World Title Rematch - Sting vs. Mr. Anderson

http://thumbnails.truveo.com/0023/2A/88/2A8844E9045DD530EE8935_Large.jpg

The heated feud between Anderson and Sting raged on this month starting with a vicious backstage brawl. This led to a heated argument when Sting called him out the following week, where Anderson called Sting a has been angering The Icon so much he challenged him to a match at TNA Sacrafice. The next week Sting attacked Anderson following his win over Tommy Dreamer. The next week, Mr. Anderson complained to Hogan about having to wrestle AJ Styles 3 days before his PPV title match, when Sting had the night off, but Hogan came out and said you are an as$hole deal with it, but he couldn't as he drew after an extended match with AJ Styles that last the famous "five more minutes" and still found no winner!

London calling for a title shot - Beer Money vs. London Brawling

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/DesmondWolfe-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/Magnus-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/RobertRoode-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/JamesStorm-1.jpg

Following an impressive title defence against Hernandez and Abyss, Beer Money where attacked by the returning London Brawling, they made it clear in a promo later in the night that they want those tag team titles and would stop at nothing to get them. This led to a return promo the week after where Beer Money said if Brawling want to take them on then they should do it the way Beer Money want, in a match. This was made official for Sacrafice by Beer Money who cut a promo on London Brawling and said they will retain their gold at the pay-per-view. Throughout the month, London Brawling appear on Xplosion cutting promos on Beer Money and 3 days before the PPV London Brawling beat Okada & Jesse Neal with ease.

With those monthly reviews of storylines before PPV, I think you can stop to make Impact and Xplosion reviews.

TV Show are just for storyline, so you can make monthly reviews a little bit longer before the PPV.

The Knockouts - Mickie James vs. Tara

http://www.lethalwow.com/extras/2010-best-feud-mickie-james-vs-tara.jpg

On the second last iMPACT before Sacrifice Tara attacked and challenged James to a match. James accepted the challenge for a match at Sacrifice.

Dinero and Steiner brewing

On the second Impact after Lockdown, Dinero seemingly unprovoked and without motive attacked Steiner backstage. They fought the week later and Dinero beat Steiner cleanly, leading to a vicious promo from Steiner declaring it wasn't over and he would get revenge.

Bully Ray rising

http://videos.asktavoris.com/wp-content/uploads/mvbthumbs/img_41_bully-ray-and-brother-devon-brawl.jpg

Following impressive victories over Steiner and Dreamer in successive weeks, Bully Ray announced that he is sick of his stigma as a tag wrestler and after disposing of Devon, he said he is a main event threat and deserves to be treated so. The next week he had a match with AJ and after getting frustrated at that week not being so easy he got disqualified for choking AJ with his chain. He then issued an open challenge for the next week. His match was against Angle and he began it by saving Copani from Angle and blindsiding Kurt to begin the match before his frustrations again got the better of him again, leading to a DQ win for Kurt Angle.

Abyss vs. AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels vs. Jarrett

http://mimg.ugo.com/201011/7/9/9/132997/cuts/swerve_288x288.jpg

http://images.wikia.com/prowrestling/images/4/4f/A.J._Styles_and_Christopher_Daniels.jpg

This started after a gruelling encounter with Matt Hardy that was given 5 extra minutes, AJ Styles brutally attacked by Abyss leaving him in a bloody mess. Following an arguament with Immortal, AJ Styles found himself on the wrong end of an in- ring beatdown when he came to make an announcment about Abyss, while he looked down and out, he was shockingly saved by the returning Daniels, who fended both of them off. Abyss sent AJ a messege 3 days before the PPV by squashing Suicide. On the other side of the feud, following a convincing victory over Christopher Daniels with a BME, JJ attacked Daniels leaving Jarrett with the advantage going into Sunday. It would also seem this way with Abyss as after a 15 minute time limit draw with Anderson Abyss brutally destroyed AJ in the middle of the ring as iMPACT went off air.

X Division Xchange - Senshi vs. Kazarian vs. Brian Kendrick

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/Senshi.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/Kazarian-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/BrianKendrick.jpg

Following Lockdown, Kendrick cut a promo rekindling his feeling of his fate towards the X Division championship, he said that it was his destiny and said he will go into Destination X as champion. On the same episode, after Senshi made his iMPACT return with a win over Shannon Moore, he was attacked by Kazarian who was looking for revenge over Senshi's recent action. The week after he cut a promo on Senshi, who after a dominant win over Robbie E for the champion, attacked him only for Brian Kendrick to stop Senshi in his path, saving Kazarian from injury. Senshi was attacked the week later whilst he was laying into Joe, when Kazarian came down and fended hit off Samoa Joe. Days before the PPV when Senshi and Kazarian where scheduled in a tag match involving Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy, Kendrick attacked them both backstage and claimed he also wanted a title shot.

Kurt Angle vs. Mark Copani

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/MarcCopani.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/SheikAbdulBashir.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/KurtAngle-1.jpg

After taking Angle out at Lockdown, Copani told everyone that Angle would be out for a while, he said nobody can get up after a reverse STO from him, which he calls the Judgement Drop. He emphasised that we would not be seeing Angle for sometime. He was proved wrong as under half an hour later, Kurt Angle stormed into the arena and scream at staff to tell him where Copani was. Although no one told him he found Copani and put him through a table. The back and forth feud continued and on the second iMPACT after the pay-per-view Angle beat Abdul Bashir in an excellent match, Copani attacked Angle after the match, meaning it was surely Angle's move next. The next week he proved this attacking Copani, but Mark turned the tables and Powerbombed Angle on the concrete backstage. The feud then saw, Mark and Kurt take on former Team 3D members Brother Devon and Bully Ray respectively. The first saw Copani pin Devon, but after the match Angle came out and locked him in an Ankle lock, as it looked ready to break Ray came down and began the next match blindsiding Kurt before his frustrations again got the better of him again, leading to a DQ win for Kurt Angle. It would appear going into this Mark Copani w/ Abdul Bashir has a slight advantage.

Matt Morgan vs. Hernandez

http://i45.tinypic.com/ek2vjm.jpg

On the first iMPACT after Lockdown Morgan cut an aggressive promo claiming that in the Lockdown match Hernandez dodged him, he challenge Hernandez to a match, any time, anywhere and under any rules. The following week, Hernandez attacked him and ask Morgan how is this for any time. Later in the night Morgan said the time was art Sacrifice in a fall count anywhere no holds barred match. The next week Hernandez answered the challenge with a chain wrapped around the neck of Morgan, he said “how is this for an answer!” to which Morgan unsurprisingly had no comment, but the match was clearly set.

It's Mayhem Samoa Joe & RVD vs. Hardyz

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/JeffHardy-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/MattHardy.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/RobVanDam-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/SamoaJoe-1.jpg

After Samoa Joe beat Shane Helms, a split screen came on the screen and The Hardyz were backstage attacking RVD, Joe ran to the back and stopped the attack. Seven days later Ink Inc. were put away easily by the Hardyz who said they aren't here to beat losers up and warn Joe he is stupid for getting involved in their business. This seemed to be true when after beating Jeff Jarrett, Joe was attacked by Matt and Jeff Hardy, then had the focus solely on Samoa Joe and they were punished as RVD returned the favour by helping Joe out the same way he'd been helped the week earlier. The following iMPACT began with Matt and Jeff talking trash about RVD and Joe who came out and responded to them saying that, it was in fact The Hardyz who made a bad choice by dragging Joe into this and told them that they will make them pay, and after the opener that night where RVD beat Dean Dinsmore on his iMPACT debut, The Hardyz came out again and told RVD he better be ready for when Joe gets attacked after his main event match. Later in that night Joe went looking for the Hardyz and ended up attacking Matt leaving him needing medical treatment. This didn't stop Jeff though who after Joe's main event victory over Senshi attacked Joe with help from the man who Joe had just beat. But as was clear Rob Van Dam came down, but now with back up, Senshi's rival Kazarian also coming to Joe's aid. Seven days later on iMPACT Matt Hardy introduced his new manager Reby Sky and said she will accompany him at all times, but this proved untrue as later that night she ran away when he was attack backstage by RVD. This was followed later in the night by RVD and Samoa Joe asking to make Samoa Joe & RVD vs. The Hardyz at Lockdown under Full Metal Mayhem rules. Jeff was in action later that night as was Joe in a tag team match also involving Senshi and Kazarian, which was won when Samoa Joe beat the previously hurt Senshi. Which led to a weapon attack by the losers before RVD broke it up fending Hardy off.

Mike Tenay and Taz invite us to join them for Sacrifice and run down what is on show tonight. Inclding the main event Mr. Anderson vs. Sting.

Senshi and Brian Kendrick challenge Kazarian who has been on a great run of late and he took his excellent form into the match as the PPV opened with an X Division special with 3 of the best example of X wrestlers in TNA, and each shared a strong portion of the match. Senshi then went on a kicking rampage taking both guys and got a near fall of Kendrick before Kazarian broke it up and dumped Senshi out of the ring, he hit Brian Kendrick with a
Fade 2 Black
and when Senshi returned with a springboard Kazarian dropkicked him back to the outside of the ring and got the pinfall on Kendrick to retain the title.

Winner: Kazarian @ 15:16

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/Sting-1.jpg

Sting was interviewed by Christy Hemme, he said that tonight he gives Anderson what he deserves and sends him home with his tail between his legs, and the belt still around The Icon's waist.

Mickie James beat Tara after a brawl that spewed throughout the iMPACT Zone! Mickie finished the match after a slipping out of a

and hitting a
Mick Kick
for the pinfall victory.

Winner: Mickie James @ 7:37

The first major match since London Brawling's return and they took on tag team champions Beer Money in a match that showed an excellent display of what the fans have been missing since Wolfe's medical issue. With Desmond looking fresh in the match, Robert Roode was worked on by the Brits who kept him cornered for the majority of the match it was only a low blow that release Roode who tagged in Storm for the match to really pick up as James Storm cleared house. After a revival from the team on Desmond Wolfe, he was almost completely out after landing on his neck in the corner and he brought Magnus back into the ring and who was hit with a
DWI
. Wolfe tried to come back but was met with a
Double R Spinebuster
and Magnus was pinned.

Winners: Beer... Money! @ 12:29

A video is played hyping RVD &Samoa Joe vs. Matt & Jeff Hardy in the Full Metal Mayhem match. It shows the feuds development over the past weeks, and goes ino the deeper feud between Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam, dating back to 10.10.10.

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/MattMorgab.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/vs-1.pnghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/Hernandez-1.jpg

This match basically ad no rules and basically just had to end by pin or submission. Both men made good use of the lack of rules by beating each other with weapon for large spells of the match which towards the end left both of them in a bloody mess. Morgan used a chair to take advantage of the match and on the top of the ramp he hit a chair shot that rattled throughout the arena. Morgan then took the dazed Hernandez for a Powerbomb on the metal stage that knocked out Hernadez and gave Morgan the win.

Winner: Matt Morgan @ 9:46

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/BullyRay.jpg

After the match Bully Ray ran down and attacked Morgan from behind he took the giant down and laid into him before Ray was led away.

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/AJStlyes.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/vs-1.pnghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/Abyss.jpg

An old-school TNA originals match, both men who have been with TNA for a long time squared off and as it began Abyss took control using his superior strength over AJ took good effect in taking out his right leg. This continued for a few minutes and Abyss got a couple of near falls, but as the match went on Styles built up some momentum and after a frustrated Abyss made a grab at AJ, a
Pele Kick
turned the tables in Styles favour, he rolled to the outside and waited for the monster to rise before jumping at him with a Springboard Clothesline. Following this AJ signalled for the
Styles Clash
which he hit to finish off Abyss and pick up the victory.

Winner: AJ Styles @ 11:45

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/JeffJarrett-1.jpg

Jeff Jarrett cut a promo with Christy Hemme about Daniels saying returning to TNA is a big mistake from Daniels. He then added that by the end of the night CD won't want to return.

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/JeffJarrett-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/vs-1.pnghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/Daniels.jpg

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/MarcCopani.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/KurtAngle-1.jpg

A video plays hyping the match between Mark Copani and Kurt Angle. It hughlights Copani's début a little over a month ago to his slight edge going into this.

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/KurtAngle-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/vs-1.pnghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/MarcCopani.jpg

Angle's feud always seem to go deeper than anyone else's and this was no acception, the hatred toward Copani from Angle was clear in this match they started with an even exchange of move and it really took a while for either man to catch a break in this match. Abdul Bashir at ringside to make the first distinction between the 2 as he caught the leg of Angle and allowed Copani to club down on Angle and take control of the match, including particularly viciously slamming him into ring post which rebounded him out into a huge side walk slam. Copani continued to dominate the match, even after Bashir was sent to the back for getting evolved again.

His dominance continued and he looked to finish it with his reverse STO
The Judgement Drop
but Angle reversed it into a belly-to-belly slam which could have turned the table if Angle wasn't in severe pain especially in the shoulder which was slammed into the post. And when both got up at the same time Copani hit the first shot, but when he went for the second Kurt ducked and hit his 3 German Suplex move on Copani and took his singlet straps down. He went for the Ankle Lock but Copani rolled out of it and bounced back straight into the arms of Copani who kicked him in the gut and went for his vicious Powerbomb he has used this month, but again there was a reversal when Angle turned it into an Angle Slam which finished the match off, with Angle the winner.

Winner: Kurt Angle @ 15:57

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/MrAnderson-1.jpg

Mr. Anderson cut a promo saying he would win the title tonight by beating Sting so bad he won't want a rematch.

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/JeffHardy-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/MattHardy.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/vs-1.pnghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/RobVanDam-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/SamoaJoe-1.jpg

This match was dangerous, there was no goal in the ladder match only to inflict pain on the others, and this goal was well and truly full filled with a lot of metal (and bit of wood) inflicting serious injuries upon the recipient of the weapons.

This was of course a tornado tag, but the clear focus of RVD on Jeff was it largely broke up into 2 matches. Jeff and Van Dam took it to the outside using the ladder as a slamming weapon and hitting each other the chairs laid around the ring as well as some special moves on the guardrails. Meanwhile, in the ring Joe was using his stiff kick and punches to keep Matt Hardy at bay and that was the main them of the whole match.

As the match reached it's pinnacle all 4 men were in the ring along with 2 table, 1 chair and 2 ladders as well as a chain which Joe was in the process of choking Jeff with. In fact Samoa Joe was the only man standing, but focussing on Jeff Hardy for too long and his brother came around and hit Joe in between the legs with a chair knocking him down, as Matt got up though, he turned into a Van Daminator. With Matt Hardy and Samoa Joe down, it seemed both RVD and Jeff had brain waves. Both involved climbing up 1 of the ladders, only noticing the other when they both reached the top. RVD dropped first with a
Frog Splash
to Matt Hardy, forcing Jeff to change his plans and break up a close fall with a
Swanton Bomb
to his brother and to Rob Van Dam. With all 3 out Samoa Joe was the first up and he stalked as Jeff Hardy got up and got him in a
Muscle Buster
to pick up the victory.

Winners: Samoa Joe & RVD @ 16:44

After the match RVD and Samoa Joe are celebrating, RVD goes to the top of the ladder to celebrate with the fans while, Joe stands on the top rope. What they do not realise is that behind them the Hardyz are getting up, they both walk towards the ladder and tip it over, sending RVD to the outside, knocking him out instantly. Hearing this Joe turns around and starts kicking Jeff and Matt, but the numbers overwhelm him and he is beaten down by the brothers. They put him on a table between the 2 ladders and they both ascend them, they taunt for a few seconds before dropping an old-school
Event Omega
on Samoa Joee through the table leaving him in serious pain.

http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/Sting-1.jpghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/vs-1.pnghttp://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/MrAnderson-1.jpg

An excellent title match between the 2 top names in TNA at the moment and it was back and forth between the 2 who carried an excellent brawl throughout most of the match and both man gave everything they had to stay or become the top man in TNA, with Sting experience and the unpredictability of Mr. Anderson, nobody could predict the winner in this match and a Mic Drop got a 2 count leaving Anderson wondering if there was anything he could do to beat Sting. And The Icon did his best in proving he was unbeatable by kicking out many an attemp to end it by Anderson who by now had took control in the match and was continually trying new ways of finishing Sting but to no avail.

Then Sting started his comeback, he turned the table on him and hit him with a Scorpion Death Drop, not content with this he locked in a Death Lock and force Mr. Anderson tap out due to the fear of breaking his back. Sting celebrated his win as Sacrifice went off air

Winner: Sting @ 20:27

Jeff Jarrett used everything in the heel book in this match and whenever he got the chance to he bent to the rules. Despite this, Daniels kept a good offence in the match and managed to take control of the match for a large spell in the middle before it became more even again. Daniels did however find an opening for his
Angel Wings
only for JJ to tip him over knocking out the referee, this left him open to retrieve his Guitar and smash it over the head of Daniels. He dragged Daniels' limp body up and dropped him with a
Stroke
as the referee came around, just in time for the pinfall.

Winner: Jeff Jarrett @ 11:45

TNA:XW held their first show last night

Here are the results from TNA: XW - Revenge Weekly:

  • Legacy Match - Reid Flair vs. El Hijo de Rey Misterio

  • Jesse Neal beat Gunner

  • Orlando Jordan beat Suicide

  • Dean Dinsmore beat Hernandez

  • Shad Gaspard beat Murphy to win the TNA: XW World Title

Fans in attendance noted it felt very much like Xplosion, but with much less people and many also said a few workers look fairly unmotivated after the switch from TV to working a crowd of 68. Many said Hernandez was the star of the show, and said he showed a great heel character as if he has been let loose to do as he pleases rather than a Mexican stereotype. A high point of the night was when Misterio vs. Flair was announced, a low point was that it was the legend's sons - Reid & El Hijo de Rey Misterio.

Fans in attendance again noted it felt very much like Xplosion, this time with a crowd of 71. Again the majority said Hernandez was the star of the show, and that his character is much more natural that on TV and he played a very good heel.
