaving Acid in the ring. Johnny’s on wobbly legs, he is somehow able to get himself off the guard rail – the poor timing of his movement costs him. Back inside the ring, Acid made a running start. Using the ropes to rebound, he starts to gather speed and that’s enough for him to hurl himself over the top rope with a corkscrew plancha onto Gargano! Johnny falls to the concrete floor as Acid rolls off of him and jumps up to come eye-to-eye with an angry fan who shoves him. The Junior Heavyweight Champion smirks before shoving the fan and taking his chair, throwing it inside the ring.

Both men re-enter the squared-circle and Acid immediately picks up the steel chair he threw inside the ring and sets it up in the middle of the ring. The Junior Heavyweight Champion lifts Gargano to his feet and tries sending him to the ropes, Gargano counters and instead sends Acid to the ropes and sends him face-first into the chair with a drop toe hold! Acid may of broken his nose with that move and the ‘Whole Shebang’ seems poised to make sure. With Acid on his knees, he hooks him in a full nelson hold and roughly pulls him towards his feet. Acid fights and fights. It does not matter as Gargano lifts him sky-high and drops him with the Uniquely You! Face first on the seat of the steel chair! The ‘International Superstar’ ricochets off the steel chair and sprawls across the canvas, Gargano hooks the leg, looking to score a second victory with this very move…

ONE!

TWO!

THR-ACID GETS THE SHOULDER UP!

The crowd is in a state of shock along with Johnny Gargano and referee, Acid somehow manages to roll all the way to the outside of the ring whilst the challenger to the title argues with the referee about how he counted the pinfall. Acid meanwhile grabs his title from the timekeeper’s table and tries to make a getaway up the walkway. He reaches the top of the said walkway, Gargano spots him and sprints after him. Acid disappears behind the curtain after seeing a charging challenger. After a few seconds, Acid is thrown through the curtain and he rolls down the walkway. Once he stands up, Gargano sprints into the eye of the fans and knocks down Acid with a clothesline! The Junior Heavyweight Champion tumbles down the rest of the walkway and soon finds himself back in the ring. The ‘Whole Shebang’ climbs up the ring steps and onto the apron as Trent Acid slowly rises. The man who dubs himself ‘Holy’ is pulled by the hair as Gargano locks him in a front facelock. The champion starts to battle back, nailing Gargano with right hands to the mid-section before being let free. After a forearm strike, Acid makes his way across the ring and rebounds off the ropes, running towards the open steel chair. He uses it to leap off…GARGANO SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE TOP ROPE WITH A SPRINGBOARD SPEAR, INTERCEPTING ACID IN MID-AIR! Both men crash to the canvas as further evidence of how much the tables have been turned show. With Acid rolling around on the ring mat, Gargano hooks the leg once again and only gets a two.

The Combat Zone loudly chant “Gar-ga-no! Gar-ga-no! Gar-ga-no!” over and over again as the challenger rises to his feet. Steadying himself with the use of the ropes, Gargano seems to have nothing left and calls for Acid to stand. Almost on command, Acid gets up onto one knee only to get Superkicked in the face. The impact can be heard around The Arena and Gargano makes his way to the southwest corner of the ring, scaling the turnbuckles. The ‘International Superstar’ slowly ascends to his feet. The ‘Whole Shebang’ immediately leaps off, looking like he’s going for a diving version of the spear…YAKUZA KICK COUNTER! GARGANO CRASHES AND BURNS TO THE CANVAS! Almost out of nowhere, Acid is able to pull out the Yakuza Kick. Immediately getting his second-wind and the crowd turn incredibly hostile. Gargano gets to his feet and Acid goes for another Yakuza Kick, this time, Gargano moves out the way and shakes off the cobwebs inside of his head and starts to make a comeback. The two slug it out with right and left hands as Gargano throws in a knee to the gut and clocks Acid with an enziguri! The defending champion and unarguably the most despised person in the building right now, collapses to the canvas. Gargano—in a position to make the cover—chooses not to. He Acid to the middle of the ring and crosses both of his legs before turning over…locking in the Crosston Crab!

The innovative and dangerous submission hold is tightened, leaving Acid in a potentially dangerous situation. Johnny begins to wrench thus increasing the intensity of the hold. The ‘Holy’ one may need a higher power to help him out of this predicament and it seems that one is not appearing. Acid begins to crawl, digging his nails into the canvas to give him extra leverage. It doesn’t work; he’s just dragged back into the middle of the ring and back to square one. He begins to crawl once again and stops short of the bottom rope on the north side of the ring. After a brief struggle with being pulled back into the middle of the ring, he grabs (and clasps) the bottom rope for dear life. Gargano tries dragging Acid back into the middle of the ring but the referee forces him to relinquish his Crosston Crab hold. The ‘Bee’s Knees’ pulls Acid up onto his feet and locks in the full nelson—most definitely looking for a second Uniquely You. The Junior Heavyweight Champion gets one arm free and starts to elbow away at Gargano, forcing him to release the hold. Gargano staggers back before going straight back for Acid and runs into a discus elbow smash! The move stuns Johnny as he stumbles from side to side and Acid places him in-between his legs and pulls back. With Gargano on his shoulders, it seems like he’s going for a powerbomb. Despite his best efforts to prevent it from happening, Gargano slips out of it.

With both men back to a vertical base, the crowd know that anyone could come out on top. Gargano makes the first move—which is a clothesline—the champion ducks and follows through, looking for a clothesline of his own and Gargano ducks, allowing Acid to follow through and knock the referee down! Acid turns around and gets blasted with a Superkick! Acid doesn’t fall, instead he stumbles back and stumbles forward into a full nelson hold once again. This time, the challenger for the Combat Zone Pro Junior Heavyweight title hooks his hands behind the neck of Trent Acid to make sure that he doesn’t break free. The two battle for a few seconds and it seems that a second Uniquely You is going to hit…and Acid flicks his right leg back to the nether regions of the challenger! The crowd boo continuously as Acid points to his cranium and screams out loud “Ha! I’m smarter than everyone here!” before walloping his opponent with a DDT, spiking Gargano’s head on the canvas! The referee begins to come around and already Acid is positioning a knocked-out Gargano on the top turnbuckle. He hoists him up with his arms and then lifts him off the top turnbuckle. Trent steps forward a few paces before hurling Gargano forward…ACID BOMB ONTO THE STEEL CHAIR! The ‘Whole Shebang’ busts his face off the steel chair and rolls out onto the canvas, hands over his mouth. The Combat Zone Pro Junior Heavyweight Champion leaps over the challenger and hooks both legs as the referee counts slowly…

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

[Winner Via Pinfall And Still Combat Zone Pro Junior Heavyweight Champion: Trent Acid]

The bell rings and Trent Acid stands up, throwing his arms in the air like he’s just won a marathon. And this may have been more enduring than a marathon. Brett Lauderdale receives the Junior Heavyweight Championship from the timekeeper and hands it to Acid, who snatches it off him and raises it above his head in delight. Lauderdale moves in to try and raise his arm, but Acid shouts at him to ‘**** off’ before leaving the ring and walking up the walkway, adjusting the belt on his shoulder. Inside the ring, Johnny Gargano has his hands still over his mouth and when he stands, he drops them to reveal a bloody mouth. Looking extremely angry, Johnny assures the crowd that this will not be his last shot at the title…

______________

As the ring is being set-up for the 4 Corners of Pain Deathmatch, ring announcer, Larry Legend makes a stand on the outside near the guard rail.

Larry Legend: “Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for the…4 CORNERS OF PAIN DEATHMATCH! The Ultraviolent Underground title will be on the line and it is scheduled for one-fall!”

The crowd go wild whilst the four weapons are set up in the ‘four corners of pain’. The lights go out and then Linkin Park’s “Faint” hits the speaker system. The song booms loudly and lights begin to flicker in The Arena. Eventually, J.C. Bailey steps through the curtain in a black vest and white cargo shorts. Bailey throws up his arms in a cross motion before continuing down the walkway, not slapping the hands of the fans – the determined look on his face tells the story that he didn’t come here to play games, he came here to win the Ultraviolent Underground title. The Kentuckian slides inside the ring and surveys the weapons on offer and most probably thinking of a game plan and what he can do with it.

“Faint” fades out as the crowd are left waiting for a slight minute or two. Bailey shouts out: “Get the **** out ‘ere!” as the arena lights once again dim, “What A Waster” by The Libertines thunders throughout The Arena at a volume that could most probably be heard all-around Philadelphia. The Ultraviolent Underground Champion—Danny Havoc—steps through the curtain (with the belt hanging around his waist) and slowly strolls down the walkway. Slapping the hands of the fans as he goes by with his heavily taped fists, Havoc stops when he reaches ringside. Dressed in jean shorts and a Danny Havoc t-shirt (available at http://www.combatzonepro.com), Havoc takes the Ultraviolent Underground title from around his waist and hoists it up in the air before placing it on his shoulder. He points in the direction of J.C. Bailey – who is watching him like a hawk – and readjusts the title belt slightly before continuing to walk around ringside. The defending champion eventually sets his belt down on the timekeeper’s table before hopping on the ring apron and hopping over the top rope into the middle of the ring.

Both Bailey and Havoc come nose-to-nose in the ring as referee Nick Papagiorgio splits them up to prevent any pre-match goings on. Larry Legend gets inside the ring as both men go to separate corners of ring (not right in the corners, as they have weapons and that would be silly).

Larry Legend: “Introducing first...Hailing from Louisville in the state of Kentucky and weighing in at two-hundred pounds…The challenger… ‘Mr. Too Hardcore For A ****in’ Gimmick’…J.C. BAAAAILEEEY!

Bailey once again throws his hands up in a cross motion and throws them back down beside his waist as Legend turns to Havoc…

Larry Legend: “And his opponent…Hailing from the unacknowledged hardcore capital of the world: Cylinder, Iowa by way of Wisconsin…Weighing in at one-hundred and eighty-nine pounds…HE IS THE REIGNING! DEFENDING! ULTRAVIOLENT UNDERGROUND CHAMPION OF THE WOOOOORLD! DAAAAAANNY HAAAAAVOC!

Havoc takes a bow and the crowd applaud him before taking off his t-shirt and throwing it into the crowd. Referee Nick Papagiorgio looks at both men, ensuring that they’re ready. And once both men nod, he calls for the bell…

[ultraviolent Underground Championship Match – 4 Corners of Pain Deathmatch]

[Danny Havoc© versus J.C. Bailey]

With a Taipei nailboard in the southwest corner of the ring, a barbwire board in the opposite northeast corner, a small purple bag in the northwest corner and a barbwire baseball bat in the opposite southeast corner. Both Bailey and Havoc circle around the ring for a few seconds before locking up. The man who is apparently ‘Too Hardcore For A ****in’ Gimmick’ advances to a headlock as Havoc flails wildly. He manages to push Bailey away and scoop him up and slam him down with a bodyslam. The fundamental slam keeps the challenger down long enough for the champion to hit an elbow drop across the sternum and therefore gaining an early advantage. An early pinfall attempt by Havoc results in a one-count as he lifts Bailey up onto his two feet and applies a headlock of his own, pulling back on the head and tightening his grip and trying to cut the oxygen flow to the brain. J.C. manages to get his head out of the arms of Havoc and apply a waistlock before taking him down to the canvas with a back side slam, twisting approximately ninety degrees anti-clockwise and applying a front sleeper hold. Havoc struggles to stand up and eventually does, turning the hold into a front facelock. Taking advantage of this, Bailey throws Havoc’s right arm over his shoulder and pulls back hitting a suplex; shaking the ring violently. The challenger makes an attempt of a pinfall, Havoc kicks out at two.

Bailey jumps back to his feet and the crowd start to chant—”We want weapons! We want weapons!”—the Kentuckian agrees with their demands. Walking over to the barbwire baseball bat in the southeast corner, he gets a firm grip of it before pulling it up. Whilst doing so, he gets blindsided by a wicked dropkick from Havoc, sending him into the turnbuckle. Havoc immediately after getting up starts firing off some shots to the face of Bailey before irish whipping him in the direction of southwest corner of the ring, where the Taipei nailboard is situated. Bailey somehow manages to stop himself in his tracks and avoid certain pain. The champion of the Ultraviolent Underground charges at him, Bailey foresees the attack and dives out the way, almost leading Havoc into the nails and Havoc halts himself! Havoc turns to see an oncoming Bailey with his arm outstretched. The challenger clotheslines Havoc over the top rope, sending him tumbling to the outside. Looking around the ring, Bailey starts to clap his hands and also stomps his feet on the canvas, whilst on the outside, Havoc is slowly rising. J.C.—by the time Havoc had gotten to his feet—already got a running start. He rebounds off the ropes and then makes a direct sprint to the opposite set. He dives over the top rope with a Suicide Dive! Havoc goes down and the crowd are on their feet, chanting the same chant over and over again. “That was awesome! That was awesome!” rings out through The Arena as Bailey rolls Havoc back inside the ring.

The man from Louisville immediately goes to the southeast corner and picks up the barbwire baseball bat. He hoists it in the air and the crowd roars in approval, waiting for it to be used. Bailey slowly approaches Danny—who is on all fours—and then brings down the baseball bat on his back! At this point in time, Havoc most probably regrets taking off his t-shirt as Bailey grinds the sharp points on the barbwire into the back of the champion. Scratches start to appear on the back of Danny Havoc and then blood starts to emerge from those scratches. Bailey eventually stops grinding and once again hoists the barbwire baseball bat in the air before bringing it down one last time. Havoc lets out a little scream of pain and gets rolled over onto his back and has his leg hooked. The champion kicks out at two and a half, to the disappointment of his challenger. Bailey begins to drag Havoc towards the barbwire board in the northeast corner and when they reach, he looks to throw down the board onto the body of Havoc. He takes a hold of the top of the board and throws it down, Havoc lifts his feet up, preventing anything like that from happening. He kicks the board right back into the corner and does a kip-up, striking J.C. in the face with a huge right hand. He pulls Bailey out to the middle of the ring slightly before grabbing him by his long hair and hurls him into the barbwire board. The board doesn’t break – in fact, it doesn’t move at all. The crowd begin to get loud once again as they see that Bailey is left hanging upside down on the board, with the barbwire stuck in his skin and tangled with his hair.

A bloody Havoc does not waste time in capitalizing on his opponent’s misfortune, he asks a fan to throw a steel chair at him – which she does without question, then after that, he gets the crowd to start a chorus of clapping. The clapping gets louder and louder and soon gets to a deafening level as Havoc runs around the ring and leaps up, placing the chair below his feet and then slamming it into the face of Bailey! The board slightly budges, it does not break however. The chair-surf manoeuvre may have quite possibly knocked Bailey out, and once again taking advantage of his opponent’s misfortune, Havoc pulls him off and back onto the canvas, hooking the leg for a pin. The man who is ‘Too Hardcore For A ****in’ Gimmick’ gets the shoulder up and Havoc doesn’t end this match. The Ultraviolent Underground Champion gets to his feet and drags the barbwire board to the middle of the ring. The crowd look on, taking an interest in what's going to happen next as Havoc picks up Bailey and hooks him with the full nelson. Havoc tries desperately to lift Bailey in the sky, Bailey fights off the dragon suplex attempt. Bailey after escaping the full nelson swings for the fences and Havoc ducks one shot and once again locks him in the full nelson, however this time Bailey delivers a swift kick to the nether regions of Havoc, forcing him once again to relinquish his grip. Bailey scoops up the hunched over Ultraviolent Underground Champion and places him on his shoulders. He languidly walks towards the barbwire board and slams him down with a Michinoku Driver! With Havoc laying in a bed of barbwire, Bailey hooks one leg and neglects to hook the other, and it’s because of that, that Havoc is able to kick out at two.

The Kentuckian stands and looks over the fallen Iowan. He takes both of his legs and turns him over on the barbwire board before sitting on his bloody back with a Boston crab. Havoc screams as Bailey begins to jump up and down on his back whilst still holding his legs. The Ultraviolent Underground Champion begins to crawl—with J.C. jumping up and down on his back—and tries to make it to the set of ropes right in front of him. Eventually, he grabs the ropes and holds on for dear life. Nick Papagiorgio asks for Bailey to let go, and Bailey obeys the order. He drags Havoc near the barbwire board once again and gets kicked in the face. Bailey staggers towards the purple bag in the northwest corner, Havoc follows up with a relentless kick to the chest. He sends Bailey to the ropes, ducking down for the back body drop. Bailey rebounds, he runs into a huge back body drop, sending him crashing into the barbwire board! The ring shakes fiercely as the crowd let out a roar of approval, Havoc does not bother going for the pinfall and instead scales the turnbuckles. He doesn’t even look back at J.C. Bailey…Havoc leaps off with the Iowa State Cyclone (corkscrew moonsault), Bailey somehow manages to untangle himself from the barbwire and roll out the way, leaving Havoc to crash and burn on the barbwire board! The crowd once again lets out that roar of approval and Bailey escalates up the turnbuckles and at that instant leaps off with the Bardstown Jam legdrop! The move crushes Havoc and Bailey hooks the leg…

ONE…

TWO…

THR-KICKOUT!

The crowd are beyond shocked as Bailey runs his hands through his hair. He stands up and starts to stomp his feet in frustration before heading to the purple bag in the northwest corner, picking it up by it’s opening and pouring it’s contents out across the northwest corner of the ring. Thousands upon thousands of thumbtacks are on the ring canvas as Bailey uses his feet to spread them out even more. Havoc begins to reach his knees and Bailey picks up the chair used to chair-surf earlier and begins to bring it down like thunder on the head of Havoc. Shot after shot, dent after dent, soon enough Havoc was laying in a heap on the barbwire board with blood now flowing freely from his forehead. Bailey picks him up and tosses him into the northwest corner, propping him up on the top turnbuckle straight after. The man who is apparently ‘Too Hardcore For A ****in’ Gimmick’ takes off his vest and throws it into the crowd, showing his tattooed body. A few women in the crowd scream and the Kentuckian climbs to the top rope, when he reaches he looks down below at the thumbtack covered mat. He wraps his legs around the throat of the Ultraviolent Underground Champion like he’s going for a hurricanrana, Havoc holds on to the ropes and pulls up Bailey onto his shoulders before standing on the second rope. The crowd hold their breath as Havoc takes a step off the second rope and delivers a sit-out powerbomb off the second rope onto the thumbtacks! Bailey immediately rolls to the outside with hundreds of thumbtacks stuck into his back. Havoc meanwhile slowly stands up onto his feet and uses the ropes to aid him get to the nail board in the southwest corner.

With help from the Combat Zone staff, Havoc is able to set up a contraption. After pulling the guard rail slightly forward on the outside, Havoc and the staff slide the nail board forward onto the guard rail, forming some sort of walking plank stretching from the apron to the guardrail. Havoc looks underneath the ring and whilst under there, he doesn’t realise that Bailey has resurfaced inside the ring. Soon enough, the champion of the Ultraviolent Underground pulls out a fifteen-foot ladder and looks to slide it in the ring, but the human pin cushion inside the ring doesn’t let that happen as he charges across the ring and delivers a baseball slide, kicking the ladder right into the bloody face of Havoc. Danny drops the ladder and goes flying into the guard rail as Bailey goes to the outside and throws the champion inside the ring whilst also tossing the ladder inside the ring. Bailey enters the ring and goes for the ladder, propping it up in the thumbtack polluted northwest corner. With the ladder leaning against the top turnbuckle, Bailey shouts out: “He’s goin’ through it!” He lifts Havoc onto his shoulders and carries him towards the ladder, when they reach however, Havoc drops down and delivers a kick to the mid-section, and then snapping back with a vicious DDT into the thumbtacks! The Combat Zone gasp at the brutality of the move as Bailey has blood streaming down his face from the thumbtacks planted in his head.

Havoc meanwhile, takes the ladder from the corner and sets it up near the nail board contraption from earlier. He tries to climb it and is pulled down from the fifth rung allowing Bailey to hit a dropkick. The move is enough for Bailey to kick him onto the nail board as he makes his way up the fifteen foot ladder. As Bailey reaches the second to last rung, Danny Havoc starts showing signs of life and rolls off the nail board into the ring before slowly climbing after his opponent. The bloody wreck of an Ultraviolent Underground Champion sluggishly reaches the second to last rung as the Combat Zone is just watching on. Bailey is the first to strike as a series of right hands nearly send Havoc flying off the ladder and Havoc retaliates by climbing up an extra rung and raining down headbutts on the Kentuckian. The Iowan continues to rain down headbutts, and J.C. tries pushing him off, it fails as Havoc continues to wreak havoc. Eventually, Bailey starts to fight back and goes up an extra rung as the two are now just slugging it out to the enjoyment of the crowd. Havoc stuns Bailey with a open-palm slap as he takes him over to his side on his shoulders. The crowd look on as Havoc steadies himself on the ladder and suddenly leaps off…GENERAL ORDER 24 OFF THE LADDER AND THROUGH THE NAIL BOARD ON THE OUTSIDE! Nick Papagiorgio jumps up and down inside the ring as both men are sprawled out on the concrete floor…

Chants of “Holy ****! Holy ****!” ring out through The Arena as Nick Papagiorgio leaves the ring to check on both men. With Havoc showing signs of movement, he turns over onto his stomach and throws his arm over the chest of Bailey. Papagiorgio gets down on all fours to make the count…

ONE!

[Winner Via Pinfall And Still Ultraviolent Underground Champion: Danny Havoc]

Amongst the rubble of the taipei nailboard lays Danny Havoc and a face down J.C. Bailey. Papagiorgio has to remove some of the nail board in order to place the World Ultraviolent Underground title on the fallen Danny Havoc who raises his arm in the air from the laying down position. He eventually manages to sit up with the crowd chanting “That was awesome!” over and over again. Havoc eventually stands, with the help of Nick Papagiorgio before raising his title in the air becoming the second and final man to retain his title on this night. Havoc slowly makes his way up the walkway as the show comes to a close…
